#Steeped in...... FIRST CORINTHIANS #FirstCorinthiansSeason #ComesToAnEnd #AdarII (3.31.22)

Word of God for Today Family,
I thought the journey through Proverbs was deep!!  This journey through First Corinthians has been a truly labor of love.  Delays, roadblocks, re-routing, adjusting, pausing, hitting play, move forward, moving back, figuring out a different way.  All the while, knowing that this delayed posting would be no surprise to God - nor the days that followed.

Sisters & Brothers - we serve a MIGHTY GOD!  We must not forget that.  Ever.  And in the days to come, we will increase our team so that we can maximize our impact and keep our posts consistent (daily) and hopefully, prayerfully - we can also, during this time - encourage you to post, comment and engage with us a whole lot more - here on the blog and on social media.

Thank you for journeying with us through First Corinthians.  But, as it was with the Book of Proverbs -  we would NOT trade it for the world.  So enriching.  So fulfilling.  So uplifting.  So life-affirming.  So good.  So very very necessary.....

We started, deliberately & intentionally, back on January 9th when we posted   #SteepedAndSpendingTime in FIRST CORINTHIANS....  #itIsFirstCorinthiansSeason #Shevat (1.9.22).  Making the decision to delve deep and delve diligently into First Corinthians.

This journey has been "the very best."  Thank you for taking it with us and we cannot wait for the Holy Spirit's guidance as to what book to delve into next.  For your joy, soul/spirit/mind nourishment and your own reflection and refraction - all of the posts that have gone up during this #firstCorinthiansSeason are listed below.  Refer back to it time to time, and we even encourage you to do your own reflection - pick a book of the Bible and dedicate to reading it a bit at a time, until you have read the entire Book.  For there are many things that we can do that pleases GOD, but spending time in His Word is one of the very best things we can do.

#ScriptureReflection - Numbers 21:4-9 (3.30.22)

 The Bronze Snake

Then the people of Israel set out from Mount Hor, taking the road to the Red Sea to go around the land of Edom. But the people grew impatient with the long journey, and they began to speak against God and Moses. “Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die here in the wilderness?” they complained. “There is nothing to eat here and nothing to drink. And we hate this horrible manna!”

So the Lord sent poisonous snakes among the people, and many were bitten and died. Then the people came to Moses and cried out, “We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the Lord told him, “Make a replica of a poisonous snake and attach it to a pole. All who are bitten will live if they simply look at it!” So Moses made a snake out of bronze and attached it to a pole. Then anyone who was bitten by a snake could look at the bronze snake and be healed!

#ScriptureReflection - Nahum 2:5-10 (3.29.22)

  Nineveh summons her picked troops,
    yet they stumble on their way.
They dash to the city wall;
    the protective shield is put in place.
The river gates are thrown open
    and the palace collapses.
It is decreed that Nineveh
    be exiled and carried away.
Her female slaves moan like doves
    and beat on their breasts.
Nineveh is like a pool
    whose water is draining away.
“Stop! Stop!” they cry,
    but no one turns back.
Plunder the silver!
    Plunder the gold!
The supply is endless,
    the wealth from all its treasures!
10  She is pillaged, plundered, stripped!
    Hearts melt, knees give way,
    bodies tremble, every face grows pale.

Let Everything That Has Breath, Praise the Lord (3.28.22)

Faith Family,
Many times, many of us do not recognize our blessings because they do not happen how we expect them to happen. Sometimes, too many of us are frustrated or disappointed; and this often clouds our ability to be grateful and appreciate the blessings of GOD. We must come to the point, in our walk with the Lord, that we realize that GOD is the one who sees the total picture.

We must stop seeing our delays as denials.
We must stop feeling as if we are alone and forsaken.

GOD Is a Loving Father who does not neglect His Children. GOD's ways are not our ways and GOD's thoughts are not our thoughts. We often try to figure out solutions to our situations, according to what we see. Nevertheless, when we trust GOD, He may cause things to go in a different direction to avoid a disaster we cannot see.

We must trust GOD no matter what and
     stop trying to take things into our own
     hands, before we discern His Will.

