Do Not Dwell on It, Let It Go (1.31.13)

Memories of the past have popped up again.

People have told you that you should be over all of this drama but you still feel embarrassment.

The reason these things keep coming up in your mind is that you have not properly dealt with these issues.
I know you have forgiven, but you cant seem to forget. Certain situations trigger these issues in your heart, and then you have to forgive yourself, and those that were involved, all over again.

Don't keep dwelling on it.  When these situations come up, just simply choose to forgive again.  Continue this process over and over until the power of these things will lose its sting, and eventually go away. Then the issues will be only a memory, with no emotional down side.

If you don't forgive and forget, neither will the LORD forgive you for your trespasses.

Then Peter came and said to Him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven." - Matthew 18:21-22

Remember this: There is nothing that you will face today that the Lord can't bring you through.

Thank God for what you have, Trust God for what you need

Four Secrets (1.30.13)

Tell a child you have a secret, and you have his undivided attention.
All of us children, big and little, young and old, love secrets.
We love to hear secrets and we love to tell them. : )

Churches have so many secrets, that they have to hire someone to keep track of them.
They call her a SECRETary. Our church has four.
Today, I am opening the vault and revealing four of the best kept secrets in the Kingdom of God.

SECRET #1 -- GOD HAS BIG PLANS FOR YOU

Jeremiah 29:11 says it best, "I know the plans I have for you: plans for your welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope." His plans for us fall into two categories---earthly and heavenly.

SECRET #2 -- HE IS NOT GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT THEY ARE

In His compassion, God makes big plans for us. In His wisdom, He does not tell us what they are. He protects us from knowledge of the future for two reasons.
  1) We could not handle it.
  2) We would mess it up.

Suppose the Lord told you that one day you would become the President of the United States, living in power and luxury for the rest of your life?  Who could handle news like that without becoming distracted? Scripture promises that the Lord will not put more on us than we can bear. One way He does that, is by withholding details about our future. The burdens would rob us of our joy and threaten to destroy us in advance; while the blessings would distract us from our responsibilities of the moment.

SECRET #3 -- GOD IS WORKING ON HIS PLANS, THIS VERY MOMENT

He is getting you ready for the future and getting the future ready for you.

Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you. If I go away, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also." - John 14:1-6. He is getting Heaven ready for us.  He is getting us ready for Heaven. One way God prepares us for future challenges is by giving us difficulties and hardships. He strengthens us in the same way a personal trainer builds our muscles - by laying on stress.

"It is good for me that I was afflicted," the psalmist said, "that I might learn thy statutes." - Psalm 119:71

SECRET #4 -- YOUR JOB IS TO BE FAITHFUL

Bloom where you are planted, as the saying goes.

The way to be ready for tomorrow's opportunities is to do our job today, no matter how insignificant or routine.

The Weight of the World (1.29.13)

I know you are feeling right now that the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

You are not nearly powerful enough to manage this load.

Stop worrying about things over which you have no power.
You would do well to give your burdens to the Lord.

He takes them from you and leaves you with His peace.

He is Lord of all things great and small.
He is more than able.
He never sleeps so as to make you vulnerable to the enemy, not even for a moment.
He said He would never leave you nor forsake you.

He is trustworthy. When you have committed yourself fully and completely to Him, He returns that commitment with a covenant.  All He has is yours, when all you have becomes His.

The weight of the world is not on your shoulders.

Psalms 55:22 (ESV) - Cast your burden on the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Remember this:  There is nothing that you will face today that the Lord can't bring you through.

Thank God for what you have, Trust God for what you need.

Faith, Humility, Grace and Blessings (1.28.13)

Our faith in Christ should not be bragged upon or be full of pride.

Our faith should be a source of comfort and service to others.

Choosing to follow Christ will not make you better than other people, just better off, because you have a Father who will be forever present and love you with a radical love that extends beyond all understanding.

We are blessed by the gift of GOD's love, and we should receive it with humility and grace.
All that you are, to include your gifts and talents, were given to you from the LORD.
You have done nothing on your own. GOD also reserve the right to take everything He has given you back when He feels like it, because all things on this earth belong to Him.

