Focus.... (11.13.18)

My Child,
Focus, you must remain focused on Me.
Now is not the time to allow the whispers
     of the enemy to get through to you.

Why are you even holding a conversation with the enemy? he is not worthy of your time. Yes, some may appear to prosper in their walk, but I Say unto you, many will be cast aside, for they have not truly been with Me, as you have.

I Need you to focus on Me.
Keep your eye on the prize.
Look unto ME, the Author and Finisher of
     your faith, and have confidence that
     I Have everything under control.

Although though you cannot see the answers right now, have faith in Me.  I Will bring the promises to pass. You must continue to walk by faith, not by sight.

Do not allow worry or anxiety to rob you of what I Am doing in your life. There is nothing to fear, for I Am working in your midst.

I AM IN YOUR MIDST!

Have faith in Me, and trust My Word and DO NOT doubt My Promise. You have My Word, My Power and you have My Promises. Some of you think you need to work somehow to achieve this. All you have to do is believe My Word, have faith, and let My Word do the work in your life.

I AM, the One, who is moving you forward and beyond.

The enemy is using worldly distractions, adverse problems - even people you love - to distract you and take you off course.

Have your face set like flint and remain focused on ME.

There is no other recourse for you, you have to remain focused on ME. Remember, wait on Me, keep My Ways, and I Will exalt you to inherit the land; and when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

Therefore, do not allow anything to steal your focus.
You must not worry, for you will emerge triumphantly.

I Say unto you again, Focus on Me!

God is Preparing to Bless You (11.12.18)

My Child,
You are expecting a breakthrough.
You have prayed about this situation
      over a long period of time.
You are finally beginning to believe in My Word
      and what I have promised you.

Beloved, I Am not man that I should lie, what I Have promised you I Will deliver according to My Will for your life. It pleases Me that you are walking in "all things work together for good for those who love Me and who are called according to My purposes."

My Child, look forward to the breakthrough I Am about to bring into your life. I Want you to have the faith of Abraham and Joseph.   Abraham and Joseph both stood strong in faith and was fully persuaded that I was able to perform what I promised. This breakthrough might not come in the way you are expecting or what seems logical to you.

Stand, believe and know that I Have all power to bless and bring about breakthrough in your life. I do not share this power with anything or anyone.

All things are possible to those who believe in Me.
Believe, Believe and Believe in the power of GOD!!!!

I Will deliver and I Am always on time!!

Rom 4:18-21  Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of GOD through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to GOD; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

#ScriptureReflection - Ezekiel 34 (11.11.18)

A Prophecy Against False Shepherds

34 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them—to the shepherds: ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not shepherds feed the flock? 3 You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the choice animals, but you do not feed the sheep! 4 You have not strengthened the weak, healed the sick, bandaged the injured, brought back the strays, or sought the lost, but with force and harshness you have ruled over them. 5 They were scattered because they had no shepherd, and they became food for every wild beast. 6 My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. My sheep were scattered over the entire face of the earth with no one looking or searching for them.

7 “‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 8 As surely as I live, declares the sovereign Lord, my sheep have become prey and have become food for all the wild beasts. There was no shepherd, and my shepherds did not search for my flock, but fed themselves and did not feed my sheep, 9 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 10 This is what the sovereign Lord says: Look, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand my sheep from their hand. I will no longer let them be shepherds; the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore. I will rescue my sheep from their mouth, so that they will no longer be food for them.

11 “‘For this is what the sovereign Lord says: Look, I myself will search for my sheep and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will seek out my flock. I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a cloudy, dark day. 13 I will bring them out from among the peoples and gather them from foreign countries; I will bring them to their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams and all the inhabited places of the land. 14 In a good pasture I will feed them; the mountain heights of Israel will be their pasture. There they will lie down in a lush pasture, and they will feed on rich grass on the mountains of Israel. 15 I myself will feed my sheep and I myself will make them lie down, declares the sovereign Lord. 16 I will seek the lost and bring back the strays; I will bandage the injured and strengthen the sick, but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them—with judgment!

17 “‘As for you, my sheep, this is what the sovereign Lord says: Look, I am about to judge between one sheep and another, between rams and goats. 18 Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must trample the rest of your pastures with your feet? When you drink clean water, must you muddy the rest of the water by trampling it with your feet? 19 As for my sheep, they must eat what you trampled with your feet, and drink what you have muddied with your feet!

