You are More than a Conqueror Through God; and with God, Nothing is Impossible (1.31.17)

Beloved,
Refuse to allow the little things to get you down.
Just when you think you have it all figured out, another opportunity to deal with (and overcome) frustration comes your way.

Stay calm and face each new challenge with patience, a willing heart and faith in Me; for you will certainly need My Guidance and Wisdom.  Use these new opportunities to abide in My Strength, and to allow Me to do what you cannot do.

When you hit a temporary dead end - and that’s all it is, a temporary dead end - look up and wait for My Direction.  Do not give up, for My Grace is more than sufficient to see you through this challenge, just like before.

Do not allow the challenge to overwhelm you;
just remember who you are in Me.
You are more than a conqueror through Me,
and with Me, nothing is impossible.

Face this new challenge in faith, and let Me show you the new thing that I want to do in your life.

Take a step of faith and I will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Pray and seek My face, and I will lead you through this challenge, just like before.

Then you will look back and know that regardless the challenges that are coming against you; having faith in Me, and knowing that My Grace will be more than sufficient every time, is what will get you through every time.

Read and Meditate on His Word
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 -  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Romans 8:37 - Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Luke 18:27 - And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with GOD.

Mark 11:22 - And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in GOD.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most
gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Trust that God is Creating & Moving in Your Life, Even When You Cannot See It (1.30.17)

My Child,
I hear you say in your heart, "Nothing is happening; I don't see the doors opening.  I don't sense the excitement of change during  this time in my life."  However, know this, just as surely as the sun rises and sets; so is My Hand upon you, as I
work in your life.

Each day you see the rising and the setting of the sun, but you do not see the things I Am doing to cause this to happen.  However, you know that it happens.  The same way you trust to see the sun each day, and the moon at night, trust that I Am creating and moving in your life even though you can’t see it.

Now is not the time to doubt My provision or My promises to you.
It's time to keep your faith alive.
It's time to keep your faith active and be a vessel yielded to Me.

I Am most creative in you, when you stop striving, and give yourself to Me completely.  I Am still at work in you -  so stand firm.  It's time for the blessings I have promised you, to come forth.  Yes, My Child, I Am going to richly bless you; even though you cannot see how I Am preparing these blessings.

Have faith and believe!

Remember, each morning My Mercy is new for you;
therefore, seek Me early, commune with Me,
and I will bring you into new and marvelous places
of opportunity for My Kingdom purposes.
Now, I want you to be encouraged this day and do not let go of your vision.

For even though you don’t see it, I Am still at work in your life.

Read and Meditate on His Word
Lamentations 3:22 -23 - It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Mark 1:35 - Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

1 Corinthians 2:9 - But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD hath prepared for them that love him.

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Do Not Stop Believing in God...... (1.29.17)

So Jacob was left alone and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob's hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, Let me go, for it is daybreak. But Jacob replied; I will not let you go unless you bless me - Genesis 32:24-26  NIV

My Child,
Don’t stop believing in Me and spending time with Me, when you know that I Am always standing near. I don’t want you to allow circumstances to cause you to lose heart when you need Me. My Promises should always be in your heart and upon your lips.

You must not allow the enemy to make you believe
that I don’t care, and I won’t deliver.
Keep your eyes on what I have promised you.
Do not stop praying, and do not stop believing.

Do not let the circumstances of this world stop you from praising and worshiping Me.  Do as Jacob did, and stay right there, do not turn loose until you receive your blessing.

Write the vision that I have given
you; and make it plain.
Now, start declaring and decreeing it in faith daily.
Bring it into My presence.
Hold onto your dream,
and do not let go of My promises.

I Am not a forgetful GOD, however, I want you to talk to Me daily in prayer about My Word.

I love to hear My children remind Me of what My Word says.

It lets Me know how much the love Me.

Mark 11:24 - Therefore, I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

That blessing has your name all over it!
Do not let the enemy steal your vision!
Stand on My Word and be blessed.

Expect it! Believe it!
I Am with you.
Fight the good fight.

Hold on.

