1 Thessalonians 5:18 (1.31.14)

Give thanks in all circumstances - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)

Paul wrote in Thessalonians, "Give thanks in all circumstances," - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
We read that verse and think it rather nice. So we slap a sloppy coat of 'thanks'giving on life and go about our day. In reality, a lot of us are not very thankful at all.

Notice the Bible doesn't command us to "feel thankful" in all circumstances.
Instead it commands us to "give thanks in all circumstances." When I begin to praise GOD in a difficult situation, even if I don't feel like it, many times the scales fall from my eyes and I begin to see glimpses of His glory sprinkled on the black backdrop of the situation.
Like diamonds on black velvet.

Sometimes I don't see glory in tragedy, but I still praise GOD because I know He is there.

Thanksgiving changes our perspective despite broken dreams, broken relationships and tumultuous circumstances. As you praise GOD for who He is, and thank Him for what He's done in your life, your perspective of will Him grow larger and your problems will grow smaller. As a result, you will experience a deeper sense of intimacy with GOD as the emotional gap between what you know to be true, and how you feel at the moment, closes.

On many occasions in the Psalms, David complained about his circumstances - see Psalms 42, 57, 62.
But more often than not, about midway through David's laments, he begins praising GOD for who He is and thanking GOD for what He's done. And you know what happened? All of a sudden David starts feeling better! Life isn't so bad after all! His problems appeared smaller as his love for GOD grew larger, and he begins to see GOD's glory shining through his situation.

Why is that? In the writing of one Psalm, David shifted from depression to rejoicing.
He didn't wait until GOD changed his situation, solved his problem or made him feel better before he began thanking and praising Him. When we stop complaining and grumbling, and begin speaking GOD's love language of gratitude and praise, our circumstances will change.

GOD want us to praise Him in all situations!

- Prayer -

Dear Lord,
I praise Your name.
I exalt Your name forever.

Even though I may not understand what is going on in my life,
I will trust you because I know every trial will conform me
into who you have destined me to become.

You are awesome GOD
and I love you for all that you have done
and is going to do in my life.

In Jesus Name I pray,
Amen

Entering a Beautiful Season of Recovery (1.30.14)

My Child,
You are entering a beautiful season of recovery.

A time when you will have opportunities to recover all that has been lost.
Be ever so strong and steady,
as you watch the amazing work that is being done in you,
around you and through you.

As this work is being done, please don’t dwell on the losses,
but have faith in what I am doing.

I am doing what you have asked Me for, a new beginning.

For, I tell you honestly, that what is done is done;
what is past is past.

You can do nothing to change what has been;
but you can make the most of the days ahead,
by allowing My Spirit to be your guide.

This new beginning is the completion of a deep work
of healing and restoration that was done inside of you.

The work that I’ve done will bring to an end
to all the trials and tribulations that you have endured.
The past will be only a memory and all the pain you endured will be gone.

So keep your faith and trust in Me to bring you through
with a sense of wholeness and conclusion.

Go forth in faith!

_______
Jeremiah 33:6 - Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Revelations 21:5 - And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Do Not Be Distracted from God's Purpose and Plans (1.29.14)

Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence . . . That the nations may tremble at Your presence! - Isaiah 64:1–2

It is so easy to get distracted from GOD
and get caught up in things of little value.

When we get distracted, the presence of GOD seems so far away.

Do you realize distractions create distance between us and GOD?
When you are experiencing a season of dryness,
listen to GOD’s instruction to Moses.
GOD told Moses to drive out the enemy.
What enemies are distracting you from the purpose and plan of GOD?

The devil attacks all of us. He comes as a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8) to scare, intimidate, and devour.
his goal is to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10).
He is crafty enough to know when he cannot touch us. Then, he tries to get us to compromise,
so he comes as an angel of false light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

This angel of false light lures us away, seduces us with good things, fun things; until we have left the place GOD has for us. Once away from GOD, we are susceptible to the devil’s attacks.

It is your responsibility and mine not to be lured away into the devil’s trap.
Be careful and cautious.
As we keep our focus on God.

