Do Not Let Fear Have Power Over You, Rise Up, for God has Given You the Victory (9.29.17)

My Child,
You’ve been worrying a lot this month. The enemy seems to have come in like a flood and disturbed the peace you once knew.  You're wondering how this fear could have gained a stronghold over you. Now, you’re asking, "Lord, what have I done wrong?"

My child, you haven’t done anything wrong.  The enemy is unleashing strategies of fear against the ones whom I love. However, I say to you, “Fear not, for I Am with you."  Rebuke the spirit of fear and stand in My Name. Choose to believe, that what I have spoken to you is true, and walk in the love that I’ve poured into you.

Draw ever so near to Me, and
My Perfect love will cast out all fear.

Yes, I know you are concerned as to why I would allow
such an attack to come against you.
Child, I allowed it because
I Am teaching you to war.
I Am teaching you to
stand and to fight the good fight of faith, and destroy the works of the enemy.
I Am teaching you to be an overcomer and one who walks in victory, not defeat.

And when you stand and proclaim victory, you will learn that fear
has no power over you; for you are under My Power,
and My Spirit is with you.

Therefore, stand on My Word, fear not and know that I Am with you.  Know that My Promises are true, and that I Have ordained victory for you.

Rise up My Child, and trample over the enemy's tactics of fear that he’s trying to bring against you.

Rise up and know that I have already given you the victory.

Now, go My child and do not let the enemy get in your way.

You have the victory!!

Read and Meditate on God's Word:
Psalm 144:1 - Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 - Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of GOD, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For GOD hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 2:3 - Thou, therefore, endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Do Not Accept Defeat (9.27.17)

My Child,
Why do you go about worrying about what's going to happen tomorrow

Do not be anxious.
Why do you fret?
Do not listen to the enemy or pay attention to the
      lying circumstances that surround you.
Do not accept defeat.
Continue to stand on My Promises.
You should know by now that with Me, Victory is assured.

You have a choice to make.
What will you believe?
Will it be what you feel or see, or
will it be what read in My Word?

My Word never changes; however, the things you see or the things you feel will change. Some may lead you to victory, while others will lead you to be defeated.

But with Me, I will always cause you to be triumphant. What will you believe?
Believe in My Word and do not accept defeat.

Open your spiritual eyes and look past the signs which say you won’t the reap the promise.

Do not rely on how long it is taking, or that things are getting worse.  You must look past these natural and temporal circumstances and hold onto My Word.
My child, for you to reap the benefits of My Promises, you must stand on My Word and walk by faith.

When you walk by faith and rely on Me,
I Will answer your prayers and provide all your needs.

I Will give you wisdom, direct your paths and
lead you out of the wilderness.
I Will provide even streams in the desert for you.
I Am calling you to even a deeper walk with Me, and that calls
for a deeper trust in My Word.
Therefore, those thoughts of defeat must be eliminated.

Yes, you will make it, because My Hand is on you
and I Am calling you forth.

I Am your strength, your righteousness, and I have set you free.
Therefore, I say to you, do not accept defeat, do not be anxious
    and do not fret.

You are not defeated.
You are an overcomer.
You are victorious.

Read and Meditate on God's Word:
Matthew 6:33-34 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

John 10:4-5 - And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

1 Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to GOD, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14 - Now thanks be unto GOD, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Just Ask (9.26.17)

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? - Matthew 7:11

A Word of Encouragement

Faith Believers,
As children of the Most High GOD, often times we forget that it is our Father’s good pleasure to bless us.

Yet, we wonder if we have the right for everything we need (notice I said need not want).  If it matters to you, it matters to GOD.  The Word tells us that we have every right to ask the Lord for what we need.

In Hebrews Chapter 4, Verse 16, it says, “Come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”  Therefore, the Lord is waiting for us to ask for what we need, and to ask boldly.

Luke 12:31-32 - But rather seek ye the kingdom of GOD, and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Ask for what you need and do not allow the enemy to bring condemnation upon you. Do not allow him to cause you to feel unworthy of the promises of the Kingdom. There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ.  Our Lord and Saviour died so that we could have the right to live a blessed life, it belongs to us.  We seem to have forgotten this.
John 10:10 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Remember, we are children of the King.
We are blessed and highly favored.

Therefore, as a child of the King, talk to your Heavenly Father and ask for what you need.  Do not be afraid to ask your Father for what you need.  Just ask, for no good thing will the Lord withhold from His children who are walking with Him.

Just ask.

  -  Marilyn

Listen to His Still Small Voice

My Child,
Know that I have given Myself to you.
I in you and you in Me.

You are mine and I Am yours, whatever concerns you, concerns Me.

I want you to be fully persuaded that what you need will be supplied.  Do not be persuaded by your problems and circumstances.  Instead, be fully persuaded by My Promises.  Be fully persuaded that I Am more than able to watch over My Word and bring it to pass.

Now ask, so that your joy will be full.

Read and Meditate on God's Word:
John 16:24 - Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

John 14:13-14 - And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Psalm 84:11 - For the LORD GOD is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Romans 4:20-21 - He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to GOD; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Lining Up Our Lives with God's Purpose (9.25.17)

I will praise you, O Lord my GOD, with all my heart, I will glorify your name forever - Psalm 86:12.

