My Child,
I want you to be prepared to move as the Spirit leads you.
Do not become so complacent that you do not want to accept the changes I Am doing in your life. the enemy will use this against you, and it will hinder your Walk with Me. Refuse to allow the enemy to paralyze you with anything. he has not stopped you from moving forward - it is only a delay. And if you look closely, it is only in certain areas of your life, for which I, the Lord your God, have allowed these delays..... Think about it.....
Yet and still, all of this has left you uncertain about so many things. Now, the fear of making the wrong choices has hindered and crippled your Faith in Me. I say to you this day, "Be not dismayed!! There are other things you need to move ahead on." I do not want you to try to force anything open. Seek My Wisdom and Guidance in everything you do. Do not become so obsessed with what seems to be blocked, that you miss the New Thing I Am trying to do in your life.
Yes, I am doing something new.
I want you to stop thinking negative and STOP allowing the enemy to control your thoughts. When you allow the enemy to control your thinking, it only reinforces the enemy's control over your life -- and he has done that for far far too long. DO NOT allow him to get in anymore.
Rise up and rebuke him in MY NAME!
From this moment on, I want you to stop uttering discouraging words
that so easily come to mind.
I know frustrations and trials have left you weary;
and discouragement has crept in overnight.
However, now is the time for you to hunger
and thirst for more of Me, like never before.
You must enter into spiritual warfare to break
hindrances and destroy strongholds.
Seek My face; and confess every sin - even sins of doubt, fear, and anxiety.
Once you do this, then I will hear you from Heaven and lift you out
and over every obstacle the enemy has tried to bring against you.

Seasons of Rest are Just as Important as Seasons of Actively Serving God (9.29.15)
My Child,
I know, that at times it is hard for you to sit still - and to do nothing.
However, your seasons of rest are just as important to Me as your seasons of actively serving Me. I am not a harsh taskmaster. I have not called you to be so busy serving Me, that you wear yourself out. You must not allow yourself to get to the point of exhaustion - for when that happens, you will have difficulty hearing My Voice and discerning My Nearness.
Exhaustion will interfere with your ability to be more intimate with Me, and that is not good for you.
I want you to follow the example I, Your Father God, have set for you. When I created the world and everything that is in it, I worked for six days, and rested on the seventh.
Thus establishing the precedent for you to rest from your work as well. It is true that there will be seasons where I Call you to be busy for Me, giving you many important Kingdom tasks. However, when I put you in such a Season, I Will also give you the strength needed to do all that I’ve called you to do.
And after that, there will be a season of rest - where I do not assign you many tasks, and this is your time of rest. You’ve endured so much, and you’ve fought many battles for the Kingdom; and now you need rest.
Therefore, allow My Spirit to rest upon you,
to minister to you and pour a refreshing wind over you.
Accept My Gift of rest and learn to rest in Me.
Then watch as I open My Mysteries up to you
and reveal more and more of Myself to you.
Rest now so you can hear from Me.

How do you hear from GOD?
People say things like, “GOD spoke to me” or “The Lord told me”.

Hindrances like wrong attitudes, resentment, or unconfessed sins can cause distance in our relationship with GOD. When this happens, confession and repentance will bring us back into a close relationship, where we can hear from GOD again. Spiritual breathing is an excellent practice that will help keep the lines of communication open.

God Understands More Than You Know - Psalm 126:5 (9.27.15)
Dear Child,
I know your pain and grief are real.
Right now, the pain is perhaps too real to face,
and you’re looking for a place of comfort.
You don’t have to look any further, because
I Am standing right in front of you.
Come to Me, dwell in My secret place, and abide under the shadow of My wings. I Know that the weight of the events that have recently happened, have left you feeling weary. And now the sorrow seems too much to bear. I want you to know that the pain you’re feeling - it will not last forever. For weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Abide in My Presence and I Will help you get through the night.
I know you think that I do not understand. However, I Am the Lord your God, Abba, Father, Yahweh, Jehovah and I understand what you are going through, more than you could ever know. I understand your pain and sorrow; for I felt an even greater pain when My Son gave His life and became sin for the world. I felt His pain, and I felt the pain of mankind's sin placed upon Him. So, I understand what you are going through, more than you know.
My Child, in the midst of your pain,
I Am asking you, I Am requiring of you, to Trust Me.
Yes, Trust Me with your worries, cares and concerns.
I Am the only one that can do anything about the situation that is causing you pain.
Cry if you must, for this is a process that you must go through.
Your tears will bring healing and deliverance to your wounded Spirit. Weeping doesn’t mean that you are weak; it is a way of letting go and allowing Me to cover you with My Healing Balm.
When you sow in tears, you shall reap in joy - that is My Promise to you.
Now, be at Peace and seek My Face.
Seek a closer relationship with Me.
Draw closer to Me.
You need Me, so come close and allow Me to heal your pain.