Don't Let the Hard Times Control You, Trust and Turn to the Lord (1.28.14)

My Child,
There will be times you may not understand why I have allowed you
to experience certain things or you may wonder about the path
that I have chosen for you.
When you find yourself in those times, I ask you to simply
trust Me, turn to Me and know that what you are going through is both
for your good and for My glory.

At those times, when it feels unbearable to you,
come to Me and lean upon Me for strength.
For My desire for you is
joy and an abundant life,
but that does not mean that you will never face trials and hardships.

What it does mean is that I will be with you in each trial and hardship;
strengthening you and causing you to overcome and be victorious.

Just come to Me in the midst of your adversity.
Set down the burdens you have been carrying
and do not allow them to distract you from Me.

Come and I will show you the destiny and victory
that I have prepared for you.
I want to flood you with My peace as I work on your behalf.
I want to cause you to have more joy than you can imagine,
a joy that cannot be stolen from you,
no matter what circumstances come your way.

So yes, there will be hard times.  But you don’t have to allow the hard times to control you.
I have poured into you all that you need
to overcome every trial and hardship that comes your way.
All you have to do is just come to Me,
and give more of yourself to Me.

As you do that,
you will feel My glory shine upon your circumstances
and dispel the trial and hardship you’re facing.

-----
Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1 Peter 1:7 - These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

1 Peter 4:12-13 - Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Never Forget, God's Goodness and Mercy will See You Through (1.27.14)

My Child,
I know the season you’re in.

And although you may see little evidence that anything good is happening,
you must never forget My goodness and mercy.
Stop wasting precious time over what hasn’t happened.
Stop and forgive yourself for past mistakes,
for I know that I have; and move on with your life.

Start remembering all the good that has happened in your life
and what is yet to come.

Rise up and forget not My tender mercies.
Have I not always been there in your time of need?
How soon you forget My love when your way seems dark.

But in your darkest hour, don’t you know that I am with you?
Shining a light on the blessing you may have overlooked?
Yes, I am always there. Please reflect upon My mercy and goodness,
for they will lead you through this darkness and into a bright new day.

Always remember that My mercy overflows
and My love is unending towards you.

So have peace and know that this difficulty will not last forever.

Let your most holy faith rise up within you in this hour
and offer unto Me a sacrifice of praise.

Never stop praying and believing for the impossible to happen in your life.

Keep your hope in Me alive
and always have your spirit open to Me.

Constantly remembering My loving kindness and mercy towards you.
_____

Isaiah 63:7 - I will mention the loving kindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us,

Psalm 86:13 - For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

Hebrews 13:15 - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Lamentations 3:18-26 - And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD: Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will, I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

Praise Me & Look Forward for Your New Challenges will Reap New Blessings (1.25.14)

Beloved,
I set a new mountain before you today, says the Lord. Although it will come with new challenges, it will also come with new blessings. So as you experience pressures or change in your life, instead of becoming discouraged, praise Me!

Praise Me for the things that seem to be impossible,
because they are of Me to take you to higher grounds.
Climbing a mountain can be difficult
but the reward at the end is worth all of the effort.

So try to keep your eyes on the goal this day, my beloved.
Look forward to the good things that will happen in your life
because of your obedience to me.

My desire for you is to be a success in all you do.
I desire for you to succeed at work and in your relationships.
The only way you will become all I have destined for you to become,
is by trials and tribulations.

I will be standing right by your side through them all.
My still voice will speak to you and guide you in the way I wish for you to go.
I will bring new mountains in your life, but do not be afraid.
Remember I have promised to never leave you nor forsake you.

So rejoice, for I am answering your prayers
and helping you to climb new mountains in a miraculous way.
I am causing the things you need to change
and to manifest so we can address them together.

Do not rebel against the circumstances I am taking you through right now,
but praise me instead, because I am working it out for your good.
So praise me as you climb the mountain ahead
and very soon you will see everything coming together,
just as I told you it would.

I am the ultimate Master Planner, over all that I have created,
which is every living and breathing thing.
Your ways are not my ways so trust me always, regardless.
Nothing that I will ever do is a mistake.