We should always "live a life of praise and thanksgiving" to the Lord. GOD no longer desires lip praises; He Wants heart praises. David said, let everyone that has breath praise the Lord. Yes, you are hurting, but praise GOD anyway. No, you do not see the money for the rent or the mortgage, but praise GOD anyway. So, what, you got a negative report from the doctor, but praise GOD anyway. I know the boss is being very unfair, and it seems like the person with poor performance is getting a promotion, but praise God anyway. We may not understand it, but GOD is working things out for our good.

So, praise His Holy Name.

We must come to a point, in our walk with the Lord, where we understand and believe, that what GOD has for us - no man can take from us!  And that when GOD opens a door for us, no man can shut it! We all have our 'seasons,' and the Bible tells us that what each of us goes through, is common to man. There is nothing unique about our trials. Your fire might not be my fire, but fire is fire.  And all fire burns. So remember, the Grace of GOD is more than sufficient to see us through.

Why should we thank GOD when it may seem like things are just getting worse? We should thank GOD for holding back the fire; and for making a way of escape. We should thank GOD for being our deliverer. We should thank GOD for being our refuge and our strength.  We should thank GOD for being our very present help in time of trouble.

Regardless of what it looks like, we should thank GOD and know that He IS GOD.  And that He IS still in control.

He Knows about the situation.
He Hears your cries.
He Sees your pain.

He Is a Mighty GOD, Who has promised not to give you more than you can bear.

He Is always with you even, when it seems like you are all alone.

Today, I encourage you to rise up and bless the Lord.

Give GOD Thanks and give Him praise.
GOD has been good to you.
If it had not been for the Lord....

Who was on your side?  Where would you be? It is because of the mercies of GOD that you are not consumed. GOD Is a loving GOD. He loves you.  He cares about you. Give GOD thanks and praise today.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
1 Chronicles 23:30 - And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even;

Psalm 34:1 - I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Psalm 115:18 - But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD.

Psalm 150:6 - Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Psalm 124:2-6 - If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Isaiah 55:8-9 - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Lamentations 3:22 - It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but GOD is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 Peter 4:12-13 - Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

#ScriptureReflection - Nahum 2:1-4 (3.27.22)

Nineveh to Fall

An attacker advances against you, Nineveh.
    Guard the fortress,
    watch the road,
    brace yourselves,
    marshal all your strength!

The Lord will restore the splendor of Jacob
    like the splendor of Israel,
though destroyers have laid them waste
    and have ruined their vines.

The shields of the soldiers are red;
    the warriors are clad in scarlet.
The metal on the chariots flashes
    on the day they are made ready;
    the spears of juniper are brandished.
The chariots storm through the streets,
    rushing back and forth through the squares.
They look like flaming torches;
    they dart about like lightning.

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 16:13-24 (3.26.22)

 Exhortation and Greetings.

13  Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. 14  Your every act should be done with love.

15  I urge you, brothers—you know that the household of Stephanas is the firstfruits of Achaia and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the holy ones— 16  be subordinate to such people and to everyone who works and toils with them. 17  I rejoice in the arrival of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because they made up for your absence, 18  for they refreshed my spirit as well as yours. So give recognition to such people.

19  The churches of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca together with the church at their house send you many greetings in the Lord. 20  All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

21  I, Paul, write you this greeting in my own hand. 22  If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed.

Marana tha.

23  The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. 24  My love to all of you in Christ Jesus.

Be Still, and Watch What God Will Do (3.25.22)

My Child,
Oh, be still and watch Me Position you into a place - a high place, an amazing place, a beautiful place - to laugh at the enemies who have been blocking your path.  This joy will help you to recognize that what you perceived as "mistakes" have been washed in My Son's Blood, and you are forgiven. This release of joy will come, as you become still in your spirit, before Me.

When you do this, you will receive the help you need to get you through your storms. My Joy will give you the strength to overcome the enemies you have been battling.

I Know that some of you may not recognize this tactic, but stillness can be one of the greatest warfare weapons to defeat your enemies. Stillness occurs when you become One with Me. When you are aligned with Me (the Father), My Son, and My Holy Spirit; no weapon formed against you will ever prosper.

I Want you to become One with Me; because, for many of you, your emotions right now are unsettling. I Want to calm your emotions, so that your mind will think of Heavenly things. Allow Me to minister to you, and heal your emotions; so that you won’t miss any of your blessings. My Child, if your emotions aren’t healed, you might "strike the rock," instead of "speaking to it."