Abba Father,
My spirit is weak
and the desires of my flesh
often get the best of me.
Forgive me for my weaknesses
and fill me with the strength of Your Son,
Jesus Christ, who was tempted
but did not fall into sin.
Help me to continually choose to crucify my selfish desires
and to keep my eyes fixed upon the purity and holiness
of Your Heart, Father God.

Sing, My Children, Sing!!! (9.22.15)
My Child,
I long to hear singing in the streets, and I long to hear rejoicing from the hearts of My People; no matter what their circumstances. I long to see Faith arise not only in spoken words, but also in praises. I long to hear the voices of My Chosen Ones rejoicing, over that which I have done; that which has not been seen with the natural eye.
Many of My Children have hoped and believed; but have not received.
I tell you that not only do I inhabit the praises of My People,
but also when a rejoicing heart is joined to a confessing mouth,
I will move heaven and earth to manifest that which I have promised them,
and that which they have Believed Me for.
I tell you that not only do I inhabit the praises of My People,

Have you tried so hard to work things out,
but it appears you’re getting nowhere?
And now your faith is fading?
If this is where you are, then I Say to you, "Let go...."
Just take your hands off of it and commit it to Me.
Talk with Me about what you’re struggling with,
then leave it at My Feet and Rest in Me.
Say a prayer of Thanksgiving, and know that I Will work it out.
When you do this, you move "self" out of the way
and allow Me the opportunity to move mightily on your behalf.

YOU Were Chosen to do Great Things! So Stand Strong & Do Not Be Weary; for God is Still in Control!! (9.19.15)

What is this I Am seeing?
So many of my people are giving up on their ministries.
Some have become weary from the journey,
but this must not be so with you.
I Ask that you would stand firm, and do not
back down at the enemy’s attempts to derail you.
That is all he can do, is try to tempt you.
Having done all… STAND.
Do not fear the enemy.
Do not allow him to intimidate you.
I Am still in control.

God Asks Us to Continue to Trust His Integrity, Character, Compassion, Love & Wisdom - At ALL Times (9.18.15)
Faith Believers,
GOD tells us to give our concerns to Him.
Even as the situation remains dismal, "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7. The circumstances may look out of control, but they aren't. When the whole world seems to be falling apart, GOD can keep us together. When a person is very grateful, despite circumstances or situations, that is one indication that they know GOD.
"The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to GOD. And the peace of GOD, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6. GOD may provide solutions, even resolutions to the problem far beyond what you imagined possible. Probably any Christian could list many examples in their own lives. But if the circumstances do not improve, GOD can still give us His Peace in the midst of the storms.
Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful." - John 14:27.
It is at this moment, when circumstances are still tough, that GOD asks us to continue to trust Him -- to "walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7. But let's be clear, it is not blind faith. It is Faith that is based on the very character of GOD. A car traveling on the Golden Gate Bridge is fully supported by the integrity of the bridge. It doesn't matter what the driver may be feeling, or thinking about, or discussing with someone in the passenger seat.
What gets the car safely to the other side
is the integrity of the bridge,
which the driver was willing to trust.

In the same way, GOD asks us to trust His integrity, His character... His compassion, love, wisdom and righteousness on our behalf. GOD is a refuge for us" - Psalm 62:8.

You are going through things you cannot understand right now.
You are going through things that do not make sense,
things that challenge your Faith in Me.
Things that have you asking, “Why Lord.”
Trust Me. I know what I am doing.
I Am teaching you to trust Me.
I Am teaching you to hear My voice.
Do not allow others to entice you,
nor cause you to pull away from Me.
I want you to put your complete trust in Me.

