Steering Clear of Evildoers (3.12.13)

I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. - Psalms 26:5

A short story:
Jeremy knew he wasn't a favorite among his peers. Just about everyone told him so. He wasn't willing to do the things people told him he had to do in order to be accepted by the "in" crowd. He did not want to hurt other people and be a participant in the work of the enemy. He felt that if those were the qualifications for being liked, then forget it.

Sometimes we find it very difficult to say no to evildoers.
It can become lonely when you choose to follow the LORD.
So many people love to do what they know is wrong,
sometimes not realizing that they will surely see their evil deeds again.

The Word of GOD has promised this! GOD calls us to live according to his WORD, and in order to do that, we need to steer clear of evildoers. Call upon the name of the Lord to give you strength and conviction when you are being tested.

He will always answer your call.

Prayer:
Father GOD,
As I come to You in prayer today,
all around me I see people doing things that are not pleasing to You.
Help them Father,

and also help me when thoughts of doing wrong to others,
enters into my mind.
I want to live for You Father GOD.
Rescue me from those who try to persuade me

to participate in evil doing.

Fill me with Your Spirit this day, Lord.

Amen

Everything Happens for a Purpose (3.11.13)

The will of God will never take you,
Where the grace of God cannot keep you,
Where the arms of God cannot support you,
Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the power of God cannot endow you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the Spirit of God cannot work through you,
Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you,
Where the army of God cannot protect you,
Where the hands of God cannot mold you.

The will of God will never take you,
The will of God will never take you,
Everything happens for a purpose.

Where the love of God cannot enfold you,
Where the mercies of God cannot sustain you,
Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears,
Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.

Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
Where the Word of God cannot feed you,
Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you,
Where the omnipresence of God cannot find you.

We may not see the wisdom of it all now,
but trust and believe in the Lord that everything is for the best.

Our Ways are not His Ways (3.10.13)

Isn't it amazing how we let our minds manipulate us sometimes?

We blow things out of proportion and it causes us such great suffering and distress. When we allow ourselves to embrace panic and fear, it is good to know that we can turn to the Lord and He will be faithful to comfort us. When we open ourselves to embrace His peace we will find new serenity.

We often forget that the LORD has instructed us to come to Him when we are weary and can barely find the strength to continue in this journey. His Word promise us that He will carry us through the storm, if we faint not.

If GOD is for us who can be against us? So regardless of what situation you are facing today, our Father knows all about it, and will correct it in His own timing and in His own way.

He has told us that our ways are not His ways. So when things are not happening the way you think they should, lean not onto your own understanding but trust GOD to do what he has promised.

He does not lie and his Word will not return void.
The Word He has given us to obey will do everything it says.
Don't give up on GOD because He surely has not given up on you.

Have a blessed day in the LORD!!!

A Crisis of Faith (3.8.13)

I'm speaking to those who are going through a faith crisis. Your circumstances are causing you to doubt if you have any kind of faith at all. I know it’s not that you don't believe in Me or believe My Word. It’s just that your situation and symptoms are speaking louder to you than your faith.

I want you to stop right now and consider recognizing who I AM.

I am THE GOD that created the Heaven and the Earth, and all that is there in. I am THE GOD which created you and knows all about you. There is nothing too difficult for Me. Rise up and strengthen yourself in My Word. Resolve to trust and truly believe Me for complete deliverance and restoration in this particular situation.

Refuse to allow fear to have any place or control in your life. Let faith rule and reign in every circumstance. Hold on to what you know is true, "MY WORD" and I will hear your prayers and answer you.

"Don't ever forget that I am your stronghold, your fortress, your high tower. Be strong and immovable in the faith of My Word, then you will see My glory and be amazed at what I will do in your life," says the Lord.

Jeremiah 32:17 - O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!

Keeping Your Tongue in Check (3.7.13)

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made in GOD’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. This should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? Can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water - James 3:9-13

Jesus revealed that a spring of living water flows out of us (John 7:38). Then James explained that when we use our mouths to curse or condemn, rather than praise, we are dumping a truckload of salt into our spring. Cursing, as it is used here, does not refer to profanity - rather it means to denounce or call something bad or harmful. Our ability to praise, worship and minister in prophetic intercession is directly affected by what comes out of our mouths.

When you start to feel dry, or like things just aren’t flowing smoothly in the prayer closet, ask the Holy Spirit to check your mouth. He will be glad to show you where the salt came from! “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of GOD” - Ephesians 4:29-30

Keep the flow of the Holy Spirit alive as you minister through intercession by keeping your tongue in check. As you renounce unrighteous judgments and words that aren’t life-giving, you’ll be the vessel the Lord will look for when He wants to accomplish something powerful through prayer!

