Our Restoration & Hope are in Christ Jesus (5.31.15)

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because GOD’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. - Romans 5:3-5

Faith Believers,
It is not in our human nature to want to suffer.
In fact, our society encourages us to avoid hardship at all costs.
But what if suffering was part of GOD's plan for our restoration?

Paul of all people knew what adversity was. From an illness that was always upon him, to beatings, stonings, prison, and even shipwrecks; Paul experienced it all. Yet he knew in his heart that his sufferings were to be rejoiced over.

All of us have experienced various forms of afflictions and sufferings - the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, income or home, divorce or sickness. I personally can attest to everything I just listed; however, I wouldn’t change anything about my life. Every form of affliction I have endured — and will endure — has brought me closer to GOD. These painful experiences have transformed me into who I am today.

We must never forget that our restoration and hope are in Christ Jesus.  Our suffering will restore our hearts and teach us endurance, which will develop our character to be a reflection of His. This is our restoration in Him - to be one with Christ, just as He was One with the Father.

________

Hear our cries today, Lord.
You know our struggles.
Help us to face our afflictions with a joyful heart,
knowing that in them we will only grow closer to You.
May we trust You with everything in our lives,
so that You may restore our hearts to be one with You.

Amen.

Give God Your Pain, Release Your Anger, Talk to Him & Be at Peace (5.30.15)

My Child,
When you are feeling down, it is then that you are more susceptible to the attacks of the enemy.  he will encourage you to feel sorry for yourself, so that you will never rise above your pain. In the midst of your pain is when you should seek My face and call out to Me.  When you call upon Me, I will come and minister to you, and take away the pain. I long to hold you close to Me. Cease all your striving and come talk with Me.

Please talk to Me and stop allowing your pain to cause you to lash out at others. Don’t be angry with them because your despair and pain has become too much for you to bear. My child, give Me your pain, for I Am the One who can handle all that you’re going through. Lashing out at others won’t ease your pain, nor will it bring deliverance from what you are going through.  That is why I am here.  Release your anger.  Give it all to Me, and talk to Me,  for it’s My desire to heal you.

Humble yourself, forgive and talk to Me. Pour all that concerns you unto Me.  I want to bear your burdens. Don't hold onto the pain and hurt, but call out to Me. I want to heal you.  I want to hold you close, and wipe away your tears. Have you forgotten where your strength and help comes from? Oh, My child, if only you would lift your head up from all that troubles you; then you would see that I am with you.

So, talk to Me often, and let a praise rise up from your lips.  You don’t have to go through this alone. Talk to Me, and then you will see that I am right there with you.

My child, you’ve tried everything else, why not try talking to Me and be at peace.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Psalms 40:1-2 - I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Ephesians 4:26-27 - Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.

1 Peter 5:6-7 - Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of GOD, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 Peter 5:10 - But the GOD of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

The Importance of Making God a Priority (5.29.15)

My Child,
I want you to spend more time with Me.
You seem to have forgotten what it means
to wait upon your Lord.

You live in an age of instant gratification, where you want things to come to you quickly and easily. You seem to have forgotten what it is to wait, and now you think that waiting means the denial of a promised blessing.

Because you don’t understand the importance of waiting, it has weakened your faith.

Have you forgotten how My presence used to saturate your senses, as you waited before Me?
Have you forgotten how I used to show you things from My Word, as you prayerfully pondered it?
Have you forgotten how My joy used to fill your heart, as you meditated on Me?

I am still able to do all of those wonderful things for you.
My child, do not think I am withholding any good thing from you.

The reason you lack these things, is because you are not willing to come before Me and wait upon Me like you used to. You are not willing to stop thinking about what you want, so that I can supply your needs.

I want good and perfect things for you.
I want to saturate your senses with My nearness.
I want to fill you with My anointing as you linger in My presence.
I want to strengthen you and fully equip you for things to come.

That is why it is so important for you to make Me a priority and to spend time with Me.

Come into My presence. Spend more time with Me, and I will reveal more of myself to you.
Come and allow Me to refresh you, and remind you of the power and the blessings of waiting in My presence.
Come, spend more time with Me, and you will be in awe of the amazing things that are yet to come.

My child, in My presence is where you need to be.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:

Psalm 130:5-6 - I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
Isaiah 30:18 - And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a GOD of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
Micah 7:7 - Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the GOD of my salvation: my God will hear me

Hebrew 10:36 - For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of GOD, ye might receive the promise.

Putting on "a New Self," in God's Image (5.28.15)

Put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. - Colossians 3:10

Faith Believers,
I was going through a difficult stretch.

Every day a new problem seemed to pile on top of an older one.
I was increasingly asking, “GOD, why are You allowing all these things to happen?”
“Why?” Small word but a big question.
And at some point, it begins to seem like the biggest question of all.
You want to say to GOD, “Another problem? Really? Don’t I have enough already?”

I asked a friend why GOD was doing these things.
“We don’t always know the reasons,” he said,
“but we can always know the goal.”