Persist & Pursue those Dreams that God gave You!! Do Not Give Up!!!! (9.16.15)

This is not an impossible situation, so do not give up.
Persist and pursue that which I gave you.

You cannot fail or be destroyed,
if you keep walking with Me in obedience.
I say unto you, declare in your heart and your mind
that you will achieve your goal.
Speak by Faith and make your Message Known,
while giving Me the Glory for the Courage I have given.

The Trials that You are Facing -- Have Faith in God & He WILL Lead You to Victory (9.15.15)
My Child,
At times, you will go through trials and struggles in your life.
Do not be surprised when they come.
Remember, I said, “In this world, you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) These trials are a part of life, and they help you to grow and mature. The only way for you to become more like Me, is for you to experience some of the things that I went through.
At times, you will go through trials and struggles in your life.

Be Faithful, "Stop & Listen" to the Lord & Write It Down (9.14.15)
My Child,
Are you writing down the things that I Am speaking to you?
When I reveal something to you in the spirit realm, it is important for you to record what I have shown you. You must discipline yourself to "Stop and Listen" when you hear from Me; and then write down what you have seen or heard. I told My Servants to write the vision and make it plain, so that others may go forth that read it. I want My Children to know that I Am yet speaking, and I Am speaking to those who are seeking Me with their whole heart.
My Child, what if My Servants before you neglected to write the things that I spoke to them? If they had, you would never know that I have a hope and a plan, for you. You would never know 'that to him that overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will grant him to sit with Me in My throne.

from seeing what I am doing in your life.

So, do not allow the past to hinder you anymore,
look forward to the future and Believe Me for new things.
Never think My Hand too short, that it cannot deliver you, nor do the impossible, in your life. My Storehouse is full of great and mighty things. However, how will you ever experience all that I have for you, if you are focused on things of old?
When you let go of: your disappointments, those who hurt you, and the things you wished would have happened; only then do you set yourself free to move onto greater things. You set yourself free to heal and love again. Oh, come close to Me, for I have new things for you. Move beyond the past in order to possess them.
Look forward to something new and let the past burn behind you.

You seem to be between a rock, and a hard place.
Refuse to become discouraged with difficult circumstances. Take one step at a time, and face one problem at a time. It is the only way to defeat stress. Be encouraged and be strong; for I Am with you. I will strengthen you and cause you to rise above every occasion; and you will gain the victory over the enemy.

for they will spoil your tomorrow.
Release the hurt and disappointments,
because they cannot bless you.
Holding on to pain will cause bitterness to take root in your spirit. There were some lessons you had to learn from the past, but do not bring that hurt and pain into your future. Nothing has happened to you that I am not aware of, and that I can’t fix.
Not even one sparrow falls to the ground without My knowledge,
so release what no longer blesses your life.
Release and forgive what has happened,
and look to Me to provide you a brighter future.

Stop Worrying. Keep Your Mind on God & Not Your Situation... (9.10.15)

Do not limit the things that I want to do in your life.
Do not let your circumstances dishearten you,
nor hinder you from reaching your destiny.
Please allow Me to blow My Gentle Wind of refreshing over you.
To breathe new life into your hopes and dreams,
which lie buried under heavy burdens and despair.
Look unto Me.
Worship Me in Spirit and in Truth.
Allow Me to break through the limitations that you have in your mind;
and bring to pass all the dreams and visions that I have given you.
Yes, surrender every thought to Me and let My Will be done.
I want to destroy the limitations in your mind,
for they are blocking you from reaching your dreams,
so that you can believe again and become excited
about My Promises coming to pass in your life.
I Am The Lord your God, and I will wipe away the fears
and discouraging thoughts that tell you it cannot be done.
Don’t you know there is nothing, absolutely nothing too hard for Me?
However, I can only do what you allow Me to do.
If you stop striving and start trusting Me,
you will see that all things are possible - if you only believe.
Keep your mind on Me not on your situation.

