A New Years Eve Prayer (12.31.21)

Father,
Help me, to trust You, today.

Empower me to live in the shadow of The Cross;
      and to remember Your Faithfulness, in every
      circumstance.

With this New Year approaching, strengthen my faith in you; so that I can face each day with the assurance of Who You Are; who I Am, in You; that I Am Yours; and that You want the very best for me, always.

You Know everything that will take place in the future.  Help me to stay 'present,' in the present - and not to start worrying ahead.

Teach me to put my trust in You, always; regardless of what might take place.  Regardless of what I "see" with my natural eyes.  Regardless of what others might say or do (or not do).

I surrender everything to You, Father God, right now - in the Mighty Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Right now.  Right now.  Right now.  I surrender all.  I surrender it all.  I surrender everything.

Lord, I want to live the coming year - 2022 - FOR YOU and WITH YOU.  Increasing my entire being to be a Vessel for You, to draw closer to Your Son (& the example He set for me, when He walked among us) and to be 'more aware' of Your Holy Spirit, which lives inside of me.

Holy Spirit, You are welcome, here in my life, my heart, my home, my work, everywhere I go, everywhere I am.  Fill the atmosphere wherever I am.  Let me be mindful that You are with me always, Holy Spirit.  Holy Spirit, I ask that You walk with me; talk to me; speak through me; show me the right way; be with me always; permeate my heart, mind, spirit, speech; and protect me and my loved ones.

Protect me and my loved ones from all evil, Holy Spirit, right now and forever.  Protect me and my loved ones from our worldly selves, Holy Spirit, right now and forever.  Show me and my loved ones when we err, and show us the way that God and Jesus would have us to go, Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit.
Set me straight.
Correct me, when I 'wayward' walk.
When I lose my way, 'Right Way' my path.

This prayer I pray,
In the matchless Name
     of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,

Amen
Amen
Yes & Amen

Amen

#ScriptureReflection - Luke 2:22-35 (12.30.21)

When the days were completed for their purification
according to the law of Moses,
the parents of Jesus took him up to Jerusalem
to present him to the Lord,
just as it is written in the law of the Lord,
Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord,
and to offer the sacrifice of
a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons,
in accordance with the dictate in the law of the Lord.

Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon.
This man was righteous and devout,
awaiting the consolation of Israel,
and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit
that he should not see death
before he had seen the Christ of the Lord.
He came in the Spirit into the temple;
and when the parents brought in the child Jesus
to perform the custom of the law in regard to him,
he took him into his arms and blessed God, saying:

“Lord, now let your servant go in peace;
your word has been fulfilled:
my own eyes have seen the salvation
which you prepared in the sight of every people,
a light to reveal you to the nations
and the glory of your people Israel.”

The child’s father and mother were amazed at what was said about him;
and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother,
“Behold, this child is destined
for the fall and rise of many in Israel,
and to be a sign that will be contradicted
(and you yourself a sword will pierce)
so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”

#ScriptureReflection - 1 John 2:3-11 (12.29.21)

Beloved:
The way we may be sure that we know Jesus
is to keep his commandments.
Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not keep his commandments
is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoever keeps his word,
the love of God is truly perfected in him.
This is the way we may know that we are in union with him:
whoever claims to abide in him ought to walk just as he walked.

Beloved, I am writing no new commandment to you
but an old commandment that you had from the beginning.
The old commandment is the word that you have heard.
And yet I do write a new commandment to you,
which holds true in him and among you,
for the darkness is passing away,
and the true light is already shining.

Whoever says he is in the light,
yet hates his brother, is still in the darkness.
Whoever loves his brother remains in the light,
and there is nothing in him to cause a fall.
Whoever hates his brother is in darkness;
he walks in darkness
and does not know where he is going
because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Be Not Discouraged, Do Not Back Down, Put On the Full Armor God Gave You & MOVE FORWARD! (12.28.21)

Beloved,
Some of you are staying strong, believing in Me, discerning and putting your faith first - looking at all things through your spiritual eyes.

And some of you are simply discouraged.  Wavering, questioning, crying out in pain or desperation.

To My Beloved who are the latter and not the former, I Say to you, this day, with All of My Love, Power and Wisdom - Beloved, you cannot lose hope now.  Beloved, you have come too far to give up. Beloved, what has happened in your life to make you think that I Cannot bring you out of this situation?  What has happened to shatter, shred or shake your faith in Me?  Your faith in Our Father?  Know this Beloved...  I Can. And I Will.  I Can and I Will Bring you out of this.

I Will take what seems like an impossible situation, and cause you to say, “Only Jesus could have worked this out.” Beloved, you do not have time to be discouraged and give up hope. I Have been going before you, putting things in order.  Therefore, right now, right now, right now - you do not have time to be discouraged.  You do not have time to give up hope.  You only have time to look toward the hills where your help cometh from.  For the mighty, mighty work; the mighty, mighty victory; the mighty, mighty harvest is ALREADY on its way.  Your faith, your belief, your mindset, your words and your actions are what will release all that I have made happen for you.

Nothing will be able to touch you or throw you off guard, for I Am doing a complete work within you.

I Have Seen your struggles. I Have Seen what you are going through.  I Have Been there, working on your behalf, dispatching angels, making crooked ways straight.  For those of you who are encouraged, keep going, keep striving.  For those of you who are discouraged, please do not lose hope. Do not believe the lies of the enemy. Instead, cling to the promises I Have given to you. Then, when the storms are over (and very soon, they will be over); you will get up changed, made new, and you will walk into the fullness of your calling.

Do not back down;.  Suit up in the armor Our Father has provided for you.  And move forward.

Do not back down;.  Suit up in the armor Our Father has provided for you.  And move forward.

