The Lord's Favor is Upon Our Lives (11.29.13)

Beloved,
I see every concern before it is ever formed as a thought.
I know your heart's desire.

You still listen to the whispers of the enemy before relying upon Me and you continue to try and do things your way, carrying them upon your shoulders. I carried the cross, the weight of the world, upon My shoulders.  Surely I can carry this for you for I change not.  I am the same yesterday, today and forever.

Allow Me to be in control.
Let go and trust Me.

See if I will not open doors that have long since been locked. You cannot even imagine the lengths that I will go for you. My hand is not shortened in any circumstance. Surely these are small things for Me, so allow Me to carry it.  Then wait patiently for Me to give you the desires of your heart.

Allow Me to hold you, guide you and continue to shape you into My vessel.

Know that My favor is upon your life.

1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you

Remembering to Say Thanks (11.28.13)

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! - Psalm 107:8

In the Old Testament, there is an interesting story about King Jehoshaphat and how he took an uncommon approach when his enemies waged war against him.

Instead of sending in his army first, he sent the choir and musicians.  Imagine the scene, “All right guys, here’s the plan today. An army is out there, armed to the teeth. So we are sending in the choir and the musicians...”  If I had been a choir member or musician, I might have wondered whether the king liked our music. But GOD directed Jehoshaphat in this unusual battle tactic. The Bible says that Jehoshaphat directed the people to sing to the Lord, praising the beauty of holiness, and to approach the army singing, “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever” (2 Chronicles 20:21).

So that is exactly what they did. The Bible tells us that when they began to sing and praise, GOD sent an ambush against their enemy, and they were destroyed. GOD’s people went into this situation giving thanks, because they knew He was in control.

When we ask GOD for new blessings,
we should never forget to thank Him for the blessings
He has already given to us.

Have you recently asked GOD for help and He came through for you?
Did you go back to Him and say “Thank You”?

How many times have we prayed for something, GOD answered and we never went back to GOD to thank Him for answering our prayers? Too often, we never thank Him. Can you imagine how that make GOD feel? GOD is an awesome GOD and even when we forget to thank Him for all His wonderful blessings, He continues to bless us, in spite of.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving today with our loved ones, let us not forget all that we have (homes, jobs, family, children, friends, etc.) are gifts and blessings from GOD.

Let us not forget Him today. Thank Him and praise Him today for His mercy endures forever!!!

Wishing you and yours a blessed & happy Thanksgiving,

- Marilyn Chaney

Our Responses & Behaviors are Reflections of Our Faith (11.27.13)

Have you ever gotten up early and had a sweet time with the LORD,
only to turn into an unreasonable, raging "screamer" hours later?

Have you ever had an argument with your spouse or kids on the way to church,
only to cross the threshold of the lobby with blessings & kindness on your tongue?

Have you ever driven in traffic,
with worship music on and praise on your lips
when suddenly, someone cuts you off
and the praises on your tongue turn to cursing?

If you've answered "yes" to any of these questions, welcome to the Sinner's Club. All humans have an automatic membership that activates at birth and is irrevocable until we accept forgiveness through Jesus Christ, and see His face on the other side of glory.

The Bible calls us to a higher, more consistent way of living. We must be careful not to praise and curse with the same tongue. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in GOD's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. It is written in the Word of GOD that you must not do this.  (See James 3:9-10 (NIV))

Are you swinging the pendulum of your responses,
or are they swinging you?
We are accountable for our behavior.
We are accountable for the way we respond to circumstances.
Our responses reflect the core of who we are.

They reflect our faith … good or bad.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come - 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

God is a Master Planner! (11.25.13)

GOD is a Master Planner!

He wants us to know this.  He stands ready to guide us to, and through, the plan He has created for our lives. The more time we spend with the 'Master Planner' who created heaven and earth, the more we should choose to obey His plan.

