#ScriptureReflection - Ezekiel 24:15-23 (8.20.18)

The word of the LORD came to me:
Son of man, by a sudden blow
I am taking away from you the delight of your eyes,
but do not mourn or weep or shed any tears.

Groan in silence, make no lament for the dead,
bind on your turban, put your sandals on your feet,
do not cover your beard, and do not eat the customary bread.

That evening my wife died,
and the next morning I did as I had been commanded.
Then the people asked me, "Will you not tell us what all these things
that you are doing mean for us?"
I therefore spoke to the people that morning, saying to them:
Thus the word of the LORD came to me:
Say to the house of Israel:
Thus says the Lord GOD:
I will now desecrate my sanctuary, the stronghold of your pride,
the delight of your eyes, the desire of your soul.

The sons and daughters you left behind shall fall by the sword.
Ezekiel shall be a sign for you:
all that he did you shall do when it happens.
Thus you shall know that I am the LORD.

You shall do as I have done,
not covering your beards nor eating the customary bread.
Your turbans shall remain on your heads, your sandals on your feet.

You shall not mourn or weep,
but you shall rot away because of your sins and groan one to another.

Patience (8.19.18)

For when GOD made promise to Abraham because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. - Hebrews 6:13-15 


Faith Believers,
The Lord understands how hard it is for us to wait for His Promises, especially when it seems that everything around us is falling apart. Sometimes, the Lord will wait before He blesses us; in order to teach us how to glory in tribulations.  So that we can understand that the tribulations we endure strengthen our patience.  And patience, experience.  And experience hope. We cannot allow the things we see with our eyes to cause us to lose hope and give up before we receive our blessings.  We must hope for what we do not see, and the only way to do this is with patience.

Isaiah 30:18 - And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a GOD of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

Hebrews 10:36-37 - For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of GOD, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Remember what the angel told Daniel, From the moment we set our heart to seek the Lord for an answer to our problems, He hears us - Daniel 10:12.  Just because the answer doesn’t come when expected, doesn’t mean that the Lord hasn’t heard our prayer.  We must hold fast to our confession of faith and patiently wait on the Lord.

What we think is a delay is "patience" doing a perfect work in our life.  We need to allow "patience" to do her thing and stop trying to get ahead of the Lord by taking matters into our own hands and forcing things to happen.

Patiently wait, and the Lord will bring you out into a better place. 

Hear God's Still Small Voice:

My Child,
I’ve spoken to you about a breakthrough that’s in your midst, and
     you are wondering why this breakthrough hasn’t manifested.

My Child, do not be weary, for My Promises are indeed coming to fruition. A little more patience is what you need at this moment. There is no reason to get into a rush because you are in a holding pattern. I know patience isn’t always easy to come by; therefore, continually ask Me to renew your strength as you wait.

I know you may not fully understand the process of what I Am doing. However, have faith in Me, and trust Me with every little detail. I have never failed. Please know, I have not forgotten you. Do not let this battle cause you to despair; but seek Me to find comfort and strength in your time of need.

Immerse yourself in My Word and allow it to feed and fuel your spirit, while you patiently wait for your breakthrough.

You will not be defeated.
Believe My Words shall come to pass. 

Have patience, come to Me, rest in My Arms
     and know that I am bringing healing and
     deliverance in every area of your life.

 

 

 

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Hebrews 10:36 - For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of GOD, ye might receive the promise.

James 1:3-4 - Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 5:10-11 - Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy.

Colossians 3:12 - Put on therefore, as the elect of GOD, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

 

 

 

#ScriptureReflection - Ephesians 5:15-20 (8.18.18)

Brothers and sisters:
Watch carefully how you live,
not as foolish persons but as wise,
making the most of the opportunity,
because the days are evil.

Therefore, do not continue in ignorance,
but try to understand what is the will of the Lord.

And do not get drunk on wine, in which lies debauchery,
but be filled with the Spirit,
addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and playing to the Lord in your hearts,
giving thanks always and for everything
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

Listening to Jesus Christ (8.17.18)

Faith Believers,
It is impossible to do what the Lord desires,
     unless we take time to listen to Him.

We can only do this by being still and ceasing our busy, activity-filled lives. Sometimes all GOD wants to speak to us are words of love and affirmation. Many times He may require nothing of you but to sit and enjoy His company.