I am ALPHA AND OMEGA, says the Lord,
the beginning and the end.
I am GOD all by myself and there is no other!

A Prayer of Praise and Thankfulness (1.24.14)

Father,
I confess that I do not know what I should do
at this moment about my circumstances,
but my eyes are upon You.
How thankful I am for the promise of Your Word, that when I grieve,
You give me a crown of beauty.  That even when I mourn, there is gladness found in You.
And when I am in despair or feel hopeless in my circumstances,
as I look to You, You will cloak me in a garment of praise.

My desire Father is to always praise You.
I confess that like Peter, I turned away from the face of Jesus
to focus on the fierceness of the storm around me.
Which caused me to sink into my circumstances,
therefore losing all ability to believe that You will fight my battles.

Why is my faith so small?
Why do I doubt?

Forgive me Father, and have mercy on me. Help me, I pray!
Destroy doubt in my life.
Even though the fig tree does not bud (my dreams do not come to fruition) and there are no grapes on the vines (my burdens seem endless); though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food (my financial resources are sadly lacking); though there are no sheep in the pen or cattle in the stalls (my worldly possessions are minimal at best); may I still be joyful and praise Your name for You are my GOD and my Savior.
I have Jesus!
You are my strength and you enable me
to rise above the circumstances of my life
and the cares of this world.

May I follow the example of King Jehoshaphat and the army of Israel
by singing and praising Your name.
I will leave the battles of my life in Your hands.

Even in the most overwhelming situations
may I choose to give thanks to You and rejoice in You;
knowing that Your love endures forever.
I choose this day to praise You,
regardless of what I see with my earthly eyes;
and I rejoice that my name is written in heaven
because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

Thank You that the victory will always be mine,
because I am your child.

In Jesus name I pray.
Amen.

Let It Go (1.23.14)

LET IT GO

No.  That’s not for you.  Let it go.
I know you think you really needed that thing,
but you must
Let it go.

It will hurt you if you don't let go of it,
I have something better for you if you will just let it go.
Oh I know it may feel right and things may seem
to be falling right into place,
But things aren’t always what they seem,
what you are feeling is not from Me.
You’re walking after the flesh and not in the Spirit.
Let it go.
My Child, I understand you have needs,
I understand what you are feeling,
I don’t want this to hurt you and it will
if you don’t let it go.
Don’t allow this thing to destroy
all that you have believed Me for.
Let it go.
I want you to release the pain of the past
and move ahead with Me.
You can’t bring the past with you
and you can’t hold onto it while walking with Me.
It has no place with Me because I am your future.

Forgive, you must forgive.
Forgive all that have hurt you.
You must turn from those things which are not of Me.
Remember not the former things,
neither consider the things of the past.
You can’t move forward with Me
while holding onto your past.
That which is not of Me will lead to death.
Let it go.
Didn’t I promise I would do a new thing in you?
It will come forth,
I will make a way in the wilderness for you,
if you will just,
Let it go.
Don’t look at what they are doing,
don’t look at what they have
They are not of Me, but you are.
Is it worth your walk with Me?
Is it worth the joy that I have given you?
Is it worth your salvation, which I died for?
It won’t open the doors of Heaven,
it will only hold you in bondage.
Let it go.
I am all that you need.
Haven’t I always been right on time?
Haven’t I always made a way out of no way?
Why should you doubt Me now?
Stop listening to what they are saying.
Why do you care about what they have to say?
I am greater than any circumstance
you will ever face.
Let it go, take your hands off of it and give it to Me.
Don’t look back, take My hand, and walk with Me.Let it go, beloved!
Let it go!

With Faith, We Can Hear God's Voice & Receive His Word (1.22.14)

Are you accustomed to hearing GOD speak to you?

GOD, our Heavenly Father, communicates.
He speaks.
He initiates conversation.

To be able to hear GOD is crucial for our spiritual lives for GOD speaks, and we are responsible for listening to Him. There are always four voices competing for our attention: the voice of GOD, the devil, others and our own. We must discern which voice is which.  By faith, we can hear GOD and distinguish His voice. By faith, we can receive GOD’s Word. By faith, the children of GOD are enabled to hear divine truth and convert that truth into action.