Quiet your soul.
Set aside some time to talk with Me each day.
And allow Me to still your heart and your spirit.

Do not allow any thoughts of failure and/or defeat, keep you in a constant season of conflict.  Rise above all of this, My Child.  Seek My Face in the stillness of the day. Seek Me and watch what seemed invincible, fall before you.

Be quiet, be still, and watch Me Move.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Job 37:14 - Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of GOD.

Psalm 46:10-11 - Be still, and know that I am GOD: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the GOD of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Psalm 62:1-2 - Truly my soul waiteth upon GOD: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Isaiah 30:15 - For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

John 15:11 - These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 11:23-34 (3.24.22)

Tradition of the Institution.

23  For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, 24  and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25  In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26  For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.

27  Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. 28  A person should examine himself, and so eat the bread and drink the cup. 29  For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30  That is why many among you are ill and infirm, and a considerable number are dying. 31  If we discerned ourselves, we would not be under judgment; 32  but since we are judged by [the] Lord, we are being disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.

33  Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 34  If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that your meetings may not result in judgment. The other matters I shall set in order when I come.

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 11:17-22 (3.23.22)

 B. The Lord’s Supper

An Abuse at Corinth.

17  In giving this instruction, I do not praise the fact that your meetings are doing more harm than good. 18  First of all, I hear that when you meet as a church there are divisions among you, and to a degree I believe it; 19  there have to be factions among you in order that [also] those who are approved among you may become known. 20  When you meet in one place, then, it is not to eat the Lord’s supper, 21  for in eating, each one goes ahead with his own supper, and one goes hungry while another gets drunk. 22  Do you not have houses in which you can eat and drink? Or do you show contempt for the church of God and make those who have nothing feel ashamed? What can I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this matter I do not praise you.

Fill Your Heart With God's Love (3.22.22)

Everyone,
The Lord has commanded us to love one another the same way He Loves us. Because we are humans, sometimes it is hard to let go of extreme hurt and pain; but we must come to the Lord and abide under the shadows of His Wings - and He will give us rest. People do, and say, things to hurt others because they are hurting and need deliverance. Pray for their deliverance; and when necessary, love them from a distance, until the Lord moves in their life.

 ~ Marilyn

My Child,
When you are lonely, why do some of you turn to so many other things; in the hope that those other things will fulfill your needs?  Perhaps, for a time, they do. However, just as suddenly as those things came into your life, they leave. Then you find that the loneliness is still there.  Then you realize that the loneliness never left.  It was just hidden for a season. Why won't you come to Me? Why not allow Me to fill you with My Love, so that you are 'full to overflowing' with My Love, and you won’t ever be lonely again.

My Precious, don’t you know that when you cry, I Cry too? Please let Me help you. Take My Hand and let Me Lead you to the place where you can clearly see your way. What do you have to lose by taking My Hand? The only thing you will lose is loneliness and frustration. Do not fret.  I Will not force you to accept what I Have to offer. I Give freely, and I Want you to accept it the same way.

I just want you to remember that when the night is dark, and your way seems lost; you don’t have to do this alone. I Am right there at your side. Even if you don’t call My Name, your tears will tell Me what I need to know. Whenever you decide to let go, I will be ready to catch you.  My Arms will hold you, and My Love will surround you.

I won’t let you fall.

I Am always there waiting to hold you; waiting to love you; and waiting to fill your lonely heart with everything you need.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Psalm 118:8 - It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Proverbs 8:21 - That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Jeremiah 31:3 - The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

John 15:9 - As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Romans 5:8 - But GOD commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 11:1-16 (3.21.22)

Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

IV. Problems in Liturgical Assemblies

I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold fast to the traditions, just as I handed them on to you.

A. Women’s Headdresses

Man and Woman.
But I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and a husband the head of his wife, and God the head of Christ. Any man who prays or prophesies with his head covered brings shame upon his head. But any woman who prays or prophesies with her head unveiled brings shame upon her head, for it is one and the same thing as if she had had her head shaved. For if a woman does not have her head veiled, she may as well have her hair cut off. But if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should wear a veil.

A man, on the other hand, should not cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; nor was man created for woman, but woman for man; 10  for this reason a woman should have a sign of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11  Woman is not independent of man or man of woman in the Lord. 12  For just as woman came from man, so man is born of woman; but all things are from God.