Faith Believers,
When we pray for the Father in Heaven to be hallowed, we are in fact lining up with GOD’s purposes to destroy the influence of another power-sphere.

We are declaring that GOD’s Name will expel evil from earth itself.

We are lining our lives up with GOD’s purposes to destroy all
the works of the devil, to cast out all hatred, all animosity,
all despair, all disease, all suffering, to remove all things
      that opposes GOD’s Will.

In the end, to pray this prayer is to cast out satan himself through proclaiming that Jesus died for us and rose again all power was given to Him.

He is the risen Lord!
Nothing of this world can stand against Him!!!

~ Prayer ~
Jesus,
I glorify Your Name!

Help me to line up my life with Your Purposes,
so that the works of the devil will be destroyed
in my life, and in the lives of others.

As I yield myself to Your Spirit, use me to encourage those
who are downtrodden, and use my gifts and resources
to lift up those who suffer.

I pray this prayer in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Amen

Love, Forgiveness and Mercy (9.24.17)

Faith Believers,
Jesus had enemies…and they crucified Him.
Yet, as we know, He had the ultimate victory in the end.

Because GOD loved the world so much that He sent Jesus to die, His Son did not leave the earth without praying for those who were responsible for His death. Jesus told us to love and pray for our enemies; and He demonstrated the ultimate gift of love while hanging on the cross: Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing - Luke 23:34.

Jesus prayed for His enemies…how can we not do the same?

One of the most amazing commands of Christ is to love our enemies.
In our flesh, we naturally want to retaliate or fight back
when we are treated unkindly or persecuted.

Jesus preached forgiveness and mercy: Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful - Luke 6:36. His lifestyle demonstrated grace, that ours might also. He took this command one step further, Pray for those who persecute you - Matthew 5:44.

Because of GOD’s mercy, we were saved.
We must extend His mercy to those who are still
enemies of GOD so that they will also receive
     what we have been given.

~ Prayer ~
Merciful GOD,
How blessed it is to walk with a kingdom mindset…
to see those who mistreat me as people whom
You love and care about, even though they have
     caused me great pain.

Give me a gentle spirit, a spirit that is willing to minister
to those who misuse me and speak ill of me.

Allow me the grace to bless them and pray for them,
so that You will receive honor, glory and praise!

Amen

Cling to God's Promises, Do Not Let Your Hope Fade (9.22.17)

My Child,
You read My Promises, and you start out believing, but when My Promises seem to tarry, your faith in Me fades away. I say to you, do not let your hope fade, for My Word is alive. My Word will do what I said My Word would do.  My Promise will come to pass because it has been spoken out of the mouth of your God.

Do not give up hope and do not
     let your vision slip away.
Keep it alive by feeding on My Word.

My Child, with Me, one day is as a thousand. Therefore, you must be patient, have faith in Me and learn to trust in My Timing.

Do not let your hope fade.  Instead, cling to the hope of the scriptures. I know the promises seem to tarry; nevertheless, do not give up, for they will come to pass.

If you give up hope, then it is your first step in returning to a past that will lead to your destruction.  Do not allow the enemy to steal what I planted in your heart. Do not allow him to cause you to doubt My Word; for if you do, he will steal everything from you. Believe again and stand on My Word.

This day, renew your vows, take a stand,
and then let hope come alive in your life.

My promises are true, and I will not fail. While the world around you may appear to be falling apart, remember, you are only living in this world; you are not of the world.

Now, let hope come alive in you, for I want you to be
a light that shines brightly in a world
     that's growing dim.

Hold fast to your faith, and do not allow the Word I gave you
     to fall on rocky ground.

Keep My Word alive in your heart,
     keep it alive.

You have a great calling and a purpose, so cling to My Promises and be faithful to Me; for I Will always be faithful to you.

Trust in Me and love Me with all your heart, soul and mind.
Then hold fast to your faith in Me, and patiently wait
for My Word to come to pass in your life.

My Child, you are not alone.
I Am with you.

Cling to My promises, and you will see that it is
not too late for Me to work a miracle in your life
.

Read and Meditate on His Word:
Romans 4:18 - Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

Psalm 31:24 - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Psalm 43:5 - Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my GOD.

Psalm 71:14 - But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

Ezekiel 37:14 - And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of GOD in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of GOD by us.

Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;).

Victory is Near!! Release the Pain of Your Trails, Cast it onto God & Press Forward (9.21.17)

Habakkuk 2:3 - For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

My Child,
Hold onto the promise I gave you.
Keep the vision before you.

Hold onto your confession of faith, which you made
     when I spoke the promises
over your life.

This test of endurance, this trial of your faith is SPECIFIC!  It is happening in response to your prayers; therefore, hold onto the promise and not the pain.

Release the pain, cast it onto Me and press forward.

Do not give up!
Do not quit!
Do not throw the towel in
just because it has not come to pass.

Know this one thing, I Am aware of what you are going through, and you need
patience to endure faithfully to the end.