Do not back down;.  Suit up in the armor Our Father has provided for you.  And move forward.

Those who try to slow you down, will not be successful. Those who try to block your path, will not be successful.  Those who try to distract you, will not be successful.  Those who try to bring confusion and/or chaos to your world, will not be successful.  No longer will they be a hindrance in your walk.  I will say that again, no longer will they be a hinderance in your walk.  Continue to stay focused on Me, My Father and The Word; and you will see them move swiftly out of your way.  Oh yes, they will try - but you WILL NOT be hindered; and they WILL NOT be successful.  For you will move swiftly and stealthy, around them, over them, under them and sometimes, through them.

Beloved, I Want you to set your sights on things above, and do not - be not - do not be thrown 'off guard' by the 'so-called successes of men trying to deceive you,' they are in My Hands, Beloved. I Am handling them.

I Want you to stay focused on Me, with your whole being.
I Want you to stay focused on Me, with your whole heart.
I Want you to stay focused on Me, with your whole mind.
I Want you to stay focused on Me, with your whole body.
I Want you to stay focused on Me, with your whole soul.
I Want you to stay focused on Me, with your whole tongue.

So, please do not give up.
For, others are depending on you.
Others are depending on you.
Generations are depending on you.
The world is depending on you.

I Am depending on you.
Our Father Is depending on you.
The Holy Spirit is walking with you.
The Ancestors are depending on you.
The Angels are depending on you.

Be faithful to The Call.
Be faithful to YOUR Call.
For Beloved, you are called.
Yes.... You.  Are.  Called.

So again, be faithful to The Call, and you shall be rewarded with blessings untold.

Trust Me to provide for your every need.
Trust Me to lift you up, out of despair,
      and into heavenly blessings.
Trust Me, Beloved.
Trust Me.

Therefore, I say unto you.
Do not be discouraged.
Increase your walk with Me.
Increase your faith in Me.
Draw in more of Me (& less of you).

I Have not forsaken you.
I Love you.
I Am with you, always.
Our Father is with you, always.
Our Holy Spirit is with you, always.

You are never, ever alone.
Now move forward.
Walk.
Jog.
Run.
Fly.

Into. Your. Calling.......

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Deuteronomy 31:8 - And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Galatians 6:9 - But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 - We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Ephesians 6:12-13 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Hebrews 12:3 - For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

'God Asks Us to be Agents of Transfiguration' ~ Honoring Archbishop Desmond Tutu.... #InHisOwnWords (12.27.21)

On yesterday, December 26, 2021, one of the "true Lights of this World' earned their angel wings, went on to be with the Lord and takes his rightful place among the ancestors.  A prolific preacher and orator; a Nobel peace prize recipient; a relentless and consistent anti-apartheid activist, credited with being one of the key few to helm the dismantling of South Africa's racist apartheid system; a very vocal humanitarian; and most importantly, a willing, active vessel for God.  For all of Bishop Tutu's titles, the one he wore the proudest was "Child of The Most High God."

Bishop Tutu made countless speeches, gave countless interviews and there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of videos - all worthy, wonderful, #speakLife, uplifting messages.  This day we choose to honor Bishop Tutu with this "for such a time as this," timeless message, an acceptance speech that he delivered in February 2003.  He speaks of a few things, and he speaks of the Angel Gabriel visit to Mary, the conversation around what history would call the "Immaculate Conception."  Bishop speaks on the interaction between Joseph and the Innkeeper, as the inevitable Birth of Christ was coming - and Joseph's possible perspective at that time.

Ultimately Bishop shares that we, like them, are being called, asked by God.  "God asks us to be agents of transfiguration."  Bless.  And be a blessing.

(Oct. 7, 1931 - Dec. 26, 2021)

Acceptance Speech for the Père Marquette Discovery Award

Marquette University
Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA)
February 12, 2003

Thank you so very, very much for this great distinction bestowed on me; that I should be finding myself in such a galaxy of luminaries who have received this award before me. Thank you so very, very much, all of you and this great university. I have usually said of distinctions of this kind that I receive them in a representative capacity, that the real heroes and heroines are the millions back home who are the real stalwarts of our struggle. And I have frequently said when one is in a crowd and stands out, it is only because one is being carried on the shoulders of others. After all what is a leader without followers?

Now don't get the idea, 'Oh isn't he nice, he's so modest.' I'm not conventionally modest, I can assure you, and I have to tell a story that I've repeated many times. My wife and I were visiting West Point Military Academy, and at the end of the visit the cadets gave me a cap as a memento. It did not fit. And a nice wife would have said, 'Oh the cap is too small.' My wife, speaking from the knowledge of 48 years of marriage, said, "His head is too big."

Isn't it quite extraordinary how God chooses to operate in the world? This omnipotent, omniscient one who created us without our help. How it is that God has seemed to insist that with the advent of humans God would never again undertake any project on earth without enlisting the partnership, the collaboration of God's human creatures? And so God creates woman and man in God's image and they are from then expected to act as God's representatives, God's stand-ins, God's stewards operating on behalf of God with God in tandem as co-creators, as collaborators to have dominion over the rest of God's creation.

And then there is the call of Abraham, which is a prelude to the call of an entire people to be a light to the nations. To be collaborators with God in the God project, the divine enterprise of redeeming God's creation to bring all things to unity in Christ Jesus, all that had disintegrated because of the fissiparousness, the centrifugal power of sin. Just one example which could be a paradigm is how God sets out to redeem the Israelites from bondage in Egypt. No one doubts that God could, in a sense did, accomplish the exodus with no help from anyone. And yet look at the pains God took to persuade Moses to be God's partner, being willing to jeopardize the success of this enterprise by having a bungling fellow worker.