13  Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head unveiled? 14  Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears his hair long it is a disgrace to him, 15  whereas if a woman has long hair it is her glory, because long hair has been given [her] for a covering? 16  But if anyone is inclined to be argumentative, we do not have such a custom, nor do the churches of God.

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled (3.20.22)

My Child,
For some of you, your hearts are so very heavy over some recent things that have happened. Some of you were hoping that things would have gone a different way, but they didn’t.  And now some of you are wondering what to do. My Children, let not your hearts be troubled.

In this life, disappointments will happen.
However, they are only temporary.

Remember this, there are times that I Will allow a door (or doors) to close, to direct you in a new direction. And there are times that I Will allow tests to come, to reveal what is in your heart, what is in the hearts of others, to see whether you will discern what is My Will, to see if you truly do honor and love Me (or only say that you do); and if you will be obedient through the hard times.

You may think or feel like you are disappointed now, but go deeper, look deeper, grow & look again.  There is no disappointment when you walk with me.  Increase your awareness.  Look at the situation again, but this time, with your spiritual eyes.  Exercise your discernment, spiritual awareness muscles.  And move in Joy.  My Son died on the Cross for your salvation, for your Victory.  So look for that, for it exists, if you chose to see it and not wallow in "disappointment."  For if you look to Me, trust Me, praise Me and remain faithful, I Will point you to the new windows and doors - the unbounding abundance - that I Have Prepared for you, and now opened for you, in your life.

I Know that some of you need time to grieve over what happened. I Understand; I often weep too. However, as your Father, you must learn from Me, Child.  Note that I do not allow My grief, anger or disappointment to consume Me; it never consumed My Son, Jesus Christ; and neither should it consume you. Learn from Our Examples.  Release the pain that you are feeling - let it go, and release it to Me.  Fully hand it over.  Because there is much work to be done. Much, much work to be done.  I love you. So, pray.  Then Praise Me.  Praise My Son.  Praise the Holy Spirit.  And then release everything to Me. Let every bit of the pain go.  It will not serve you.  It will hinder you.  Even now I Am dispatching My Angels, so that they will intercede for you. Selah.  Selah.  Selah.

Let go.
And you will feel My Peace come over you.

Allow My Holy Spirit to minister healing to you.

Yes, all is well.
Take some time to praise Me.

I know that some of you may not feel like it, but those of My Children that have consistently walked with Me, know that it will help you, in many ways, including to release the pain.

You have My Word.
It won’t always be this way.

Trust Me.
Lift your head up.
And watch Me turn your sorrow into joy.

Believe in Me.
And let not your heart be troubled.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Deuteronomy 8:2 - Remember how the LORD your GOD led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.

John 14:1 - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in GOD, believe also in me.

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 16:20 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

Romans 8:18-19 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of GOD.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

#ScriptureReflection - Psalms 84:1-5 (3.19.22)

Prayer of a Pilgrim to Jerusalem

For the leader; “upon the gittith.” A psalm of the Korahites.

I

How lovely your dwelling,
    O Lord of hosts!
My soul yearns and pines
    for the courts of the Lord.
My heart and flesh cry out
    for the living God.
As the sparrow finds a home
    and the swallow a nest to settle her young,
My home is by your altars,
    Lord of hosts, my king and my God!
Blessed are those who dwell in your house!
    They never cease to praise you.
              Selah

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 16:1-12 (3.18.22)

 VI. Conclusion

Chapter 16

The Collection.
Now in regard to the collection for the holy ones, you also should do as I ordered the churches of Galatia. On the first day of the week each of you should set aside and save whatever he can afford, so that collections will not be going on when I come. And when I arrive, I shall send those whom you have approved with letters of recommendation to take your gracious gift to Jerusalem. If it seems fitting that I should go also, they will go with me.

Paul’s Travel Plans.
I shall come to you after I pass through Macedonia (for I am going to pass through Macedonia), and perhaps I shall stay or even spend the winter with you, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go. For I do not wish to see you now just in passing, but I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits. I shall stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, because a door has opened for me wide and productive for work, but there are many opponents.

