Every Knee Will Bow & Every Tongue Confess (12.26.18)

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations - Psalm 22:27-28

Faith Believers,
For some of us, it can be pretty frustrating to watch the news and see how the world regularly ignores the Lord. Governments operate as though there is no GOD in Heaven, Who is the Maker of all things and Ruler of all nations. Because of this rebellious attitude, mankind finds itself increasingly mired in unsolvable situations, that threaten our very human existence.

It would be easy to lose hope if we did not have GOD’s eternal Word as a sure promise.

The day will come when nations will: 1) remember, 2) turn and 3) bow down. Those who love GOD and already bow before Him in worship are to continue to live in ways that honor the Lord and lead people to Him.

The Word of GOD says that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. It does not matter if you believe in GOD or not, in the end, you will bow and confess.

Jesus is the answer to all that is going on in this world today.

Nations are being disobedient to GOD, confessing they want nothing to do with him. When GOD steps aside, the enemy will move right in immediately - because he came to steal, kill and destroy.

GOD is waiting for the nations to repent and worship Him.

~ Prayer ~
Father,

Many nations are in an uproar because they have turned their back on You.

Forgive us for looking to men for answers when the only answer is in You.

Lord, I am eager for the day when all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to You. What a time of magnificent worship that will be! 

I pray for the leaders of nations today, that they will remember You, and turn to You.

You and You alone are the only answer to everything that's going on in this world and you are the only one that can fix it.

Help us Father, we need You.

In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ
     of Nazareth I pray this prayer!

JESUS is the Reason for Christmas- Give the One True Gift - the Gift of Love (12.25.18)

Faith Believers,
We have a saying during this time of the year; we say, “Jesus is the reason for the season,” and we demonstrate this by the giving of gifts. However, wouldn’t it be nice if we could find a way to live continuously in the season of giving?
 
How many of us can say that our children know the real meaning of Christmas?  How many of us have shared with our children that Christ was born in a manger? Oh yes, they see the displays of the manger and think how beautiful it looks.  But have you really told them the surroundings of the manger? Have you told them about the animals that were there, and what it actually looked and may have smelled like?  Do they really know about His birth?  It’s time we teach them to know the full story of our Saviour’s birth. It’s time we teach them the true meaning of giving and getting a gift.

Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.

When the Lord gave us His only‐begotten Son, His birth signified a new beginning and reflected what true love should look like. Our Father wanted us to see real love and to understand that saying, “I love you " isn’t enough. The Father demonstrated to us that “love” is an action word when He gave us Jesus; and Jesus imitated that same love when He suffered and died for us all, so that we would have eternal life. Everything Jesus did for us was based upon His commandment for us to love one another. 

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another,
as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”

 
The Lord has commanded that we follow His example of love. He expects us to love every day of our lives, not just during holiday seasons. Therefore, during this holiday season, and every season of your life, start reflecting on the One to whom this season and every season should reverence.

Showing love to someone every day is the greatest gift you can give.

This year give a gift that will not cost you a dime. Do not worry if you don’t have money to buy gifts for your family and friends. Do not worry what people are going to say about what you have or don’t have. None of that matters.

Give a gift that’s been brought at a price that we can never repay.

Give them what Jesus gave us.

His greatest gift of all . . . LOVE.
Give the gift of love.
After all, we wouldn’t be celebrating this season
      if the Lord hadn’t given us His Son.
 
I cannot imagine the pain the Lord endured as He sent His only Son to save us. So, let us honor the Lord with our love and show Him how grateful we are for His sacrifice. Let’s keep His new commandment and love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength; and give this same love to those we meet.

Let’s celebrate the birth of Jesus in a way that will please our Father as we humble ourselves so that we are obedient to His Word.

Read and Meditate on God's Word

Mark 12:30-31 - And thou shalt love the Lord thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 

 
John 3:16 - For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 
 
John 13:34 - A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

"The Listening Side of Prayer" - First We Must Listen to God, Then We Pray... (12.24.18)

I keep asking that the GOD of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better - Ephesians 1:17

Faith Believers,
Elijah and Daniel both listened to GOD first, and then they prayed.

They based their prayers on what they “heard.” Elijah heard GOD speak directly to him. Daniel heard GOD speak through the scripture.

They took GOD’s Revelation seriously.
They took their prayer responsibility seriously.
They understood the listening side of prayer.

Listening prayer is simply this,
     first we listen and then we pray.

There are several different ways we can listen. First, we can hear directly from GOD. When GOD the Father speaks, it is always through His Son and His  Holy Spirit. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice - John 10:27, NIV. Paul calls the Holy Spirit the “Spirit of Revelation” (Ephesians 1:17). The Spirit of Revelation dwells within us and is able to reveal what GOD wants to say directly to our hearts and minds. What is revealed to us from GOD should shape our prayers so that we know what to pray.