GOD speaks in several ways in this day and age.  He speaks primarily through the Bible.  The Holy Spirit speaks to us by impressing GOD’s Word and GOD’s will upon our hearts and minds.  GOD also speaks through Godly ministers and speakers, such as pastors, preachers, teachers and evangelists. GOD also speaks to each circumstance we face, if we would only be still and listen.

Regardless of the method, when GOD speaks, He expects a response from us.  He expects us to hear His voice, adjust our lives to Him and obey. GOD will speak clearly and compellingly, and we must obey His Word quickly. When GOD speaks to a person, that person has encountered Truth. Jesus tells us in John 14:6 that He is “the way, the truth and the life”.  Jesus Christ is truth. In any encounter with truth, we encounter GOD. And an encounter with GOD requires that we respond.

Heavenly Father,
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Give me a deep desire to be still and listen
as You reveal more of Yourself to me.

May I obediently respond when You call me to step into things
that I might be uncomfortable with,
but which will bring You great glory.

Help me to hear You speak through the Word,
through godly friends and mentors,
through my circumstances – good and bad
and even in the world You have created.

May I always listen to Your voice and yield in obedience
to whatever You have call me to do or to be.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Spending Time With God (1.20.14)

Thanks be to GOD who through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to GOD the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? —2 Corinthians 2:14-16

The love of Christ in the hearts of Christians is a subtle, invisible,
yet unmistakable aroma of the Spirit of GOD.
Others may notice it even before you speak to them.
They experience it in the acceptance and friendliness of your manner.

What’s the source of this fragrance?
It comes from spending time with GOD.
It’s the love that clings to you when you come from being in GOD’s presence,
through prayer and reflection on the Scriptures.

It’s the aroma of the Spirit described throughout 1st Corinthians Chapter 13
- a patient, kind, selfless nature that “always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres".

This loving Spirit within you comes from Jesus,
from spending time with him, resting in his love for you
and hearing his words of assurance and instructions in the Bible.
This is the aroma your neighbors and
the people you work with will notice about you.
It’s what will attract them to you, encourage them to trust you
and make them want to spend time with you.

Some people will not find the fragrance of GOD’s love appealing,
instead they will find it offensive.
That’s okay.  It doesn’t mean you are doing something wrong,
it just means they are fighting against GOD’s work in their lives.
Keep showing them GOD’s love.

When you wear a fragrance,
you have to get close enough to people to allow them to smell it.
What can you do to get closer to your neighbors
- close enough that they can sense the presence of Christ around and within you?
Find ways to spend time and get to know the people
GOD has placed around you and let them get to know you.

If you take time each day to bathe in the fragrance of GOD’s love,
that fragrance will be more compelling and inviting
on you than the most expensive perfume.

Loving Father,
I give You thanks for pouring out Your sweet fragrance upon me
as I love others with the love of Jesus.

Continually show me ways to reach into the lives
of neighbors and coworkers so that those who come to know me,
will also come to know how much You love and care for them.

Allow me to have conversations with people and show acts of kindness
and compassion that I would not ordinarily show.

Empower me by Your Spirit to see others as You see them
and to love as You love.

I pray that You are glorified and made known in the lives
of those that are lost and hurting.

Amen

I Just Want to Thank You Lord (1.19.14)

Father,
You are great and worthy of all my praise!
How awesome are the things You have done!

I am grateful and I bless Your holy name Lord, for I have seen You at work on my behalf, again and again.   I worship You, for only You could do these mighty things. You alone are GOD.

Thank You for Your provision. I remember when you gave me comfort while I was going through my trials. You assured me that everything was going to work out for my good, and it did.

Thank You Lord for Your protection and comfort. I remember the day you saved me.  I thank You for shining the light of Your presence into my darkness and not treating me as my sin deserves!

Thank you for everything GOD.  Teach me by Your Spirit to live with Your praise always on my lips. Forgive my ungratefulness, I pray, and change my complaining heart!