GOD always reveals His plan to an obedient heart. When we plan things and leave Him out of the equation, He still waits for us. When the results turn out to be disastrous, He stands ready to start over with us. We could save ourselves a lot of pain and futility if we simply read, follow, trust and obey the Word Of GOD.

Let Us Pray
Father,
I want to thank You for loving me
and for creating me in response to
Your Master Plan for this world.

Forgive me when I try to do things in my own strength
and in my own way.
Help me to seek and learn Your ways.
Help me to embrace and trust in the plans you have for my life.
I know that you are too wise to make a mistake,
therefore I will trust in you.

In Jesus' name,

Amen

Hold onto Your Hope, Darkness Lasts But a Moment (11.24.13)

When a dark cloud gathers, it casts a shadow
and everything seems dark just for a moment.

However, that dark cloud cannot remain forever.

A time must come when it will open up and reveal the sun,
which was always there.

My child,
The enemy often sends dark clouds in your life to try and block out what I am doing, but that does not mean that I have forsaken you.  Just like the sun behind the cloud, I am always there.

The enemy will cast his cloud to bring darkness into your life,
to make you feel as if I have forsaken you.
And you for a moment might feel distant from me,
but don’t be afraid when this happens.

Don't give the enemy any glory, just hold onto hope and trust in Me. Because just as a dark cloud only last for so long, then it dissipates, so will the enemy. The enemy has very few resources and they are resources that you give him access to. So when you start speaking faith over your life and decreeing My word, you cut off his resources, causing him to flee.  he can't stay around when you lift up My name.

My child, hold on to Me this day.

Hold onto your faith,

press on with hope
knowing that I am right there with you.

Soon you will see that dark cloud disappear and the sun shine again.
Then you will feel the warmth of My presence
and your peace will return.
Hold onto your hope
and you will see that the darkness lasts but for a moment,
but My love and mercy are forever.

-------
Isaiah 54:7-8 - For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

2 Corinthians 4:17 - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory

A Marriage Prayer of Strength (11.22.13)

This prayer is for those of you who are married.
Marriage is not always easy.
Sometimes frustration sets in and couples end up hurting
the one you've committed to love
through hurtful words or deeds.

- Prayer -

Lord,
Oh how easy it is to see my spouse's flaws and ignore my own.

Help me to use my words to plant seeds of love and encouragement
and not weeds of bitterness and discouragement.

I commit this very day to not use my words to tear my spouse down,
but only to build him/ her up.

Help me to be like Job in the Bible
and put my hand over my mouth
if any negative words attempt to escape my lips (Job 40:4).

Father, I know once negative hurtful words leave my lips,
they can never be retrieved.

The tongue is the smallest member of my body
but yet the deadliest.
Help me Lord to put a guard over my mouth.
Your Word states that one day I will stand before you
and give an account for every word that I speak, be it good or bad.

Help me Lord to speak love and peace over my spouse
because Father you did not create any person to be perfect.
Give me the strength to humble myself and apologize
when I have hurt and/or disrespected my spouse with hurtful words.

In Jesus' Name I pray,
Amen

Jesus' Love is Everlasting (11.21.13)

Beloved,
I love you, and I do care about you.

I know there’s so much going on in your life that you feel as though I don’t love you, that I don’t care about what you’re going through, and that I’ve forgotten about you. You know in your heart that isn’t true. I love you with the same love that My Father has for you, for He loves you so much that He gave His only Begotten Son, Me. My Father and I are one. I love you so much that I hung, bled, and died for you, and all I ask is that you believe in Me so that you can have eternal life.

My love for you is unconditional.  It doesn’t change and I don’t change. So I have to ask you, “Do you love Me unconditionally, or do you love Me only when things are going well for you?” That is how the world treats Me. You are not of the world.  I chose you, I delivered you, I called you to be My own. So why do you doubt My love for you? Why do you doubt that I will provide for you? Haven’t I always come through? Haven’t I always kept you safe from dangers, seen and unseen?