I wasn’t sure I understood the difference. He explained further from Colossians 3:10. “GOD is always in the renewal business; His goal is to renew you in knowledge in His own image.”

That was a new thought to me, and it was a timely word. It encouraged me to think less about what GOD was doing to me and more about what He wanted to do within me. I may not have understood much of why the problems were piling up, but I could understand a lot about how I needed to respond.

I needed to “put on the new self,” to more fully embrace the new nature He had created within me, when I came to Christ. I could become more like Christ. If I couldn’t control the problems – and so often we cannot – I could respond by asking for GOD’s help to put on this new self, in His image.

This would be a new self that trusted in His love, experienced His peace,
asked for His wisdom and relied on His strength.

Did knowing this make things easier? Maybe a small bit, but difficulties are, well, difficult.  Sometimes even painful. But it did give me hope to get through the difficulties.

I could be sure that GOD was at work in my life,
and that in the end He would do a good work within me.

    - Marilyn
________

Jesus,
Thank You for coming into my life
and creating a new nature within me.

Please awaken me to living fully in that new nature
by the power of Your Spirit.

I give you my weaknesses and burdens today,
and I trust that you have already given me
everything I need for life and godliness
to become more like You.

Amen

Final Word:
If you are experiencing pain or hurt, bring it to GOD in prayer.
Ask Him to give you wisdom in how to pray for His intercession.
He is always at work to renew your life.
You can trust Him to carry you through until,
as the Apostle Paul tells us, Christ “is formed in you” (Galatians 4:19).

He is Jehovah Jireh, the God of More than Enough & He will Provide. (5.27.15)

My Child,
In case you need a reminder, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life;
and I hold all the keys to every door, lock and obstacle imaginable.

I know it’s easy to get so caught up with the struggles of this life, and the events surrounding you, that you might sometimes forget that I have, and that I Am, the answer to every problem. There is not one issue that is too big or too small for Me to overcome. No, there is nothing too hard for the Lord your God, and I will provide.

I am the GOD who restores and refreshes you, when you get weary.  I am the GOD who will build up what the enemy has torn down. I am the GOD, who will encourage you, when despair is knocking at your door.  I am the GOD, who will strengthen the weak areas in your life. I am the GOD who will restore the years the enemy has taken away.  No one else can do what I can. So, rely on Me when you are down and out.

Pray and turn to Me, before you have reached the point
of finding out that everything else has, or will, fail.

I am Jehovah Jireh; whatever you need, I will provide.

Now, stop worrying about what’s coming against you.  Stop worrying about what others are doing. Stop allowing your eyes to dictate the outcome of what you are going through. Take your hands off the situation; look to Me, and let Me do what you cannot do.

Never forget that I am more than able to supply your EVERY need.
I am Jehovah Jireh.
I am the GOD of more than enough.
I will provide.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:

Genesis 22:8 - And Abraham said, My son, GOD will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
Genesis 22:14 - And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

Jeremiah 32:27 - Behold, I am the LORD, the GOD of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Joel 2:25 - And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and thecaterpiller, and the palmerworm,

Philippians 4:19 - But my GOD shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Stand, Get through this Obstacle & Obtain the Victory (5.26.15)

My Child,
Pray with confidence in My ability to answer your prayers.

Put away all the whining, all the complaining prayers and pray with expectancy for your promises to be fulfilled. I am not a man that I should lie, nor the son of a man, that I should change My Mind. Do not cast away your confidence in what I have promised you.

Just because you have to endure this situation, do not give up, do not lose hope - for I will answer.

Changes are happening, and I want you to be able to hear the sound of My still, small voice to know what direction to go. The enemy still seeks to distract you, and to throw confusion in the mix. No matter what he tries to do, do not change your Confession of Faith. Beloved, lift your head up and look beyond what you are facing at this moment, and don’t waver in faith. Changing your mind back and forth leaves you in the sea of indecision; and double mindedness produces no decision at all.

If you can see beyond what you are going through, you will know that it is only temporary, and then you can move past it to obtain the Victory. The enemy will do all he can to put just one more thing in your way, so that you will give up hope. Nevertheless, stand and refuse to allow him to get in your way of Victory.  he knows that if you get through this obstacle, it will give you the courage and strength for your breakthrough.

So hold fast My Child.
Do not stop praying.
Do not give up hope.

I am the Lord, Your God.
I am faithful.
And I will answer.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:

Numbers 23:19 - GOD is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

1 Corinthians 1:9 - GOD is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Hebrews 10:35-36 - Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of GOD, ye might receive the promise.

James 1:6-8 - But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Obedience is Fundamental to Effective Prayer (5.25.15)

We have confidence before GOD and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him - 1 John 3:21-22

Faith Believers,
Obedience is fundamental to effective prayer.  Only people who obey GOD, have the right to go into His presence with requests.