By listening we may even learn when not to pray for something.

At a time when the spirit of unrighteousness reigned in Israel, GOD said to Jeremiah, “Do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them: do not plead with me for I will not listen to you” (Jeremiah 7:16).

The link between our prayers and GOD’s Will is so intertwined, that GOD doesn’t want us praying for things that are not His Will.

A while the Father may not speak to you as directly as He did to Jeremiah or David; He may, at times, nudge your spirit when you start praying for someone or something that does not line up with His Will.  Always listen for God's still small voice and pray for discernment.

~ Prayer ~
Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation,
Speak to my heart as I listen for You through God's Word. 
In my circumstances, through others, or in whatever way
     You choose to communicate with me!
May God's Words shape my prayers and guide my life
     into the midst of Your divine activity!
Help me to be attentive to God's voice, never doubting
     Your ability to share God's heart with my own.

God's Love & Mercy (12.23.18)

My Child,
I know the season you are in, and although you may see little evidence of anything wonderful happening, never forget the good things I have done. Forget not My Tender Mercies.

Haven’t I always been there in your time of need? How soon you forget My Love when your way seems dark. However, in your darkest hour, don’t you know that I Am with you?

I Am shining a light on the blessings
     you may have overlooked.
I Am always there.

Please reflect upon My Mercy and Goodness, they will lead you through the valley into a bright new day. Remember that My Mercy and My Love are unending towards you, so be at peace and know that this difficulty will pass.

Never stop praying and believing for the impossible
     to happen in your life.
Keep your hope in Me alive, and constantly remember
     My loving kindness and mercy towards you.

 

 

 

Read and Meditate on God's Word:

Psalm 86:13 - For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. 

Psalm 86:15 - But thou, O Lord, art a GOD full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
 

Isaiah 63:7 - I will mention the loving kindness of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses

Lamentations 3:21-26 - This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

Hebrews 13:15 - By him therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to GOD continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 

 

 

#ScriptureReflection - John 1:1-18 (12.22.18)

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.

He was in the beginning with God.
All things came to be through him,
and without him nothing came to be.
What came to be through him was life,
and this life was the light of the human race;
the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.

A man named John was sent from God.
He came for testimony, to testify to the light,
so that all might believe through him.
He was not the light,
but came to testify to the light.

The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.
He was in the world,
and the world came to be through him,
but the world did not know him.
He came to what was his own,
but his own people did not accept him.

But to those who did accept him
he gave power to become children of God,
to those who believe in his name,
who were born not by natural generation
nor by human choice nor by a man's decision
but of God.

And the Word became flesh
and made his dwelling among us,
and we saw his glory,
the glory as of the Father's only Son,
full of grace and truth.
John testified to him and cried out, saying,
"This was he of whom I said,
'The one who is coming after me ranks ahead of me
because he existed before me.'"

From his fullness we have all received,
grace in place of grace,
because while the law was given through Moses,
grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

No one has ever seen God.
The only Son, God, who is at the Father's side,
has revealed him.

WHO Said It Was Impossible?!?! (12.21.18)

My Child,
I have something to ask you, “Who told you that you can’t get through this situation? ; Who told you that what you’re going through will destroy you this time? ; Who?!?!”

If it is not written in My Word, then you know it is not true.  I want to remind you that the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy.  he does not want you to know that I delight in those who dare to take Me at My Word.  I delight in those who believe in Me to do the impossible in their lives.  and he does not want you know that.....

Close your ears to the enemy’s voice and instead of seeing this as a situation of impossibility, welcome this as an opportunity to see My Power displayed on your behalf as never before.

When you completely surrender all to Me, I Am able to display My Power.  This is where I Am able to show Myself MIGHTILY on your behalf. 

I cause water to come out of the rock,
     and bread from heaven. 
I cause the impossible to take place.

Oh, what joy it brings me when you bring your impossibilities to Me. When My Loved Ones trust Me enough to be bold in their declarations of My Promises, it fills My Heart with delight.

If only you knew how much I Love you and care for you. 

That impossible situation that has kept you up at night will fade away and your mind will be at peace.  Therefore, rest assured; and know that tomorrow's needs have been taken care of.

Now tell Me again,
     who said it was impossible?

 

 

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD

Proverbs 30:5 - Every word of GOD is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 

Luke 18:27 - And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with GOD. 

John 8:44 - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 

It WILL Be All Right.... Do Not Look Back, Take God's Hand.... & W-A-L-K. (12.20.18)

My Child,
You have carried so much worry and pain upon your precious body, soul, and spirit. 

I Want you to have peace in your life.
Do not hold onto the things which continue
     to pull you away from Me.

Give them to Me and take My yoke upon you.