Give GOD thanks this day for the blessings He has bestowed upon your life, whether big or small, and remember that He had a choice but He chose to bless you because He loves you!

It Is Only a Test (1.27.13)

A great test of your faith is drawing near.

You will be expected to do the right thing even though it might be against your will.
I will bless those whom you bless.

Consequently, even your enemies will prosper and multiply because of your prayers and blessings.

Those who walk in darkness, do so as if they are blind.
In fact, they are blind to the truth of revelation concerning My love for them.

I have chosen you for this hour.
Your faith will be extended beyond your own understanding,
because I will work through you, manifesting Myself in this situation.

Again, there will be no lack of faith on your part.
This test of faith will separate you from the ordinary.
You will pass this test with excellence and I will richly bless you.

I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

It is only a test.

Protecting Our Families with Prayer (1.26.13)

In the times we live in today, praying together as a family is very important.

The enemy is out to destroy families any way he can.
The only thing the enemy will respect is the Word of God.

Praying to GOD everyday for the protection of your loved ones should come as natural as putting on your clothes everyday. Let us keep praying and pray without ceasing. GOD is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think - Ephesians 3:20.

Ask the Lord to cover your children in the Blood Of Jesus and to keep them safe and sound from all harm. The enemy is attacking schools to put fear in the heart of parents, but when you pray, and especially together as a family, he will flee!!!!

Pray over your family today asking the Lord to send his angels to encamp around your household!
The Lord loves to answer prayers and petitions that are appended with many signatures.

Let us pray without ceasing.

'Get Ready! Go!' Do You Pray to Start Your Day? (1.25.13)

As soon as our eyes open in the morning we're often in a rush.
Get ready!
Go!

And we're off to work, school or tackling the tasks we have to accomplish for the day.

As soon as our feet hit the floor we should get on our knees to start our day off with prayer,  preparing us for what the day might bring.

When we pray first thing in the morning we allow GOD to enter our mind and soul before anything else does.

Begin the day with seeking GOD's wisdom and blessings.

GOD will manifest himself to you, not as a taskmaster, but as a loving presence who will give you strength for the day.

Your prayer could even be a short prayer, just as long as you spend time with Him first.  Acknowledging Him first thing in the morning shows your gratitude to Him for allowing you to wake up this morning, because even waking up in the morning is a blessing from GOD. Some people did not wake up this morning.

Praying to the Father first thing every morning will set the tone for your day as well!

Pray today that GOD will give you wisdom in the words you speak to others,
in the thoughts you think of others and in the choices you make today.

Have a blessed day in the LORD!

All Who are Weak & Weary, Come to Me (1.24.13)

When you find yourself weak and weary, come unto Me and lay all that troubles you at My feet.

I shall lift the heaviness - then restore, strengthen, and heal you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
You say that you believe in God, but you must truly believe in Me.
Come to Me now and release all that is weighing so heavily on your mind.
All good and perfect gifts are sent from My hands, and I shall withhold nothing good from you.
All you have to do is ask.

I want you to understand Me so much better so that I can share heavenly treasures with you. Come closer and let Me refresh you.
Why worry when I am in your presence?
Have faith in Me, trust Me to deliver you.
I will bring peace in the midst of the storm.
I am the beginning and the end!

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for always being with me, and being my strength when I am weak.
You are my Rock when I need a place to lay my weary head.
I thank you Lord for staying close to me and drawing me close to you, and pouring a fresh anointing over my life when it’s needed the most.
Oh bless your Holy name Father for You are more than worthy to be praised!
Amen

Be Quiet, Sit Still, He will Direct Your Path (1.23.13)

Many times we struggle with situations unnecessarily when we should be quiet and listen to GOD.

Why do we think we should always engage ourselves in every situation around us?

When we do this, it becomes very difficult to discern the times and seasons revealed to us through the Holy Spirit.  GOD said if you would just come before me and humble yourselves and be still; then I will reveal many things to you.  Often times the LORD answers our prayers, but we are too busy to spend time with Him in prayer to hear what He is saying.