GOD delights in the prayers of his obedient children. When we want what GOD wants, and live the way He likes, then we will pray prayers that GOD will answer, in the way we expect; and GOD, in answering our prayers, will support what He approves. Were GOD to answer the prayers of the disobedient, the Father would be aiding and abetting what He does not approve. That would be out of character for GOD.

To put it in other words, if we expect GOD to do for us what we ask, we should be prepared to do for GOD what He asks. If we listen to His words of command, GOD will listen to our words of request.

This principle also explains much of the weakness of prayer. Lack of power, lack of perseverance and lack of confidence in prayer all stem from some lack in the Christian life. Often when prayer fails, and we receive no answers, we assume the problem is in GOD - while in reality, the problem really is in us.

Gracious GOD,
I give You praise for Your generous, giving nature.

Forgive me of my failure to keep
Your commands and to do what pleases You.

Help my desires in prayer to be in perfect alignment
with Your Will for the glory of Your Kingdom.

Amen

Prayer Points
  • Praise GOD as your Rock, your stronghold and fortress (Psalm 144:1-2).
  • Thank Him for being a solid foundation on which to stand spiritually, so that nothing can shake you (Matthew 7:24-25).
  • Confess those times in your life when you have stepped off the rock solid foundation of GOD’s Word and relied on your own understanding.
  • Commit yourself to building your life on Christ’s teachings.
  • Ask GOD to help you plant your feet firmly in His Word each day.
  • Pray for the devotional times of the families that you know, that regular times of prayer and Bible reading will help bond family members to each other and to GOD.
  • Pray that your single friends may find a group of spiritual brothers and sisters to do this with as well.

Rest Now. Whatever You are Believing God for - it is Already Done (5.24.15)

My Child,
Your cries and prayers have not fallen on deaf ears.
Not one tear you shed has fallen to the ground.

Don’t you know I saw this day before you were born? I know your needs and desires. I knew about them before you took your first breath. All you have been through, brought you to this point. You are where you are right now because your trials have brought you closer to Me.

I want you to let go of that fear that’s in your heart.
Let go of doubting, because I will come through for you.
I have kept you, and I have brought you this far,
am I not capable of delivering you?

Fear not. I am the same GOD which opens your eyes each day. Have faith in Me, Beloved, because I hold each and every situation you may ever face, in the palm of My Hand.  I am more than capable of doing all things, for nothing is impossible for Me. Is it not written that you are more precious than the birds in the air and the lilies of the field? Then, please don’t worry about your situation. Worrying will never change anything.

So, please let it go. When worry attempts to invade your thoughts, stop and say, “JESUS.ʺ

Worry can’t linger when My Son is present. Just say, “JESUS.” That’s all you have to say. We will never leave you nor forsake you. Give Me full control of what is wrong in your life. Rest now, knowing that all you need, and all that concerns you, is in My Hands; and that whatever you are believing Me for, is already done!!!

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Luke 12:22-31  And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and GOD feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

If then GOD so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of GOD; and all these things shall be added unto you.

A Time for Rest & Solitude in God's Love (5.22.15)

My Child,
Let go of the cares and burdens of the world;
and spend some time with Me.
Come into My embrace
and rest your head on My shoulder.

There are too many things running through your mind, so it’s time to rest your mind today. Go to a secluded place and just rest. Stop feeling that you have to be busy all the time.  How can you fulfill others, if you are empty?  Come and allow Me to refresh you and pour fresh oil into you and on you.

There is a time to be a warrior and to fight the battles of the world; however, there is also a time to rest, and to let Me comfort and encourage you.  There is much to be learned from a little solitude, and if you spend some time with Me today, I will teach you. Oh, just come into My presence for a while, feel My strong arms enveloping you and keeping you safe.

As you rest today, take time to remember and rejoice in the many blessings that I have showered upon you; and appreciate the life that you have.  I know things may not be the way you want them to be right now; however, there are blessings in your life in which you should be giving thanks for.  If you spend time today reflecting, it will ignite your faith and cause you to believe that the best is yet to come.

Rest with Me today and allow My love to flow into every part of your life. If you rest in My love, it will reassure you that I have all of your plans, and your situation, in the palm of my hand.

Now, rest your mind and abide in the presence of the Most High GOD.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Psalms 23:1-3 - The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Psalm 91:1 - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Mark 6:31-32 - And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.

Things are Changing, Stand Strong (5.21.15)

Beloved,
Stay close to Me, allow My presence to overshadow you and saturate your life.

Just because things are turning around, don’t be tempted to walk away from Me. Strengthen yourself in Me, and stay before Me; so that discouragement will not be able to undermine the blessed assurance that is now upon your life.  You are My Work in progress, and I am working on you, pouring much into you because there is much to be done.

I am renewing your spirit,
so that you will be able to stand strong against the spirit of fear,
and do mighty things in My Name.

Stand My Child and be renewed in the faith and confidence that I’m pouring into your life.  Continue to feed upon My Word daily.  Hunger and thirst for it more than you do for natural food.  Change is happening and I want you to enjoy what is happening in your life.  But never forget where your help and strength come from. Remember, apart from Me you can do nothing.