However, it is a very clear command from GOD that we are to listen to His Son: Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: ‘This is My Son, whom I love, Listen to Him!’ - Mark 9:7. It is implied that listening involves obeying. Truly hearing GOD is to be obedient to what He says: Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves, do what it says - James 1:22.

Jesus expressed confidence that those who will be still before Him will live lives that are filled with divine intervention. The Lord said, My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand - John 10:27-28. 

 

 Your children and grandchildren are watching how you live your life. Are they learning the lifestyle of Martha…or Mary? …Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her - Luke 10:42.

~ Prayer ~
Lord Jesus,
I have so much in common with Martha, which is not such a bad thing!

Yet, I do long to learn a lesson from her sister, who spent her time sitting at Your Feet, simply learning from You and adoring You!

Out of the overflow of her devotion,
     she lived her life for You.

Help me to be still, and to keep my eyes fixed upon Your Blessed Face, so that I will not miss You in the midst of my busy life!

Draw me close, Jesus, so that those who follow after me
    will learn to know that You are GOD!

You Must Walk Through, You Must Keep Moving, You Must not Stop ... & Cross Your Red Sea (8.16.18)

My Child,
You have come to a place in your life where you cannot turn around, and you cannot see how to go forward. You are at the Red Sea of your life. 

I have not brought you this far to leave you. I brought you into the wilderness, and I Will lead you out. Lift your head high and praise Me. Praise Me until the Red Sea in your life opens.
 
Walk. 
Walk on through.
Do not be afraid.

I have not brought you this far to leave you. Lo, I Am with you always, even until the end of the earth. I Will not allow the waters to overtake thee. Be not afraid, I Am with you.

I Am your GOD.
Use what I have given you.

Stretch out and use what is in your hands. 

Walk on.  I Am waiting for you. I Will turn your defeat into victory, your tears into joy, and your cries into praise. 

All you must do is keep moving, 
keep praising, keep lifting My Name.
You must walk through.
You must keep moving.
You must not stop.
 
Your Red Sea has a purpose in your life,
     so keep going.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

Walk on through; do not stop.
Lift your head high and praise Me.
Praise Me until the Red Sea in your
     life opens.

Exodus 14:14-16 - The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. 

Isaiah 43:2 - When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. 

Deuteronomy 31:8 - And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Psalm 145:2 - Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name forever and ever.

Hebrews 13:15 - By him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to GOD continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

#ScriptureReflection - Revelations 11:19; 12:1-6, 10 (8.15.18)

God's temple in heaven was opened,
and the ark of his covenant could be seen in the temple.

A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun,
with the moon under her feet,
and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth.
Then another sign appeared in the sky;
it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns,
and on its heads were seven diadems.
Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky
and hurled them down to the earth.
Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth,
to devour her child when she gave birth.
She gave birth to a son, a male child,
destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod.
Her child was caught up to God and his throne.
The woman herself fled into the desert
where she had a place prepared by God.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
"Now have salvation and power come,
and the Kingdom of our God
and the authority of his Anointed One."

Rise in the Authority & Strength that God has Imparted in You.... (8.14.18)

My Child,
There are many new things ahead for you. 

Right now, I know all you can see is the storm and the raging seas, but I see the land that lies ahead.  If you could just take your eyes off your situation, off the waves and look to Me.  Your spiritual eyes will reveal to you the new land ahead of you.  The new land I promised you.

All you can see in the natural is an ocean of need, problems, and conflicts that continue to roll in.  Oh, how I wish you would see things through the eyes of faith.  If you did, you would see that just beyond the horizon there is brand new land waiting for you.  A brand new land that was created out of all that you went through. 

Yes, all that you've experienced has been
     formed into a blessing just for you.

So, do not give up now.
Press forward, for the time will not be long now until you see the things I said would come to pass in your life. 

Once you arrive in your new land you will understand why you had to travel through that valley.  You’ll understand why your boat was tossed upon the stormy seas.  And you will understand and see why everything that you went through was well worth it… for it was for My Glory.

Now, rise in the authority and the strength
     that I have imparted in you, for the journey
     will soon be over.

 

 

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD:
Jeremiah 11:5 - So that I may fulfil the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then I answered and said, Amen, O Jehovah. 

Romans 8:18 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed in us

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 - For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us a far more excellent eternal weight of glory, while we do not consider the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are not lasting, but the things which are not seen are everlasting. 

Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? 

Romans 4:20-21 - He did not stagger at the promise of GOD through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to GOD, and being fully persuaded that what GOD had promised, He was also able to perform. 