Yes, we struggle within our own minds, giving place to the enemy. We are continually warring with the enemy of our souls, and with our own thoughts. The Lord wants us to take every thought captive, and bring everything into obedience to the Word of GOD.

When we fail to do this the enemy has the green light to ambush our mind and thought-patterns; causing us to doubt GOD's word by trying to take matters into our own hands. With all of that said, commit to spending some time with the LORD on a daily basis so you can hear from Him.

He will direct your path.

One True Power, One True Trust (1.22.13)

The only true power in this world is the power of GOD,
and our fate will not be decided by men and women,
but by GOD and Him alone.

We were created for eternity,
and so we do not need to fear decisions made by corrupt human beings.

GOD's Word tell us to never put trust or faith in man,
but in Him only!

Our trust should be in the Lord of all creation,
and in Him there is never a reason to fear or doubt.

Stay Calm, Look Up & Wait for My Direction (1.21.13)

Beloved,
Refuse to allow the little things to get you down.
Just when you think you have it all figured out, you can expect another opportunity to deal with and overcome frustration.
Stay calm and face each new challenge with patience, an open mind and an open heart, for you will certainly need My guidance and wisdom.
Use these opportunities to abide in My strength and to allow Me to do what you cannot do.

When you hit a temporary dead end, look up and wait for My direction.
I will do a new thing in your life.  Make a way where there seems to be no way, and lead you when you take the time to pray and seek My face.
You will be able to look back at this time and know that My grace is sufficient for every situation.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
  - Isaiah 43:19

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
  - 2 Corinthians 12:9

A Prayer of Thanks (1.20.13)

Heavenly Father,
Thank You Lord for waking me up this morning.

Give me peace in my soul as you take away the unforgiveness and doubt,
that I sometimes harbor in my heart.

Thank You for breathing upon my situation and bringing peace in the midst of my storm.
Father,  forgive me for ever doubting or worrying about any situation,
because I know Lord, that You will never leave me nor forsake me.

You promised to never turn Your face from me, regardless of how badly I sin.
When I sin against you and repent,
You promise to forgive me and never remember my wrong doings anymore.

Thank You for always caring for me Lord.
As this day unfolds, I pray that You will send the Holy Spirit to me,
so that I can have peace while resting in You.

I pray this prayer to You with thanksgiving and praise.

Amen

I Cannot Pray, if... (1.18.13)

I cannot pray "OUR",
if my faith has no room for Others and their needs.

I cannot pray "FATHER",
if I do not demonstrate this relationship to God in my daily living.

I cannot pray "WHO ART IN HEAVEN",
if all of my interests and pursuits are in earthly things.

I cannot pray "HALLOWED BE THY NAME",
if I am not striving for GOD's help to be like Him on a daily basis.

I cannot pray "THY KINGDOM COME",
if I am unwilling to accept GOD's destiny for my life.

I cannot pray "THY WILL BE DONE",
if I am unwilling or resentful of letting His will be done in my life.

I cannot pray "ON EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN",
unless I am truly ready to perform GOD's Word on a daily basis.

I cannot pray "GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD",
without putting forth an honest effort to receive (on a daily basis)

your mercies, wisdom and blessings.

I cannot pray "FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THOSE
WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US",
if I continue to harbor a grudge against anyone.

I cannot pray "LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION",
if I deliberately choose to remain in a situation where I am likely to be tempted.

I cannot pray "DELIVER US FROM EVIL",
if I am not prepared to fight with my life against the enemy through prayer and the Word of GOD.

I cannot pray "THINE IS THE KINGDOM",
if I am unwilling to obey the King.

I cannot pray "THINE IS THE POWER AND THE GLORY",
if I am seeking power for myself and my own glory first.

I cannot pray "FOREVER AND EVER",
if I am too anxious about what each day will bring.

I cannot pray "AMEN",
unless I honestly say,
"Not MY will, but THY will be done",
so let it be.

Let It Go!!!! from Bishop TD Jakes (1.17.13)

The message below was preached by Bishop TD Jakes.
It was a blessing to me and I hope it will be a blessing to you.
--------

There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this. When people can walk away from you, let them walk.