Things are happening,
and the things you’ve been seeking will happen suddenly.

You’ve been prepared.
Now it is time for you to go forth and conquer the land.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Deuteronomy 8:10-14 - When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy GOD for the good land which he hath given thee. Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy GOD, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:  Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy GOD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

Lamentations 2:17 - The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old:

Psalm 121:2 - My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Do Not Turn Back nor Give Up. Do Not Be Moved. (5.20.15)

My Child,
Difficult times are a part of life.

You have faced many already,
and you overcame them all,
so don’t give up now.

I will draw you out of this situation, as one draws a bucket of water from a well. This is not an impossible circumstance. Have the attitude that you will never let go until you move Me to action. Some things never come into reality because you give up just before your breakthrough.

Pray and keep on praying.
Knock and keep on knocking.
Ask and keep on asking.
And do not be moved by this trial of your faith.

You cannot fail, nor be destroyed, if you keep walking with Me in obedience. Once you set your mind that you will have the fulfillment of these visions and promises, never let it go. I guarantee you that the door will eventually open, and you will have all that you seek.  Fill your mind with heavenly thoughts, and be reminded of all that I have prepared for you.

It is not too late for your dreams to come to pass.
Therefore, don’t give up on the things you desire,
and don’t be moved by this situation - for I am with you.

I say unto you, declare in your own heart and mind that you will achieve the goal. Hold fast to the vision I gave you.  Stay before Me with prayer and fasting, and don’t stop until you see the sun breaking through the dark night.  Don’t allow your problems to overtake you.  Rise up and overcome everything coming against you, by faith, in My name. Do not turn back and do not be moved.

Now, say to yourself, "I WILL NOT BE MOVED.
I WILL NOT GIVE UP,"
and go forth with what I have placed in your heart.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Psalms 46:1-4 - GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of GOD, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. GOD is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: GOD shall help her, and that right early.

Matthew 7:7-8 - Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 17:20-21 - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Speak Peace to the Storms (5.19.15)

My Child,
Although the storms may be raging all around,
and the winds are howling, do not fear.

When your natural eyes try to make you believe everything around you is out of control, do not fear. Just as I spoke peace to the storm when My Son's disciples were troubled on the sea; I am with you now.

I want you to speak to the storms in your life,
for it is not my will for you to live in fear.

I do not want you to stress about the things happening around you. I want you to be strong, to be of good courage and to recognize that it is simply the enemy trying to disturb the peace you’ve found in Me.  Do not allow him to disturb your peace anymore. You must always remember that I am greater than the enemy.  So stand fast, and know that I am with you in the midst of it all.

I know your situation, and I see the storm.
I saw this day even before you were born.
Keep your mind on Me, and not on your situation.
Lift your head up to see how I have been working in your life.

I have been moving you forward, away from the failures of your past.
I've been moving you towards new land and the new blessings that I have for you.
Oh, look to Me now and allow Me to be in charge of your situation.

I say to you, be still and listen as I speak peace into your life.

Yes, I am more than able to calm the storm for you, but if I do, how will you ever learn to use the authority that I’ve given you?  How will you ever grow?  I have given you the authority to rebuke the storm. Now, speak as I speak, “Peace, be still! Peace be still."  Say it over and over until you feel My Presence come into your situation. Can you feel it? Can you feel My Presence ministering to your weary spirit, giving you strength and renewed hope?

Oh, be still My Child, and feel My Peace pouring over your life.
Now, speak forth this peace.
Speak peace, and it will calm the raging.
Speak peace, and the clouds will roll away.
Speak peace, and then you will see the good things that I have in store for you.
Speak peace My Child.

Speak peace and the storm will end.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Psalm 91:5-6 - Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Mark 4:39-40 - And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Be Still & Know that God Loves You (5.18.15)

My Child,
You do not have to worry.
You do not have to fret.
You must trust Me when I say all is well.
You must always know and believe that I am with you.
Haven’t I cared for you in the past?
Haven’t I proven Myself more than worthy, over and over again?

I have caused men to give unto you. I have made the crooked places straight. I supplied all of your needs each time you called on Me. I know what your needs are. I know all of them. All you have to do is ask and believe, and I will provide. Believe in My Name, beloved.

Believe in your heart that you have received what you have asked for. Nothing shall be impossible to you, if you would only believe. Everything has a time and season and the time for your blessings are here so prepare yourself for what I am about to do in your life.

Doors will be opened that only I could have opened.
I will open the doors that have been closed for so long.
So please do not worry but trust Me to do what I just said.

Be still and know that I love you.
Rest in Me, because all will be well.
Be still and know that I am GOD.

So again, I ask why do you worry?

Meditate on My Word:
Psalm 55:22 - Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Trust in God. Wait for His Direction. He will Deliver You! (5.17.15)

My Child,
The voice of the enemy is leading down a wide path.
Do not heed his voice anymore.

My paths are straight and narrow, and you won’t have any difficulty finding them if you listen to My voice and follow in My footsteps. Don’t look to man for directions; for I will guide thee and I will direct your steps.