20 “‘Therefore, this is what the sovereign Lord says to them: Look, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. 21 Because you push with your side and your shoulder, and thrust your horns at all the weak sheep until you scatter them abroad, 22 I will save my sheep; they will no longer be prey. I will judge between one sheep and another.

23 I will set one shepherd over them, and he will feed them—namely, my servant David. He will feed them and will be their shepherd. 24 I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them; I, the Lord, have spoken!

25 “‘I will make a covenant of peace with them and will rid the land of wild beasts, so that they can live securely in the wilderness and even sleep in the woods. 26 I will turn them and the regions around my hill into a blessing. I will make showers come down in their season; they will be showers that bring blessing. 27 The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the earth will yield its crops. They will live securely on their land; they will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hand of those who enslaved them. 28 They will no longer be prey for the nations and the wild beasts will not devour them. They will live securely and no one will make them afraid. 29 I will prepare for them a healthy planting. They will no longer be victims of famine in the land and will no longer bear the insults of the nations. 30 Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and that they are my people, the house of Israel, declares the sovereign Lord. 31 And you, my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are my people, and I am your God, declares the sovereign Lord.’”

#ScriptureReflection - Zechariah 9:1 - 10:2 (11.10.18)

Zion’s salvation is promised
The Lord has passed
through the land of Hadrach
and Damascus is his dwelling-place;
for the cities of Aram belong to the Lord
no less than all the tribes of Israel;
Hamath too, which borders on it,
(Tyre) and Sidon also, despite her acumen.
Tyre has built herself a rampart,
has heaped up silver like dust
and gold like the dirt of the streets.
And now the Lord is going to take possession of her;
he will topple her power into the sea;
she herself will be consumed by fire.
Seeing this, Ashkelon will be terrified,
and Gaza be seized with trembling,
so will Ekron, at the ruin of her prospects;
the king will vanish from Gaza
and Ashkelon remain unpeopled,
but the bastard will live in Ashdod!
I mean to destroy the arrogance of the Philistine;
I intend to take his blood out of his mouth
and his abomination from between his teeth.
He too will become a remnant for our God
and be like a family in Judah.
Ekron shall be like the Jebusite.
Near my house I will take my stand
like a watchman on guard against prowlers;
the tyrant shall pass their way no more,
because I have now taken notice of its distress.

Rejoice heart and soul, daughter of Zion!
Shout with gladness, daughter of Jerusalem!
See now, your king comes to you;
he is victorious, he is triumphant,
humble and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
He will banish chariots from Ephraim
and horses from Jerusalem;
the bow of war will be banished.
He will proclaim peace for the nations.
His empire shall stretch from sea to sea,
from the River to the ends of the earth.

As for you, because of the blood of your covenant
I am sending back your prisoners from the pit
(in which there is no water).
To you, daughter of Zion,
the hopeful captives will return.
In compensation for your days of banishment
I will give you back double.
For I bend my bow; it is Judah;
I make Ephraim its arrow.
I am going to brandish your children, Zion,
(against your children, Javan);
I mean to make you like the sword of a hero.
The Lord will appear above them
and his arrow will flash out like lightning.
The Lord will sound the trumpet
and advance in the storms of the south.
The Lord (of Hosts) will protect them!
They will trample sling stones underfoot,
they will drink blood like wine,
they will be soaked in it like the horns of an altar.
The Lord their God will give them victory
when that day comes;
he will pasture his people like a flock
(like the flashing jewels of a diadem)
on his land.
What joy and what beauty shall be theirs!
Corn will make the young men flourish,
and sweet wine the maidens.
Ask the Lord for rain
at the time of the spring rains.
For it is the Lord who sends the lightning
and gives the showers of rain;
he gives bread to man,
and grass to the cattle.
Because the teraphim utter futile words
and the diviners have lying visions
and publish empty dreams
and voice misleading nonsense,
naturally the people stray like sheep;
they wander because they have no shepherd.

A Woman of God..... (11.9.18)

Good Morning Faith Family,
I took this post from the internet and I just wanted to share this.
This is beautifully written and very true....
  -  Marilyn
Godly women don't have to advertise.
They can just be themselves.
Their trust is in the Lord.

The anointing makes them beautiful. It attracts and demands attention and respect, all on it's own. It will catch the eye of any man who can recognize the true spirit of GOD.

It is rare for a man to come at her disrespectfully because the GOD in her radiates like the bright sun. It says 'I am a woman of GOD. A princess. A daughter of the King of kings.'