Yes, you will have good days, and you will have bad days, but don’t allow the circumstances or the situation of your day dictate your love for Me. For I will never allow the things that you do to affect My love for you. I changeth not. My love for you is everlasting. Although you can’t see things changing, trust Me when I say that all is well. And I want you to love Me with all your heart and know that I love you so much.

Spend time with Me in My Word and you will see how much I love you. Come and fellowship with Me.  My love will comfort you and you won’t ever doubt My love again.
------
Malachi 3:6 - For I am the LORD, I change not;

John 3:16 - For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 15:19 - If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Matthew 22:37 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Prayer Starts with God (11.20.13)

The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with GOD’s will - Romans 8:26-27

For years I believed that my prayers started with me.
That I had to think them up. That I had to get GOD’s attention.
Not surprisingly, with this frame of mind, prayer was often a chore.
And then I learned that I was wrong.

Prayer doesn’t start with us.
Prayer starts with GOD
That revelation changed my prayer life. GOD is the initiator. He moves us to pray. He gives us prayer ideas. He holds out the promises we claim in prayer. When we pray, we are GOD’s instruments.

GOD is at work in all our praying.
He makes His will known to us, so that we will ask for the very things He longs to give us.

Out of love, He expects us to pray for others; so that, in response to our intercession, he can pour out blessings on them. And it’s the Spirit, says Paul, who makes our prayer possible.

We don’t know what to pray, but we don’t have to.
The Spirit is there revealing GOD’s will to us in the Scriptures and bringing GOD’s prayer concerns to life within us. The Spirit is nudging us through circumstances and opening our eyes to the needs around us. Spirit searches our hearts and tries our ways, so that we can be brought to true repentance.  Revealing the glory and the goodness of GOD so that our prayers will be filled with praise and thanks.

- Prayer -

Lord GOD,
What an amazing and awesome privilege it is to know
that You have made a way for all of my prayers to originate in Your heart,
so that they are heard and answered.

Thank You that I am able to have access to the throne room of heaven,
because of the gift of Jesus Christ.
Help me to be continually aware of the prayer
You place upon my heart,
so that I can be a faithful kingdom intercessor.

Teach me to listen carefully to the voice of Your Spirit,
so that I am always ready to accept each prayer assignment
You are pleased to give me!
I worship You, King of kings,
for loving me so much that
You desire to partner with me
to accomplish Your purposes!

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Bless the Lord at All Times (11.19.13)

I will bless the Lord at all times.
This should be your thought no matter what happens in life. Whenever faced with a trial or test, praise should be your first step. Yes, before you cry out in distress, let a praise of thanksgiving rise up to the heavens.

Do this always.

Even in the most difficult circumstances, take time to search for the smallest thing to be grateful for, and begin to praise God. When praises come forth from your lips, you begin to defeat the enemy. You send the enemy fleeing from your presence, and open a line of communication between you and the Lord. Then you will find that God will do His part and blessings will begin to flow.

Oh what joy you bring to the Lord's heart when you overcome the enemy with praises to Him. Take time to delight yourself in God and watch the desires of your heart come forth. Take the time to search for joy everyday of your life. Hunt for it like hidden treasure.

Right now, enter into a spirit of praise and thanksgiving,
in the midst of what you’re going through,
and destroy the works of the enemy.

Oh, bless His name at all times.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord and watch Him deliver you from all your fears.

----
Psalm 34:1-4 - I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 37:4 - Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

A Prayer for Family (11.18.13)

Father,
I want to please You by the way I love my family.

Today, I choose to see each family member through your eyes
of love and mercy.

I will wage peace in my family.
I will be quick to forgive and slow to condemn.
I will encourage my family members with my words,
my prayers, my love and my time.

I want my home to be a safe place filled with kindness and compassion,
a place that illustrates Your presence and power.

Today, I choose to trust my family to GOD.

In Jesus' name,
Amen

If You Are Going to Succeed, You Must Endure to the End - Quitting is Not an Option (11.17.13)

One of the easiest things for any of us to do,
when it seems like nothing is "going our way",
is for us to just give up and QUIT.
That's right just "throw up our hands" and walk away.
At the time, it seems to be the easiest way out.
And all the while we tell ourselves, "It is the right thing to do.
I have all the reason in the world to quit. I'm justified in my actions."