For it is written, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord," not by man.  All you have to do is trust Me to guide you; be patient and allow Me to bring things to pass in My time. Do not be hasty and do not lean unto your own understanding.

Rest in Me, and I shall bring it to pass.

Trust in Me, wait for My directions and I will deliver you from your troubles.
I will lead you in a more excellent way and bring you out into a better place.

Wait for My guidance, and you shall receive that which you have desired.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Psalms 37:23-24 - The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

1 Corinthians 12:31 - Now eagerly desire the greater gift: and yet I will show you the most excellent way.

Psalm 118:5 - I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place

Continuing to Trust God & All that He is Allowing In Our Life (5.16.15)

Faith Believers,
I decree nothing is going to hinder pure worship coming forth through the body of Christ. What the enemy means for harm, God will turn for our good. All things, no matter what, works together for our good; because we love Him and we are called according to His plan and purpose. The Lord forever intercedes, that we would be one, as Christ and the Father are One!

No weapon formed against the body of Christ will prosper.
If God be for us who can be against us!

We must keep our hearts pure, and keep pressing in, for the manifestation of the victory in our life. Iron sharpens iron!  What the enemy keeps attacking in the way of relationships shows a real threat to His kingdom. We must not allow him to win at dividing the body!!!!!  In Jesus name!!!

So we must die out to the flesh,
and allow His Spirit to do the necessary work
in us and through us!

We are going to have breakthrough. The Lord will pour out His glory with signs, wonders, and miracles like never before! We will be a part of greater works! We will raise the dead, heal the sick, open the blind eyes and the deaf ears. When the Lord gets through purging us with fire, even our shadow will bring holy conviction upon those Jesus gave His life for.

Yes, we must continue to trust Him in all He's allowing in our life!

Be Thankful in Everything (5.15.15)

Faith Believers,
When things aren’t going the way we hoped they would, the enemy will do all he can to make us ungrateful. We should always have a grateful and thankful heart in everything. For the atmosphere and attitude of thanksgiving is essential for the working of the power of the Holy Spirit.

All the tactics of the enemy were designed with one purpose and one purpose alone, to take away your grateful and thankful heart to GOD; and replace it with a heart of dissatisfaction and complaint. Once the enemy succeeds in this, you are on the road of sin and destruction. Don’t allow the enemy to cause you to focus so much attention on the bad things, that you neglect to give the Lord thanks for the many things He has already given you.

Until you are able to give thanks while in your present circumstances, your circumstances will never change. You must change your attitude first before your circumstances will change.  You must have an attitude of gratitude for the small things the Lord has blessed you with, before He blesses you with greater things.

No matter what is going on in your life, never neglect to offer the Lord a sacrifice of praise. It is not just a little exhortation to keep us happy; it is the key which will bring power and grace to all your circumstances. It is the only way to enter into the road of grace and favor, and it is also the only way to keep you on the road that leads to Him.

Matthew 25:21 - His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Hebrews 13:15 - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to GOD continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

The only thing that Jesus did, in releasing the power for the miracle to feed the five thousand, was in giving thanks to His Father for the five loaves of bread and two small fishes. Therefore, you too must offer the Lord praise and thanksgiving for the blessings He has bestowed on you..

John 6:9-11 - There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would

If there are times you find it hard to stand in faith, it is because you are holding on by your own strength. Stop depending on yourself, lean and depend upon the strength and grace of our Lord and Savior. The Lord will help you and He will see you through.  He will restore your joy and cause you to sing praises to His name.

Psalm 28:7 - The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
So, I say to you, whatever situation you find yourself in this day,
give thanks to the Lord for what He has provided.

Be thankful for the blessings you have this day.
Be thankful in good circumstances.
Be thankful in bad circumstances.
Be thankful in everything, for this is the will of the Lord.
- Marilyn

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In everything give thanks: for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Let Go & Trust God, for He will give You Peace, Wisdom & Direction (5.14.15)

My Child,
Let go of everything that is producing stress in your life.
Don’t hang onto it any longer.

You keep saying to yourself, “It’s not that bad, and I can fix it," but you have yet to realize that you cannot fix everything. No, I’m not saying to give up and throw it away; but I am asking you to let go of it, and give it to Me.

I am the One, who can fix it.
I am the One, who can put the broken pieces back together again,
and cause you to see them in a new way.

You’ve wasted too much precious time trying to fix it and worrying; and it hasn’t improved your situation. The only thing worrying has done for you is open the door to depression, and caused your faith to decrease.  When you worry too much, it affects every area of your life and before you know it, things are out of your ability to control, and it leaves you feeling helpless.

I don't want you feeling helpless.
I want you to let go and trust Me
with those things you cannot change.

Trust Me with every difficult situation in your life;
be it physically, emotionally, mentally or financially.

If you to let go and trust Me, I will provide the help you need.  I want to help and I will help, if you let go.  If you let go and give it to Me, I will give you peace, wisdom and direction in your circumstances. My child, when you let go and give it to Me, I will be able to restore and make that which was broken better than new.