Oh, that You Would Believe & Magnify Christ Jesus' Name. Step Out on Unshakeable Faith!! (9.9.15)
Beloved,
Yes, this is the season of expectation.
However, some of My Sheep have stopped expecting to receive,
because of the struggles in their lives.
Beloveds - what would have happened if those who came before you,
had stopped expecting their blessings?
What if Abraham had stopped expecting his son?
What if Moses stopped expecting Our Father to perform miracles for him?
What if Joseph stopped expecting his dreams to come to pass?
What if someone had stopped praying and expecting you to be saved from the hands of the enemy?
And what if I had given up on My Father hearing My prayer and sending the angels to minister to Me, so that I could make it to the cross?
Dear one - I am just as alive today as when I walked the earth with My Disciples. The same miracles that I performed then, I will do again; if you believe and expect to see them. I went to My Father, and then I sent the Holy Spirit - so you could do greater things. However, greater things won’t happen, if you don’t believe AND expect them to happen. Oh, ye of little faith.....
Why don’t you expect to see miracles and greater things happen in your life?
Why have you allowed problems and situations to be on your mind,
and your tongue, all the time?
I thought I was The One that you loved more than anything?
If I am, then why don’t you give Me the praise and glory that I deserve?
Why do you give glory and honor to that which troubles you?
Oh, that you would believe again.
Oh, that you would believe in Me, the way you believe
in the problems which plague your soul.
Oh, magnify My Name! Lift up My Name in praise!
If My people want to see Me move among them;
then it is time they start believing in Me
more than they believe in this world.
If My people want to see signs, wonders and miracles happen;
then they need to walk by Faith and be led by My Spirit.
I am searching for the ones who are willing to step out on Unshakable Faith, and allow Me to work miracles through them. For I am sending Revival Fire throughout the land. Oh, lift up your voices and sing a new song this day! Sing a song of praise! It is time for My Sheep to stand on My Truth and Proclaim It, for this is a Season of Expectation and obeying My Voice.
I am the LORD of miracles, I changeth not.
As you step out in Faith and speak My Word with all boldness,
expect to see multitudes touched by My Power.
Expect to see change throughout the land;
for I will move through those who walk by faith,
those who give Me the glory and praise.

God's Plan will bring Him the Greatest Glory, and You the Greatest Good (9.8.15)
Beloved,
GOD has a plan for your life. He brought you into this world to fulfill that plan, as He did Me, His only Son. It is the best plan that anyone could ever create for you. It is a plan that will bring Him the greatest glory and you the greatest good. Allow GOD to work out His plan in your life.
Hear what My Father is saying:
My Child,
I Am calling you to trust in Me, and as you do,
step out in faith and take the next step of obedience.
Remember, there will be times that I will lead you in a way that you don’t know; a path that you’ve never traveled before. I Am able to turn the darkness into light and make the crooked places straight. These things I will do for you because of your obedience, and because I love you.
My Plans for you are good.
I know why I created you, and
I know what I have destined you for.
I Am willing to walk with you, and empower you, to move in the full measure of that destiny.
Are you willing to walk there with Me?
All I require of you is that you have a willing and obedient heart.
Don’t worry about the mistakes you’ve made,
I will repair every area of your life that is tarnished.
It’s never My intent to leave you in your difficulties or failures.
My plans are to bring Restoration in your life. I created you in My Image to be a carrier of My Glory, and I want to accomplish that in your life. It is My good pleasure to bring a new level of Joy and Peace into your life, as you turn to Me and trust Me to accomplish My Perfect Plan in your life.
As you follow My Plan for your life, it is important that you remember that I Am the Potter, you are the clay. I Am the Guide, and you are the follower. Even though it’s your life, I don’t need you to help Me to decide what is best for you. I Am the Creator of Life. I Know your beginning and your end. I already know what best for you. I Am just asking you to trust Me, and to take the next step of Obedience according to My Will.
Remember, I Am your Shepherd, your Provider, your Strength,
your Counselor, your Shield, and I Am your Father.
I know what is best for you.
Therefore, follow My Plan
and it will lead you home to Me.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Isaiah 42:16 - And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them
Isaiah 43:7 - Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Look Through the Eyes of Faith & See the Windows of Heaven Open Over Your Life (9.7.15)
My Child,
I know the circumstances you’ve endured didn’t make sense.
Nevertheless, they worked out for your good.
For many of you this last season was a test of faith.
There were times you couldn’t see past the next step.
However, you were faithful to believe that I would guide you, provide for you, and you faithfully took the next step. One after another. Now, let this be the day when you look through the eyes of Faith and see the windows of Heaven open over your life.
I Am bringing restoration, for you to learn how to rejoice
and leap for joy, even in the midst of hard times.
Gather up the spoils of the war that I have won for you.
I Am blessing you for your faithfulness,
and bringing you into a whole new world of the living.
Therefore, do not limit Me in what I am getting ready to do.
Oh, My Child just ask of Me.