Her very presence and spirit demands the best and nothing less.

She is not desperate for anything, and her emotions are checked by the Holy Spirit. Her heart is in the hands of GOD, and GOD will not give it to a man who is unworthy of his daughters love.

Remember the Things that God has Done.... And Believe Again (11.8.18)

My Child,
You ask why circumstances don't change, why you are enduring the trials that have come upon you. I have given you instructions by My Word, you hear My Voice, and yet you doubt. Things won't change as long as you continue to waver in your faith. In order for you to receive the desires I have for you AND the desires of your heart, you must let go of your fears and doubts, and believe again.

Remember sometime ago you were praying to Me that I move that problem out of your way? Remember how quickly I answered you. My child, it is time you remember and
believe again. Recall My Word: Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world!  Therefore, stand tall, put on My Armor and withstand the enemy who is trying to steal your future in Me.  Speak My Word! Believe again, and do not ever stop believing in Me.

You WILL receive that which you have asked for.

Yes, I Am able.
Yes, I Can do all things and I Choose to do
     those things through you.

Therefore, do not bind and limit Me with your idle words of doubt.  Believe and allow Me to do My Will in your life. I want to do exceeding abundantly things in your life; however, in order for Me to do My Part, you must do your part.

So, believe in Me again, and My Power
     will flow through you.
Believe again and see My Glory, the glory
     of the Lord your God, move upon
     your situation.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Isaiah 65:24 - And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.

Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

1 John 4:4 - Ye are of GOD, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

You are Going in the Right Direction. Stay on the Right Path & Continue to Listen to God's Voice. (11.7.18)

My Child,
Yes, you are going in the right direction.

Now, do not try to get ahead of Me; and do not allow your flesh to cause you to say, “I got this now.”

For it’s when you step out of the Spirit, and into the flesh, that you will lose your place and have to start over again.

If you continue to listen to My Voice, and be obedient to My Directions, you will stay on the path that I Have laid out for you. And as you journey down this path, do not be surprised when temptation comes to distract you from reaching your destiny.

You have come too far to allow anything
     to hinder you.
Therefore, keep your eyes on Me, and off of
     the worldly things that would pull you
     away from Me.

I Am taking you down this path to increase your wisdom, and to strengthen you; so that you will be able to resist the enemy when he comes against you.

It is My Desire to strengthen you
     by My Holy Spirit.

Stay on this path, carry My Message and "be a blessing" to those who are troubled in their spirit and want to give up.

I Want you to remind them that I Am real; and through this journey, you will show them how you overcame.

Stay on the right path, and you will
     be an inspiration to others.

Ask Me, "day by day" and "moment by moment," if need be, what to do.

I Am here for you.
I Am sending One whose assignment is to bless
     you and walk close by your side.
I Have given you the wisdom to follow the path
      laid out before you, so stay on the right path.

Nehemiah's Strategy - Prayer & Action (11.6.18)

The king said to me, ‘What is it you want?’ Then I prayed to the GOD of heaven, and I answered the king, ‘If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my fathers are buried so that I can rebuild it’ - Nehemiah 2:4-5

Faith Believers,
Nehemiah knew that he was the man whom GOD expected to rebuild the city of Jerusalem.

His strategy was prayer.

He first asked GOD to prepare the way for him to receive favor from the king. But then, he knew that he must ask the king for his help. Having confidence in the Lord’s plan and provision, he did just that - even though he was afraid. How many of us pray, but then don’t continue on in faith; to be the answer to our own prayers? Do you wonder how many prayers GOD might have answered differently, if we had just been obedient in our actions?

Sometimes GOD desires and requires the next step beyond obedience to intercede … the obedience to act on behalf of the person or situation for whom, or for which, we are interceding.

Nehemiah prayed a prayer to GOD, just before responding to the king’s question, “What is it you want?” (Nehemiah 2:4-5). He utilized the strategy of prayer for preparation, and also to gain the wisdom to speak the words GOD wanted him to say: Then I prayed to the GOD of heaven, and I answered the king. Jesus tells us not to fear when we stand before kings and authorities on His behalf for He will give us the words to say. (Luke 21:12-15).

Nehemiah experienced this same promise from GOD.

~ Prayer ~
Our Father in Heaven,
Create in me the faithful heart of Nehemiah so that I am not afraid to be the answer to the prayers I pray.

Help me to prepare the ground in prayer and ask for Your Wisdom in every situation, so that I will be confident in Your plans and provision.