Victory is near!

Remember My servant Joseph?
Let’s talk about Joseph for a minute.

I gave Joseph many dreams and visions; however, he was not ready to receive them.  Nevertheless, he knew that I was with him, and that alone enabled him to thrive in captivity, and endure, to experience His destiny!  He chose to hold onto My promise and not the pain. Oh, his pain was real - and your pain is real; however, My promise is of a greater reality.

Romans 8:18 - Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.

Do not throw in the towel on My Word, which has been steadfast for you. Do not cast away your confidence in what I have promised you.

Endure this hardship, go through this situation
as one of My good soldiers.

Do not lose the hope that you have in My Word.

Why Should I Feel Discouraged... For I Know He Watches Me (9.20.17)

Faith Believers,
I refuse to be discouraged, to be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be brokenhearted,
And here are the reasons why......

  • I have a GOD Who Is mighty,
    Who Is sovereign and supreme;
I have a GOD who loves me, And I am on His Team.

  • He is all-wise and powerful, Jesus is His Name;
    Though everything is changeable,
    My Lord remains the same.

  • My GOD knows all that's happening;
Beginning to the end, His presence is my comfort,
    He is my dearest friend.

  • When sickness comes to weaken me,
    to bring my head down low;
I call upon my mighty GOD, Into His Arms I go.

  • When circumstances threaten to rob me of my peace;
He draws me close unto His Breast,
    Where all my strivings cease.

  • And when my heart melts within me,
    and weakness takes control;
He gathers me into His Arms,
He soothes my heart and soul.

  • The great "I AM" is with me,
    my life is in His Hand;
The "Son of GOD" is my hope,
It's in His Strength I stand.

  • I refuse to be defeated,
    My eyes are on my GOD;
He has promised to be with me,
As through this life I trod.

  • I'm looking past all my circumstances,
    to Heaven's throne above;
My prayers have reached the heart of GOD,
    I'm resting in His Love.

  • I give GOD thanks in everything,
    My eyes are on His Face;
The battle is His, the victory is mine,
He will help me win the race.

Have a blessed day!!
Thank GOD for what you have,
Trust GOD for what you need.

Be Not Afraid (9.19.17)

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your GOD who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. - Deuteronomy 31:6

Faith Believers,
What is the most common command in the Bible, appearing in one form or another, more than 300 times?

It is, “Do not be afraid.”

Why should we not be afraid?
Because, as GOD told Joshua in Deuteronomy, if we are a follower of Christ, GOD is with us. In fact, one of Jesus’ titles is “Immanuel,” meaning “GOD with us” (Isaiah 7:14)

What or who do we often fear the most? People.
But GOD’s Word says we should fear GOD, not people.

Proverbs 29:25 says, “The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe.”
Below are some different kinds of fear, and how GOD’s Word
can help us to combat them:

- People can and will insult us.

Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. - Matthew 5:11

Jesus says that we are BLESSED when people insult us for His sake. Why? Because it means we are following Jesus in a way that people actually notice, and that some will react against (see also John 15:18-19; 1 Peter 3:14).

- People can harm us.

In Acts 5, the Apostles were put on trial for preaching the gospel. They were sort of acquitted, but then they were beaten. Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name - Acts 5:41.
And what did they do right afterward?  Every day they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus - Acts 5:43.

- People can kill us.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. - Matthew 10:28

These words of Jesus were not just theoretical; most of His disciples wound up being martyred.
Even today, in rare cases, people are being killed because of their Christian faith. But in light of eternity, as long as we are headed for Heaven, even losing our life is not that bad. And dying for Christ’s sake is a high honor.

In Matthew 28:18-20, when Jesus commanded the disciples to take His message to the end of the world, he reassured them by saying, “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

What are some other fears that can hinder us?

- Fear of imagined circumstances.

The sluggard says, 'There is a lion outside! I shall be killed in the streets!' - Proverbs 22:13.

Our fears are often much worse than what actually happens. A “sluggard” is a lazy person; so this verse tells us that yielding to imaginary fears can actually be a way to avoid responsibility.

- Fear of displeasing people.

Galatians 1:10 says, For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of GOD? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I can not be a servant of Christ.
The bottom line is, when we are fearing people, it is because we are insecure about ourselves. Strangely enough, insecurity about ourselves stems from pride and/or being preoccupied with what others think about us. And yet, our issues usually go unnoticed because most people are too busy thinking about themselves. It’s like a teenager who thinks everyone is staring at a flaw on his face, when actually most people don’t even notice or care about the flaw.

When we truly have confidence in our right standing before the Lord, we won’t give much thought to what people think about us. Passages like this should describe us: So we can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?’ - Hebrews 13:6

And finally, one of my favorites. Pray this for your friends and ask them to pray, that the Holy Spirit would make it true in your life as well: The righteous are bold as a lion - Proverbs 28:1b.

  -  Marilyn

~ Prayer ~
Father,
Thank You that You are always with me.

Thank You, Jesus, that You are Immanuel,
and You are always with me.

Help me to live in the confidence that comes from knowing
that You will never leave me nor forsake me.

Amen.
