#ReflectingOnHisWord - LOVE (6.30.20)

The word "LOVE" is mentioned over 650 times in the Bible (Source: NIV)

In this day & age that we live in, in these times we have a choice as to how we address people different from us.  How we interact with those we may not agree with.  How we approach people that we may have an issue with.  We need - we must show - more love, more love, more love.

Jesus commands Love.
The Holy Spirit demands Love.
And God, at The Father's Core, epitomizes Love.

Today & in the days to come, we will reflect on single words that are mentioned multiple times in God's Word.  We invite you reflect on the word, meditate on the word & for that day, week or month - to exude that Word.  Breathe it, let it comfort you and keep it on your tongue, in your mind and let it permeate your heart, soul and mind.

We also invite you to go to your own Bible, read the selected scriptures for yourself.  Look up other scriptures that may not be mentioned here.  Delve into Our Father's Word and let His Word - His Messages of Love - engulf, carry, sustain and lift you.

Below are just a few of the Bible verses that mention Love.  Out of all the Books in the NIV Bible only 2 Kings, Obadiah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Haggai and Acts of the Apostles do NOT mention the Word Love - and the Book of Psalms has the most mentions of Love - 157 times.

Lastly, always remember - God Is Love.

1 Corinthians 13
1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Genesis 4:1 - Adam made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man.”

Genesis 4:17 - Cain made love to his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch.

Genesis 4:25 - Adam made love to his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, “God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.”

Genesis 20:13  -  And when God had me wander from my father’s household, I said to her, ‘This is how you can show your love to me: Everywhere we go, say of me, “He is my brother.”’”

Genesis 22:2  -  Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

Genesis 24:67 - Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.

Genesis 25:28 - Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Genesis 29:17 - Leah had weak eyes, but Rachel had a lovely figure and was beautiful.

Genesis 29:18 - Jacob was in love with Rachel and said, “I’ll work for you seven years in return for your younger daughter Rachel.”

Genesis 29:20 - So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her.

Genesis 29:21 - Then Jacob said to Laban, “Give me my wife. My time is completed, and I want to make love to her.”

Genesis 29:23 - But when evening came, he took his daughter Leah and brought her to Jacob, and Jacob made love to her.

Genesis 29:30 - Jacob made love to Rachel also, and his love for Rachel was greater than his love for Leah. And he worked for Laban another seven years.

Genesis 29:31 - When the Lord saw that Leah was not loved, he enabled her to conceive, but Rachel remained childless.

Genesis 29:32 - Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben, for she said, “It is because the Lord has seen my misery. Surely my husband will love me now.”

Genesis 29:33 - She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, “Because the Lord heard that I am not loved, he gave me this one too.” So she named him Simeon.

Genesis 34:3 - His heart was drawn to Dinah daughter of Jacob; he loved the young woman and spoke tenderly to her.

Genesis 37:3 - Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his other sons, because he had been born to him in his old age; and he made an ornate robe for him.

Genesis 37:4 - When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him.

Genesis 38:2 - There Judah met the daughter of a Canaanite man named Shua. He married her and made love to her;

Genesis 44:20 - And we answered, ‘We have an aged father, and there is a young son born to him in his old age. His brother is dead, and he is the only one of his mother’s sons left, and his father loves him.’

Exodus 15:13 - In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.

Exodus 20:6 - but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Exodus 21:5 - “But if the servant declares, ‘I love my master and my wife and children and do not want to go free,’

Exodus 34:6 - And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,

Difficult Situations (6.29.20)

My Child,
Do not think that I Am not aware of your situation.
You are always before Me.
Not a single one of your tears escapes Me.
I Love you.

Therefore, I say to you, dry your tears, wash your face, and put on My Garments of Praise.

These Garments are meant to be worn at all times, not just when things are good in your life. When you become a person of worship and continuous praise, you’ll see My Glory come forth, in the midst of every difficult situation. Just as I Caused the sun to stand still for Joshua, I Am bringing stillness to the storm raging around those who praise and worship Me continuously.