So, let go of what’s broken in your life
and allow the Potter to fix it.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Proverbs 20:3 - It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

Jeremiah 18:3-6 - Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter. Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

God's Perfect Love & Spirit will Cast out all Fear (5.13.15)

My Child,
You’ve been worrying a lot this month. The enemy seems to have come in like a flood and disturbed the peace you once knew.  You're wondering how this fear could have gained a stronghold over you. Now, you’re asking, "Lord, what have I done wrong?"

My child, you haven’t done anything wrong.  The enemy is unleashing strategies of fear against the ones whom I love; but I say to you, “Fear not, for I am with you."  Rise up against the spirit of fear and stand in My name. Choose to believe that what I have spoken to you is true, and walk in the love that I’ve poured into you.

Draw ever so near to Me, and perfect love will cast out all fear.

Yes, I know you are concerned as to why I would allow such an attack to come against you.  Child, I allowed it because I am teaching you to war.  I am teaching you to stand, to fight the good fight of faith and to destroy the works of the enemy.  I am teaching you to be an overcomer, to be the one who walks in victory, not defeat. And when you stand and proclaim victory, you will learn that fear has no power over you, for you are under My power, and My Spirit is with you.

Therefore, stand on My Word, fear not
and know that I am with you.

Know that My promises are true
and that I have ordained victory for you.

Rise up, My child, and trample over the enemy's tactics of fear that he’s trying to bring against you.  Rise up and know that I have already given you the victory.

Now, go My child and do not let the enemy get in your way.

You have the victory!

 MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 - Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Letting God's Peace Rule in Our Hearts (5.12.15)

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. - Colossians 3:15

Faith Believers,
Our sense of peace can be dislodged and replaced by turmoil and confusion before we even realize it.  GOD’s Word puts it simply. In order to have GOD’s peace in our hearts, we must make the choice to let His peace rule there.

As soon as you recognize irritation or turmoil taking over in your spirit - STOP! Almost without fail, you will find that the peace of GOD gets pushed aside when anything that has “self” as its source, surges forward.
  • Self-defense in a relationship results in turmoil.
  • Self-pity puts you on the slippery slope of discouragement.
  • Self-seeking in business, or even ministry, allows a shallowness to creep in that pushes peace aside.
  • Self-energy, seeking to live the Christian life in our own strength, leads to defeat.

As long as self is the focus in our thoughts and actions, there is little room for GOD to do His Work in us, and His peace cannot rule in our hearts. When we choose to let Him be the focus of all we do, drawing on His energy, His help, His wisdom, His patience and His purposes; then His peace will rule in our hearts. Today, pay attention to what is going on in your spirit.

If peace is eluding you, take a look inside
and see where self-focus has taken over.

Let GOD’s peace rule in your heart,
by bringing everything in your day
under the umbrella of His care.

It is the best way to live in peace!

Father GOD,
Today I ask You to forgive me
for the places in my heart,
where I have allowed Your peace
to be pushed aside
by my own self issues.

Right now I place everything I have
and am and ever hope to be,
under the umbrella of Your care and attention.

I choose to let Your peace
rule in my heart today.

In Jesus name I pray,
Amen

God takes Situations meant for evil & Turns them Around to Accomplish His Purpose (5.11.15)

Oh, how great are GOD’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. - Romans 11:33-36

GOD revealed a lot about Himself in the Bible. Yet, because we are human, there is a lot we will not understand about GOD, because He lives outside of the natural world. For a person to know GOD completely in this life, is like an ant learning arithmetic. It’s just not possible. GOD is “transcendent,” meaning above and beyond our understanding.

Here are some results of knowing that GOD is transcendent.

Think about the made-up Greek or Roman “gods.” Along with super-powers, they also had many human-like flaws. They were envious, angry, and they committed adultery and murder. These so-called “gods” were not worthy of worship. In contrast, Paul ends today’s passage with worship: All glory to him forever! Amen! - Romans 11:36. GOD is totally wise and powerful and has no needs; He alone is worthy of our praise.

When we are tempted to think we can tell GOD how to run the world, we should read Isaiah 55:8-9 - My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

We all wish there wasn’t so much suffering, or evil, in the world – or in our own lives. Yet from Genesis to Revelations, and especially at the Cross, GOD takes situations meant for evil and turns them around to benefit us and accomplish his purposes.

We must trust GOD to do the same in our world today,
knowing that we will someday praise Him for it.

1 Corinthians 13:12 says - For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.   This season, of being unable to understand GOD, will soon come to an end.

We will live with GOD in Heaven, all sin will be completely removed from us, and we will know GOD in a much greater way than we do today; face to face. Wonder and praise will fill our hearts, at that moment – and as we spend eternity getting to know even more about GOD.

~ A Prayer of Thanks ~
Lord GOD,
Thank you that You and Your ways
are so far above me.

