A Mother's Day Prayer (5.12.19)

Father GOD,

On this special day, set aside to honor mothers, I'm asking that each and every mother, on this day, receives a special blessing from You, Lord. 

 

A special touch, Lord, that will strengthen and encourage each and every mother on this earth. 

 

Father, let not the work of her hands be forgotten in Your Sight. Let the example she sets, be a guiding force in the lives of her children. May wisdom and love be passed down to the next generation because of her. 

 

And for some Lord, not every woman who has given birth to a child, has been a mother to her children. Please forgive her and bless her, bestowing grace and mercy on her.  For we all, in one way or another, have fallen short of Your Glory. 

 

You made the sun to shine on the just and the unjust. Father GOD you love all of us! And I pray all broken relationships between mother and child are mended and healed on this day, and forever. 

 

Father you truly made mothers to be special and I pray, on this day, and for forever, that they are blessed and given the wisdom and strength to love and nourish their children regardless of the age. 

 

I pray Lord, this day, that children will love, respect and honor their mothers forever.