Keep your mind fixed on Me, so that you will know when I Am moving, and you will be able to go forth in My Power. In this world, you will encounter a season of tribulations; but that does not mean that it will also be a season of defeat.

Stop expecting the worse, each time something happens. Instead, be prepared for Me to show up on your behalf and give you Victory.

Stand and use My Name; and you will see your enemy fall before your face. You will see My Glory and My Victory surrounding you.  And your difficult situation, will become a thing of the past.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Psalm 56:8 - Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Psalm 121:1-2 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Isaiah 61:3 - To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Hebrews 4:16 - Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Faith Believers,
I pray the peace of Jesus
will flood your soul and
destroy any fears holding you back;
so that the vision He has given you
will come to pass.

Speak God's Word & Prophesy Over Your Situation (6.28.20)

My Child,
Some of you have become weary because you've been stuck in a situation for what seems like such a long time. The predicament that some of you are in did not come overnight, and it may not leave overnight. Some have asked others to pray, and that’s a good thing; but are you praying about your situation?  It is time for those of you to start prophesying 'Words of Life" over your situation.

Speak My Words, and bind the words of the enemy.

Loose yourself from everything that’s not blessing you.  Prophesy over all of it, right now, and change the atmosphere around you.

Words of Victory need to come from your mouth, and enter your own ears. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by My Word, the Word of GOD.

Speak My Words over your life.
Prophesy over those dry situations.
Speak new life into your circumstances.

Rise above the turmoil of your thoughts and emotions; and SPEAK My Word, the Word of GOD. It is time, right now, that you move up to new levels in your faith.  Speak, prophesy over the Word that I have given to you.   Keep My Word alive, keep it before you always.  SPEAK it ALOUD and watch every situation turn into a Victory.

Precious One, you need My Word in your Spirit.  Stand on what you know to be true, My Word.

Prophesy now.  Call those things that be not, as though they are. Speak My Word over your life.  My Word will never pass away and it will never return to Me void.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD:
Ezekiel 37:4-5 - Again He said to me, 'Prophesy over these bones and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.' Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life.'

Matthew 18:18 - Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD.

Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Romans 4:17 - (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Luke 21:33 - Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

#ScriptureReflection - Matthew 14:1-36 (6.27.20)

The Death of John the Baptist

14 When Herod Antipas, the ruler of Galilee, heard about Jesus, he said to his advisers, “This must be John the Baptist raised from the dead! That is why he can do such miracles.”
For Herod had arrested and imprisoned John as a favor to his wife Herodias (the former wife of Herod’s brother Philip). John had been telling Herod, “It is against God’s law for you to marry her.” Herod wanted to kill John, but he was afraid of a riot, because all the people believed John was a prophet.

But at a birthday party for Herod, Herodias’s daughter performed a dance that greatly pleased him, so he promised with a vow to give her anything she wanted. At her mother’s urging, the girl said, “I want the head of John the Baptist on a tray!” Then the king regretted what he had said; but because of the vow he had made in front of his guests, he issued the necessary orders. 10 So John was beheaded in the prison, 11 and his head was brought on a tray and given to the girl, who took it to her mother. 12 Later, John’s disciples came for his body and buried it. Then they went and told Jesus what had happened.

Jesus Feeds Five Thousand

13 As soon as Jesus heard the news, he left in a boat to a remote area to be alone. But the crowds heard where he was headed and followed on foot from many towns. 14 Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15 That evening the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away so they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves.”

16 But Jesus said, “That isn’t necessary—you feed them.”

17 “But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish!” they answered.

18 “Bring them here,” he said. 19 Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people. 20 They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers. 21 About 5,000 men were fed that day, in addition to all the women and children!

Jesus Walks on Water

22 Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and cross to the other side of the lake, while he sent the people home. 23 After sending them home, he went up into the hills by himself to pray. Night fell while he was there alone.