When I look back and remember how You have been with me and how Your hand has been on me, I am filled with gratitude and praise. But too easily I am captured again by the storms around me and I sometimes lose sight of You.  Sometimes my faith seems to disappear.

Yet, O Lord, You have been faithful.  Faithful to all Your promises.  Therefore, I will not fear, even if everything around me seems to give way and I seem to lose my footing in the midst of changing times. Regardless of the storms I face, my hope is in You Lord and Your unfailing love for me.

I ask, Father, that You write new songs of worship on my heart for You are worthy to be praised.

Give me an undivided heart that I may fear Your name and honor You. As I remember all that you have done in the past, increase my faith, Lord, and my trust in You for those things that loom before me today.

Help me in my weakness Father. Remove the shadows of doubt that still linger and have a stronghold on my life.  May all that I am, and all that I do, flow out of a heart of worship and adoration for You.

For You are glorious, and I put my hope in You alone.
Amen

Breathe New Life into All Things this Season. For In God is Where Your Strength Lies (1.18.14)

Dear Child of Mine,
I am issuing another invitation for you to press in and draw close to Me.

This is a time and a season where great supernatural forces are at work in the lives of every believer. So, I’m actively at work asking My children to draw closer to Me. However, you must remember the enemy is also actively at work to push you away. You have a choice to make; whose invitation are you going to accept?

The enemy of your soul is doing whatever he can to prevent you from spending time with Me. He’s attacking many things in your life - your health, your family and your finances to cause frustration, fear and depression to isolate you from Me.  he wants to wear you down so that you will give out and give up on what I’ve promised you. But, he knows that he cannot succeed in his strategy as long as you walk close to Me. That’s why he’s after you, and that’s why I am calling you to press in and draw near to Me. In Me is where your strength lies.

I want this to be a season of fresh intimacy in your life. I want to breathe new life into your situation. I want to strengthen you and make you unshakable.  But in order to do this you must draw near to Me. The more time you spend with Me, the more you will become like Me; and the more you will be able to see what I am doing, and do it with Me. I want to fine-tune your hearing, so that you can easily recognize even My faintest whisper. I want My desires to become your desires. I want to saturate you with My presence, but I can't do that if you don't press in and draw near to Me.

Seek Me, My Child, and you shall surely find Me.
I want to reveal more of Myself to you, for this is your season.
Now do not allow anything to distract you from spending time with Me.
A fresh season of intimacy awaits you.

---
Psalm 73:28 - But it is good for me to draw near to GOD: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

James 4:8 - Draw nigh to GOD, and he will draw nigh to you.

Joshua 24:15 - And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Put Away Childlike Things, Press In and Seek More of God (1.17.14)

My Child,
There will be times when you seek Me in the usual ways,
and I will no longer be found in some of the ways.

You may find things that used to work for you,
things that drew you to draw close to Me, have stopped working.

When this happens, don’t despair.  And don’t allow the voice of the enemy to speak condemnation to your spirit.  he will try to make you think that I am displeased with you and have abandoned you. You know that’s not true. What I am doing is inviting you to grow and mature in your relationship with Me.

Just as a child is weaned from milk and must learn to eat solid food, so must Your Heavenly Father allow you to grow through seasons of change. Our relationship will never change, however, they way in which we relate to each other will change, so that you can become more like Me. Some of the ways we met in the past, were never intended to be permanent ways for us to interact together. As you grow in Me, and as your ability to perceive in the spirit increases, I will reveal more of Myself to you. And that may require a change in how you relate to Me, even in how you seek Me.

As you grow, I will also require a higher level of dedication and obedience from you. I will point out the things that displeased Me when you thought as a child, and I will ask you refrain from them.

No, you didn’t realize they displeased Me, you were a child, how could you know?  But now you must let go of childlike things, and think in ways that are pleasing to Me. This will lead to a greater level of My anointing upon your life.

So again I say to you, do not fret when you cannot find Me as easily as before. It is just a sign that our relationship is growing and that you need to press in to seek more of Me.

