Choosing to be Thankful - A Prayer of Peace & Emotional Control (2.24.17)

Lord,
Thank you for not letting my emotions control me this day.

You know how easy it is for me to slip into
negativity or anxiousness when things
appear (appear) to be out of control.

Thank You that You have promised to be my Rock.

You give me a firm place to stand
when I look to You for my stability.

Help me to cultivate a grateful heart, to see even the smallest of Your blessings; and in that moment, let gratefulness arise within me.

Thank You, that when I offer my praise and thanks to You, even in moments when it feels hard to do, You use it as a door to come in and work on my behalf.

Help me not to allow other people’s emotions dictate how I feel.

Give me Your peace today.
May I trust You with what robs me of that peace.

I give You my concerns about the things that are going on in my workplace, and I thank You that You are at work on my behalf.

I choose to be thankful today.

Thank you Lord!!

Amen

God Did Not Call His People to Be Normal. He Calls Us to Be Different. (2.23.17)

Faith Believers,
Sometimes during trials, we have to go to what we know works best - and that is trusting in the Lord.
Hard times come to everyone. The question is how will we handle these trials?

When you are going through a rough time, do you complain?
When you get bad news, do you begin to worry?
That is completely normal.
However, GOD did not call His people to be normal.
He calls us to be different (Colossians 3:1-4).

We have the power of GOD on our side. So when bad things happen, we can praise GOD anyway. You have a choice of giving in to fear; or worship Him, and let His Peace guard your heart (Philippians 4:7).

The writer of Psalm 42 was struggling because his enemies were taunting him. He thought GOD may have forgotten him. Yet, he decided to trust and to praise GOD anyway. Regardless of how long he struggled, he chose to worship GOD. Regardless how dark it seemed, he made his decision to believe GOD. He chose to worship the One for whom his soul longed.

Sometimes, in the middle of our pain, we must ignore the enemy and rest in the Lord; knowing that He can change things whenever He chooses.

GOD is good and He is faithful.
He has a plan and He will see you through
whatever you are going through.
So praise Him anyway.

~ Prayer ~
Lord,
Remind me of Your love and faithfulness
in the middle of this struggle
I am going through.

Even when it is hard, Lord,
I will worship You.

Amen.

You have Everything You Need, if You Just Believe (2.22.17)

My Child,
You have too much on your mind right now.
Now, your heart is heavy, and things seem to be
     closing in on you.
All that you've hoped for and believe in is being challenged,
and you’re wondering if you can hold on.

Yes, My child, you can, because My Spirit is dwelling within you.
And My Spirit will enable you to speak to that mountain
and cause it to move out of your way.

You have everything you need within you to overcome
any problem or circumstance that you
face, if you just believe it.

What I’ve given you will see you through to victory and strengthen you to overcome every discouragement, but only when you act upon it.  Remember, faith without works is dead.  Take your eyes off the problems and look unto the hills from whence cometh your strength.  Turn your thoughts towards Heaven and think on the things above.

You asked for wisdom and I have given you what you needed.
Let this mind be in you as it is in Christ Jesus.

With Me, Victory is assured.  I will never fail you.

Loose yourself from those shackles that are trying to hold you down.  If the enemy can keep your mind on what you don’t have, and all that is going wrong in your life; you will never receive the blessing that is waiting for you.

It’s time you shut him out, leave him behind and move to a new spiritual address.

Yes, I have created a better place for you.
Therefore, stay focused on Me and
what I have the power to do.

Yes, I Am GOD all by myself and
I have all power over everything you might face.

Read and Meditate on His Word
Mark 11:23 - For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

James 2:17 - Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Psalm 121:1-2 - I will lift up
mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Colossians 3:2 - Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

A Very Present Help.... (2.21.17)

My Child,
You should always refuse to allow the enemy to discourage you by repeating the words I have ministered to your spirit.  Your breakthrough is imminent, Beloved; but you must take your stand on My Promises, and be unwavering in your faith.

Your prayers have not been prayed in vain.
They have been heard, and I tell you that I Am
not a GOD without power to perform My Word.

Nothing is impossible for Me.

I Am your very present help in times of trouble,
and I Am with you to lead, guide and direct your steps.

Trust Me to move you in the flow of My Spirit
   and do not be afraid.

My child, know that your difficult circumstances can be a stepping stone to the manifestation of the blessings I have planned for you.