24 Meanwhile, the disciples were in trouble far away from land, for a strong wind had risen, and they were fighting heavy waves. 25 About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!”

27 But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!”

28 Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”

29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said.

So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.

31 Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”

32 When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped. 33 Then the disciples worshiped him. “You really are the Son of God!” they exclaimed.

34 After they had crossed the lake, they landed at Gennesaret. 35 When the people recognized Jesus, the news of his arrival spread quickly throughout the whole area, and soon people were bringing all their sick to be healed. 36 They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.

#JesusSays..... WAIT. (6.26.20)

Wait on Me, Beloved.

And I Will open doors.
And make a way.

There are things that you just cannot 'push through' at this moment.  Just because some things didn’t happen when you expected them to happen, does not mean that those very same things will never come to pass.  Some of you must learn to be patient, and wait for the right time, before moving ahead.

Let go of everything that may be trying to hold you back, and wait on Me, as you run this race with patience, persistence and perserverance. Trust Me that the right time will come.

I Am asking you to look past the natural, and look to Me, your Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ; for I Am the Author and Finisher of your faith. The Work that My Father & I Started in you, We Are sure to complete.

Look unto Me and stagger not at My Promises through unbelief, but be strong in faith. Timing is everything, so quietly carry out All Instructions, as the Holy Spirit leads you.  Call on My Name, and give My Father His due praise, this day; and surely you will have the Victory.

Wait on Me.
Do not force the issue.
Do not try to make something happen to please others.

Be patient.
I Am the only One for Whom you should be
     concerned about pleasing.
And a few of the key ways to please Me are: a) to have faith and b) let Patience do her work in your life.

Many of you have heard the old adage, "good things come to those who wait."  This is true for you at this time. I Have spoken it, My Father Has already Ordained it.  Shall I Not do it?  Has The Father Not willed it?  Yes, it shall come to pass.  Yes, it will be done.

Therefore, do not force anything to happen,
     but wait on Me.
Wait I Say....
Wait.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Numbers 23:19 - GOD is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

Psalm 27:13-14 - I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Romans 4:20 - He staggered not at the promise of GOD through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to GOD;

Romans 8:25 - But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

James 1:4 - But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Hebrews 12:1-2 - Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right of the throne of GOD.

#ScriptureReflection - Matthew 13:53-58 (6.25.20)

A Prophet Without Honor

53 When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there. 54 Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked.

55 “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? 56 Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?”

57 And they took offense at him.

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”
58 And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

#ScriptureReflection from Isaiah, Psalms, Acts & the Book of John (6.24.20)

Isaiah 49:1-6

Hear me, O coastlands,
listen, O distant peoples.

The LORD called me from birth,
from my mother’s womb he gave me my name.

He made of me a sharp-edged sword
and concealed me in the shadow of his arm.

He made me a polished arrow,
in his quiver he hid me.

You are my servant, he said to me,
Israel, through whom I show my glory.

Though I thought I had toiled in vain,
and for nothing, uselessly, spent my strength,
yet my reward is with the LORD,
my recompense is with my God.

For now the LORD has spoken
who formed me as his servant from the womb,
that Jacob may be brought back to him
and Israel gathered to him;
and I am made glorious in the sight of the LORD,
and my God is now my strength!

It is too little, he says, for you to be my servant,
to raise up the tribes of Jacob,
and restore the survivors of Israel;
I will make you a light to the nations,
that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.

Psalm 139:1b-3, 13-14ab, 14c-15

I praise you, for I am wonderfully made.
O LORD, you have probed me, you know me:
you know when I sit and when I stand;
you understand my thoughts from afar.
My journeys and my rest you scrutinize,
with all my ways you are familiar.

Truly you have formed my inmost being;
you knit me in my mother’s womb.
I give you thanks that I am fearfully, wonderfully made;
wonderful are your works.

My soul also you knew full well;
nor was my frame unknown to you
When I was made in secret,
when I was fashioned in the depths of the earth.