The enemy of our soul will be there, ever ready to pat us on the back and "console" us with, "You have a good excuse to quit. There are already enough hypocrites in the world. You don't want to be one, too!"

Or he will say, "Look at all those prospering around you.  They aren't living right, but they are not suffering and distraught like you are, so you must be doing something wrong. You've tried and tried, and just cannot live up to the standards set before you. Just give it up, so you can have some peace."

The one thing "giving up" will NOT give you is peace.
The decision to "quit" or "give up" will gnaw at you
and haunt you for many long years to come.
You will be plagued with "what might have been."

Certainly there are times in our lives when we've truly fought a good fight;
but still did not achieve what we thought we should have.

When you know you have done all you can,
then STAND on what GOD has promised.

Nearly all of us have seen someone training for a race.
One does not simply "walk off the street" and start competing in marathons.
It takes years and years of dedicated commitment to train the mind and body for such a trial of endurance. Yet such events are earthly, and there can only be one winner.

Our spiritual race is one in which we are running for an incorruptible prize
and it is not limited to only ONE winner.

If you quit you will not have a chance to win.
If you are going to succeed, you must ENDURE to the END.

The Bible says, 'And let us not be weary in well doing.  For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.'  Paul wanted those he was addressing, in his letter to the Galatians, to know he realized the struggles they would face; and that chances are they might even become tired of "living right".  However, he wanted to encourage them to "keep on keeping on" for GOD, because in due season the LORD promised, 'If you faint not, you will reap a spiritual blessing that will far exceed your expectations.'

Wishing you a blessed Sunday,

You Have Run Hard & Accomplished Much, Now Come Rest in My Presence (11.15.13)

My Child,
You have learned a lot and you have a lot,
but now it is time to rest in My presence.

You've gone through some pretty hard times,
thinking, 'There is no way the Lord has allowed this to happen to me.'

When the trials came, you wondered to yourself,
'What in the world was I doing?'
Nevertheless, you chose to trust Me.
You chose to trust and believe in Me, rather than to give in to your doubts.
Because you knew, deep down in the depths of your soul,
that things would work out for your good.

Now you need rest.
The end is just around the corner,
I need you to rest.
Let this be a day of refreshing.
I am calling you to come and rest in My presence.
You have run hard and accomplished much,
but you must rest and be refreshed for the remainder of your journey.

There is so much I still want to do in your life,
And there are blessings coming that exceed your imagination.
However, all of this will take place when you begin to spend time in My presence.
So take time to rest, take time to rejoice in Me this day.
For the best is yet to come.

----
Psalm 116:7 - Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me.

Hebrews 4:9-10 - So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God's rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.

What the devil Means for evil, the Lord Will Turn Into Good (11.14.13)

I sensed the Lord proclaiming, "Beware of the father of lies. The truth is not in him! He is a liar from the beginning! Do not try to justify yourself, for I am the one who justifies and qualifies you for greatness!"

"In fact, agree quickly with your adversary, the devil, and tell him you aren't worthy but you know the One who is worthy.  Whose blood was shed for you! When he attacks and threatens your future, remind him of his past, that he is defeated and remains defeated by what I, the Lord Jesus Christ has done for you and what My blood has done for him - destroying all of his power over you! And when he brings up your past, remind him of his future and where he is headed! I give you permission to tell him where to go!"

I have learned to understand that these lies, with partial truth, will began to turn around for good once we take our eyes off of ourselves and look to Jesus.

My brothers and sisters, as we humble ourselves under GOD's mighty hand, confessing our sins and shortcomings, the Lord will begin to raise us up to a place where we have never been before.

A place of greatness where GOD will receive all the Glory
through our brokenness and humility.
What the devil meant for evil, the LORD will turn into good.
Whatever the devil tells you, believe the opposite.
If he tells you, "You will never make it," start praising the the LORD;
because there is no way you won't make it.

