#ScriptureReflection - Isaiah 42:1-9 (1.11.21)

The Servant of the Lord

42 “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,
My Elect One in whom My soul delights!

I have put My Spirit upon Him;

He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,

Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.

A bruised reed He will not break,

And smoking flax He will not quench;
He will bring forth justice for truth.

He will not fail nor be discouraged,
Till He has established justice in the earth;
And the coastlands shall wait for His law.”

Thus says God the Lord,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,
Who gives breath to the people on it,
And spirit to those who walk on it:

“I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the Gentiles,

To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.

I am the Lord, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

Refuse to Doubt (1.10.21)

My Child,
For some of you, the enemy is attempting to do all that he can think to do to undermine your faith, through discouragement; so that, for some of you, all you will do is think of the things that you do not have.  For some of you, the enemy wants you to focus on how hard you are struggling, while others seem to get everything they want.  However, I Say to those of you who may be feeling this way - fret not.  Neither be dismayed nor concerned with the deeds of others. I, The Lord your GOD, have not forgotten you; nor have I Forgotten your Labor of Love.

I See that which troubles you, Child.

Stand.
Do not be moved.
Pray on.

And do not faint.
Be not weary.

Do not lose faith, nor worry, about the things you may see going on around you. This is a faith walk.  Therefore, refuse to allow doubt or discouragement to arise in your heart, your spirit or your mind.  Have FULL ASSURANCE that if you ask anything, according to My Will, that I hear your prayer.  And then believe that My Answer is on the way.

Be patient and wait for My Promise.
Wait for My Timing, in all things.

My Child, I Know that at times it may be hard for some of you to have faith.  For some of you, when the enemy is coming against you like a flood, your faith waivers.  That can no longer be so.  From this day forward, that can no longer be so.

Child, when and if your faith waivers - that is the very time to put on My Full Armor, to gird up, to STAND in faith, and to remember all the past victories We Won.

That is the time to Praise My Name.
That is the time to RISE in faith,
     COME BOLDLY before My Throne,
     and let your requests be made known.
That is the time to rebuke the enemy.
That is the time to refuse to doubt.
That is the time to trust Me to bring forth the fruit
     of My Promise. To you.  On time.

My Child, do not ever doubt My Promises.
I Will answer.
And I Will be "on time."

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Psalm 37:1-2; 4-5 - Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Delight thyself also in the LORD, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass

Ephesians 6:13 - Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Hebrews 4:16 - Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Luke 18:1 - And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Isaiah 59:19 - …When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

1 John 5:14-15 - Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

A January 2021 'See A New Day' Prayer (1.9.21)

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for waking me up this morning to see a new day.

Father, I come to you, asking that You keep me and my family in a state of peace; regardless of how this world has appeared to spiral out of control. the enemy and his principalities have been loosen on this earth, just how it was told in the book of Revelations. Truly Father, I know that we are living in the last seconds before Your return; because You Are sending all of the signs listed in Your Book of Revelations.

Oh GOD, help us - Your Children - not to become alarmed and scared; because you have not given us the spirit of fear, but of peace and a sound mind.  Again, regardless of what we face. We know who You Are, and what you have promised to those who have given their lives to You. Almighty Lord Jesus Christ, I trust and believe in You and the power that was given to You by The Father. Jesus, You Are watching everything and You Have all power to control the works of the enemy. Father God, You have given us - Your Children - power over the enemy as well. Your Word says that we must pray, and rebuke the works of the enemy, and he will flee.

Father God - regardless of the evil unfolding right before our eyes - You Are still in control of all things.

There is nothing happening that has surprised You, and according to Your Time, You Will Decide when 'enough is enough.'  Everything will unfold according to Your Divine Time and Your Powerful Purpose; just the way You Said it would.

I Pray Father God for those who do not know You.
You said in Your Word that You do not wish that
     any should perish; but that all will come to
     You, before it is too late.

Father God, help us and have mercy on us during this time.