10  If Timothy comes, see that he is without fear in your company, for he is doing the work of the Lord just as I am. 11  Therefore, no one should disdain him. Rather, send him on his way in peace that he may come to me, for I am expecting him with the brothers. 12  Now in regard to our brother Apollos, I urged him strongly to go to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his will that he go now. He will go when he has an opportunity.

A Repost of 'In Due Season..... on 5.13.21' (3.17.22)

Good Morning Faith Family,
This was sent out some time ago but I am sending it out again because I believe that all of us need continuous encouragement.

We must trust in GOD's timing regardless of  circumstances happening all around us.
We must remember that satan and his people have no power over us; and they certainly cannot stop GOD's plan for our life.

Trust and believe, knowing that GOD IS going to do exactly what He Promised you; but in His timing.

No one or nothing is equal to GOD Our Father, or His Son, Jesus Christ. All power was given and release when Jesus died for our sins on the Cross and when He rose on the third day.  Always remember that GOD's Plans for you cannot be altered nor hindered by the enemy.

Keep the faith in our Lord Jehovah.

Thank God for what you have,
Trust God for what you need.
 ~ Marilyn

My Child,
I Know that some of you are experiencing hardships and trials that you’ve never encountered before.

You MUST hold on and have faith in My Word.

Remember Who I AM.
I Am Jehovah Jireh.
Your Provider.
And I Will NOT fail you.

Trust Me to see you through this.
Trust in The One Who delivered you
     from the hands of the enemy, time
     and time again.

Although some of you cannot yet, see a clear way out of the 'adverse circumstances' you face, I Can. I Know your ending from the beginning.  And I Say, if you trust in Me, and do not doubt; you will be victorious. Yes, I Know that for some of you, it is hard; however what you are going through is temporary, and it cannot compare to the blessings - My Blessings - that are waiting for you.

My Child, you are going to come out of this.

Know this.
Believe it.
Receive it.
Dwell in this truth - My Truth.

Understand this Children, just because some of you don’t see the answers to your prayers with your natural eyes; that does not mean that I haven’t answered them.  Many of you already know this; but some of you are uncertain, struggling with unbelief or conflicted in your heart.

To ALL My Children - those with fervent belief; those with wavering, lukewarm belief and those with absolutely no belief - to ALL of My Precious, Beautiful Children, do not stop storming My Gates of Heaven with effectual fervent prayers. Pray and pray and pray and pray.  And then pray, take action, pray, seek and speak to Me, pray, listen, discern, pray, read My Word, listen, pray, pay attention and pray - until you receive your breakthrough, in My Holy Spirit.

Then SHOUT OUT with praises of thanksgiving that IT IS DONE.

Do it even though you may not see it.

Do it even though you may not feel it.
Do it when others tell you it's impossible.
Do it when you & others question and/or
     do not trust Me.

Do it afraid.
Do it while reading & immersing in My Word.
Do it unsure.
Do it afraid.
Do it by faith.

Beloved, your prayers are not falling on empty ears.  Your prayers NEVER fall on empty ears.

I Hear you.
I Hear every word you say.

And I Say to you, believe that it is done

My Word is true.
Trust in My Word.
Trust in My Goodness.
Trust in My Grace.
And believe, beyond any and all doubt, that
     you already have what you have prayed for.
That I have already brought it to completion.
That it is already on the way.

Dry your tearful eyes, My Beautiful, Precious, Brilliant Child.
And believe in Me again.

Do not allow the enemy to cause you to turn away from Me.
Do not let him win.

I Promise that I Will come through.
I Will NEVER fail or disappoint you.

Nothing is impossible for Me.
I Will deliver.
I Will.
I Will.

And it will be - I Will be -
     right on time.

Leviticus 26:3-4 - If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 10:23-33 (3.16.22)

Seek the Good of Others.

23  “Everything is lawful,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is lawful,” but not everything builds up. 24  No one should seek his own advantage, but that of his neighbor.

25  Eat anything sold in the market, without raising questions on grounds of conscience, 26  for “the earth and its fullness are the Lord’s.” 27  If an unbeliever invites you and you want to go, eat whatever is placed before you, without raising questions on grounds of conscience. 28  But if someone says to you, “This was offered in sacrifice,” do not eat it on account of the one who called attention to it and on account of conscience; 29  I mean not your own conscience, but the other’s. For why should my freedom be determined by someone else’s conscience? 30  If I partake thankfully, why am I reviled for that over which I give thanks?