Acts 13:22-26

In those days, Paul said:
“God raised up David as king;
of him God testified,
I have found David, son of Jesse, a man after my own heart;
he will carry out my every wish.

From this man’s descendants God, according to his promise,
has brought to Israel a savior, Jesus.

John heralded his coming by proclaiming a baptism of repentance
to all the people of Israel;
and as John was completing his course, he would say,
‘What do you suppose that I am? I am not he.

Behold, one is coming after me;
I am not worthy to unfasten the sandals of his feet.’
“My brothers, sons of the family of Abraham,
and those others among you who are God-fearing,
to us this word of salvation has been sent.”

Luke 1:76

You, child, will be called prophet of the Most High,
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way.

Luke 1:57-66, 80

When the time arrived for Elizabeth to have her child
she gave birth to a son.
Her neighbors and relatives heard
that the Lord had shown his great mercy toward her,
and they rejoiced with her.
When they came on the eighth day to circumcise the child,
they were going to call him Zechariah after his father,
but his mother said in reply,
“No. He will be called John.”

But they answered her,
“There is no one among your relatives who has this name.”
So they made signs, asking his father what he wished him to be called.
He asked for a tablet and wrote, “John is his name,”
and all were amazed.

Immediately his mouth was opened, his tongue freed,
and he spoke blessing God.

Then fear came upon all their neighbors,
and all these matters were discussed
throughout the hill country of Judea.

All who heard these things took them to heart, saying,
“What, then, will this child be?”
For surely the hand of the Lord was with him.

The child grew and became strong in spirit,
and he was in the desert until the day
of his manifestation to Israel.

God Is Bringing You Out of the Valley (6.23.20)

My Child,
So many, too many, of My People (My Children) are wandering around in the valley of decision, unsure of which way to go.  Some of you have been positioned at the fork in the road for too long.

I Am now moving upon you to change your position, to change your assignment, and to bring you out of that valley.

I Will never allow you to stay in a place of testing forever.  No, I WILL bring you through it.  That means I Will be right by your side, leading you through those rough places. I Promised never to leave you nor forsake you.  I Keep My Word.
I Know, at times, it may seem that some of you cannot sense My Presence; that some of you feel as thought I Am not there; and that some of you may be feeling like I Do not seem to care about the trials and tribulations that you, and others, go through.  But know this, I Have ALWAYS been right by your side, guiding you through your valley.

I Am going before you to make every
     crooked place straight.
I Am bringing you through the Red Seas
     in your life.
I Am moving you from where you think you
     want to be, to the place you need to be…
     to your destiny.

I Have Created & gone before you; My Son has gone before you; My Holy Spirit is currently walking with you - and We Have prepared the way.  However, I Need you to walk in the path that I Have Ordained.  That I Have Anointed. I Need you to take hold of My Word, and come out of your valley of captivity, as I Cover you in the Precious Blood of My Son, Jesus.

Press in and persevere - until you have complete Victory.

DO NOT STOP until you have COMPLETE VICTORY!!

My Son Has already paid the price, on the Cross, for your breakthrough.  So, pick up your Cross and follow Me; and do not fear the battle. Do not run from the battle.  Do not avoid the battle.  Run toward the battle.  Embrace the battle.  For the battle is not yours, it is Mine.  And this battle is already won.

It is time for My Children to STAND UP and take their rightful place in My Kingdom, both here in Heaven and on Earth.

Only then, will there be complete breakthrough
     and victory in your life.
Only then, will you live a victorious life.
Only then, will you walk in My Holy Spirit,
     as I Prepare you to do Signs and Wonders,
     (more mighty than My Son) in My Name.

Trust Me, My Child, I Am bringing you out of the valley.

Prepare.

Get Ready.
Be Ready.
Stay Ready.

For this is My Time.
And the time is...
NOW!!

#ScriptureReflection - Hebrews 6 (6.22.20)

Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so.

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation. 10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

The Certainty of God’s Promise

13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, 14 saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” 15 And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.