"Moses."

"Hi God."

"Will you please go down to Pharaoh?"

"What? God, you can't be serious. Do you know why I am here in Midian? It was to escape the wrath of Pharaoh and you want me to do what? To go back there? No, God. And in any case God..." And he's telling the omniscient one, "You know God, I... I... I... I...I stammer. Please send Aaron, he is eloquent."

Remarkable that God had to spend so much time when God could just have gone ahead with the business of the exodus. After all, it was God who'd visit the Egyptians with the plagues and it would be God's power that would let the waters of the Red Sea overwhelm the host of Egypt. It must be that God took very seriously the contribution, however miniscule, from God's human partner. It was for real that God wanted it always to be a theandric project. We see, too, in the way God had to convince a very reluctant Jeremiah to take on the onerous vocation, really a thankless task, of being Yahweh's prophet. To persuade this sensitive retiring soul, God makes a tremendous assertion. "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you." Translated to mean, "Hey, you are not an afterthought, Jeremiah. You have been part of my plans, my purpose for all eternity."

None of us is an afterthought. None of us is an accident. We might some of us look like accidents, but none, none is. Which is fantastic. All this just so that God would have a human collaborator in the divine enterprise. Or you might imagine something like:

"Knock, knock."

"Who's there?"

"Gabriel."

"Gabriel, who?"

"Gabriel, the archangel. Hello Mary."

"Hello."

"Mary, God would like you to be the mother of His Son."

"What? You really can't be serious. Do you know in this village you can't scratch yourself without everybody knowing about it? And you want me to be what? An unmarried mother! Sorry, I'm a decent girl. Try next door."

Had that been the final response, we would have been up a creek. Mercifully, she said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be done to me according to Thy word." And the whole universe breathed a cosmic sigh of relief and the Incarnation could happen and our salvation be on the way to being accomplished.

Those who would be so enlisted would be persons who might help to reflect the characteristics of their divine partner. The world we inhabit has always been the theatre of power play. Mostly the powerful would seem to exercise power that was coercive, that would be expressed through verbs in the imperative mood. God's power turned out to be different. God's power mostly was persuasive power that thought to woo the other, not to control, not to manipulate the other. It turned out to be kenotic power. Power demonstrated in being poured out, emptied on behalf of others. This seems to be the only way God could be God. Where from all eternity to all eternity, the Father poured out all the Father's being into the Son who in return poured out His being in a mutual self-emptying and this dynamic way of being was Holy Spirit, binding the three with this eternal movement of self-emptying donation.

And so when God created us, then there was no way in which God could reject the gift of personhood, with its freedom to choose to love or to hate, to obey or to disobey, to accept or to reject the gift of divine love and life. God would show forth a profound reverence for our creaturely autonomy, our personal space. So that God would much rather we went freely to hell, than compel us to go to heaven. And whenever we made, or were about to make the wrong choice, God did not intervene except in a rejectable offer of grace to choose right. God could, only as it went, look on impotently and there was nothing that God could do to nullify our freedom. All God could do was to wait eagerly, expectantly, impotently, for the prodigal to return from the far country. And when God spied us way, way in the distance, God thrust aside, threw off all the divine right to heavenly dignity. And God lifted God's skirt to reveal His ankles brazenly and shamelessly; to rush undignifiedly down the main street of the village to the chagrin of the pompous ones to embrace the lost one who had been found, the dead one who had come to life again. To embrace this one covered in the crime of a pigsty, smelling to high heaven, to smother him with kisses, having the servants dress him in the best robe and to have the fatted calf killed causing so much consternation outraging the prim and proper ones.

Being a God of disgracefully loose standards who let there be greater joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 who needed no repentance. The divine power is shown more gloriously, most paradoxically, in witness in the one who emptied himself of all claims to divine dignity and authority and took on the form of a servant. Being born, not in a royal palace, but in a stable — of parents who did not even have the clout to get a room in the village inn.

You might have heard the story of the Nativity play, which went a little awry, and it says: Joseph rushes up to the innkeeper and says, "Please, please help. My wife is pregnant and she is about to give birth."

The innkeeper says, "It's not my fault."

And Joseph says, "It's not mine either!"

This one who became obedient even unto death, the supreme, the ultimate form of kenosis, of self-emptying, and not a particularly attractive form of death but excruciating even down to death of a notorious felon. St. John referred hardly ever to Jesus dying, but almost always to his glorification, his exaltation, his being lifted up, and always not for self-aggrandizement but for the sake of others. I, if I be lifted up, will draw all to me. This is my body, given up for you. My blood shed for you and my life given as a ransom for many. Therefore God has highly exalted him. And it turns out that there is no other way to true glory.

In the world we have seen so frequently people seeking power of all kinds. Especially coercive, controlling power, shunting others around. The power of money, political power, military power, prestige — power ultimately for self-glorification, for self-aggrandizement. And we have equally, frequently been attracted to such as moths to a light. It has hardly ever been that it was life-enhancing for others. It has mesmerized and attracted hangers-on, frequently again kowtowing, sycophantic, obsequious...Telling the boss what they think the boss wants to know. Not often the uncomfortable awkward truths.

And yet a paradoxical feature of our success-oriented societies is that these hard-nosed, often cynical ones revere not the macho, the aggressive ones. No, it is such as a Mother Theresa, a Mahatma Ghandi, a Martin Luther King, Jr., a Dalai Lama, a Nelson Mandela. Now in different ways they have been our leaders who have reflected a divine pattern of power vulnerable, weak, persuasive, kenotic. If almost without exception suffered, which is a good sign of not being, of not doing, something for self-aggrandizement. They have possessed few, if any, of the conventional instruments of coercive power. Theirs has been a life poured out on behalf of others, and people have recognized something they seem to have known in their tribal past. They have recognized goodness. They have antennae, which hone in on goodness, on caring, on compassion, on gentleness, on wanting to coax the best out of others. God wants to enlist us, you and me, in the God project, in the God enterprise, as God's fellow workers.