Right now, today - stand strong in the face of adversity.
Know that I Am with you and I Will guide you.

Refuse to allow a spirit of fear to invade your spiritual environment, let My Love and My Assurance rule.

Now is not the time to retreat nor to give up.
Now is the time to refine and move forward
   with renewed faith.
Rise up and refuse to allow the enemy to use
your current situation to neutralize you.

Read and Meditate on His Word
Psalm 46:1 - GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Matthew 19:26 - But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Timothy 1:7 - For GOD hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Come Aside (2.20.17)

My Child,
Come aside unto Me, this moment, where you and I can be one, together.

I Am the Lord, who watches over you.
Have you forgotten that I know you?
I know your troubles.
I know those things that you struggle with.
I know those things that you think about.
I know you better than you know yourself.

I Am leading and guiding you, and I will never forsake you

I know all the things that are before you, the things that are yet unfulfilled.
I know what the enemy has formed against you.  And, because I know all these things you can have peace knowing that what the enemy has formed against you, won’t work; for I Am working things out on your behalf.   I will bring you through the storms and through the valleys that you will encounter; but only if you believe in Me, and walk with Me.

So, come aside from these troubling times
for a moment of refreshing with Me.

Yes, you need to make time, for then you shall be able to see the direction that you should go.

Come aside with Me and
your day will go much smoother.

I will keep you steadfast on the path of righteousness and remove all hopelessness, worry and discouragement.

Just come aside and be one with Me.

Read and Meditate on His Word
1 Chronicles 16:27 - Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

Psalm 139:1-3 - O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways

Isaiah 43:2 - When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Learning to Ride Waves & the Situations that Challenge You (2.17.17)

My Child,
As a ship is tossed about in the ocean, you too, often feel tossed about by your circumstances. However, you fail to realize that these same waves contain the power to take the boat to its destination. Those strong, powerful winds will catch the sails and transport the vessel through the rough waters, and although it may not be comfortable, it will reach its destination.

In other words, you have complained about the strong winds blowing and the discomfort they bring; however, these same winds hold the power to push you to your destination. You are so focused on the discomfort, that you are not harnessing the power of these situations. Instead of fighting against them, embrace them and learn to ride them.

Learn to ride waves and the situations that challenge you.

If you learn how to use the challenging circumstances in your life, you will rise above them. Then, once you do this, you will look up and see that I Am the One at the helm of your ship. I am the one steering you and yes, I will at times steer you into the wind so that My sails can catch it, and take you where I need you to be.

Therefore, My child, stop struggling and learn to yield to what I Am doing in your life. Learn to stand in My Name and face these situations, knowing that Your Captain is in control of the ship.

Learn to rise above fear and use faith in these circumstances. Instead of avoiding the storms, embrace the winds, and sail through to your destination.

And when you get your place of victory, you will see that you are much stronger than when you first started your journey.

You will see that your circumstances pushed you beyond what you could have ever imagined.

You will see that only the Lord could have done this thing in your life.

I say to you, learn to ride the storm, embrace the strong winds blowing in your life, and sail on to victory with Me.

Read and Meditate on His Word
Matthew 8:24-27 - And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Act 27:30-31 - And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Galatians 5:16 - Walk by the Spirit & You will not Carry Out the Desire of the Flesh (2.16.17)

Faith Believers,
Galatians
5:19–21 clearly states the deeds of the flesh: “Immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealously, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these.” These deeds are demons sent from satan. The followers of Christ will never know victory over these sins, until we own up to our own responsibility to overcome the works of the enemy. Immorality and impurity are choices that people make. satan is ultimately the seducer, however, we as Christians, are the ones who make the choice. We either choose to yield to the Holy Spirit, and crucify the lusts of the flesh; or we choose to yield to the deeds of the flesh.

We will have to make the choice, as long as we dwell in our mortal bodies on this sin-cursed earth.

That is why prayer is vitally important.

Prayer enables us to put on the whole armor of GOD,
by leaving no room for the deeds of the flesh.

Prayer enables believers to prepare for
the battle that will take place,
as we go into a world that is contrary
to the nature of GOD.

Prayer brings the followers of Christ
to rest under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

And prayer gives us confidence in the truth of the apostle Paul’s statement, “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).

~ Prayer ~
Abba Father,
My spirit is weak and the desires of my flesh
often get the best of me.

Forgive me for my weaknesses and fill me
with the strength of Your Son, Jesus Christ;
who was tempted but did not fall into sin.