The Courage & Strength to Continue...... (1.27.17)

We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. - Hebrews 3:14

Faith Believers,
Just 175 meters from the finish line, searing pain shot down the marathoners right leg. He fell in agony to the ground, his Olympic dream was over he thought. To everyone’s amazement, he struggled to his feet, determined to finish the race. On one leg, he began to hop forward.

Suddenly, a man jumped from the stands. Pushing past the security guards, he ran to the runner and put his arm around the injured athlete. They crossed the finish line together. 65,000 fans stood and roared approval. Such courage!

Who was the man who helped him across the finish line? It was his father. Today’s Scripture encourages us to hold on to confidence in Christ. Along the course of our race there are many obstacles, not the least is what Hebrews calls “the sin that clings so closely” (Hebrews 12:1).

It takes two things to continue. The first is courage. We may stumble, fall, suffer hurt and setback, but then we must get up again. If we can’t run, we can hop. Can’t hop? We crawl. Can’t crawl? GOD carries us.

The second thing we need is strength and that comes from GOD. “The spirit of Jesus Christ helps me,” says the Apostle Paul (Philippians 1:19). GOD is not distant. He is an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We may limp in pain part of the way, but with His help we can continue. We will arrive home at last. The cloud of witnesses roars (Hebrews 12:1).

Father,
The courage I need is more than
the courage I have.
Put your arm around me today.
Help me to continue.
Amen.

Are you injured? Fallen? Limping? In pain?
It’s time to have courage. Draw on GOD’s help.

Ask someone to pray for you as you
get back up and lean on GOD.

Be Faithful Where You Are (1.26.17)

My Child,
I know where you are.
I Am the One who placed you in this chosen position.

I have not left you powerless.
I have given you the anointing and the abilities needed
to be victorious in your position right now.

Therefore, be faithful where you are and be faithful in what I have given you to do.

It does not matter what others may think you should be doing.
You are doing what I have called you to do.

I have given you My Grace to do things which no one else can do.
Therefore, do not waste the Precious Grace I have given to you, by glorifying the desires of others. Just be faithful where you are, stand strong, and never despise a small beginning.

My Child, if you continue in the way that I Am directing you,
you will see your mustard seed faith come into full bloom.

Walk in obedience to My Will,
and watch the frustrations you feel, fade away.
And as you walk according to My Will,
I will show you how everything you are
going through will work out for your good.

Now, until I lead you out,
stand strong and be My Faithful Vessel
where you are.

Read and Meditate on His Word
Job 8:7 - Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

Luke 16:10 - He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much:

Matthew 25:21 - His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

1 Corinthians 7:20 - Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most
gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Joy Begins with God, Seek Him First, Abide in Him, Abide in His Word (1.25.17)

My Child,
Joy begins with Me, My child, it begins in My presence.

When you abide in Me and let My Word abide in you, every need you have will be fulfilled. It is only when you look for other things, such as people to fulfill your needs, that loneliness and sadness enters your life. When you find yourself saying, there is something missing, and a hunger for something deeper takes over you - know that I Am the One you are looking for.  I Am the joy that is missing in your life.

Yes, I Am the One that you are looking for.
I Am the One that you need to have in your life always.

If you spent your time delighting yourself in Me, those desires in your heart would line up with My Word and overtake you; because you sought Me first. You see, when you seek Me first, you will also be able to enjoy other pleasures that I have given you in this life, but it won't happen until I Am First. As I said, Joy begins with Me, it begins in My Presence, and no one else will be able to fulfill the emptiness you are feeling in your life.

Looking for other things, or anyone else, to meet the needs of your heart is a waste of your time. Come to Me, talk to Me, open up to Me, share your fears and concerns with Me.

Come, and let Me be a part of your life every day.

Allow Me to be ever-present in your life, and when darkness tries to overtake you, the Holy Spirit will be the Light that will show you the path to take.

You see, light and darkness are both alike to Me;
and if you walk with Me, you shall walk in the light.

Oh come, and abide with Me this day, and My Light will fill your day with joy and My presence.

Come and abide with Me this day, for I Am what you've been searching for, I Am what you need.

Come, for there is no limit to what My joy will do in your life.