Not paragons of perfection, anything but. For almost always, God's servants, partners, have been flawed. Abraham was ready to pass off his wife as his sister to save his skin. Moses was short-tempered, breaking the tablets of the Law written by God's hand. David was an adulterer. Peter denied his master not once, but three times. Saul was the persecutor of the infant Christian community. And even after his conversion had a very short fuse and was given to a great deal of self-justification and could wish that his circumcising opponents in Galatia would mutilate themselves. Yes, we have this treasure in earthenware vessels so that it can be clear the abundant glory belongs to God. God the dreamer, the utopian, who believes that we his human creatures are family; created for togetherness, to live in a delicate network of complementarity and interdependence. God enlists us in the God project of realizing this dream; the actualization of being the family of God; the rainbow people of God.

God asks us to be agents of transfiguration; the God who could transfigure an instrument of the most excruciatingly painful and shameful death so that it becomes the source of a tingling, effervescent, bubbling eternal life. To proclaim that nothing, no one, no situation could ever be untransfigurable. Nothing, no one, no situation is beyond redemption, is totally devoid of hope. This God who could snuff out all troublemakers, does not dispatch perpetrators of evil, those who rule unjustly and oppress others. No, God waits, waits on us as those who will provide the bread and the fish so that God can perform God's miracles to end injustice and oppression, to end war, disease and ignorance. This God who, apart from us, will not — as we, apart from God, cannot.

And your, and your, and your particular contribution, your part in this, is in fact indispensable. For you are unique. And I tell people that on one occasion, for one of our birthdays, my wife gave me a birthday card, which is the least you can expect from your spouse. It showed on the outside a dove and...a couple with a nice caption: "We have a beautiful and unique relationship."

That's lovely. And then when you turn on the inside and it says, "I am beautiful and you are certainly unique."

There is mercifully no one quite like me, not even my twin. You remember how in a symphony orchestra, they're all dolled out — the players in formalwear — and they play some of those spectacular instruments, the cellos, the violins, the oboes, the French horns, the harp. And often in the back of the orchestra is someone dressed equally formally with a triangle, and in an elaborate work, the conductor will conduct the orchestra going off and they go voom, voom, voom. And now and again he will point to that person in the back and quite seriously and so solemnly he will strike the triangle — ping.

Now that might seem insignificant, and yet in the conception of the composer something indispensable would be lost to the total beauty of the composition if that ping did not happen there. We may not all accomplish spectacular achievements but something will go missing that is irreplaceable if we, if our peculiar contribution were to go missing. God quite breathtakingly and believably needs us, needs you, needs me. We could never be presumptuous to think that we have been chosen because of our moral, intellectual or other excellence...

...God's standards are low; God's standards are very high too. We have been called to be like God. Perfect as God is perfect. Holy as God is holy. Compassionate as God is compassionate. And so in a way the world does not comprehend, but will almost always admire, we must let our sun shine on the good and the bad. Let our rain fall on the just and the unjust. We are to have the bias of God who has a soft spot for the weak, for the oppressed, for the marginalized, for sinners. God's favorites in the Scriptures are the widow, the orphan, and the alien, in most societies those with the least clout, the weakest of the weak. Thus God companied not with us bishops and such like, but with prostitutes, with the despised, with sinners, the scum of society, the most marginalized. That is where we would be. To be there for them. To be kenotic. Those who's lives are poured out on behalf of others. Who must scandalize the world as we get to love not to hate our enemies. As we pray for those who abuse us. As we bless and not curse those who deal with us spitefully. It would all be foolishness to the world who says, "Give as good as you get. You must strike preemptively before they get you."

God is crazy. How can the omnipotent be so weak as to die so shamefully on the cross? How can the eternal die? The foolishness of God is wiser than men. The weakness of God is stronger than men. In a culture that makes an obsession, a fetish, of activity, busyness and achievement, perhaps nothing seems so foolish for being at odds with a prevalent culture than those who, who do nothing but seek to be quiet as they spend themselves in contemplation. "What are you doing to justify your existence?" the world asks. We try to be still and so to know God. We will discover perhaps, one day, how much we have owed for our continued existence to those who chose the better thing, to sit quietly at the master's feet. To be just there. To be.

Ultimately, it is the power of the cross that overcomes evil and death. It is the power of love that overcomes hate. Unless we take up our cross to follow our Master, we cannot be his disciples. A church that does not suffer cannot be the church of this Jesus Christ. And only through that cross can it be that I, if I be lifted up, will draw all to me. And we may suffer to witness that in this family, there are no outsiders. All belong as insiders. All belong in this family. All, not some. All. Black and white, rich and poor, learned and ignorant, gay and straight, women and men, young and old, Serbs and Albanians, Palestinians and Israelis. All. Sharon and Arafat, Roman Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland. All. All belong. George Bush, Saddam Hussein. All. Colin Powell, Bin Laden. All. All are members of one family. Sisters and brothers. One family, the human family, God's family, the rainbow people of God. And for Jesus, family is not just a nice, sentimental figure of speech. It is one of the most radical, literal truths Jesus uttered.

For he could say to a Mary Magdalene after his resurrection, speaking of those who had betrayed, who had denied, who had forsaken him, "Go and tell my brothers. Go and tell my brothers I ascend to my Father and their Father."