31  So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. 32  Avoid giving offense, whether to Jews or Greeks or the church of God, 33  just as I try to please everyone in every way, not seeking my own benefit but that of the many, that they may be saved.

Release What Does Not Bless You.... (3.15.22)

My Child,
Do not hold on to the ashes of yesterday,
     they will spoil your tomorrow.
Release the hurt and disappointments,
    because they cannot bless you.

Holding on to pain will cause bitterness to take root in your spirit. There were some lessons you had to learn from the past; but do not bring that hurt and that pain into your future. Nothing has happened to you that I Am not aware of; and that I cannot heal. Not even one sparrow falls to the ground without My Approval.

Please release what no longer blesses your life.
Release and forgive what has happened.
And lay hold to a brighter future.

Seek Me for directions. Talk to Me.  I Am listening.  And then, listen to Me.  Yes, listen. Be still before Me, so that you can hear what My Holy Spirit is saying to you. I Know what it takes to bring you into the place I’ve Prepared for you. Although you may not see it or even feel it, I Am always working on your behalf.  Watching and intervening in ways (and often at times) that you cannot, or do not, even realize.

Right now, turning the ashes of your past into a beautiful future.

I Am pouring My Anointing, My Oil of Gladness, over your spirit right now, right now, RIGHT NOW - to heal, restore, and build you up.  I Love on you mightily, My Child.

And My Love will lift you up to heights, levels and into seasons never before seen.

Therefore, you do not need to bring anything that is not blessing you, into your future; for I’ve Provided and made A Way for every thing for The Vision that lies ahead.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Isaiah 61:3 - To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Philippians 3:13-14 - My brothers, I do not count myself to have taken possession, but one thing I do, forgetting the things behind and reaching forward to the things before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of GOD in Christ Jesus.

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 10:14-22 (3.14.22)

Warning Against Idolatry.

14  Therefore, my beloved, avoid idolatry. 15  I am speaking as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I am saying. 16  The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? 17  Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.

18  Look at Israel according to the flesh; are not those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar? 19  So what am I saying? That meat sacrificed to idols is anything? Or that an idol is anything? 20  No, I mean that what they sacrifice, [they sacrifice] to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to become participants with demons. 21  You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and also the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons. 22  Or are we provoking the Lord to jealous anger? Are we stronger than he?

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 (3.13.22)

Warning Against Overconfidence.

I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea, and all of them were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. All ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank from a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was the Christ. Yet God was not pleased with most of them, for they were struck down in the desert.

These things happened as examples for us, so that we might not desire evil things, as they did. And do not become idolaters, as some of them did, as it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to revel.” Let us not indulge in immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell within a single day. Let us not test Christ as some of them did, and suffered death by serpents. 10  Do not grumble as some of them did, and suffered death by the destroyer. 11  These things happened to them as an example, and they have been written down as a warning to us, upon whom the end of the ages has come. 12  Therefore, whoever thinks he is standing secure should take care not to fall. 13  No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it.

Keep Your Eyes on God, and TRUST (3.12.22)

My Child,
Keep your eyes FIXED on Me.

Do not look at the circumstances surrounding your situation(s); instead, look to Me, The Author and Finisher of your story. Do not judge your situation as if you are losing the battle; and do not judge your situation(s) by your feelings. Because right now, some of you are feeling as if you won’t overcome. However, I Created you to be more than a conqueror, through Me. Things are not always what they appear to be. Remember, you must walk by faith, not by sight.

I Know that it may not seem like it right now; but all things are working together for your good, and they are working because you belong to Me.  I’ve Ordered your steps, Child; and I Will not allow your steps to slide.

Be at peace.
Do not allow what you see,
      to worry you.
Be anxious for nothing.
In all things ask of Me.
I Will reply graciously.

However, remember that all things are done according to My Timing.  Have faith, persevere, and you will see the answers to your prayers.

My Child, refrain from murmuring and complaining - and start counting your Blessings. Do not allow the enemy to rob you of your joy by focusing on the "negative."

Count your blessings and be grateful.