16 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Be Weary No More (6.21.20)

Faith Believers,
The following #word may not apply to everyone. However, I know there are some who have been feeling unsettled for quite a while.  Crying out to GOD.

Some - perhaps many of you - are weary, exhausted, and don’t know if you can go on much longer.  Everything has been swirling around you, and some of you feel  like, if GOD doesn't do something soon, it may not be possible for you to continue. Yet deep inside, you know that you cannot give up, because GOD promised to never leave you nor forsake you.
What you need is A Word from the Lord. I pray that this Word will bring healing and deliverance to those of you with a weary soul.

You will see victory in many of the areas where you have been crying out to Me.  Because I Am with you, always with you, and not against you. I Will answer long-standing prayers, things that you have been asking for - and I Have been working on.  I Have been doing a great work in your family, and I will bring about the peace that you have been seeking Me for, in your relationships.

I Have been listening, Child.
And I Have been busy, at work.
And soon you will see the fruits of Our Labor.

Right now, right this very minute, I Am continuing to plant, water and nurture Seeds of Love and Unforgiveness in your heart and the hearts of others. I Am watering this Seed with My Love.  I Am bringing you forth, as one out of the darkness, into a great light. You have already been, and will continue to, come forth surrounded by My Peace and clothed in My Righteousness.

Right now, I Am going to bring you into a season of peace and rest.

I Am going to bring stability into your life.
You will be established in My Peace.

Be ye weary no more.
It is well.
Be weary no more.

F A I T H (6.19.20)

My Child,
Do not delay any longer, My Child.

My Child.
My Child.

Do not let anything hinder you from moving forward in your walk with Me.

Don’t you think it is time (and for some, well overdue) that you stop talking about having faith and start walking by faith?

Please stop allowing your faith to lie dormant.  What good is it for you to have faith, and not use it?  Do not postpone another moment, wondering whether I Will do what I Have promised.

Be strong and of good courage, as you face challenges of this world. I Said in My Word that your walk with me would not be easy, and when you are tested beyond anything you can imagine you must have faith in Me and My Word.

Step out in obedience and I Will move on your behalf, and bless you.

Remember, in those moments when your faith in Me may begin to waver, come to Me - in prayer - and I Will give you My Peace, My Direction, My Wisdom and Great Rest. There is nothing this world can do to you, without coming through Me First.

Yes, I Allow certain things to happen in the lives of those that love Me; but through it all, I Will never take My Hands off of you. Never.  Ever.  And for My Children that are called, you know this, because My Word says so - over and over again; but too many of you have forgotten or are not paying attention to the stories and lessons in My Word.   You must go through a refining period.  Every one of My Chosen and Called Children have gone through a refining period.  So that I Can mold you into a beautiful, powerful, Holy Vessel to be used for the Glory of My Kingdom.

Trust and believe that I Love you.
And I Will never leave you.
I Will dispatch My Angels to surround you.
And keep you.

From all harm.
Always.
My Child.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Judges 18:9 - And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are ye still? be not slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land.

Romans 12:11 - Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

Hebrews 6:12 - That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to GOD must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

James 2:18  - Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2:26 - For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Take Up the Whole Armor of God......... (6.18.20)

Photo courtesy of www.FlandersFamily.info

Ephesians 6:10-18  (NLT)
The Whole Armor of God

10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

The Helmet of Salvation
  • Acts 4:12 (ESV)  ~~  12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:6-8  ~~  So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded. Night is the time when people sleep and drinkers get drunk. But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.
  • Isaiah 59:17  ~~    He put on righteousness as his body armor; and placed the helmet of salvation on his head.  He clothed himself with a robe of vengeance; and wrapped himself in a cloak of divine passion.