How could we contemplate so nonchalantly, as if we were ordering our breakfast, the prospect of visiting devastation and death on these others if we are family? How could we go on spending such obscene amounts on budgets of death and destruction, when we know that a small fraction of those budgets could ensure that those others had clean water, enough to eat, a good education, adequate health care, secure homes, if they are indeed family?

God weeps as God looks on what we are doing, on what we are contemplating doing to one other. The just war theory, amongst other things, postulates that a legitimate authority declares and wages war. A war against Iraq declared unilaterally by the United States would be one not declared by a legitimate authority and so would be immoral. God smiles through the tears to see the many who oppose this war.

This is a great, great country, a generous country, a compassionate country, a country that helped Nelson Mandela come out of prison, a country which helped make South Africa free and democratic. That is your legacy, your tradition. Why want to tarnish it with a war most of the world opposes? Help to wipe the tears from God's eyes. For God says, "Yes you and you and you, you can make a difference. You can help me realize my dream that my children, my children, you are family."

The Key to Removing Discouraging Thoughts, Circumstances & Situations..... (12.26.21)

My Child,
Why are some of you allowing discouraging thoughts to fill your mind?
Why do some of you think that I Won’t do, what I Promised.

Know this Child, not keeping My Word goes against My Very Nature.

I Am true to My Word.
And My Word shall not return
     to Me, void.

Yes, there is good and bad in the world. However, for too many of you, your focus has been on the bad; and you’ve overlooked - you've missed - all the good. Some of you are focusing on the future, what you think your plans are, your control, what you see through your earthly eyes and all of what those things hold; so much so, that many of you have missed the things I Have done.  And what I Am doing.

The key to removing discouraging thoughts (, discouraging circumstances & situations), is to praise Me in the now.

Praise Me for the everyday things which bless your life.
Praise Me for the air you breathe, a place to sleep, food to eat,
     and clothes to wear.
Praise Me for the fact that you opened your eyes this morning.
Praise Me for the things you take for granted.

Praise Me, continually, and then you will see...  Praise and thanksgiving will send those discouraging thoughts from your mind, and change the atmosphere around you.

Praising Me will drive those hindering thoughts and spirits away.
Praising Me will bring honor and glory to My Name.
Praising Me will bring you peace, My Peace, the peace that surpasses
     all understanding.
Praising Me will shut the foolishness down.
Praising Me will ease and re-direct your mind and heart.
Praising Me will "arrest" your mouth and tongue from all the
     complaining and belly-aching over situations and people that
      you did not create and cannot control.

My Precious Beautiful Brilliant Child, I Love you.
I Care for you.
I Have a heart for you.
I Created you.
I Champion for you.
I Want the very, very best for you.

And.
I Do not want you to be discouraged.....
     Ever again.
     Anymore.

You are Mine.
Therefore you are a Child of the Most High.
My Child.
Be forever and always encouraged.
Uplifted.
Walk in your Anointing.
Walk in your Royal Status.
Walk with your head held high always.

I Love you.

Therefore turn each and every one of, what some of you perceive with your human eyes.  Put on your "spiritual eyes."  Try to see things how I See things, for just a moment or two.  "See" it all differently.

And walk into your Highest Power
Walk into My Mighty Power.
Walk in the same Power as My Son Jesus.
For you, My Child, are My Son or My Daughter, too.

So walk, move, flow, pivot and operate in that Divine Light.
The Diving Light I bestowed on you.
The Divine Light that I have been waiting, hoping, trying
     to lead you.
To walk in.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Isaiah 55:10-11 - For as the rain comes down, and the snow from the heavens, and does not return there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring out and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do.

Philippians 4:8 - Finally, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think on these things.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus concerning you.

A 2021 Very Merry Christmas Devotional (12.25.21)