I pray this prayer in the Mighty Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Amen

#ScriptureReflection - 1 John 5:5-13 (1.8.21)

Who [indeed] is the victor over the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is the one who came through water and blood, Jesus Christ, not by water alone, but by water and blood. The Spirit is the one that testifies, and the Spirit is truth. So there are three that testify, the Spirit, the water, and the blood, and the three are of one accord. If we accept human testimony, the testimony of God is surely greater. Now the testimony of God is this, that he has testified on behalf of his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar by not believing the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever possesses the Son has life; whoever does not possess the Son of God does not have life.

IV. Epilogue

Prayer for Sinners. 13 I write these things to you so that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God.

#ScriptureReflection - Proverbs 8 (1.7.21)

Wisdom’s Call

Does not wisdom call out?
    Does not understanding raise her voice?
At the highest point along the way,
    where the paths meet, she takes her stand;
beside the gate leading into the city,
    at the entrance, she cries aloud:
“To you, O people, I call out;
    I raise my voice to all mankind.
You who are simple, gain prudence;
    you who are foolish, set your hearts on it.
Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say;
    I open my lips to speak what is right.

My mouth speaks what is true,
    for my lips detest wickedness.

All the words of my mouth are just;
    none of them is crooked or perverse.
To the discerning all of them are right;
    they are upright to those who have found knowledge.

10 Choose my instruction instead of silver,
    knowledge rather than choice gold,
11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies,
    and nothing you desire can compare with her.

12 “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence;
    I possess knowledge and discretion.

13 To fear the Lord is to hate evil;
    I hate pride and arrogance,
    evil behavior and perverse speech.
14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine;
    I have insight, I have power.

15 By me kings reign
    and rulers issue decrees that are just;
16 by me princes govern,
    and nobles—all who rule on earth.
17 I love those who love me,
    and those who seek me find me.

18 With me are riches and honor,
    enduring wealth and prosperity.

19 My fruit is better than fine gold;
    what I yield surpasses choice silver.
20 I walk in the way of righteousness,
    along the paths of justice,
21 bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me
    and making their treasuries full.

22 “The Lord brought me forth as the first of his works,
    before his deeds of old;
23 I was formed long ages ago,
    at the very beginning, when the world came to be.

24 When there were no watery depths, I was given birth,
    when there were no springs overflowing with water;
25 before the mountains were settled in place,
    before the hills, I was given birth,
26 before he made the world or its fields
    or any of the dust of the earth.
27 I was there when he set the heavens in place,
    when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
28 when he established the clouds above
    and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,
29 when he gave the sea its boundary
    so the waters would not overstep his command,
and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.
30     Then I was constantly at his side.
I was filled with delight day after day,
    rejoicing always in his presence,
31 rejoicing in his whole world
    and delighting in mankind.

32 “Now then, my children, listen to me;
    blessed are those who keep my ways.
33 Listen to my instruction and be wise;
    do not disregard it.
34 Blessed are those who listen to me,
    watching daily at my doors,
    waiting at my doorway.
35 For those who find me find life
    and receive favor from the Lord.
36 But those who fail to find me harm themselves;
    all who hate me love death.”

Talk to God. Talk to Jesus. They are NEVER too Busy. And They have ALL the Right Answers to the Issues You Face.... (1.6.21)

My Child,
For those time when you may be feeling down, it is then that you are more susceptible to the attacks of the enemy.

he will encourage you to feel sorry for yourself, to wallow in those thoughts and feelings; so that you are never able to rise above your pain.  However, in the midst of your pain is when you should seek My Face, seek My Son's Face and call out to Us.  When you call upon Me, I Will send My Holy Spirit; and I Will Come and Minister to you.  To take away your pain.  I Long to hold you close to Me. Cease all your striving and come talk to Me.

Stop allowing your pain to cause you to lash out at others.
Do not become angry with others, and lash out at them during your trials.

I Am the Only One Who can, and Who Will, put an end to all that you may be going through. Lashing out at others will never ease your pain, nor will lashing out bring deliverance from the attacks from the enemy.  In fact, lashing out will only increase the enemy's attacks and place you at multiple disadvantages.