Help me to trust in You,
and Your plan every day;
and to worship you for your greatness and love
You show towards me.

Amen

Ways to Honor Our Mothers (5.10.15)

Faith Believers,
Many of us know the blessing of a mother who always sought the best for her family. She offered physical care, emotional support, encouragement and protection. GOD desires that we honor mothers throughout their lives.

Consider three simple ways:
  1. Mothers appreciate helpers with a good attitude. But she also values their companionship. The family’s willingness to spend time with Mom while she carries out her tasks will bring her joy. As children become adults, it’s important that they find ways of making their moms a regular part of their lives.
  2. Being the kind son or daughter that desires to meet Mom’s needs in thoughtful, sensitive ways. Young children can do this through respectful speech and obedient actions. Adults can demonstrate respect by hugging Mom and expressing how much they love her. They can also show care through acts of service. Families who live far apart, still need to identify opportunities to assist her. Remember, the older your Mother becomes, the more help she will need.
  3. Ever notice how easily pleased some mothers are? Since she wants her husband and children to have what they desire, Mom often willingly accepts what’s left over. But honoring a mother means meeting her needs first, giving her more than the little she expects, and offering your very best. She is the only biological mother you will ever have. Love her and care for her always, if possible. Mothers truly are special because GOD made them that way.
Our heavenly Father helps us whenever we ask,
and treats us with infinite kindness.
He provides generously for us.

Let us do the same for our moms.

Hold On, Faint Not & Don't be Discouraged. (5.9.15)

My Child,
I know this passing season has been difficult.

At times, it’s even been costly for you.
I’ve watched you set aside your own needs,
to minister and care for others.

And because you followed close after Me
and sought My righteousness first,
good things are on the way to you.

I always look after those who look after My Kingdom.
You are blessed and highly favored.
You are a brave soldier and servant of the King.

Many good things will begin to flow into your life,
because you have My grace and My favor over your life.

Continue to stay faithful, press your way through,
and do not allow anything to discourage you.

Good things are coming your way, hold on and faint not.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD
Psalm 16:11 - Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of GOD, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Galatians 6:9 - And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Rise Up & Declare! A New Day is Dawning in Your Life (5.8.15)

Rise up.

My Child,
Rise up, I say.

For even now the sun is rising in the spiritual realm to declare a new day, a new start in your life. You cried out to Me for new life.  You cried out for a fresh start.  And behold, I am making all things new in your life.

A new day is dawning in your life.

When the storms were raging in your life, you wondered if I heard you, because all you saw around you were dark clouds. My Child, no matter how hard the storms raged; I heard every prayer you prayed. I never ever forgot you. I saw your tears, and I have been working behind the scenes to make your desires come to pass.

The storms distracted you, and for a while, you took your eyes off My promises. However, your distraction never stopped Me from working on the promises I made to you.

While the storm was raging, I was preparing a new beginning for you.

Many things have been put into place and now the sun is breaking through.  Shining its light on a new season in your life.

All the hard times you endured have turned into blessings;
and I will shine My Light on the hidden treasures
that were planted and watered, with faith, in the winter season.

Now, look up and rejoice now,
for the storm has passed
and a new day is at hand.

I want you to start this new season afresh
by surrendering your heart to Me
and renewing your vows.

Let’s begin again,
for a change in the season has come!

MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD:
Psalm 92:13 - Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our GOD.

Psa
lms 126:5-6 - They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him

Isaiah 42:9 - Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them

Revelations 21:5 - And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

Be of Good Courage, Exercise Your Faith & Watch God Do the Impossible in Your Life (5.7.15)

Faith Believers,
Have you ever been in a situation where it seems like suddenly, everything that you've believed in, is not working? You seem to be hit from all sides. Your faith, which once moved mountains, seems to be failing hopelessly. You may even feel, at times, as though the Lord doesn't care for you; and has forsaken you.

I think almost everyone, at some point in their walk, has felt this way.  When you find yourself in a position like this, don’t doubt the Lord. Trust in Him, and know that He has not forsaken you. Have you ever cried, “Oh, Lord, increase my faith?”  Well, greater faith requires greater testing, and now the Lord is giving you a chance for greater promotion in His Kingdom. I know ain't is not a word, but "ain’t GOD good?"

The only way for your faith to grow and get stronger, is through stretching and exercising your faith muscles, to the utmost. The same way we exercise our physical bodies to whip them back into shape; we must do the same things to strengthen our faith, and increase our faith muscles.  Our faith muscles will become soft if they don’t have any work to do.  Therefore, the Lord will allow tests to enter our lives, so that we can exercise those faith muscles; to keep them working at peak performance.

You know the saying, “There can’t be a testimony without a test."

So, the Lord is preparing us for a glorious testimony that will draw us closer to Him, and increase our faith.

I know it may seem like the more you dig in your heels, the attacks become more intense, and you wonder if you're ever going to survive this test. However, we will pass the test if we keep working those faith muscles, and don't give up.  If we continue to press our way, we will get our breakthrough, and then we will see how much stronger our faith has become in the Lord.
________

Hear what God says:

My Child,

I am the Lord of all.
I created all things.
All things exist because I permit them to exist, for My purposes.