Read and Meditate on His Word
Psalm 139:12 - Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

John 15:7 - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 15:11 - These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 17:13 - And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

Strengthening Your Prayer Life & Your Walk with God (1.24.17)

Faith Believers,
Pursue GOD courageously and passionately, knowing that He is your protector and provider. He has promised to never leave you or forsake you. Do the following to help strengthen your walk with GOD.

Set aside 30 minutes to pursue GOD courageously in prayer everyday.
As you pray walk through these helpful steps:
  • Speak Psalms 139:24-25. Make it your prayer to GOD. Paraphrase David’s plea in your own words to personalize it.
  • Listen to the Spirit. After a few minutes of silence, write down one or two things you feel God wants to change in your heart and pray over this list.
  • Reflect on your relationships. Have you been impatient with anyone lately? Have there been any heated moments in your home? GOD often uses our conflicts with others as a mirror to reveal our hearts. If something comes to mind, write it down.
  • Invite GOD to cleanse you. Surrender your heart. Open yourself up fully to the hands of your trustworthy surgeon. Pray through your list and speak Psalms 139:23-24 again to affirm your trust.
  • Lean on the cross. Reaffirm your faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection and His complete forgiveness of your sins. Thank Him for saving you and sending His Spirit to live in you. Ask Him to help you depend on His power.

"It Takes Courage to...." but When We Walk By Faith.... (1.23.17)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race GOD has set before us. - Hebrews 12:1 (NLT)

Faith Believers,

  • It takes courage to face the truth about yourself — your fears, doubts, and insecurities.
  • It takes courage to admit you are wrong when you have hurt someone.
  • It takes courage to stand up for righteousness in the midst of what is popular and accepted.
  • It takes courage not to defend yourself when you know you are innocent.
  • It takes courage to love those that despitefully use and abuse you.
  • It takes courage to forgive others so that you can be forgiven.
  • It takes courage to believe in a GOD you can’t see.
  • It takes courage to trust that GOD is in total control when everything around you is in total chaos.

  • When we walk by faith, we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. They walked the same walk before us. Many of them did not get to see the promises of GOD fulfilled on this side of Heaven. They died still believing that what GOD promised would be theirs.

These men and women of GOD faced major challenges because of what they believed, but they still believed. Their lives were shared with us in the Scriptures to encourage, and inspire us, not to quit in tough times. Let us therefore strip off every weight, and every sin, that so easily distracts us.

Let us lay down our will
    and become heroes of faith
for those that will follow us.
      -  Marilyn

    ~ Prayer ~
    Father,
We desire to do Your Will,
in the midst of the tough situations
    that we face daily.

We want so much to live a life
    that is pleasing to you.

We desire to follow the example of so many
others that have gone before us.

Their faith walk showed us how courageous
they were as they stood for what they believed.

May we walk in that same courage
as we continue in our journey before You.

    In Jesus name,
    Amen.

Is there a specific fear or doubt that has been worrying you recently?
Bring it to Jesus and pray for His courage to fill your heart today.

    The "One Thing List" (1.22.17)

    Faith Believers,
Choose AT LEAST ONE THING TO DO FOR JESUS from the list below and see how much better your day will be today.

      -  Marilyn

    ONE THING LIST
Joshua 23:14 - And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not ONE THING hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your GOD spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not ONE THING hath failed thereof.

TRUST HIM, STEP OUT IN FAITH TODAY
AND KNOW THAT HE WON’T FAIL YOU

Psalm 27:4 - ONE THING have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
SEEK HIS KINGDOM THIS DAY AND
WATCH HIM GIVE YOU PEACE IN YOUR TEMPLE

Luke 10:41-42 - And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:  But ONE THING is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
BREAK OPEN YOUR ALABASTER BOX AND
GIVE JESUS YOUR MOST PRECIOUS GIFT….
    YOU

Luke 18:22 - Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou ONE THING: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

SHARE WITH THOSE WHO ARE LESS FORTUNATE,
    AND WATCH TREASURES FROM HEAVEN
    FALL UPON YOU

John 9:24-25Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give GOD the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: ONE THING I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

ASK THE LORD TO REMOVE THE BLINDERS FROM YOUR EYES,
SO YOU CAN SEE EVERY WAY THE ENEMY IS TEMPTING,
    HINDERING, LYING AND DISTORTING
    THE TRUTH IN YOUR LIFE.