I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. The Bible says that, "They came out from us, that it might be made manifest, that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. " - 1 John 2:19

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay. Let them go. And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person, it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when a person's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead.

You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye.  It's the tenth spiritual gift.  I believe in good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it.

Stop begging people to stay...LET THEM GO!!!

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you, and was never intended for your life, then you need to...LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains...LET IT GO!!!

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth...LET IT GO!!!

If someone has angered you...LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge...LET IT GO!!!

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction...LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents...LET IT GO!!!

If you have a bad attitude...LET IT GO!!!

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better...LET IT GO!!!

If you're stuck in the past, and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him...LET IT GO!!!

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship...LET IT GO!!!

If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves...LET IT GO!!!

If you're feeling depressed and stressed ...LET IT GO!!!

If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself, and God is saying,
"Take your hands off of it," then you need to...LET IT GO!!!

Let the past be the past. Forget the former things.
GOD is doing a new thing and it's time to release and let go of the old...LET IT GO!!!
Get Right or Get Left...think about it, and then LET IT GO!!!
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.

LET IT GO

A Morning Prayer of Clarity (1.16.13)

Heavenly Father,
I come to you in Jesus Christ's Holy Name this morning,
I ask you Lord, according to John 14:13-14, to bless everyone that comes into my presence today.

Father, give them insight, understanding and clarity on who You are.

Help them to come to know You, and hear Your voice when You speak.
Send Angelic covering and protection to them, this day, Father.

Bless them abundantly this day. Pressed down, shaken and running over 30, 60, 100-fold spiritually and naturally - with long life, divine healing and restoration. As I come to you Lord, and humble myself before you, I ask that you clear my mind of any preconceived thoughts, confusion or deception.
I ask You Lord to block anything that is not of You, and that I hear Your voice, and only Your voice.

Father, your Word said for us to bless each other, and I pray in the matchless name of Jesus that You will bless every person that I come in contact with today.

I pray this prayer in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.

Amen

Shine as a Light in this World (1.15.13)

There are an awful lot of people in this world who will not understand our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

They will ridicule us, persecute us, and turn us aside.
That should not justify you hiding your faith.

We are to shine as a light in this world. If we are proud of our faith, we will find that GOD will give us special strength to stand up in the face of ridicule. Have you ever been called a "Jesus freak" or "Bible thumper"?

From looking at the alarming, bizarre things happening in this world (on a daily basis), some will wish they had something to thump with Jesus' name on it. In the arms of the LORD will be the only place to find peace and refuge. As the Scripture says, "If we are proud of the Father, He will be proud of us. If we are ashamed of Him, then Christ will also be ashamed of us."

Lord,
You are the brightest light shining in my life.
Help me to reflect Your light into all that I do and say.
Let everything I do and say reflect You and Your character.
Help me to love my neighbor as myself, the way Your Word says to do.
Father help me to realize that You see everything I say, do and think in my heart;
even if I don't speak it audibly.
There is never anything I will inform You of,
because You are forever present.
Strengthen me, and mold me, to be like you Father.

Amen

Be Humble, Be Still and Know He Is God (1.14.13)

Have you noticed how many times in the Bible the disciples tried to correct the Lord?

Have you noticed how many times they argued with the Lord?

Take notice how many times the disciples thoughts contradicted the Masters.

They urged Him to take action many times, but the Lord, ever patient, corrected them. Sometimes they forgot that He is Lord, and they are the disciples.

We must never get the roles confused.
He is the Master, and we are his servants. We do not command Him, He commands us.
We do not direct Him, He directs us. We do not lead Him, He leads us.
He was not created for us, we were created for Him.
He does not serve us according to our pleasure, we serve Him according to His pleasure.

So we must adjust to Him, and not the other way around.
The Lord will never apologize to us and say, "I was wrong. We'll do it your way the next time".
How laughable is that to say the least!!!

We must humble ourselves before the Lord, be still and know he is GOD!!

Live as a Victor in His Name (1.13.13)

When we find ourselves engaged in daily spiritual warfare, it is vital that we remember we have an ally who is greater than anyone who might oppose us or wish to make us unhappy.