May I continually act in obedience, even if it might mean stretching my experience to trust that You will give me words to say in uncertain situations.

In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, I pray.

Amen

No More Negative Thoughts (11.5.18)

My Child,
Why have you allowed negative thoughts to overtake you?
Now depression has come upon you and clouded your mind.

It didn’t attack you overnight.

It came upon you slowly, when you took your eyes off My Word, and began to worry about your circumstances.  Now, it’s lingering longer than you thought it would.  You’ve tried to resist it, but it keeps creeping back in.  Why?  Because you’re thinking that I Won’t fulfill My Promises to you.

You know that’s not true.
I Always honor My Word.

The only way to break this negative spirit is to pray and focus on My Goodness, not on your circumstances. Yes, focus on My Goodness, and not what the enemy is trying to do.  Then, and only then will you see a change of perspective in your life.

Your focus has been on the future and what it may bring.

Why are you worried about that?
I Hold your future in My Hands.

With your mind so focused on what you want
Me to do for you, you have forgotten about all the beautiful things that I have already done in your life???

Start now.
Take a stand
     and allow Me to retrain your thinking.

Work with Me by staying in My Word; as I renew and transform your mind.  Start thinking and meditating on the good things that have happened in your life.  Look for the small, even tiny seemingly insignificant things and be grateful; then walk in this gratefulness and be filled with thanksgiving for the Blessed Life I have given you.

Count your blessings and know that there is nothing impossible for Me.

Then I want you to rise up, suit up in My Son's Name and move through the smoke screen that
satan has thrown up in your path.

And you shall see My Word blow the enemy away, and bring light into your darkest night.

Now, NO MORE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS.

Isaiah 55:11 -  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Matthew 6:34  - Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD.

#ScriptureReflection - Judges 7 (11.4.18)

Gideon Defeats the Midianites

7 Early in the morning, Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) and all his men camped at the spring of Harod. The camp of Midian was north of them in the valley near the hill of Moreh. 2 The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me.’ 3 Now announce to the army, ‘Anyone who trembles with fear may turn back and leave Mount Gilead.’” So twenty-two thousand men left, while ten thousand remained.

4 But the Lord said to Gideon, “There are still too many men. Take them down to the water, and I will thin them out for you there. If I say, ‘This one shall go with you,’ he shall go; but if I say, ‘This one shall not go with you,’ he shall not go.”

5 So Gideon took the men down to the water. There the Lord told him, “Separate those who lap the water with their tongues as a dog laps from those who kneel down to drink.” 6 Three hundred of them drank from cupped hands, lapping like dogs. All the rest got down on their knees to drink.

7 The Lord said to Gideon, “With the three hundred men that lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands. Let all the others go home.” 8 So Gideon sent the rest of the Israelites home but kept the three hundred, who took over the provisions and trumpets of the others.

Now the camp of Midian lay below him in the valley. 9 During that night the Lord said to Gideon, “Get up, go down against the camp, because I am going to give it into your hands. 10 If you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with your servant Purah 11 and listen to what they are saying. Afterward, you will be encouraged to attack the camp.” So he and Purah his servant went down to the outposts of the camp. 12 The Midianites, the Amalekites and all the other eastern peoples had settled in the valley, thick as locusts. Their camels could no more be counted than the sand on the seashore.

13 Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream. “I had a dream,” he was saying. “A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed.”

14 His friend responded, “This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.”

15 When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.” 16 Dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he placed trumpets and empty jars in the hands of all of them, with torches inside.

17 “Watch me,” he told them. “Follow my lead. When I get to the edge of the camp, do exactly as I do. 18 When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, then from all around the camp blow yours and shout, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon.’”

19 Gideon and the hundred men with him reached the edge of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just after they had changed the guard. They blew their trumpets and broke the jars that were in their hands. 20 The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” 21 While each man held his position around the camp, all the Midianites ran, crying out as they fled.

22 When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords. The army fled to Beth Shittah toward Zererah as far as the border of Abel Meholah near Tabbath. 23 Israelites from Naphtali, Asher and all Manasseh were called out, and they pursued the Midianites. 24 Gideon sent messengers throughout the hill country of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites and seize the waters of the Jordan ahead of them as far as Beth Barah.”

So all the men of Ephraim were called out and they seized the waters of the Jordan as far as Beth Barah. 25 They also captured two of the Midianite leaders, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb at the winepress of Zeeb. They pursued the Midianites and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon, who was by the Jordan.