The Breastplate of Righteousness
  • 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB)  ~~ 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
  • Job 29:14  ~~  Everything I did was honest. Righteousness covered me like a robe, and I wore justice like a turban.
  • Psalm 85:13  ~~  Righteousness goes as a herald before him, preparing the way for his steps.
  • Isaiah 59:17  ~~    He put on righteousness as his body armor; and placed the helmet of salvation on his head.  He clothed himself with a robe of vengeance; and wrapped himself in a cloak of divine passion.

The Shield of Faith
  • Hebrews 1:11 (ESV)  ~~ 11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
  • Ephesians 6:16  ~~  In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
Loins Girded in Truth (Belt of Truth)
  • Proverb 23:23 (NIV)  ~~ 23 Buy the truth and do not sell it— wisdom, instruction and insight as well.
  • Isaiah 11:5  ~~  He will wear righteousness like a belt and truth like an undergarment.
        The Sword of the Spirit
        • Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)  ~~   For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

        Feet Shod with the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace
        • Romans 10:15 (KJV)  ~~   (And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written,) How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
        • Isaiah 52:7  ~~  How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
        • Nahum 1:15  ~~  Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, Judah, and fulfill your vows. No more will the wicked invade you; they will be completely destroyed.
        • Luke 1:79  ~~  to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.

        Your Walk, Your Ministry & Your Road are Unique..... You are Special. You are Called. (6.17.20)

        A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO
        STRENGTHEN AND COMFORT YOU
        AS YOU WALK WITH THE LORD

        My Child,
        Your walk in the Spiritual Realm is different from everyone else.

        Your ministry, and what I Have Called you to do, are unique.

        I Made you; and every moment of your life was planned,
             even before you took your first breath.

        However, there is one small thing that will separate you, and make you different from others.  It is the Anointing that I Have placed on your life. My Anointing on your life has been, and will make, a difference in everything you do.

        The Road that I've Called you to walk on is special and unique to Me.  I Chose you to walk this road for the purposes, glory and increase of My Kingdom.

        I Do not want you to 'fit in'
             with the crowd.
        You are not like them.

        I've Called you to be a Peculiar Spirit, just as My Word said. There will be times that you will be mistreated, talked about and rejected; because of My Holy Spirit, which I Have placed within you.

        Some will even go as far as to attempt to practice 'curious arts,' in an attempt to change the course I Have placed you on.  Nothing they do - or attempt to do - will work, because I Have covered you in the Blood of My Son, Jesus Christ!

        So, My Child, do not think you are a failure.
        And do not think you are wasting your time.

        I Placed you where you are.

        I Know when you sit down.
        And I Know when you stand up.

        I Am charting this path for you, and I Will show you how to walk in it.  Know that you are special to Me, and I Desire to conform you to My Image. The journey you are on was designed and uniquely created just for you.

        Read and Meditate on God's Word
        Psalm 139 -
        O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
        You know my sitting down and my rising up;
        You understand my thought afar off.
        You comprehend my path and my lying down,
        And are acquainted with all my ways.
        For there is not a word on my tongue,
        But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
        You have hedged me behind and before,
        And laid Your hand upon me.
        Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
        It is high, I cannot attain it.
        Where can I go from Your Spirit?
        Or where can I flee from Your presence?
        If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
        If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
        If I take the wings of the morning,
        And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
        10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,
        And Your right hand shall hold me.
        11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,”
        Even the night shall be light about me;
        12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You,
        But the night shines as the day;
        The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

        13 For You formed my inward parts;
        You covered me in my mother’s womb.
        14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
        Marvelous are Your works,
        And that my soul knows very well.
        15 My frame was not hidden from You,
        When I was made in secret,
        And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
        16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
        And in Your book they all were written,
        The days fashioned for me,
        When as yet there were none of them.

        17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
        How great is the sum of them!
        18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
        When I awake, I am still with You.

        19 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God!
        Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.
        20 For they speak against You wickedly;
        Your enemies take Your name in vain.

        21 Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You?
        And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?
        22 I hate them with perfect hatred;
        I count them my enemies.