Ask of Me, and I will lead you, teach you and show you how to find Me at the next level.

I will show you more of My glory and reveal more of Myself to you.

Now my child.  It is time to press into Me so we can grow in our relationship together.

James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of GOD, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

My Child, There Is Work Yet to Be Done (1.16.14)

My Child,
Yes, I closed that door.
It had become a place of bondage for you.
Trust that I am moving on your behalf
and soon you will see a new door opening.

I am leading you in a better way,
into a better place, which will bring you closer to Me.
The plans I have for you are good
and will accomplish all that I began in you.

Now, step away from the situation you were facing and look up here.
There is something I want to show you.
I will show you the right direction and I want you to see that it’s new,
filled with great possibilities, and that the way is completely unhindered.

Do not be surprised at the promotion which is coming soon.
Oh, but it won’t be in the way that you’re thinking.
Just know that I won’t disappoint you
and you will bring glory to My name.

So, My Child - will you trust My plans
and know that I have a future and a hope for you?
Will you trust that My plans are to bless you
and to fulfill your heart's desires?

Will you trust and believe in My Word
and know that it is 'Yes and Amen'?
Good.

Now rest in what I have spoken to you.
Be still and draw near to Me.

There is work yet to be done.

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

It Is Time That You Walk in Faith, Like David (1.15.14)

Beloveds,
Arise, My people and grab hold of My promises.
Rise up now in your spiritual authority,
because there is nothing in this world that will stand against you.

You are in this world, but not of this world.
I have called you out of the world to be of use,
to shine over darkness and to be light bearers.

Let the light of My word shine through you.
Use My authority and operate in My anointing and power.
Let My words flow out of your mouths.

It is time you walk in faith like David
and defeat the giants in your life.

David knew of this power when he stood to face Goliath.
David faced his giant in faith and in My power.
Today, take a look at the Goliaths' in your life and face them now.
Not with what you know, but with the power that I have given to you.
I have given you authority and power over every situation that is not of Me.

So speak to the mountains in My Name
and they shall be removed.

My Word, My authority and faith in Me are all that you will need
to change your circumstances and situations.

-----
Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Mark 11:23 - For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

John 15:19 - If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,

God Can Make All Things New, Including You (1.14.14)

Beloved,
Trust Me and refuse to fear,
for I am with you.

I will strengthen you and help you.
I am always near.

Do not allow your feelings to overwhelm you,
and stop worrying about what you call “wasted time”.
Even if you miss the mark a thousand times,
I am able to make all things new.

I specialize in new beginnings.
Every step you take I will use for My good.

I am more than able to make all things new, including you.
So will you rest in this assurance?
I am the Master of time.
Even now I am fulfilling My promises to you.
Must I remind you that you are on the brink of a breakthrough,
not a breakdown, but a breakthrough?

Always remember, the pains of birth give way to new life.
So continue to follow Me and you will see that
I will turn your situation around for your good
and that no weapon formed against you will prosper.

NOW BEHOLD, I WILL MAKE ALL THINGS NEW.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are called according to his purpose.

Revelations 21:5 - And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write for these words are true and faithful.

This is a Faith Walk, Trust God for He will Provide (1.13.14)

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19

My Child,
Just because you have not seen the provision I have promised you, with your natural eyes - does not mean it will not arrive. I have promised you that if you keep your eyes focused on Me, and not the expectant provision, you will begin to see greater measures of My Glory in every aspect and area of your daily existence.

Look to Me.
You are My chosen vessel of honor.
I will not fail you in any way.

The provision that you are waiting for is indeed, a part of the fulfillment of My plan. There is no need for you to delay in praising Me for its' arrival. Praise Me now. Praise Me just as if you have already dispensed of it in the earth. Remember these words, "That whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

So get into the spirit of praise for what I am doing in your life right now. I am calling you to be the very best steward with faithfulness in every respect. The reward for your faithfulness is immeasurable, if you would but totally yield the whole of your thoughts towards Me. In the secret place, I will reveal the deeper plans and purposes that I have for you. Cast off all fear, come unto Me and spend time with Me. Allow My love to draw you closer to Me. My love is perfect love and it will cast off all fear, so that you can enter into my presence.