Lord,
Show me where my tongue is getting me into trouble,
salting the flow of life-giving water, meant to minister to others.
I choose to bring my tongue into conformity,
so that it blesses and benefits others and doesn't tear them down.
Oh Father, help me with my tongue.

Amen

I Remember You, Will You Remember Me? (3.5.13)

You've asked so many times, “Lord do you remember me?
While I am on this Christian journey, do you remember me?”

How could I forget you?

When I was praying in the Garden,
I prayed not only for myself, I was praying for you.
I prayed for your healing, I prayed for your protection,
I prayed for your peace, I prayed for your joy and
I prayed for your faith.

Will you remember me?

I PRAYED FOR YOU.

You came through trials and tribulations that you
never thought you would make it through.
Trials that put your faith in ME to the test.
Trials that made you weep in the night.
A night you thought would never end, and yet you made it.
You felt cast down, shaken, torn to pieces,
and then those pieces were torn to shreds.
I had to allow you to suffer; I had to allow you to be tested.
It was the process I had to take you through for you
to be delivered. I was there all the time.

Will you remember Me?
I DELIVERED YOU.

You talk about how much you have suffered. You are not alone.
I see wives and husbands suffering for their unsaved companions.
I even see children, yes, children suffering for their unsaved parents.
I know you’ve suffered, I know they have suffered,
but because of your suffering, many lives have been saved.
I know what you are going through, for I suffered too.

Will you remember Me?
I SUFFERED FOR YOU.

With all that we have talked about, and all that you have gone through,
do you really think I could ever forget about you?
How could I forget about my friend?
Remember, Greater love hath no man than this.
That He lays down His life for his friends.

My love for you is unconditional.
I remember you; will you remember Me?

I DIED FOR YOU.

Signed,  JESUS

God's Love and Power (3.4.13)

The love of God can help us to endure many things.

Circumstances that ordinarily knock us flat on our back are nothing when face-to-face with the power of GOD.

Cry out to GOD in times of affliction and He will comfort you and lift you above the fear of evil things.
Truly, our help is in the Lord and there is nothing in this life you cannot face as long as the LORD is with you.

Spend time alone with him daily and he surely will answer when you call upon his Holy name.

Be still and know that he is GOD!!!

We are God's Sheep (3.3.13)

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want - Psalm 23

GOD created sheep as a unique animal.

Sheep need to be herded to greener pastures when their own pasture has been stripped of foliage. Sheep will wander off into traps, standing helplessly while predators stalk them. Out of all GOD's creatures, few are more helpless than sheep.

It is interesting that GOD calls us His sheep.
We so often think that we have complete control over our lives, and yet we really are helpless. We need to admit our weaknesses to the Father. When we admit our weakness, this admission becomes our strength, helping us to understand our need for GOD's intervention.

GOD will protect us, provide for us, guide us from place to place, and never leave us alone.
He truly is the Good Shepherd, the best shepherd we could ever hope to find.
We need a shepherd to walk with us daily, and thank GOD we have the finest.

Prayer:
Lord,
I have difficulty admitting that I cannot do everything on my own.
Help me to see that leaning on Your strength is not weakness at all,
but power beyond measure.
By Your wisdom I am saved.
Thank you Father.

Amen

Learn to Trust God (3.2.13)

Beloved,
if you will release yourself from the bondage of doubt in difficult situations and learn to trust Me, you will find that I am right beside you.
I have heard the cry of your heart, be patient the answers are forthcoming.
Answers will come in unexpected ways so there is no need to strive or worry, but have faith.
For even in the midst of uncertainty, I will open doors that will offer unexpected opportunities.

Only trust Me and do not fear, and you will enter a time of greater sensitivity - both in the spiritual realm and in the natural realm.
Refuse to allow discouragement to take you captive, and you will find a new level of freedom beyond anything you could imagine.
Be obedient to My leading, and stay in My Word, for your answers are coming.

Have faith and know that I am with you and will be with you at all times, says the Lord.

Trust Me!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding

Nothing is Too Hard for God (3.1.13)

Be still, and know that I am God.

There is nothing too difficult for Me, says the Lord. I have all power and authority, and I have empowered you to do all that I have destined for you to do. Refuse to be discouraged. Rise up and know that I am with you to accomplish My purposes for you on this earth.

Keep your pace and do not take your emotional reactions too seriously, for the enemy will use them against you to bring you down. Be strong and stand in the anointing of courage.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Remember this: There is nothing that you will face today that the Lord can't bring you through.

Thank God for what you have,
Trust God for what you need