GOD said you will make it and you will be blessed and
He is not a man that He should lie.
The enemy is a liar, so when he condemns you,
he is actually proclaiming your destiny and future in CHRIST.

Jesus Never Said It Would Be Easy, Trouble Don't Last Always (11.13.13)

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 - We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed: We are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; Cast down, but not destroyed.

Beloved,
Just as I suffered in my ministry,
so shall you suffer in the walk you have chosen.
After all you have chosen to follow Me.
Yet, I want you to be as faithful as My servant Paul was, he didn’t give up.
Trouble surrounded him many times,
but he knew at all times I would see him through.
Paul knew that trouble don’t last always.

I must allow you to suffer as My Father allowed Me to suffer.
I never said it was going to be easy,
but I always promised you I would be with you.
Remember I told you I would never forsake you, nor leave you.
My words are true.
I am always watching over you.

My prayer in the garden wasn’t just for Me.
It was for all My children.
I cried out in the garden; I cried out three times.
It was there I told My Father, "Nevertheless let your will be done."
You should do the same.

Now press your way through.
Each test has a purpose, and each test will make you wiser and stronger.
Everything that you are going through is working out for your good.
Yes, it hurts. I know you want to give up, but you can’t.
Stay with Me.
Trouble don’t last always.

Think it not strange, when a fiery trial comes upon you,
as though some strange thing has happened.
It isn’t strange. Look at how My disciples suffered,
and how they were changed.

Push your way through the storm.
Rejoice I say, rejoice.
Trouble don’t last always.

Yes, I know it’s hard, but you have to know that I am with you
and guiding you through the storm.
Think of how bad it would be if I wasn’t with you,
in the midst of the storm, holding back the winds and the waves of the sea.

Stop looking at the situations and the circumstances of this life,

and keep your focus on Me.
Yes, focus on Me.
Lift your eyes up and look unto the hills
from whence cometh your help.
Trouble don’t last always

At the end of the storm is your blessing.
Blessings I have promised,

if you would endure and have faith in Me.

Your breakthrough is HERE.
Your deliverance is HERE.

Your time of blessing has arrived because
Trouble don’t last always.

- My Prayer Confession -

Heavenly Father,
I am so grateful that trouble won’t last always.
As long as I have you in my life I will always survive.
I am so grateful for your amazing Grace.

A Silent God (11.12.13)

A Silent GOD

When you're going through some trials
The burdens are hard to bear
You call out to GOD
But it seems He isn't there.
crossrotate.gif (14,436 bytes)
In the presence of a silent GOD
There's nothing you can do
But put your faith in Jesus
And know He'll see you through.
crossrotate.gif (14,436 bytes)
If He answered plain and clear
Every time you called His name
You'd never soar to heights unknown
Your faith would stay the same.
crossrotate.gif (14,436 bytes)

We know that it's the wings of faith
That carry us above
The lonely, hurting trials of life
To GOD's perfect peace and love.

In Every Season, God Is Doing Great Things (11.11.13)

When the rain comes, it only lasts only for a season.
And when it leaves, the sun comes out to finish off the work.
The same thing is happening in your life.

God is taking you through different seasons, and at times it might appear that the rainy season is lasting longer than you want it to. However, they are both needed for your growth.  Always know that God will take you through your seasons of rain and of sunshine.
There will be times when the season you are in might feel bleak and you will feel as though all is lost. Do not become discouraged when you face a season like this.

Instead, suit up and pray through the storm.
Recognize that it is all part of the process.  A process that is needed for your growth and blessings to bloom. Soon enough the rain clouds will clear and the sun will break through. The sun will shine on your situation and you will see that God only has good and perfect things in store for you.

Do not become discouraged or wonder why God is leading you in the way that He is.  For God is doing a great work in your life. He knows where you are, He knows where you are going, and He knows the best way to take you there. Remember, He knows all of your needs and He knows what it will take to bring the very best out of your life.