And one last thing, just because you don’t see Me moving in the direction you expect Me to move in, does not mean that I am not moving. Remember, My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

All you need to do is trust Me.
And know that I will provide.

- My Prayer Confession -

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding me
that this is a faith walk.

You have never failed me.

I am trusting and leaning on You all the way.

I know that delayed does not mean
that my blessing is denied.

I will wait patiently for Your promises,
For I know You as my Jehovah Jireh,
My Provider

Amen.

You Are Ordained for Victory Through Christ (1.9.14)

Beloved,
Have you not read in My word how the spiritual battles often raged around Me as I went about My Father’s business?  That’s because of Who I Am, and as I pushed back the kingdom of darkness, he would try and fight back.  This is what is happening to you.  The enemy is pushing back because of the works you are doing.  The enemy does not like to lose.  Do not worry about the battle that rages around you, for I have already given you the victory.

To be victorious all you have to do is stand and follow My battle strategy.  It’s very simple, I looked to the Father and did only what He showed Me to do.  There were times when the Father simply took care of things and I had to do was to be still.  Other times the Father would call Me to action and would show Me what to do.  I engaged only in the battles that He led Me into, I fought the way He showed Me to fight and each time the Father would give Me the victory.

So do not be surprised when the enemy tries to do the same things to you that He tried to do to Me when I walked this earth; for you bear My name.  I never promised you that it would always be easy, in fact, I said in this world, there would be times of tribulation and adversity.  Do not be afraid of these things, for I overcame them, and they shall not overcome you.  I have placed My Spirit within you, I have given you My work to do and I will empower you to complete it successfully.

I have made you victorious and an overcomer through Me.  So do not fear the battle, precious one, for I am fighting along side of you.  I will work My glory in each of your circumstances as you go forth in obedience to Me.  I will lift you up to the place of victory and I will cause you to stand mighty in Me.  So don’t fear the battle, for you are ordained for victory.

Psalm 118:6 - The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Seek Me, Then Your Spiritual Eyes Will Be Opened (1.8.14)

Beloved,
For a while now you have been sensing a distance and dryness of My presence in your life.  You have been greatly troubled by this and have considered many reasons why this is so.  You have searched deep within your heart and found mistakes, but your mistakes have been covered by My blood.  My blood is more than sufficient to cover a multitude of your sins, so why are you still sensing a distance from My presence?

Let Me tell you; it is all about pursuit.

In times when you feel that I am distant, that’s My call to you to pursue Me.  To search Me out in all your ways.  Seek Me in your daily activities.  Read My Word daily and in the pursuit of My presence, you will gain renewed strength. This pursuit is designed to strengthen and revitalize your spiritual muscles.  It is designed to draw you closer to Me, to renew your vows and your love for Me.

So when you feel discouraged and disappointed, seek Me.  For when you seek Me with all your heart, surely you will find Me. Then your spiritual eyes will be open to see that it was not I who moved; I was there all the time, waiting patiently for you.

Jeremiah 29:12-14a - Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD

God is Everything for Everybody, Everywhere, Every Time and in Every Way (1.7.14)

GOD is my Redeemer, He is my Savior,
He is my guide and He is my peace!
He is my Joy, He is my comfort,
He is my Lord and He rules my life!
I serve Him because His bond is love, His burden is light
and His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
the power of the powerful, the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers,
the leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers
and the sovereign Lord of all that was and is and is to come.

And if that seems impressive to you, try this on for size.

His goal is a relationship with ME!

He will never leave me, never forsake me,
never mislead me, never forget me, never overlook me
and never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!

When I fall, He lifts me up! When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong! When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage! When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me! When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me! When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me! When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me! When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!

He is everything for everybody, everywhere, every time and in every way.
He is GOD, He is faithful.
I am His and He is mine!
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...
He said it and that settles it.
GOD is in control, I am on His side and that means that all is well with my soul.

Everyday is a blessing
for GOD Is!