My Yoke is easy, and My Burden is light.

When you try to bear all your troubles alone, this will take a great toll on your body and mind. Beloved, come to Me in prayer and ask for peace. If you do, then I Will send the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, to give you peace and strength.

Do not worry.  When you worry, you are telling Me that you do not trust Me.

There are some things I Have designed for you to go through.

You see My Child, I Am a Master Planner and there is nothing that you are going through that I don't know about. Trust Me, read My Word daily, spend time with Me in prayer - and know that I have ALL POWER to change anything. 

It will be all right though.

Remember, I Am greater than any burden you will ever face.
My arms are wide open and ready to receive all that
     troubles you.

Place your burdens on Me.
Do not look back.
Take My Hand.
And walk with Me.

Psalm 55:22 - Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Matthew 11:28-30 - Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

#ScriptureReflection - Luke 1:5-25 (12.19.18)

In the days of Herod, King of Judea,
there was a priest named Zechariah
of the priestly division of Abijah;
his wife was from the daughters of Aaron,
and her name was Elizabeth.
Both were righteous in the eyes of God,
observing all the commandments
and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly.
But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren
and both were advanced in years.

Once when he was serving as priest
in his division's turn before God,
according to the practice of the priestly service,
he was chosen by lot
to enter the sanctuary of the Lord to burn incense.
Then, when the whole assembly of the people was praying outside
at the hour of the incense offering,
the angel of the Lord appeared to him,
standing at the right of the altar of incense.
Zechariah was troubled by what he saw, and fear came upon him.

But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechariah,
because your prayer has been heard.
Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son,
and you shall name him John.
And you will have joy and gladness,
and many will rejoice at his birth,
for he will be great in the sight of the Lord.
He will drink neither wine nor strong drink.
He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother's womb,
and he will turn many of the children of Israel
to the Lord their God.
He will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah
to turn the hearts of fathers toward children
and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous,
to prepare a people fit for the Lord."

Then Zechariah said to the angel,
"How shall I know this?
For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years."
And the angel said to him in reply,
"I am Gabriel, who stand before God.
I was sent to speak to you and to announce to you this good news.
But now you will be speechless and unable to talk
until the day these things take place,
because you did not believe my words,
which will be fulfilled at their proper time."
Meanwhile the people were waiting for Zechariah
and were amazed that he stayed so long in the sanctuary.
But when he came out, he was unable to speak to them,
and they realized that he had seen a vision in the sanctuary.
He was gesturing to them but remained mute.

Then, when his days of ministry were completed, he went home.

After this time his wife Elizabeth conceived,
and she went into seclusion for five months, saying,
"So has the Lord done for me at a time when he has seen fit
to take away my disgrace before others."

Shake the Dust Off Your Feet & Get Ready to RUN!!! (12.18.18)

My Child,
Shake the dust off your feet and get ready to run.

Take every thought captive - and regardless of how your body feels, regardless of how your circumstances look - do not stop believing in My Word.

STAND.

Stand firm on My Word, call those things that be not as though they were, and continue to press your way through. 

Claim your breakthrough!!
As you press your way towards
     the vision set before you.

The breakthrough is so close.
Do not give up now.

It’s closer than you realize. 

Yes, I Know it seems as though the battle has increased; but that’s only because the dawn is about to break through. So, SMILE - knowing that My Word will stand through every circumstance you face. 

SMILE, knowing that My Word is prospering and accomplishing all that I Sent My Word out to do.

Now, step boldly out of the ashes!!
And let a song of praise rise up from your heart.

Confess victory in the face of the adversary.
Today is a new day, and things are changing.

Get ready to be blessed, for greater things
     are waiting for you.

Read and Meditate on God's Word

Isaiah 52:2 - Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Isaiah 55:11 - So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Romans 4:17 - (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even GOD, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Philippians 3:13-14 - Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of GOD in Christ Jesus. 

The Strength to Stand in Complete Faith.... Again & Again. (12.17.18)

My Child,

It is hard for you to think that something good could happen in your life.

You're feeling this way because you are allowing your circumstances to cause you to believe it's better not to have faith in anything or anyone again.

I know about the disappointments you have encountered, and I understand why you don’t want to trust anymore. However, you must remember, I Am the One who delivered you through those disappointments, and I Am still the One Who is providing the strength for you to STAND. 

My Child, if you had complete faith in Me (instead of having faith in only what you can see) your heart wouldn’t be full of disappointment or discouragement.

The things you see will change and one day fade away.

However, I Am the same yesterday, today and forever, and I AM with you always. I Will Never disappoint you because I ALWAYS want the best for you.

I Know it may not seem like it when things are going wrong - but believe Me Beloved, I Do cause good things to happen.

Have faith in Me again,
     and do not turn away.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
