#ScriptureReflection - Joshua 4 (6.15.19)

Memorial Stones. ¹ After the entire nation had completed the crossing of the Jordan, ² the Lord said to Joshua: Choose twelve men from the people, one from each tribe, ³ and command them, “Take up twelve stones from this spot in the Jordan riverbed where the priests have been standing. Carry them over with you, and place them where you are to stay tonight.”

⁴ Summoning the twelve men he had selected from among the Israelites, one from each tribe, ⁵ Joshua said to them: “Go to the Jordan riverbed in front of the ark of the Lord, your God; lift to your shoulders one stone apiece, so that they will equal in number the tribes of the Israelites. ⁶ In the future, these are to be a sign among you. When your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ ⁷ you shall answer them, ‘The waters of the Jordan ceased to flow before the ark of the covenant of the Lord when it crossed the Jordan.’ Thus these stones are to serve as a perpetual memorial to the Israelites.” ⁸ The twelve Israelites did as Joshua had commanded: they took up twelve stones from the Jordan riverbed as the Lord had said to Joshua, one for each of the tribes of the Israelites. They carried them along to the camp site, and there they placed them. ⁹ Joshua set up the twelve stones that had been in the Jordan riverbed on the spot where the priests stood who were carrying the ark of the covenant. They are there to this day.

¹⁰ The priests carrying the ark stood in the Jordan riverbed until everything had been done that the Lord had commanded Joshua to tell the people, just as Moses had commanded Joshua. The people crossed over quickly, ¹¹ and when all the people had completed the crossing, the ark of the Lord also crossed; and the priests were now in front of them. ¹² The Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh, armed, marched in the vanguard of the Israelites, as Moses had ordered. ¹³ About forty thousand troops, equipped for battle, crossed over before the Lord to the plains of Jericho for war.
¹⁴ That day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel, and so during his whole life they feared him as they had feared Moses.

¹⁵ Then the Lord said to Joshua: ¹⁶ Command the priests carrying the ark of the covenant to come up from the Jordan. ¹⁷ Joshua commanded the priests, “Come up from the Jordan,” ¹⁸ and when the priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord had come up from the Jordan riverbed, as the soles of their feet regained the dry ground, the waters of the Jordan resumed their course and as before overflowed all its banks.
 
¹⁹ The people came up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and camped in Gilgal on the eastern limits of Jericho. ²⁰ At Gilgal Joshua set up the twelve stones that had been taken from the Jordan, ²¹ saying to the Israelites, “In the future, when your children ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’ ²² you shall inform them, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan here on dry ground.’ ²³ For the Lord, your God, dried up the waters of the Jordan in front of you until you crossed over, just as the Lord, your God, had done at the Red Sea, drying it up in front of us until we crossed over, ²⁴ in order that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the Lord is mighty, and that you may fear the Lord, your God, forever.”

Let It Go, Give 'Those Broken Things' Over to God... (6.14.19)

My Child,
Let go of everything that is producing stress in your life.  Do not hang onto it any longer. 

You keep saying to yourself, “It’s not that bad, and I can fix it." However, you have yet to realize that you cannot fix everything. No, I’m not saying to give up and throw it away. But I Am asking you to let go of it and give it to Me.  I Am the One... Who can fix it.  I Am the One... Who can put the broken pieces back together again, and cause you to see them in a new way.

You’ve wasted too much precious time trying to fix it and worrying; and it has not improved your situation. The only thing worrying has done for you is to open the door to depression and caused your faith to decrease.  When you worry too much, it affects every area of your life and before you know it, things are out of your ability to control, and it leaves you feeling helpless.

I Do Not want you feeling helpless. 
I Want you to let go and trust Me with
      those things you cannot change.

Trust Me with every difficult situation in your life - be it physically, emotionally, mentally, or financially.  If you do let go and trust Me, I Will provide the help that you need.  I Want to help and I Will help.... if you let go. 

If you let go and give it to Me; I Will give you peace, wisdom, and direction in your circumstances.