If You Want to See God Move, Then Start Believing in Him More than You Believe in the World (8.13.18)

Yes, this is the season of expectation.

However, some of you have stopped expecting to receive, because of the struggles in your lives. Beloved, what would have happened if those before you had stopped expecting Me to bless them? 

What if Abraham had stopped expecting his son? 
What if Moses stopped expecting Me to perform miracles for him?
What if Joseph stopped expecting his dreams to come to pass?
What if someone had stopped praying and expecting you to be
     saved from the hands of the enemy?
And what if I, Jesus Christ, had given up on My Father hearing
     My Prayer and sending the angels to minister to Me
      so that I could make it to the Cross?

Dear one, I Am just as alive today as when I walked the earth with My Disciples. 

 

The same miracles I performed back then, I Will do again; but only if you believe and expect to see them. I Went to My Father, and sent the Holy Spirit, so that you could do greater things.

However, greater things won’t happen if you don’t
     believe and expect them to happen.
Oh, ye of little faith.

Why don’t you expect to see miracles and greater
     things happen in your life? 
Why have you allowed problems and situations to be
     on your mind and your tongue all the time? 

I thought I was the One that you loved more than anything?  If I Am, then why don’t you give Me the praise and glory that I deserve?  Why do you give glory and honor to that which troubles you? Oh, that you would believe again.  Oh, that you would believe in Me the way you believe in the problems which plague your soul. 

Oh, magnify My Name!
Lift up My Name, Jesus Christ, in praise!

If My People want to see Me move among them; then it is time they start believing in Me, My Father and the Holy Spirit more than they believe in this world.  If My People want to see signs, wonders and miracles happen; then they need to walk by faith and be led by My Holy Spirit. I Am searching for the ones who are willing to step out on unshakable faith and allow Me to work miracles through them; for I Am sending revival fire throughout the land.

Oh, lift up your voice and sing a new song this day!
Sing a song of praise!
It is time for My People to grab hold of My Truth and proclaim it,
     for this is a season of expectation and obeying My Voice.
I am the God of Miracles, I changeth not.  

As you step out in faith and speak My Word with all
     boldness, expect to see multitudes touched by
     My Power.

Expect to see change throughout the land; for I Will move through those who will walk by faith and give Me the glory and praise. So, if My People, who are called by My Name, will let go of their problems, take hold of My Word and walk by faith, you will see miracles happen.

  

 

Read and Meditate on God's Word:

2Ch. 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

Mat. 6:30  Wherefore, if GOD so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

John 14:12-13 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Act 4:29-30 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. 

 

 

 

It Is Well (8.12.18)

My Child,
Do not stop walking by faith.
Your life must be one of complete
     obedience to My Word.

Although you cannot see how things are going to get better, walk by faith and not by sight.

When it may appear that you’ve missed your blessing; remember things are not always what they seem, so walk by faith.  Do not allow thoughts of negativity to enter your mind when things don’t happen as you had hoped. You must keep believing and confess Words of Faith.

Know in your heart that things are working
     for your good and that it is well.

Saturate your mind with My Words and let your thoughts be of victory.  Yes, celebrate the victory in your mind right now. Do not wait until you see it, to believe it. 

That which you think about the most, shall come to pass.  If you keep thinking that it is over, and things won’t get any better, it will be.

Therefore, whatsoever is good, whatsoever is true, whatsoever is lovely and of a good report, think about those things. Think about My Goodness.  Think about My Promises, until they consume your soul and cause you to believe that "it is well."

My Child, in the midst of your impossibilities, keep confessing, “It is well. It is well. It is well with my soul”. No matter what the situation looks like, no matter what the doctor told you, no matter how you feel - never entertain doubt or unbelief.

Shut the mouth of the enemy with My Word.

And as you walk through your valley, speak forth My Word and let everyone know, “Yea, though I walk through the valley, I will not be afraid because the Lord is with Me and IT IS WELL.”

Oh, My Child, it is well, it is well.

John 20:29 - Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 

Psalm 23:4 - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 

#ScriptureReflection - Ephesians 4:30-5:2 (8.11.18)

Brothers and sisters:
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,
with which you were sealed for the day of redemption.
All bitterness, fury, anger, shouting, and reviling
must be removed from you, along with all malice.
And be kind to one another, compassionate,
forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.

So be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love,
as Christ loved us and handed himself over for us
as a sacrificial offering to God for a fragrant aroma.