This Very Merry Christmas Devotional
 is written by Kim Butts
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!
May we never lose focus of the meaning of Christmas. Jesus was sent into this world, by Our Father, to share the good news of Christ. However, this world has commercialized Christmas into a money making occasion that most times has nothing to do with Jesus.
This Christmas celebrate the reason, which is Jesus!! As families come together to partake in festivities, let your loved ones know that Jesus loves them.
As we approach the end of 2021, so many people have faced trials and losses in their lives, which were devastating; and so some people are feeling as if there is no reason to celebrate Christmas. Regardless, GOD Is still in control; and He Knows what you are going through. GOD Has promised to never leave you nor forsake you.
May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and GOD our Father - Who loved us, and by His Grace, gave us eternal encouragement and good hope - encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word - 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
Father GOD, prepare our hearts to be strong. We want to be blameless and holy in Your Presence when Your Son, Jesus, returns. Please encourage us and strengthen us in every good deed and every good word, as we celebrate the coming of the Christ Child.
And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord - Luke 1:17
Lord GOD, prepare our hearts to be turned toward family. Draw us together as a family so that we will become a people prepared for You.  Help us to be clean and pure, before You, as we celebrate the coming of the Christ Child.
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of GOD. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in GOD. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory - Colossians 3:1
Lord GOD, prepare our hearts to be set on things above.  We have new life because Your Son came to this earth as a baby, lived a sinless life, died on the Cross and rose again! Help us to set our hearts on things above - on You, Your Son Jesus and The Holy Spirit (those things that are above) - as we celebrate Christmas and wait for the Blessed Coming of the Christ Child.
#ScriptureReflection - Luke 1:45-55 (12.24.21)
 45  Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
The Song of Mary
46  And Mary said:
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
47  And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
48  For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;
For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.
49  For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
And holy is His name.
50  And His mercy is on those who fear Him
From generation to generation.
51  He has shown strength with His arm;
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52  He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
And exalted the lowly.
53  He has filled the hungry with good things,
And the rich He has sent away empty.
54  He has helped His servant Israel,
In remembrance of His mercy,
55  As He spoke to our fathers,
To Abraham and to his seed forever.”
#ScriptureReflection - Luke 2:6-12 (12.23.21)
So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Glory in the Highest
Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10  Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11  For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12  And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
The Storms in Your Life..... (12.22.21)
My Child,
As a ship is tossed about in the ocean, some of you, too often feel tossed about by your circumstances. However, some of you, in this moment, fail to realize; these same waves contain the power to take the boat to its destination. Those strong, powerful winds will catch the sails and transport the vessel, through the rough waters; and although it may not be comfortable, it will reach its destination.
In other words, some of you have complained about the strong winds blowing, and the discomfort they bring; however, these same winds hold the power to push some of you to your destinations. Some of you are so focused on the discomfort, that you are not harnessing the power - your power - of (and in) these situations.
Instead of fighting against them, embrace them, and learn to ride them.
Learn to ride waves, and the situations, that challenge some of you.
For if you learn how to use the challenging circumstances in your life, then inevitably, you will rise above them. Then, once you do this, you will look up and see - without a doubt - that I Am The One at the helm of your ship. I Am The One one steering you.  And yes, I Will, at times, steer you into the wind - so that My Mighty Sails can take catch, and take you to where I Need you to be.
Therefore, My Child, stop struggling; and learn to yield to what I Am Doing in your life.
Learn to stand in My Name and face these situations,
     knowing that Your Captain is in control of the ship.
Learn to rise above fear and use faith in these circumstances.
Instead of avoiding the storms, embrace the winds, and
     sail through to your destination.
And when you get to your place of victory, you will see that you are much stronger than when you first started on your journey. You will see that your circumstances pushed you beyond what you could have ever imagined. You will see that only I, The Lord your God, could have done this thing in your life.
I Say to you, Child; learn to ride the storm, embrace the strong winds blowing in your life, and sail on to victory, with Me.
Read and Meditate on God's Word
Matthew 8:24-27 - And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
#ScriptureReflection - Hebrews 10:5-10 (12.21.21)
 Brothers and sisters:
When Christ came into the world, he said:
    “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
        but a body you prepared for me;
    in holocausts and sin offerings you took no delight.
    Then I said, ‘As is written of me in the scroll,
    behold, I come to do your will, O God.’“
First he says, “Sacrifices and offerings,
holocausts and sin offerings,
you neither desired nor delighted in.”
These are offered according to the law.
Then he says, :Behold, I come to do your will.”
He takes away the first to establish the second.
By this “will,”  we have been consecrated
through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
At Just the Right Time...... WON'T GOD DO IT!!! (12.20.21)
My Child,
Can I not do miracles?
       What you are going through, is nothing for Me to handle.
Can I not heal you of that ailment?
Can I not make a way when there seems to be no way?
      You know that I can.
Never doubt My Ability to do what must be done, in your life, at just the right time.
You must learn to have faith in Me, and give thanks in all things; even when you cannot see how I Am going to do it.
Have faith. And know that it will be done.  At the right time.
You have watched as I Have manifested miracles on your behalf and on the behalf of others.  My Precious Child, you have watched My Work, over and over again. Now, I Ask you, to embrace what you are going through - and believe in Me for the impossible
I Want you to believe, once again, that I Will answer your prayers - at just the right time.  Remember, it is just a test.  And from each test, you will gain My Strength and My Wisdom; so that you can be a blessing to others.
Others, who need to hear from Me.
I know that for some of you, in your mind, there are times when you find it difficult - in fact, near impossible, to believe that I Can do all I Have promised. Some of you have a tendency to become anxious, wanting to know how it’s going to happen, and when it's going to happen.
Then when it doesn’t happen in the time that some of you have appointed, there are those of you who will go ahead of Me; and try to arrange your own plans, by forcing things to happen. Oh ye of little faith. You don’t have to do that.  For at just the right time, in My Time - My Perfect Timing - I Will show up.