2 Peter 3:8 - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this ONE THING, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.---

    TODAY IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE;

CHERISH IT AS THOUGH IT WERE YOUR LAST.

And now for my ONE THING
    :
Philippians 3:13 - Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this ONE THING I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of GOD in Christ Jesus.

YESTERDAY IS GONE, YOU CAN’T CHANGE IT,
FORGET IT AND ALL YOUR PAST MISTAKES.
    FOR god HAS.
NOW REMEMBER, THE VISION god GAVE YOU AND REACH FOR IT,

KEEP IT IN FRONT OF YOU, AND AS YOU SEEK HIS FACE,
PRESS YOUR WAY UNTIL IT COMES TO PASS.

Love the Lord GOD will all of your heart,
lean not on your own understanding
and He will direct your path.

Psalm 139:16. God has a Plan for Your Life. Will You Follow It? (1.21.17)

You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. - Psalm 139:16

    Faith Believers,
GOD has a plan for your life.
He brought you into this world to fulfill that plan.

It is the best plan that anyone could ever have.
It is a plan that will bring Him the greatest glory,
        and you the greatest blessing.

From the beginning of this year until its end,
GOD is working out His plan.

And as you follow GOD's plan for your life, you do so by faith.
It is important to remember that He is the Guide and you are His follower. He does not need to bring you into His planning room as a consultant to help Him decide what is best for your life.  He needs you to be obedient and to trust Him.  GOD is asking you to trust in Him completely and to take the next step of obedience according to His Will.

Hear what the Lord has to say:
    My Child,
My plans for you are good and I know why I created you.
I know what I have destined you for,
and I Am walking with you to empower you
to move in the full measure of that destiny.

Are you still willing to walk there with Me?
All I require of you is a willing and obedient heart.

Do not worry about the mistakes you’ve made.
I will repair every area of your life that is tarnished.
It is never My intent to leave you in your difficulties or failures.
My plans are to fully restore you.

I created you in My Image to be a carrier of My Glory,
and I want to accomplish that in your life.
It is My Good Pleasure to bring a new level of
joy and peace into your life, as you turn to Me.

Now, trust Me to accomplish My Perfect Plan for your life.

So remember: GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE…. The question is: WILL YOU FOLLOW IT?
      -  Marilyn

Read and Meditate on His Word:
Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (NIV)

Isaiah 43:7 - Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Psalm 37:3 - Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Luke 12:32 - Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Do Not Waver In Unbelief (1.20.17)

    My Child,
Think not that you are alone.
Know that I Am with you,
and I Will accomplish through you,
    all that I have said.

    Nothing is impossible for Me.
I AM totally faithful and true.

Therefore, do not walk in the shadow of doubt.
Instead, walk in the truth of My Word and the truth of My Light.

Do not doubt in your heart, nor in your mind, the things I have spoken to you; have faith in Me. I have not brought you this far for you to walk away and quit so easily. My Soul has no pleasure when you give up before reaching your destiny.  If you want to please Me, then you must be strong and believe I have All Power.

Remember, it takes faith to please Me.

My Child, stand firm and do not turn to the left or to the right, but stand.
There is nothing that can stop My Hand concerning you.
Everything is set according to My Will, and it will be established.
Therefore, do nothing apart from My Counsel, or My Will.
I want you to take your eyes off the situation
and set them like a flint straight upon Me.

When you trust in Me, you cannot fail.
However, if you continue to walk in indecision
and by your own strength, you will be diverted.

For there are times you struggle with double-mindedness and fear. Stop now Beloved, speak My Word and rebuke those spirits in My Name. Never give place to anything that I haven't spoken to you or shown you. Instead, bring all things to Me in prayer and release them.

Now, stop worrying and learn to trust in Me. Gather your thoughts and know the Victory is yours. Walk according to My Word and you will see the walls created by wavering faith fall before you. It is My Will for you to receive your blessings.  Therefore, do not waver in faith,
believe in My Word, and it shall be done, according to your faith.

Read and Meditate on His Word
Matthew 9:29 - Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

Matthew 17:20 - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)

Hebrews 10:38 - Now the just shall live by faith: but if any
    man
draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to GOD must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