Even the difficult situation you find yourself in right now, exists because I have allowed it.  Nothing happens to you without My permission, and this current trial has a purpose; it’s increasing your faith.

Therefore, bring your hardships to Me and stay prayerful.
Keep your faith high, and stop stressing
because you can’t see how this can lead to victory.

Your job is to pray without ceasing, have faith and trust Me.
My job is to bring it to pass.

Now, be of good courage, exercise your faith
and watch Me do the impossible in your life.

MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Luke 17:5 - And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Luke 18:1 - And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always

Ephesians 6:10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

James 1:2-4 - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

1 Peter 4:12-13 - Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy

Lift Your Head Up (5.6.15)

My Child,
There is so much in this world that can discourage or dissuade you
from following the path that I have laid out for you.

And when your head hangs in weariness,
all you tend to see are the obstacles blocking your path.

However, if you lift your head up, you will be able to look beyond what is in front of you, and reflect upon the dreams and visions that I placed in your heart.  Lift your head up, and do not be discouraged by what you see in the natural, but remember that you live this life by faith; and not by what your natural eyes can see.

Lift your head and see all the beautiful things that are around you, as you walk with Me.

Lift your head up and keep your faith high.  Look to the possibility that you can do anything with Me at your side.

Lift your head up, open up your spiritual eyes and focus them on Me.

When you do this, you will see My hands at work.
You will see the possibilities once again.
You will see that these circumstances will work in your favor, and not against you.
In your own strength, you cannot produce all the changes you want to see;
but in Me, all things are possible.
What you cannot do, I can.

It is time to lift your head up. To take your eyes off the natural, and walk by faith. Lift your head and enjoy your journey, for there is so much beauty to see and experience. Lift your head up and have peace in knowing that you are not alone on this journey. Lift your head up and see that I am with you every step of the way.

Now, take hold of My strength, My joy and My power and lift your head up; and let’s move beyond the enemies stumbling blocks.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Genesis 13:14-15 - And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever

Psalm 42:11 - Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in GOD: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my GOD.

Psalm 121:1 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

Isaiah 40:26 - Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith, not by sight

Combating Spiritual Attacks (5.5.15)

For GOD has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind - 2 Timothy 1:7

Faith Believers,
You wake up in the morning, and the thoughts from yesterday’s events bring worry or stress. You think about the day ahead of you and fear or tension fills your heart. Your concern over family members or other relationships begins to weigh down your day before it ever really gets going.

Many of us look at such situations as just normal life. But there is a warfare aspect to these thoughts. GOD’s Word teaches us that He wants us to lay aside fear . . . that worry and anxiety are to be given over to Him.

He wants to set us free from these thoughts that damage our lives.

If GOD wants us free from such thoughts, you can count on the fact that the devil wants us to wallow in these fears. The Christian that spends his or her time worrying or in fear is a Christian who is being made ineffective in kingdom matters.

When the enemy can manipulate our thoughts
away from trusting GOD, he has won a victory.
      - Marilyn

_____

Father,
Grant me Your protection
in the most common areas of spiritual attack:
my mind, my heart, and my mouth.

Help me to keep my thoughts fixed on You.
Keep my heart in Your care.

May my words always please You.
Please help me today to live
completely under Your
Lordship
and in Your victorious care.

Amen

Again I Say, "Expect!" (5.4.15)

Scripture References: Deuteronomy 28:2  ~  Galatians 3:20‐21  ~  James 1:6‐7

Faith Believers,
No matter what you’re going through right now, expect to see the impossible begin to manifest in your life, your ministry and your businesses. GOD desires to do abundantly more in your life than you could ask of Him — above all you could ever imagine or think.

Do you hear that? He desires to do more than we can even think about! Wow! What an awesome GOD we serve!! Can you dream the impossible? Well good. Stretch out on the word of GOD and grab hold to His promises. We must ask in faith, believing that we have received what we have asked, of the Lord.

Ask, and do not doubt.
Ask, and do not waver.
Ask, and just believe.

GOD is calling us to a higher level of expectancy in everything we do.
Settle for nothing less than the power of GOD in every area of your life.

GOD is an awesome GOD!
  - Marilyn

The Lord says:
My Child,
Expect to see the things that you have not been able to move, get out of your way, as you speak Words of Faith. Faith is the key to the supernatural. With Faith, you can go to the throne in confidence and boldness; requesting whatever you need, and knowing beyond the shadow of a doubt, that you have received it.

As you make My Word the ultimate authority, and final say, in your life;
expect My promised blessings to overtake you.

Yes, overtake you.

Expect ministries that have been dormant to emerge with power.
Expect circumstances that looked dead or impossible,
to come alive and turn around quickly.
Expect miraculous healings like never before.

This is your time, this is your season.
Start expecting, for it is My desire to bless you,
with all you need.