I Say to many of you, at just the right time, I Will open the door.
At just the right time, I Will bring your loved ones home.
At just the right time, I Will restore your marriage.
At just the right time, I Will heal your body.
At just the right time, I Will deliver you and lead you
     through what you are facing.
I Will do it.
Just be patient.
Have faith in My Timing, and wait on Me.  I Will deliver.  And it will be, just at the right time.
Have faith in Me.
I Am The Author and Finisher of everything.
I Have not forsaken you.
I Will provide.
Just surrender all to Me.
I Want you to look to Me, and only Me.
Do not look at your circumstances.
Do not look at your situation.
Just look to Me and trust Me.
Praise Me, right now, and know that
     I Am taking care of all that concerns you.
Every hour, every minute, every second of the day.
I Am at work, on your behalf, to bring about what
     I Have Promised.
At just the right time.
#ScriptureReflection - Micah 5:1-4 (12.19.21)
    Thus says the LORD:
    You, Bethlehem-Ephrathah
        too small to be among the clans of Judah,
    from you shall come forth for me
        one who is to be ruler in Israel;
    whose origin is from of old,
        from ancient times.
    Therefore the Lord will give them up, until the time
        when she who is to give birth has borne,
    and the rest of his kindred shall return
        to the children of Israel.
    He shall stand firm and shepherd his flock
        by the strength of the LORD,
        in the majestic name of the LORD, his God;
    and they shall remain, for now his greatness
        shall reach to the ends of the earth;
        he shall be peace.
#ScriptureReflection - Jeremiah 23:5-8 (12.18.21)
  See, days are coming—oracle of the Lord—
    when I will raise up a righteous branch for David;
As king he shall reign and govern wisely,
    he shall do what is just and right in the land.
In his days Judah shall be saved,
    Israel shall dwell in security.
This is the name to be given him:
    “The Lord our justice.”
 Therefore, the days are coming—oracle of the Lord—when they shall no longer say, “As the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt”; but rather, “As the Lord lives, who brought the descendants of the house of Israel up from the land of the north”—and from all the lands to which I banished them; they shall again live on their own soil.
#ScriptureReflection - Jeremiah 23:1-4 (12.17.21)
A Just Shepherd.
Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the flock of my pasture—oracle of the Lord. Therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, against the shepherds who shepherd my people: You have scattered my sheep and driven them away. You have not cared for them, but I will take care to punish your evil deeds. I myself will gather the remnant of my flock from all the lands to which I have banished them and bring them back to their folds; there they shall be fruitful and multiply. I will raise up shepherds for them who will shepherd them so that they need no longer fear or be terrified; none shall be missing—oracle of the Lord.
#ScriptureReflection - Ecclesiastes 1:1-11 (12.16.21)
 Chapter 1
The words of David’s son, Qoheleth, king in Jerusalem:
Vanity of vanities, says Qoheleth,
    vanity of vanities! All things are vanity!
Vanity of Human Toil
What profit have we from all the toil
    which we toil at under the sun?
One generation departs and another generation comes,
    but the world forever stays.
The sun rises and the sun sets;
    then it presses on to the place where it rises.
Shifting south, then north,
    back and forth shifts the wind, constantly shifting its course.
All rivers flow to the sea,
    yet never does the sea become full.
To the place where they flow,
    the rivers continue to flow.
All things are wearisome,
    too wearisome for words.
The eye is not satisfied by seeing
    nor has the ear enough of hearing.
What has been, that will be; what has been done, that will be done. Nothing is new under the sun! 10  Even the thing of which we say, “See, this is new!” has already existed in the ages that preceded us. 11  There is no remembrance of past generations; nor will future generations be remembered by those who come after them.
(No Matter What You Are Going Through....) Hold On During Your Weary Season!!! (12.15.21)
Hold on My Child,
Hold On.
For, for some of you, battle fatigue has come
     upon you.
Some of you are feeling like a soldier wounded
      in combat.
Some of you are beginning to doubt whether
     or not you heard My Voice.
So much has happened in your life, that, for some of you (not all of you) it is causing you to lose faith. Now, some of you have become so weary.  Some of you are now afraid to step into the new place I Have prepared for you.  On the other hand, some of you have learned to steep in My Word, to trust Me, to #speakLife into your situation / your atmosphere.  Some of you know to go to My Word, to put on My Full Armor; and so some of you, Children, are battle ready.  However, some of you are not.  And for those of you who are feeling weary; for those of you feeling as though you are falling behind, with no hope of recovering - please know this, and please hear Me.  My Love will minister to your spirit.  My Love will stir up your anointing, causing you to take a powerful step forward, in the Mighty Name of My Son Jesus.
My Precious, Beautiful Child, You will begin to walk in a way in which you have not walked before. (And for some of you, those of you who have been standing on My Promises, steeped in My Word - you are already in this walk - you can testify to those who are weary... )
My Weary Children, your Anointing has already increased, causing you to experience blessings like never before.  And trust me, when you walk in My Obedience, My Correction, My Direction and My Love; you will continue to flow and eventually unprecedented abundance will completely surround you.
I Will Bless you.
I Will enlarged your territory.
And My Hand shall be upon you.
Therefore, it is time to change the way you think.
Do you HEAR ME CHILD!!
Is time to change the way you think.
It is time to change the way you think.
Therefore, it is time to change the way you think.
No longer think in small ways; but believe that I Am going to bless you in huge and mighty ways; in ways that you will not be able to comprehend. Take Me out of that small box you have kept Me in for so long.  Set Me, the Lord Your God, free from the tiny boxes, small prayers and little requests; and come boldly, with the impossible, with the things you say (and others say) cannot be done - for I will do the impossible.  Nothing is too hard for Me.
Hold On. Do not give up. Continue to seek My Face during your trials. Continue to come into My Presence.  Continue to spend time with me and invite Me into your home, invite Me to dinner, invite Me into your life, your world, your heart and your mind.
I Will be there to strengthen you.
I Will be there to comfort you.
Lift your head up.
Faint not.
For my weary Children, do not continue to be weary; for your season of despair is coming to an end.  I Am bringing the answers to your prayers which were sown during your weary season.
Now renew your mind.
Renew your faith.
Gird up, right now.
Put on My Full Armor.
Wield the Sword of the Spirit.
Step BOLDLY with your feet shod, with the Gospel of Peace.
For your weary season is coming to an end.
Your weary season is coming to an end.
Can you feel it?
Your weary season is ending.
It.
Is.
Over.
Now.
Read and Meditate on God's Word
Psalm 27:13-14 - I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Galatians 6:9 - And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Ephesians 3:13 - Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
2 Corinthians 4:8-10 - We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
#ScriptureReflection - Matthew 11:11-15 (12.14.21)