Jesus Christ became a victor over everything this world could throw at Him, even until death itself.

If we will give Him control of our hearts, He will be true to us and grant us victory in the struggles we face. Remember Jesus Christ has all power over every situation. He can undo anything the enemy cooks up!!!

Just when satan thought he had defeated you and while his little cheerleaders are standing on the sidelines, basking in what they thought was your end, Jehovah Shammah will show up and crush their spirits by hugely blessing you, in spite of it all!!!!

GOD has made you a conqueror through his Son Jesus Christ.

Ask the Lord on a daily basis to help you live as a victor in His name and by the power of His blood.

He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, of all things!!!!!

In the Face of Our Strongest Temptations.... (1.12.13)

GOD gives us reasons to say no when we are tempted to sin.

Sometimes we are too weak to say no to our friends, because we become very concerned of what they will think of us. We should learn to say no to things that are not of Him.
So many people will try to lead you from the path that GOD has destined for you, many of them unintentionally. When this happens, ask the Lord for guidance.
In the face of our strongest temptations, GOD will give us the strength and the reason to resist.

Start praying to GOD when you find yourself in a terrible situation that you don't want to be in.
Ask GOD to help you resist those things that you know displeases Him.

Ask GOD to send the Holy Spirit to guide you onto His rightful path, and when you do this, He will show you the way out.

God's Presence Everyday (1.11.13)

GOD is present each and everyday in our lives.  He is omnipotent!!!

The Lord hears and sees everything we do, every second of our lives.
There is no deed, good or bad, that He does not see or know about.
The Bible says that everyone will stand before the Father and answer for all of their actions.
Many people don't believe in GOD, finding anything that references Him amusing.

Surely there will come a day when all of the laughter and jokes will stop.
The Bible says every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
whether you believe in Him or not!!!!
Choose this day whom you will serve and be very mindful of your deeds towards others,
because you will surely see them again.

Love everyone the way the Lord has loved you, and do good to all,
for our Father sees everything and will surely repay accordingly.

Father, Help Me (1.10.13)

Father,
Thank you for sending Jesus to be the true vine,
which nourishes and gives life to the branches, which are your people.

Help me to confess moments when I've tried to sever my relationship with Jesus in some way.
Help me to commit myself to welcoming God’s pruning in my life, despite the pain it might bring.
Father I ask that you use me to become more fruitful for your kingdom as I live for you.

Let my fruit-bearing be attractive to unsaved people.
Father none of us know when our last day on this earth will be,
so I pray that you will give me the wisdom to share your word so none will perish.
My prayer Father, is that they will “taste of your fruit and see that the LORD is good” - Psalms 34:8.

This prayer I pray to you, in the name of Jehovah.

Amen

GOD rules the world,
through the prayers of his people

My Child, You are ALWAYS Loved (1.9.13)

Child of Mine -
Don't be discouraged in those times when it feels like I am very far away.
Refuse to allow difficulties to outweigh your sense of victory.
You must not give in to self-pity or feeling like a victim. I want you to know that I am with you always, even when you cannot sense My nearness. And just as I promised, I will never abandon you. I am every bit your loving Father, even when you don't feel that you are at your best spiritually. I do not reject you during those times, and I do not throw you away.

Dear Child,
I want you to know that you are just as loved when you feel distant from Me, as you are when we are in the deepest of fellowship and intimacy. The fact remains that you are My own dear child, no matter what your feelings tell you. I am a loving Father and I am good, and I do not reject My own, simply because they are going through a rough time. It doesn't matter whether or not you feel loved. My love for you will not fail. It doesn't matter whether or not you think that are at your best spiritually, I will not abandon you or push you away.

Begin to praise and pray in your heavenly prayer language, and it shall elevate you above the furnace of affliction. Ask Me daily for that freshness of My Spirit to arise in you and you shall know freedom, as the bubbling of My Spirit arises in your heart.

Trust in Me.

Do not back up, do not bow down to the enemy, but RISE UP, STAND, WALK and put your life in My hands and you will see what I will yet, do in you.