I call you forth now from bondage to freedom;
from death to life, and from darkness to light.

Lay Down the Brokeness of Yesterday & Allow God to Mend Your Life with His Love (9.6.15)
My Child,
You are drowning in the waters of sorrow.
The waters of sorrow happen when you begin to look back, and dwell on all you’ve lost. As you continue to dwell on what youʹve lost, the deep waters of sorrow begin to slowly pull you into the realm of depression. These waters of sorrow are dry and will drain the life out of you.
Remember Lot’s wife? Lot and his family were told to escape because their lives were in danger, and not to look back. Lot’s wife couldnʹt let go of what she was leaving behind, and looking back literally took her life. That is when she truly lost everything. If you don’t let go, and stop looking back, eventually the waters of sorrow will do the same to you.
Come out of the past and into the future where there is hope.
It is My desire for Restoration to come upon your life.
However, how can I restore you when you continue
to allow the troubles of yesterday to devour your dreams?
I know all about the pain and sorrow; however,
My Son bore that pain and sorrow when He hung on the cross.
Healing and restoration are available, IF you CHOOSE
to allow Me to be your Redeemer.

Genesis 19:26 - But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
John 7:38 - He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water
Isaiah 14:3 - And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
Revelations 21:4 - And GOD shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Paul prayed for Philemon: I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ - Philemon 1:6

We come to know Him as our Provider, our Rock, our Comforter, our Peace-Giver, our Protector, our Strong Tower, our Deliverer. We learn exactly what Paul wanted Philemon to learn—what he had in Christ.
- GOD Begins to Work Overtime in our Lives.
When we regularly share, thus giving glory to Jesus Christ, I believe that GOD works overtime in our lives. He wants to give us more to share, so that we, in turn, give more glory and fame to His Son.

Allow God to have His Way in Your Life, Lay Your Personal Needs Down and Wait on Your Promises; for They are Already on the Way (9.3.15)
My Child,
You have been in a place of long-suffering
over a one-sided relationship for which
you have earnestly covered in prayer.
I have watched you love and forgive;
then pray and release over and over again.
Precious one, I know of your faithfulness and the battles that you fought to keep things in order. However, isn’t it time for you to release those old relationships to Me, so I can give you something new? I want you to be set free from being held captive to old wounds and pain of the past.
If you allow Me to have My Way in your life, I will position you into a new resting place.
It will be a place that is fit for you and one that will be blessed with healthy relationships.
There’s only one thing that has to be done before I can establish this place in your life, and that is to lay all your personal needs down. Lay all your wants and desires in My Hands. I want to give you something better; something new and exciting. However, you must have Mustard Seed Faith, to let go, and Trust Me to meet those needs.

This time, why don’t you Trust Me to create and design the relationship for you?
Stop looking to man, with expectations that he will supply your needs. Instead, look to Me, the Lord your God, for the answers you so desire; for all that is good and perfect comes from Me. I will bring you out into a place of enlargement that is wonderfully rich in fellowship and loving support.
However, for now, be patient, Child.
Let Me build the relationships that will draw and keep you close to Me.
Can you wait on your Father God to give you what I have already promised you?
That which I had planned for you long ago?
If you do, if you can - you will not be disappointed.
Wait on your promises. They are already on the way.