My Child, when you let go and give it to Me, I Will be able to restore and make that which was broken, better than new.

So, let go of what is broken in your life.... and allow Me, the Potter, your Loving Father; to fix it.

Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

#ScriptureReflection - 2 Corinthians 3:12 - 4:6 (6.13.19)

¹² Therefore, since we have such hope, we act very boldly ¹³ and not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites could not look intently at the cessation of what was fading. ¹⁴ Rather, their thoughts were rendered dull, for to this present day the same veil remains unlifted when they read the old covenant, because through Christ it is taken away.

¹⁵ To this day, in fact, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts, ¹⁶ but whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed. ¹⁷ Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. ¹⁸ All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit.

 

Integrity in the Ministry. ¹ Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy shown us, we are not discouraged. ² Rather, we have renounced shameful, hidden things; not acting deceitfully or falsifying the word of God, but by the open declaration of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. ³ And even though our gospel is veiled, it is veiled for those who are perishing,

⁴ in whose case the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that they may not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. ⁵ For we do not preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus. ⁶ For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of [Jesus] Christ.

Allow God to Bless You.... His Way (6.12.19)

My Child,

My desire is to give you good gifts beyond what you can think or imagine.  However, you must release this poverty mentality; because your limited expectations of Me are hindering My Ability to bless you. 

Oh My Child, I Have so much for you.  And it’s more than you can think or imagine. I Am a loving Father, who delights to give good gifts to His Dear Children; but I cannot do this if you continue to bind My Hands with all your limitations.  

Please stop limiting Me on how I Will bless you, or how much blessing I Want to pour into your life. Stop basing My Blessings to you, on what you think you can afford, or what you believe you deserve. And please, stop making excuses, thinking of why I Should not bless you; for all have sinned and come short of My Glory. 

Instead, I Want you to open your heart, to open your hands, and receive the good gifts that I Desire to pour out on you.  Allow Me to bless you the way I Want to bless you -- with no limits.  

My Child, when you learn to trust Me in all things, you will be amazed at what I Will do for you. Therefore, please do not hinder Me from doing what brings Me joy and delight, and that is blessing you.  Receive My Blessings with a heart of thanksgiving, for I Have so many good things I Want to do for you.  

Therefore, allow Me to bless you My Way.  All you have to do is be ready to receive the blessings.

¹ In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
    let me never be put to shame;
    deliver me in your righteousness.
² Turn your ear to me,
    come quickly to my rescue;
be my rock of refuge,
    a strong fortress to save me.
³ Since you are my rock and my fortress,
    for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
⁴ Keep me free from the trap that is set for me,
    for you are my refuge.
⁵ Into your hands I commit my spirit;
    deliver me, Lord, my faithful God.

Embrace Where God Has You (6.10.19)

My Child,
I Know that it’s hard being where you are right now. Everything within you is screaming, “Enough. I cannot do this anymore. When can I move on from this valley?”

My Child, can you honestly admit that you are ready to move on? Is your heart filled with thanksgiving? Do you want Me to answer that for you?  For some of you, you have yet to embrace where I Have you; and until you can, many won’t be able to move on to the next level.

As I have told you before, everything that you go through has a purpose, and there is a purpose for where you are. You say to Me that you are grateful for what I have done in your life. However, for some of you, your actions do not reflect the heart of one filled with gratitude.

Let Me remind you of another time when you were seeking Me for a breakthrough to a situation that held you captive.  After a season of praying about what you were going through; one day, you woke up and said, “Lord, nevertheless, not My Will but let Thy will be done. I just want to please you.” 

 

Immediately after you said those words, things fell into place. Strongholds were destroyed. The chains that held you bound were broken by a heart filled with thanksgiving for Me. All you wanted was to please Me, and nothing else mattered. For some of you, can you say you are in that same place now?

Yes, I Know you want a change to happen right now. However, for many, until you can accept where I Have you, and embrace what I Am doing in your life; things will remain the same. I Want you to desire Me, more than you desire what is in My Hands. Do this and watch how things will change. 