So trust God and thank Him for every season He takes you through. And as you are diligent to submit to each season and learn from them, you will begin to see the fruit of it. You will see the growth; you will see that God's word is true; you will see the good and perfect things waiting for you;
and you will know that it was God that led you.
---
Psalm 32:8 - I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye

Ezekiel 34:26 - And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing

Ecclesiastics 3:1 - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven

2 Corinthians 15:7 - But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded

The Importance of Prayer (11.10.13)

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always - 1 Chronicles 16:11

The primary reason for prayer is the simple need we all have to know GOD.
There is no way to draw near to the Lord apart from prayer.
It is in prayer that we express to the Lord our love for Him, our faith in Him,
our worship of Him, and our surrender to Him.

If for no other reason, the desire for intimacy with Christ
ought to bring us to our knees daily.

Another reason for praying is simple obedience.

GOD tells us to pray…so we pray.

This is especially important during those times in our lives when we don’t feel like praying. These spiritual “dry times” can happen to each of us. Often, the only thing that can lead us out of such dryness is sticking with a routine of daily prayer to our Father and spending time in His word on a daily basis.

Developing a spiritual discipline out of obedience to the Lord is essential
to preventing spiritual dryness, laziness, and busyness.

- Prayer -

Lord,
So often my prayer life has been dull and unexciting.

I don’t pay attention to the fact that
the King of the Universe is listening.

Help me to long to know You better
by surrendering to You in prayer.

Give me a deep longing to obey Your commands
and to seek Your face,
therefore opening my heart
for Your plans and purposes to manifest in my life.

Amen

Our Hope, Our Trust and Our Faith is in You God (11.7.13)

Father,
In the name of Jesus,
I bring those who have been crying out to you right now,
and I speak life into their situation.

I speak to every crooked place in their lives and I call them straight in the name of Jesus.
I stand with them as one in the name of Jesus and bring the blood of Jesus against the attacks, the fear and every plot and plan coming from the enemy.  And send them fleeing back to the enemy’s camp double fold. Lord, I speak to the storms that are tossing them here and there and I call them to cease and flow peaceful blessings into their lives in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, I bring the blood of Jesus against the hindering spirits of the enemy that have been trying to envelope them in darkness and despair.  And I say in the name of Jesus they are loose and set free.  Lord, remove the feelings of hopelessness that causes them to say and feel as though nothing is working out. For we know all things work together for those who love you and are called according to Your purpose.

Lord, You called us, You chose us because You love us.

Jesus, dispel this darkness they feel, shine Your light on their situation right now, and strengthen them to hold fast to Your word in the name of Jesus!

Jesus, our hope, our trust and our faith is in You, because You promised to never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, You are our everything, and we surrender all to You. Oh Father, fill us with Your goodness, faithfulness and Your love and help us to stand and shower You with love this day!!!

We praise You.
We glorify Your name Lord.
Lord, we love You!

In Jesus Christ name we pray,

Amen!

The Trial You are Facing is in God's Hands (11.6.13)

My Child,
I know you are going through a lot right now.

Yes, times are difficult, but you will learn and gain so much by not giving up on Me.
I know the thoughts that are going through your mind.
You are desperately trying to find a solution to your problems.
Your mind is running to and fro,
thinking that you need to find a way out of the challenge before you.

Please let go of those thoughts.
The challenge that is before you is one that I have allowed.

Yes, I have allowed this challenge to come to you, just as I did with Job.
Right now it seems difficult and may look like there’s no way out.
But if you will endure to the end,
you will see that this trial will lead you to a very big blessing.

Beloved,
You must find a way to bring peace to your spirit so you can hear Me clearly.
Reading more of My Word will help you.
Just spending time alone in my presence will also help you.
You dont have to say anything, just come before Me and be still.

When your heart is so troubled that you cannot find the words to speak,
I will listen to your heart.