Psalm 66:12 - Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of GOD in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of GOD by us.
Psalm 27:14 - Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
You have been in a place of long-suffering
over a one-sided relationship for which
you have earnestly covered in prayer.
I have watched you love and forgive;
then pray and release over and over again.
Precious one, I know of your faithfulness and the battles that you fought to keep things in order. However, isn’t it time for you to release those old relationships to Me, so I can give you something new? I want you to be set free from being held captive to old wounds and pain of the past.
If you allow Me to have My Way in your life, I will position you into a new resting place.
It will be a place that is fit for you and one that will be blessed with healthy relationships.
There’s only one thing that has to be done before I can establish this place in your life, and that is to lay all your personal needs down. Lay all your wants and desires in My Hands. I want to give you something better; something new and exciting. However, you must have Mustard Seed Faith, to let go, and Trust Me to meet those needs.

Trust, You are not Alone in the Battle. It is Time to Stand & Say No! (9.2.15)
Beloved,
It is time to Stand and Say, "No!"
to the schemes of the enemy.
I Am with you and I will always protect you.
Stand and Fight the good fight of Faith, and you will prevail.
I Am Jesus your Christ, and I desire
to release an anointing of Victory into your situation.
Therefore, stay focused on Me
and I will lead you into the right direction.
Spend time with Me by reading The Word, daily; so that you can (and will) overcome all obstacles and hindrances that will try to come against you.
Do not, under any circumstances, allow fear to rule in your heart, as you weather the storms; for you are not in this Battle alone. I Am and always will be with you in the battle, to empower you and give you Victory over the enemy.
It is yours for the taking,
all you have to do is stand in Faith,
and you will overcome all obstacles.
I Will cause you to prevail.
You are ordained for victory.
Therefore, keep your eyes on Me, trusting that you are not alone in the battle. As I and the Father are One, know that I will always be by your side - to help you and to lead you to victory as you submit to Me.

John 16:32 - Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

Handling Anger...... Biblically (9.1.15)
Faith Believers,
Anger can become sinful when it is motivated by pride (James 1:20), when it is unproductive and thus distorts GOD's purposes (1 Corinthians 10:31), or when anger is allowed to linger (Ephesians 4:26-27).
One obvious sign that anger has turned to sin is when, instead of attacking the problem at hand, we attack the wrongdoer. Ephesians 4:15-19 says we are to speak the truth in love and use our words to build others up, not allow rotten or destructive words to pour from our lips. Unfortunately, this poisonous speech is a common characteristic of fallen man (Romans 3:13-14). Anger becomes sin when it is allowed to boil over without restraint, resulting in a scenario in which hurt is multiplied (Proverbs 29:11), leaving devastation in its wake.
Often, the consequences of out-of-control anger are irreparable.
Anger also becomes sin when the angry one refuses to be pacified, holds a grudge, or keeps it all inside (Ephesians 4:26-27). This can cause depression and irritability over little things, which are often unrelated to the underlying problem.
We can handle anger Biblically by recognizing and admitting our prideful anger and/or our wrong handling of anger as sin (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 1:9). This confession should be both to GOD and to those who have been hurt by our anger. We should not minimize the sin by excusing it or blame-shifting.
We can handle anger Biblically by seeing GOD in the trial. This is especially important when people have done something to offend us. James 1:2-4, Romans 8:28-29, and Genesis 50:20 all point to the fact that GOD is sovereign over every circumstance and person that crosses our path. Nothing happens to us that He does not cause or allow. Though GOD does allow bad things to happen, He is always faithful to redeem them for the good of His People. GOD is a good GOD (Psalm 145:8, 9, 17). Reflecting on this truth until it moves from our heads to our hearts, will alter how we react to those who hurt us.
We can handle anger Biblically by making room for GOD's wrath. This is especially important in cases of injustice, when "evil" men abuse "innocent" people. Genesis 50:19 and Romans 12:19 both tell us not to "play GOD." GOD is righteous and just, and we can trust Him, who knows all and sees all, to act justly (Genesis 18:25).
We can handle anger Biblically by returning good for evil (Genesis 50:21; Romans 12:21). This is key to converting our anger into love. As our actions flow from our hearts, so also our hearts can be altered by our actions (Matthew 5:43-48). That is, we can change our feelings toward another by changing how we choose to act toward that person.