Embrace where you are with your heart filled with thanksgiving, you will be amazed once more at what I Will do.

I Know that what you are going through is difficult.  However, learning to be thankful opened closed doors for you before, and it will do it again.  Embracing My Love and giving Me thanks will cause My Peace to saturate your soul and open the storehouse of Heaven. That’s all it takes; just embracing My Love and embracing where I have you.

My Child,
Be still and discern what’s hindering your walk in the Holy Spirit. However, I Think you already know the answer. There are people you must forgive, and issues to release - so that you can be free to move with My Holy Spirit...  Free to move fully unhindered. 

The enemy will use bitterness and unforgiveness to defile you and everything you represent. So you must set watch, and DO NOT allow disagreement and unforgiveness to hinder My Purposes in and around your life.

Please forgive.
Forgive as I Have forgiven you.

Beloved, meditate in silence with Me; so that you can understand how important it is for you to keep your mind and heart clear - spiritually, mentally and emotionally - of anything not pleasing in My Sight.  Otherwise, there will be things in the natural realm that will drain your physical and spiritual energy. 

Forgive and refuse to be controlled by negative influences that may come against you. Take some time right now to deal with all unforgiveness, so you can receive My Abundant Blessings.

Yes, God Can Be Trusted (6.7.19)

My Child,
I hear the constant thoughts coming from your mind. Yes, I hear the things you don’t speak. You’ve been asking yourself, “Can the Lord really see me through?” 

Well, let Me answer that for you, “Yes, I can. I can be trusted.ʺ  I Am the same GOD you trusted in the past; nothing has changed. Do you honestly believe that I Would forsake you in your greatest time of need?

The worst is already behind you,
     so, stop belittling yourself.

Don’t you know that each time you speak bad things to yourself - you're giving it power over your life? Each time you say, “That was so stupid of me,ʺ it only magnifies the mistake you made. A mistake for which youʹve received forgiveness.

Don’t allow those words to take control of your spirit.
Everything I Made was good and perfect, and I Made you.

Soon, you will see some interesting provisions
     coming your way, seemingly out of nowhere. 

You will be amazed at what I Am doing in your life
      to bring glory to My Kingdom. 

The provisions will exceed your expectations. 

You asked Me to supply your needs, but I Am a
     Father who goes above and beyond for
     His Children.

Remove those anxious thoughts from your mind,
     and start thinking of the good things I’ve done
     in your life.

Philippians 4:6-7 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto GOD.  And the peace of GOD, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Stand & Believe; Be Bold & Courageous; and Trust in God's Grace.... For His Grace is Sufficient. (6.6.19)

My Child,
Please listen.
I have not forgotten you.

You cannot even begin to imagine how much I Love and Care for you. I Have chosen you for such a time as this.

I Know you are weary, because you have been stuck where you are for such a long time. However, just as I Was With Joseph in his holding place, so I Am with you. You are where I Need you to be right now; because of the work that must be done for My Kingdom. My Grace is more than sufficient for you.

I Know you’re being physically and emotionally challenged as never before; but I Tell you that you are too close to give up now. All that has come against you has strengthened your faith, and caused you to be more than a survivor.  

Take a good look at yourself....  Can’t you see how strong you’ve become? 

 

Why would you even think of going back to your old lifestyle just because of what you are going through? Be bold and courageous and trust in My Grace. Take control of this current situation, just as you did in past times, with prayer and faith in Me. Let your prayers shake the very foundation of where you are and watch doors swing wide open for you.

I Say unto you, keep praying and trusting in Me. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; but press on, straight ahead. Do not give up because My Grace will see you through. 

 

My Grace is more than enough. 

 

Yes, the times and circumstances will try your faith, but be of good cheer.  Stand and believe, and you will pass the test - just as you did before. My Grace has always supplied all your needs, and that has not changed; so never give up. 

 

Keep your eyes focused on Me and
     see this situation become a
     victory, in My name.

Hebrews 10:38 - Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