You know no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for I am with you and I will bring you through to higher ground. I am bigger than any obstacle that may come across your paths. I have given you authority and boldness to speak to the mountains and defeat the giants in your life. Yes, you have victory in Me, for I have begun a good work in you, and I will finish it. Say no to the tricks and schemes of the enemy and declare war!

Stand and walk in faith, knowing that I will bring you through, no matter the trials.

Now lift up your heart unto Me and worship Me. Rise up in the strength I have provided to overcome, and I shall deliver you. Yes, I shall deliver you and you shall come out of your troubles like pure gold. Worship Me and you will see that the plans the enemy has brought about for evil, will work for your good.

I will have the last Word in your life.

Genesis 50:20a - But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass

Psalms 70:5 - But I am poor and needy; Make haste to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay

Isaiah 54:17a - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you

There is nothing you will face today that the Lord can't see you through.

Have a Jesus filled day.

Thank God for What You Have, Trust God for What You Need (1.8.13)

Watch and be amazed as I create opportunities for you to resolve both short-term and long-term issues in your life. These occasions will open the way for extraordinary progression in the natural and spiritual realms. Yield yourself completely to this process, for it will release you into greater freedom than you have ever experienced.

You may even realize that holding on to the past has been a place of false security and bondage.  Let go and move with the flow of My Spirit, says the Lord.

For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
 - Romans 8:20-23

Remember this: There is nothing that you will face today that the Lord can't bring you through.

Thank God for what you have, Trust God for what you need

A Prayer Partner (1.7.13)

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them - Matthew 18:19-20

Find a prayer partner and always pray together, you are stronger as two or more.

You will become one in Me.
Demons flee when you pray together.
The Angels rejoice when you pray.

Pray one for another, keep each other high and lifted up.
Pray and bear each others burdens.
When the Lord gives you a prayer partner, He gives them to you for a reason.

Together you can unlock many doors, together you can call upon the Lord and He will move.
He will be in the midst of your prayers.

He will make intercessions for you.

All you have to do is touch and agree, to see it come to pass.
Spend time daily in prayer with the LORD.

Stand Tall & Walk Straight in this New Season (1.6.13)

What's done is done.

You can't change the past, but you can make a decision to let go of all that will hinder your walk of faith. Establish yourself in strong faith through hearing the Word.

Stand tall and walk straight in this new season. I have rewards for you along the path that you will discover. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find. The new path for this new season is worth your finding; like searching for a precious pearl, set your eyes upon it.

Lock in on that new direction and commit your heart to remain on that path. Many people and many distractions will try to divert you. Refuse them; cast away all distractions so that you can move forward in My perfect will.

Focus your eyes on what I am saying and doing. This will keep you in the center of My will, unlocking My blessings that I've saved up for you. Move forward with renewed hope and confidence, knowing that I am with you all the way.

Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.  Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path - Proverbs 4:25-26 (NLT)

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God - Romans 10:17

There is nothing you will face today,
that the Lord can't see you through

A Spirit of Wisdom & Understanding (1.5.13)

Lion of Judah,
How I desperately need the power of Your Holy Spirit in my life today.
I have tried to do Your work in my own strength and power, and have failed.
I need You! Help me to embrace the work of the Holy Spirit in my life.
Lord, I long to see the kind of response that occurred on the Day of Pentecost.
May I turn from human methods and techniques, by committing to seek You in Your power and glory.

Come Holy Spirit!

  • Pray Daniel’s words of praise: “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his” - Daniel 2:20.
  • Thank God for guiding you to make wise choices in life.
  • Confess times when you chose to follow the foolishness of this world’s wisdom rather than the wisdom of God.
  • Commit yourself to seeking the “Spirit of wisdom and of understanding” - Isaiah 11:2.

  • Ask God to give to you the “wisdom that comes from heaven”.
  • Pray for the ability to keep your testimony simple and genuine as you cross paths with people who are trying to understand the things of God.

THIS DAY (1.4.13)

I felt the need to share this again.....
-----

As I was thanking the Lord this morning for this day.
He began to let me know how blessed we are to be alive THIS DAY.
Whether you feel it, or believe it, you are blessed to be in THIS DAY.