Know this My Child, at the mention of My Name - at the mention of My Son's Name - at the mention of My Holy Spirit's Name - the enemy will flee.  The Name of My Son, Jesus Christ, makes satan very uneasy; and he cannot stay in your presence once you mention My Son's Name.

So humble yourself and seek My Face.
I Want to bear your burdens.
Do not hold onto the pain and hurt,
     but call out to Me.

I Want to heal you.
I Want to hold you close,
     and wipe away your tears.

Have you forgotten where your strength and your help comes from?

Oh, My Child, if only you would lift your head up from all that troubles you.  Then you would see that I Am Standing right there with you.  My Son is standing right there with you.  My Holy Spirit is waiting to walk right there with you.

So, talk to Me often.
Praise Me often.

You do not have to go through this alone.  In fact, I Did not create you to go through this alone.  You are supposed to lean on Me.  Seek My Wisdom, My Counsel, My Comfort, My Solution and My Resolution.  Nothing about this life of yours did I Ever Intend for you to do alone.

My Child, for some of you, you’ve tried everything else.

Why not try Me?
Why not try My Son, Jesus?

So that you can be at peace.
Filled with My Joy.
Filled with My Love.
Filled with My Peace.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Psalm 40:1-2 - I waited patiently for the LORD, and he inclined unto me and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Ephesians 4:26-27 - Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.

1 Peter 5:6-7 - Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of GOD, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 Peter 5:10 - But the GOD of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

#ScriptureReflection - Mark 6:34-56 (1.5.21)

 34 Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.

35 Late in the afternoon his disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. 36 Send the crowds away so they can go to the nearby farms and villages and buy something to eat.”

37 But Jesus said, “You feed them.”

“With what?” they asked. “We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!”

38 “How much bread do you have?” he asked. “Go and find out.”

They came back and reported, “We have five loaves of bread and two fish.”

39 Then Jesus told the disciples to have the people sit down in groups on the green grass. 40 So they sat down in groups of fifty or a hundred.

41 Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. He also divided the fish for everyone to share. 42 They all ate as much as they wanted, 43 and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftover bread and fish. 44 A total of 5,000 men and their families were fed.

Jesus Walks on Water

45 Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and head across the lake to Bethsaida, while he sent the people home. 46 After telling everyone good-bye, he went up into the hills by himself to pray.

47 Late that night, the disciples were in their boat in the middle of the lake, and Jesus was alone on land. 48 He saw that they were in serious trouble, rowing hard and struggling against the wind and waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. He intended to go past them, 49 but when they saw him walking on the water, they cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost. 50 They were all terrified when they saw him.

But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage! I am here!” 51 Then he climbed into the boat, and the wind stopped. They were totally amazed, 52 for they still didn’t understand the significance of the miracle of the loaves. Their hearts were too hard to take it in.

53 After they had crossed the lake, they landed at Gennesaret. They brought the boat to shore 54 and climbed out. The people recognized Jesus at once, 55 and they ran throughout the whole area, carrying sick people on mats to wherever they heard he was. 56 Wherever he went—in villages, cities, or the countryside—they brought the sick out to the marketplaces. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.

#ScriptureReflection - 1 John 3:22 - 4:6 (1.4.21)

Beloved:
We receive from him whatever we ask,
because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
And his commandment is this:
we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ,
and love one another just as he commanded us.
Those who keep his commandments remain in him, and he in them,
and the way we know that he remains in us
is from the Spirit whom he gave us.

Beloved, do not trust every spirit
but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God,
because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

This is how you can know the Spirit of God:
every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ come in the flesh
belongs to God,
and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus
does not belong to God.

This is the spirit of the antichrist
who, as you heard, is to come,
but in fact is already in the world.

You belong to God, children, and you have conquered them,
for the one who is in you
is greater than the one who is in the world.
They belong to the world;
accordingly, their teaching belongs to the world,
and the world listens to them.
We belong to God, and anyone who knows God listens to us,
while anyone who does not belong to God refuses to hear us.