I Am your Loving Father, and I Will supply all your needs. Look to Me, and not to your own strength, to endure; for I Am stretching you and preparing you.  Keep My Word in your heart, and stay before Me in prayer, always.

Do not let the enemy, or your feelings, or others, or yourself, convince you that you aren’t overcoming.  Do not look at the circumstances; because things are not what they appear to be. Remember Who I Am....  and let Me be in control. I Keep My Promises.  For all My Promises are 'Yes & Amen.'  And I Will always cause you to triumph over the enemy.

Now, look to Me.
Be obedient to My Word.
And Blessings will come to pass.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:37 - Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

2 Corinthians 5:7 - (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Psalm 119:133 - Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

Psalm 18:36 - Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

Philippians 4:19 - But my GOD shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Deuteronomy 28:2 - And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy GOD.

2 Corinthians 2:14 - Now thanks be unto GOD, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 15:50-58* (3.11.22)

The Resurrection Event.

50  This I declare, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51  Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed, 52  in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53  For that which is corruptible must clothe itself with incorruptibility, and that which is mortal must clothe itself with immortality. 54  And when this which is corruptible clothes itself with incorruptibility and this which is mortal clothes itself with immortality, then the word that is written shall come about:

“Death is swallowed up in victory.
55  Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”

56  The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57  But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58  Therefore, my beloved brothers, be firm, steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Reflecting on Mark 1:35 by Karen Woodward (3.10.22)

Good Morning All,
This was written by Karen Woodard. I often experience what Karen has so beautifully expressed in this passage, so I wanted to share.

~ Marilyn Chaney

~~~~~~~
This has long been one of my favorite pictures of Jesus, getting up early and embracing solitude. I too also love solitude, though getting up early has been more challenging for me!
In this passage, the word “solitary” means deserted. No distractions. Peaceful and quiet. Dark.
It was a long while before daylight. Had it been a short night’s sleep for Jesus? What was on His Mind? Some have suggested that He had an important day of ministry before Him, so He wanted time to clear His Head before starting a busy day. Or did He have concerns from the day before that had awakened Him?
Perhaps He had left the house where He and His Disciples were staying. Being outdoors in GOD’s Creation was a great place to worship in prayer, to commune with and to lift requests to His Father.
What do you do when you wake up during the night? (Last night, I woke up at 1:45 am, tried to go back to sleep, was able to sleep till 2:45 am, but then got up.) I have found it good to use these early morning wakeful sessions to search my mind and soul to see what is keeping me from sleep, to pray for family members who are struggling, to talk to GOD and let Him know that I do really need Him to get through the coming day’s challenges, and just give Him all my worries.
~ Let Us Pray ~
Father GOD,
Please meet me today in a solitary places and take my burdens from me.
Give me Your Love, Your Grace and Your Power to replace the things that I worry about.
Thank You Father GOD, for sending and giving us Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Please help me to remember that You Lord are in control of all things.
Amen
~~~~~

Throughout This Day: Try to find solitude in your day, even though it may be hard. Be open to getting up early, before the break of dawn, and even walking outside in the wee morning hours, into GOD’s Creation, to escape all distractions. GOD will meet you there!

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Corinthians 15:35-49 (3.9.22)

 C. The Manner of the Resurrection

35  But someone may say, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come back?”

The Resurrection Body.
36  You fool! What you sow is not brought to life unless it dies. 37  And what you sow is not the body that is to be but a bare kernel of wheat, perhaps, or of some other kind; 38  but God gives it a body as he chooses, and to each of the seeds its own body. 39  Not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for human beings, another kind of flesh for animals, another kind of flesh for birds, and another for fish. 40  There are both heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the brightness of the heavenly is one kind and that of the earthly another. 41  The brightness of the sun is one kind, the brightness of the moon another, and the brightness of the stars another. For star differs from star in brightness.

42  So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown corruptible; it is raised incorruptible. 43  It is sown dishonorable; it is raised glorious. It is sown weak; it is raised powerful. 44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual one.

45  So, too, it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living being,” the last Adam a life-giving spirit. 46  But the spiritual was not first; rather the natural and then the spiritual. 47  The first man was from the earth, earthly; the second man, from heaven. 48  As was the earthly one, so also are the earthly, and as is the heavenly one, so also are the heavenly. 49  Just as we have borne the image of the earthly one, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly one.