This is a day that you have never seen before, this is a day of rejoicing,
a day for giving thanks, this is a day for recognizing and knowing that Jesus loves you,
if He didn't you would be lost, and you wouldn't be reading THIS DAY!

This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice, I will be glad,
This day, I will not let the enemy rob me of my joy,
This day, I will use the Word of God against every attack from the enemy,
This day, every trap the enemy sets for me will backfire on him and work out for my good,
This day, no weapon formed against me will prosper,
and every tongue that rises up against me shall be condemned,
THIS IS MY DAY!

This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice, I will be glad,
This day, I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
This day, the enemy will not rob me of the will of God for my life,
This day, I will lift up the shield of faith against all the fiery darts of the enemy,
This day, in the name of Jesus, satan is rendered helpless, powerless and ineffective against me,
THIS IS MY DAY!

This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice, I will be glad,
This day, I recognize by faith that all wicked spirits and satan himself are under my feet.
This day, I will fear no evil, for the Lord is with me, His Rod and His Staff comforts me,
This day, when the enemy comes against me one way,
the Holy Spirit will force him to flee from me seven different ways,
This day, I will walk in the authority Christ Jesus has given to me,
THIS IS MY DAY!

This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice, I will be glad,
This day, I shall not want because the Lord has given me my daily bread,
This day, the Lord has supplied all my needs according to His riches, in Glory, by Christ Jesus,
This day, I will wait on the Lord, I will be encouraged, and He will strengthen my heart,
This is the day the Lord has made, He gave it to me and I won't let satan have it!
Lord, I thank you for THIS DAY!
THIS IS MY DAY!

NOW WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR DAY!!?!?!!

Give Thanks, Channel Grace (1.3.13)

Praise God for His matchless grace that he gives to each of us.

Give thanks, that His grace is sufficient for each of us, in every situation. Confess any "do-it-yourself efforts", in which you have rejected God’s grace and tried to go it alone. Commit yourself to being a channel of that grace to others. In prayer, ask that God will meet your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19) and that his grace will be poured out abundantly to you.

Lift up the names of your loved ones, asking that the Lord’s strength and wisdom will come to full maturity in each and every one of them as they learn to rely on Him for all things.

“Our business in prayer is not to prescribe, but to subscribe to the wisdom and will of God; to refer our case to Him, and then leave it with Him.”

Perfect Forgiveness (1.2.13)

We all know people who say they have forgiven us for hurting them but their forgiveness is only verbal.
They still resent and have anger in their heart towards you for what you did.

They hold on to it and will still mention it to whoever will listen to them, which creates a wall between them and the person who has sought their forgiveness. But GOD’s forgiveness is perfect, there are no walls between you and Him because He refuses to remember your sins after you ask for forgiveness. You have a clear record, for when you repented, He placed your sins in the Sea of Forgetfulness, and forgave you completely.

As the Lord has forgiven you, so must you forgive others. Hear what the Lord is saying to us this day,
"This is a time of breakthrough for those who will leave the past behind and extend mercy to those who have used you, abused you or been unkind in any way. I am calling to you, My people, to forgive with a heart of generosity. If you hear My call, and do as I ask, you will have peace with liberality; nothing held back. Let go of all unforgiveness that's holding you down," says the Lord.

Mark 11:25-26 - And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Hebrews 8:12 - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and lawless deeds will I remember no more.

Hebrews 10:17 - And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (KJV)

Give Praise and Thanks (1.1.13)

Praise God for his creativity.

Give glory for the unending variety exhibited in his creation.

Thank God for the wonderful way you have been made and for your unique personality, gifts, and talents. Confess any dissatisfaction you have had with the way you have been created. Commit yourself to serving God with your gifts and talents.

Ask that God may reveal your spiritual gifts to you and give you opportunity to use them for Him.

Pray that the gospel may reach, touch, and renew the hearts and minds of people without hope, within our families and communities, so that there may be a great harvest of souls brought into the church and into the kingdom of God.