Help me to continually choose to crucify
my selfish desires and to keep my eyes fixed
upon the purity and holiness of Your Heart.

Amen

Take Time to Praise the Lord (2.15.17)

Faith Believers,
I woke up this day saying, “Thank you Jesus” over and over, giving GOD the glory for just allowing me to open my eyes. This is the day the Lord has made, so let us lift up His Name in praise this day!!! Regardless of what you went through yesterday, that was yesterday.

Today is a new day, it’s filled with GOD’s new mercy and His loving grace. Do not waste it on worrying about what happened yesterday, or what you have to face tomorrow. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised.

Therefore, we should be thanking the Lord and giving Him praise for THIS day.

Let this day be about Him (not about what’s going on in this world) because Jesus already conquered this world for us. Focus, this day, on keeping your mind on Him, praise His Holy Name, and He will keep you in perfect peace.

If you think you don’t have anything to be thankful for, because perhaps you believe that He has not answered your prayers, let me help you out:

If you have food to eat… PRAISE THE LORD!
If you have a place to lay your head… PRAISE THE LORD!
If you have shoes to put on your feet… PRAISE THE LORD!
If you have clothes to wear… PRAISE THE LORD!
If you have eyes to see, ears to hear, feet to walk, hands to feel…. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

Don’t stop there, keep on PRAISING THE LORD!!!

Oh, and one more thing,
your prayers have been answered.
You just don’t believe it,
because you cannot see it.

Start walking by faith, not by sight.

Praise the Lord this day and the Lord
will allow you to see what can only be seen
through the eyes of faith...
THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS

I don’t know about you, but I am going to get my praise on this day!  Let us praise the Lord, for He is worthy to be praised!

Psalm 146: 1-6
Praise the LORD! Let all that I am praise the LORD. I will praise the LORD as long as I live. I will sing praises to my GOD with my dying breath. Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. But joyful are those who have the GOD of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their GOD. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.

Psalm 148: 1-6
Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him from the skies! Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all the armies of heaven! Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you twinkling stars! Praise him, skies above! Praise him, vapors high above the clouds! Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for he issued his command, and they came into being. He set them in place forever and ever. His decree will never be revoked.

Psalm 150
Praise the LORD! Praise GOD in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heaven!  Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the LORD! Praise the LORD!

Many are Asking "When Lord?" & He is Saying "It Is Already Yours..." - KEEP STANDING!! (2.14.17)

My Children,
It is time for My people to rise up and stop looking down at their ashes and counting their woes and pains.

It is time for them to lift their heads and look to Me.
Where does your help come from?
Your help comes from Me, the maker of Heaven and earth!

I Am the One who has healed you, the One who has removed sickness from your midst, the One who has removed oppression from your life, the One who has brought you joy amidst pain.

And I Am the One, who will do it again!

Psalm 121:1-2 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Many of you are asking, "When Lord?"
And I Am saying, "It is already yours."
Believe you have received what you prayed for.

I Am calling My people to rise up and to continue proclaiming the Truth of what is already theirs.

Do not allow the enemy to sow seeds of fear and lies into your lives, but SPEAK in faith to your circumstances. And don’t stop speaking when things don’t happen on your time, but be faithful in prayer (like Daniel), stay before Me and watch the power of My Word change your situation.

Daniel 10:12 - Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy GOD, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
Rise up from the ashes,
for they will not bring you freedom.
They will only push you deeper
into oppression and fear.

Many of you have heard the words 'new day' and have been wondering when is this new day coming? When will the sun rise on my circumstance?

I speak to you today, do not be discouraged because the day has become darker instead of brighter.  Haven’t you heard, it is always darkest before the dawn?

The sun is about to rise on your life and your circumstances.
I Am interceding for you.
Just continue to stand on My Word.

Psalm 30:5 - For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Remember, no harm shall come to you and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Continue standing in faith and do not allow fearful thoughts to enter your mind.

Take every thought captive,
and no matter how your body feels,
and no matter how your circumstances look,
KEEP STANDING.

Stand firm on My Word, and continue to confess your breakthrough.
Continue to confess victory in the face of the adversary.

The breakthrough is so close, do not give up now,
for it is closer than you think.
The darkness has increased because
it is about to turn into the dawn.

Step up, step out of your ashes.
Look up, look up and receive My joy, and never stop believing.

Psalm 30:11-12 - Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;  To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my GOD, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