 11  Amen, I say to you, among those born of women there has been none greater than John the Baptist; yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12  From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent are taking it by force. 13  All the prophets and the law prophesied up to the time of John. 14  And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah, the one who is to come. 15  Whoever has ears ought to hear.
TODAY!!!! (12.13.21)
Children of GOD,
The Lord Our GOD tell us many things in His Word.
Often when I spend time with Him, when I meditate on His Word and when I intently sit still and listen to His Still Small Voice - sometimes I hear Him say things to me like, "Now, today if you will call on Me, and give thanks in your heart,  I  WILL BE more than everything you need.  I will cause you to experience My PEACE and JOY and they will overtake your soul."
TODAY, let’s do the following:
  • TODAY!  I will begin the day by praying,
    This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it. - Psalm 118:24
  • TODAY! I will say,
    I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. - Philippians 4:13
  • TODAY! I will not worry about my needs, for....
    ...my God has supplied all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19
  • TODAY! I will not fear,
    For GOD did not give me a spirit of fear; but a spirit of power, of love, and a sound mind. - 2 Timothy 1:7
  • TODAY! I will not harbor doubt and lack faith, for
    ...without faith it is impossible to please GOD, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. - Hebrews 11:6
  • TODAY! I will not lack strength, for
    ...the Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?  - Psalm 27:1
  • TODAY! I will not confess defeat, for GOD
    ... always leads me in triumphal procession in Christ,
    - 2 Corinthians 2:14
  • TODAY! I will not lack wisdom, for
    ... I can ask GOD, who gives generously without finding fault, and it will be given. - James 1:5
  • TODAY! I will not feel condemned, for
    ... there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. - Romans 8:1
  • TODAY! I will not be worried or frustrated, because
    I have cast all my cares on Jesus because He cares for me.
     - 1 Peter 5:7
  • TODAY! I will not be depressed, because I know that
    ...for his compassion's never fail. They are new every morning; great is His faithfulness. - Lamentations 3:22-23
  • TODAY! I will not feel alone, for Jesus said,
    He is always with me, even to the end of this world.
    - Matthew 28:20
  • TODAY! I will not be discontented,
    ...for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. - Philippians 4:11
  • TODAY! I will not feel worthless, for
    GOD made him who had no sin to be sin for me, so that in him I might become the righteousness of GOD. - 2 Corinthians 5:21
  • TODAY! I will not be confused,
    For GOD is not the author of confusion, but of peace.
    - 1 Corinthians 14:33
  • TODAY! I will not let the pressures of life bother me, for when Christ said,
    In this world, I will have trouble. But I won't be afraid. I will be of good cheer; because Jesus has overcome the world.
    - John 16:33
  • TODAY! I will not feel like a failure, because
    I am more than a conqueror through Christ him who loves me. - Romans 8:37
~~~~~~~~~~
At the end of TODAY! and every day, I will say, 'This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice."

I will begin my day, and end my day, with what GOD says about TODAY!, on my tongue.  For the Lord GOD Our Father saith this:
This is the day which the LORD hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
- Psalm 118:24
Thank God for what you have,
Trust God for what you need.

To Intimately Know The Heart of God, We Must Look to Jesus (12.12.21)

Faith Believers,
Jesus is the way into communion with the Father. That is why Jesus told His Disciples, Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full - John 16:24.

Prayer becomes an adventure, because we are escorted into the presence of the Father, by the Son. There is complete joy to be found in the presence of GOD.

Jesus is the exact representation of the Nature of GOD. If we are to ever know intimately the Heart of Our Father, we must learn to look to Jesus. The purity, compassion, and wisdom of Our Father are clearly understood through the Son.
~ Let Us Pray ~
Compassionate Father,

You have told me how to have joy, and that is,
to ask specifically in Your Son's Name.
As I am ushered into Your Presence, through Your Son, Jesus; I am continually thankful that You - Father God - have made a way for me to stand before Your Throne.

I praise You Lord God, for this incredible privilege!
I thank You Lord Jesus!!!

Amen

#ScriptureReflection - Judges 16:20-31 (12.11.21)

20  And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him.

21  But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

22  Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.

23  Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

24  And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.

25  And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.

26  And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.

27  Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.

28  And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

29  And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

30  And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

31  Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the buryingplace of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.

Take God at His Word & Step Out in Faith [What is Holding You Back?!?!] (12.10.21)

My Child,
Take Me at My Word.
And step out in faith.

What is holding you back?

It is My Desire to lead you through many different experiences; but you must take the first step.

Do not be afraid to walk the path I Have set before you.  I Am your Rock and Fortress. I Will Lead and Guide you. I Won’t allow your foot to slip.  You Won’t achieve that which you desire, if you’re afraid to take a step of faith.

Too too often, too many of My Children try to look ahead and figure out what I Am doing; before they take the next step.  But that is not walking by faith, is it?  I’ve Opened the door, and now you must decide whether you will have faith in Me and walk through it; or not.  It would be so easy for Me to pick you up and set you in the place where you want to be.  However, if I Did that, you would miss so many of the valuable lessons of faith that would bring you closer to Me.

It is only when you walk by faith, that you will be able to see My Hand move in your life.  I Know that many of you are hoping to see "the miracles, signs and wonders" first, before you move; but it is faith that causes miracles to happen.

Not the other way around.

Step out in faith, and if it is in the wrong direction; I Will honor that faith by causing things to change, and come in line, with My Will.  I Just need you to take Me at My Word; and step out in faith. Take Me at My Word, and watch Me move on your behalf.

Walk by faith.  Walk by faith.  Walk by faith.
So that you can see My Hand push down the Jericho walls in your life.

Walk by faith - and watch Me close the mouth of the lions in your life.

Walk by faith - and watch Me meet every need in your life with two fish and five loaves of bread.

Walk by faith - and you will find yourself at the destination I Have ordained for you.

So, take Me at My Word.
Apply it.
And walk.

Then, and only then will you see Me Move, on your behalf.
In great and mighty ways.
I Love you My Precious Beautiful Child.
I Want the very best for you.

Take My Word.
Take My Hand.
And Step out.
Walk.
By Faith.

Read and Meditate on My Word
Psalm 121:3 - He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Isaiah 55:11 - So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

John 15:7 - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith, not by sight,

1 Timothy 6:12 - Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