This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.

A New Time Begins..... NOW! (1.3.21)

My Child,
Do not fear the disappointments of the past, for today you will start anew.

Nothing that once was, will matter, from here on.  It is My Desire to wash and cleanse you of all that has hindered you in the past.  I Want you to get your house in order, and live EVERY DAY - from this day forward - with your house order, under My Lordship and under My Authority.

It is a new day.  It is time to cast aside anything that would hold you back.  It is time to cast aside anything that would keep you from walking with Me.

It is time to set your heart and emotions in agreement with My Priorities; so that you are not hindered by things that could cause you harm.  It is time to lay aside offense, strife, and anger; and to embrace forgiveness as freely as My Son and I Have Forgiven you.  It is time to embrace the Love of your brethren, and Love them, as We Have Loved you.

It is time to lay aside your own agendas, and embrace mine.  My Child, the time is coming soon when I Will pour out My Power and My Anointing on those who have - under the guidance of My Holy Spirit - set their Spiritual Houses in order.

I Am looking for a people - set apart and dedicated to Me - that I Might Show My Glory, through them.

Therefore, I Say to you, Child - do not resist what I Am doing in your life.

It is time to get things in order.
For all things are being made new.

Lift up your hearts.
A new time, now, begins for you.

It is a time of completion.
It is a time of completeness.
It is a time of total victory,
     over what has hindered you
     in the past.

A new time begins....
Right Now.
Today.

A new time....
Your new time....
Our new time....
begins....
NOW!

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Isaiah 41:15 - Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

Isaiah 42:9 - Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them

Ephesians 4:22-24 - That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after GOD is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as GOD for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

#ScriptureReflection - Exodus 15:1-21 (1.2.21)

Chapter 15

Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord:

I will sing to the Lord, for he is gloriously triumphant;
    horse and chariot he has cast into the sea.
My strength and my refuge is the Lord,
    and he has become my savior.
This is my God, I praise him;
    the God of my father, I extol him.

The Lord is a warrior,
    Lord is his name!

Pharaoh’s chariots and army he hurled into the sea;
    the elite of his officers were drowned in the Red Sea.
The flood waters covered them,
    they sank into the depths like a stone.
Your right hand, O Lord, magnificent in power,
    your right hand, O Lord, shattered the enemy.

In your great majesty you overthrew your adversaries;
    you loosed your wrath to consume them like stubble.

At the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up,

    the flowing waters stood like a mound,
    the flood waters foamed in the midst of the sea.
The enemy boasted, “I will pursue and overtake them;
    I will divide the spoils and have my fill of them;
    I will draw my sword; my hand will despoil them!”

10 When you blew with your breath, the sea covered them;
    like lead they sank in the mighty waters.
11 Who is like you among the gods, O Lord?
    Who is like you, magnificent among the holy ones?
Awe-inspiring in deeds of renown, worker of wonders,
12     when you stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them!

13
In your love you led the people you redeemed;

    in your strength you guided them to your holy dwelling.

14 The peoples heard and quaked;
    anguish gripped the dwellers in Philistia.

15 Then were the chieftains of Edom dismayed,
    the nobles of Moab seized by trembling;
All the inhabitants of Canaan melted away;
16     terror and dread fell upon them.

By the might of your arm they became silent like stone,
    while your people, Lord, passed over,
    while the people whom you created passed over.

17 You brought them in, you planted them
    on the mountain that is your own—
The place you made the base of your throne, Lord,
    the sanctuary, Lord, your hands established.
18 May the Lord reign forever and ever!

19 When Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen entered the sea, the Lord made the waters of the sea flow back upon them, though the Israelites walked on dry land through the midst of the sea.

20 Then the prophet Miriam, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine in her hand, while all the women went out after her with tambourines, dancing; 21 and she responded to them:

Sing to the Lord, for he is gloriously triumphant;
    horse and chariot he has cast into the sea.