        23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
        Try me, and know my anxieties;
        24 And see if there is any wicked way in me,
        And lead me in the way everlasting.
        Isaiah 30:21 - And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

        Luke 4:18-19 - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

        Romans 8:28-30 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

        Faith Believers,
        There is nothing you will face today
        that GOD can't bring you through.
        So, let your faith be bigger than your fears.

        Just BREATHE....... (6.16.20)

        A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO
        STRENGTHEN AND COMFORT YOU
        AS YOU WALK WITH THE LORD

        Fellow Faith Believers,
        With all that is going on today,
        I want to remind you to stop.
        Remember Who Is in control and.......
        JUST BREATHE

        My Child,

        It is 3 am.
        You cannot sleep.
        You look to Me.
        And you ask, and wonder why?

        What’s going on?
        What’s the reason that I Am
             going through all this?

        I Say to you to, 'Breathe.  Stop.  And – JUST BREATHE...'

        I Realize that the enemy has fought many of you; and some of you feel like you're beginning to sink. Child, Child, My Beautiful Child - you know that he has no power.  But still, it affects you.  I Say to you to 'breathe - Just Breathe.....'

        You are with Me.
        You are with Me.
        You are with Me.  And there is NO WAY that any of his tactics will stop you.

        You will go on.
        You will push through.
        And you will be successful.

        And when the enemy thinks he has you, at that very moment, at that very second - I Shall show up, on the scene; and the enemy shall be caught in a whirlwind of confusion.  The very thing the enemy thought would take you down, shall take him out.  And raise you up.  I Say to you My Child, to 'breathe - JUST Breathe!'

        I Have called you to be a leader.
        I Have called you to be a leader.
        I Have called you to be a leader.  And you are in, with Me, all the way.  The word 'failure' must never be in your Spirit.  Because you don’t have time to quit and nothing is a failure.  A lesson, yes.  A failure, no.

        All you have to do is stand strong on My Word, Child, hold on and 'breathe - JUST Breathe!!'

        I Say to you to breathe,  JUST Breathe!!

        Breathe, JUST Breathe......

        Read and Meditate on God's Word
        Proverbs 3:24-26 - When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

        Isaiah 59:19 - So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

        Matthew 11:28-30  - Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

        John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

        1 Peter 5:7 - Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

        Once We Pour OUT, We Make Room For God to Pour IN - Forgiveness.... (6.15.20)

        Faith Believers,
        Envision your heart like a pitcher.....

        Praying about the people we need to forgive is the means by which we tip that pitcher Heavenward, and slowly begin to pour our negative feelings and frustrations out to GOD.

        As we pour out, a wonderful thing happens, we make room for GOD to pour in. Our omniscient God knows that a heart heals when a heart changes.

        Until we make room for fresh content that changes our hearts, we will never be healed from the injury and subsequent feelings of unforgiveness.

        It is important to pray “for” those whom we need to forgive. Most of us are already aware that we need to do this; however, we often stubbornly hang onto our “right” not to. If we are to be like Christ, we relinquish our “rights” and take on humility, being obedient to the Lord.  As Jesus says in Mark 11:25 - And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

        If unforgiveness has been a hindrance to your prayer life in the past, remember that satan will continue to attack you in this area, again and again – until your victory is firmly established in the strength of Christ Jesus.

          -  Marilyn
        If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes - 2 Corinthians 2:7-11

        ~ Prayer ~
        Father,
        Help me.  For sometimes it just feels good to be angry with someone who has hurt me.

        There are times when I feel justified about my pain, and too often, I struggle to let go of my negative feelings towards whoever has caused that pain and those feelings.

        Please remind me that I MUST die to self, and all those things that my 'self' wants, in the flesh, so that I can live as Your Son, Jesus Christ - who took on the nature of a servant.

        Help me to be slow to anger and quick to forgive, as You Are, so that satan will not outwit me!

        Keep my heart aware of the enemy's attempts to cause me to fall into the trap that is the sin of unforgiveness.

        I pray this prayer in Jesus' Name,

        Amen