Do not listen to the lies satan is trying to make you believe.
If you listen and heed to what I am telling you to do,
your anxiety and frustration will turn into peace,
because the Holy Spirit will be with you.

The trial you are facing is in My hands.

Trust God & Follow the Road He Has Put You On (11.5.13)

When you travel on a road with a sharp turn,
it is often difficult to see what lies ahead.

All you can do is follow the curve of the road, until a new stretch of road opens up before you. Not being able to see around the curve will not stop you from reaching your destination.

In the same way, simply because you do not see your future or your path clearly laid out,
it does not mean that God has not made a way for you.
It doesn’t mean that you should give up on your dreams.
Just because you cannot see it, it does not mean that it’s not there.
You should know that the Lord has gone before you and prepared the way.
He will lead you to the land that He has promised you.
God just needs you to continue moving.

All you need to do is trust Him and follow the road that He has put you on. At times you will not understand what God is doing, and you may wish that you could see further along. The enemy will put bumps in the road to hinder your journey. However, it is like that curve in the road, just keep pressing forward and the way will open up before you.

Stay faithful to God's words and soon your heart will be glad and rejoice. For you will see that God did not leave a single detail out of your future. You will see that He has prepared the road ahead of you, to perfection.

So stay on the road and trust the Lord with your future. Follow the instructions that He has given to you, one step at a time.  And soon it will open up to reveal the fullness of the new life that God has prepared for you.

Isaiah 42:16 - And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Isaiah 45:2 - I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Thanking God for Closed Doors (11.4.13)

We need to learn to thank the Lord for closed doors,
the same as we do for an open door.

The reason GOD closes doors
is because He has not prepared anything there for us.

If He didn't close the wrong door, we would never find our way to the right door.
Even when we don't realize it, GOD directs our paths through the closing and opening of doors.
When one door closes, it forces us to change our course.
Another door closes, it forces us to change our course yet again.
Then finally, we find the open door, and walk right into our blessing.

But instead of praising GOD for the closed door, which kept us out of trouble,
we get upset because we "judge by the appearances."

And in our own arrogance, or ignorance, we insist that we know what is right.

We have a very present help, in the time of need, who is always standing guard.
Because He walks ahead of us, He can see trouble down the road.
And He sets up roadblocks and detours accordingly.

But through our lack of wisdom, we try to tear down the roadblocks or push aside the detour signs.
Then the minute we get into trouble,
we start crying, "Lord how could this happen to me?"

We have to realize that the closed door was a blessing.
Didn't He say, "No good thing will He withhold from them that love him?"

If that man or woman won't return your call - it might not be them.
It might be the Lord setting up a roadblock.  So just let it go.

I'm so grateful, for the many times GOD has closed doors to me,
just to open them in the most unexpected places.

and He delights in his way" - Psalm 37:23

When God Calls Your Name, Answer Without Hesitation (11.2.13)

When GOD calls us to do something bigger than what we think we can accomplish,
He will equip us with everything we need in order to complete what He has called us to do.

Through this, we learn to rely on His strength instead of our own.
Simply put, GOD doesn’t look for those who think they are stronger
or smarter than He is.

The Lord looks for people who are willing to surrender their life to Him,
those who will throw up their hands and declare, "Have your way Lord."

Because after all He is the the GREAT I AM!!!

There is no one or nothing above Him.
He is GOD all by Himself.

So when you hear the voice of GOD calling your name,
answer without hesitation and say,
“Here I am Lord,
Use me for Your Kingdom and Your will.”

A Prayer for Protection, Strength and Covering (11.1.13)

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of GOD so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms - Ephesians 6:10-12

Father GOD,
I thank you for being a mighty GOD,
who longs to cover my weakness with Your strength.

Please equip me for all that lies ahead today;
protect me from attacks and schemes of the enemy;
and help me to be strong in Your mighty power.

Cover me with Your peace, truth, faith, and salvation;
so I can stand firm in the battle.

I ask this in the powerful name of Your Son Jesus,

Amen
