Trust God with All Your Heart (11.29.14)

Faith Belivers,
There are times in our life when we go through trials and tribulations,
during these times we tend to forget all that the Lord has done for us,
and we focus on what our problems are.

Whatever you are going through, never forget to say thank you
to The One who brought you this far.
For our GOD is the very One, the only One,
who can and will deliver you again.

GOD said to be thankful in all situations, good or bad,
because all things are working together for your good.

The Lord is the ultimate master planner over our lives
and He knows what is best for us.
He will reveal to you, in His own timing,
why you experienced the things you did.

GOD loves us, and would never hurt us.
He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us.
Trust GOD with all of your heart,
and He will surely keep you, as He has promised.

Seek God in a Place of Peace, Experience His Power & Receive the Answers You Need (11.28.14)

A Place of Peace

Beloved,
I know I seem to be repeating myself to you, however you are asking Me the same things. If you would stand still for a moment, then you would sense My presence and hear My Words. You do not need to search for Me, or run to find My presence, you need only to remain still. I am right here and I am listening to your every word. I am the Prince of Peace, and it’s in this place of peace that you will find Me.

I know you are expecting Me to display a mighty rushing wind; however, I can show you so much more of My love when you are in a place of peace. I am all around you and I am waiting for you to become quiet before Me.  Be still in My presence, for in the stillness you will hear My still, small voice giving you divine directions. Stop fighting, stop trying to work things out in your own strength.

Do not allow this season to be the reason that you miss what I want to do in your life. I will give you what you need to overcome, and even quench the thirst that’s growing stronger in your heart. Yes, I will give you the ability, and the gifts, to serve Our Father. However, in order to receive, I want you to set aside some time and seek Me in a place of peace, so that I can bless you with what you need.

So come, get to know Me as the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, Jehovah Jireh, the Protector of your soul; and you will experience the fullness of Who I Am.

Rest in Me.
Begin by knowing that I am found in peace.
It is in this place of peace that you will experience My power
It is in this place of peace that you will receive the answers you need.

A Thanksgiving Prayer (11.27.14)

O Lord GOD,
From whom comes every good and perfect gift,
we give You hearty thanks for Your love,
Your grace and the tender mercies you have showered upon us.

We praise you for everything, whether joyful or sorrow,
that brings us closer to You and to our brothers and sisters here on Earth.

You created us to give You glory.
Help us to manifest our love and thanksgiving
by treating one another with respect and kindness,
loving one another as you have taught us to do
and give us the passion to help those who struggle
to have the necessities of life.

We pray that as we celebrate this season,
we never forget all that has come from You.

Lord, thank you for having mercy on us and our families
by giving us travelling mercies as we visit loved ones.

Keep us safe as we travel and enjoy each others company.

We give special thanks for the fruits of Your earth,
the delicious food we are about to eat
and especially for all the family and friends
gathered here to share in this day.

Oh Lord, bless us and keep us,
make your face to shine upon us
and give us grace, this day and forever more.

In the name of your precious son JESUS Christ!

Amen

Just be Thankful & You will See Changes take Place all Around You (11.25.14)

My Child,
You find yourself in a tight place, and the enemy is trying to convince you that your options are few, to none. Because of his nagging whispers, your mind is constantly focused on lack instead of abundance. Why are you allowing his words to determine your happiness? Don’t you know that the enemy is delighted that you are losing hope? Do not glorify him by repeating those words of lack, doubt and hopelessness. Do not allow the enemy to take anything else away from you. Hasn’t he already taken enough?

My child, lift up your voice and confess the things you are thankful for, and the enemy will leave your presence.

I know during this season you may start to worry about what you don’t have; however, I want you to start being thankful for what you do have. If you cannot praise Me now for the small things I have done in your life, how will you be able to appreciate the greater things to come? I say be thankful. Yes, be thankful for the many things I have already blessed you with. What I have given you is only the beginning of things to come.

However, I want you to be thankful now in the midst of what you are going through.

I have given you the authority and My Word to defeat the enemy.  Use them.  Do not allow the enemy to torment you anymore. Start now by being thankful for what you have. Start now by speaking forth My Words in your 'tight places,' and My Words will deliver you into a broader place.

Just be thankful and you will see changes take place all around you.
_________
Father,
I woke up.
I’m alive.
I’m healthy.

I thank you.
Forgive me for all my complaining.
Lord I am ever so grateful.
Thank you Father God,

In Your Son Jesus' name I pray,
Amen

2 Samuel 22:20 - He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the Full Armor of God Against the enemy (11.24.14)

Put on the full armor of GOD so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes - Ephesians 6:11

Faith Belivers,
The enemy of our GOD is our enemy as well.
We are not in a neutral position.

When Christians gather as the church, we become a real threat to satan. We are there to worship, to pray, to teach, to instruct and to encourage one another to live and proclaim the kingdom of GOD; and as such, proclaim the enemy’s defeat. It is apparent that he will do all he can to prevent that from happening.

The real danger for us is our being unaware of the enemy’s schemes. We approach every difficulty in church as though it is just a natural thing. When churches divide over whether or not to use hymns or contemporary choruses, that is not natural. When the pastor of the church turn out to be a wolf in sheep clothing, that is not natural. When the saints, called to live in love, spend their time criticizing and accusing one another, that is not natural. Beware of these schemes and understand when you see them.  The devil has come to church!

~ Let us Pray ~
Lord, I know how much You love Your Church.
Because of that great love, help us to wake up
and begin to understand the schemes of the enemy,
against Your people.
Give us insight into the spiritual attacks
against the churches we attend.
Show us how to pray in a way that sets the devil to flight,
and brings the overcoming power of Your victory into our congregations.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

Prayer Points
  • Give praise to the one who said, “I am . . . the truth” (See John 14:6).
  • Thank GOD for rescuing you from the darkness of satan’s deceit and placing you in the kingdom of his marvelous light (See 1 Peter 2:9)
  • Repent of those times that you have been uncomfortable with the light of God’s truth and have preferred twisting the truth to suit your purposes.
  • Commit yourself to walking in the light of GOD’s truth with your whole heart.
  • Ask GOD to make you willing to walk in the light, no matter the cost to your pride or reputation.
  • Ask GOD to use your example of honesty and truthfulness this week to move someone’s heart to see the reality of GOD.

It is Time to Stop Running, Stand Up to the enemy & Watch him Flee. Do Not Run. Look to God's Word. (11.23.14)

My Child,
Why are you running from the attacks of the enemy?  You were told to resist the enemy and watch him flee from you; not to turn and run away from him. You are a child of the King. You have nothing to fear. It is time to stop running, and hold fast to the things that I have promised you. Yes, if you continue to look at the circumstances around you, it will cause panic and unbelief in your heart. So stop looking at them, and look to My Word. That is where you will find the help you need to win this battle… IN MY WORD.

It is time to press in through prayer and stand against all that is coming against you. It is time to have complete faith and trust Me to deliver you from all that is hindering you. It is true that the attacks coming against you have been huge, but I AM GREATER! You must believe this beyond a shadow of a doubt. I AM GREATER! Have you forgotten WHO is on your side?

I am releasing My angels to minister to you with words of encouragement, to strengthen you to stand against every attack of the enemy. And when you’re strengthened, I want you to rise up, stand up and tell the enemy, “Get thee behind me satan. I serve GOD and GOD alone!!” Stand up and show the enemy who you are in Christ Jesus. Lift up your voice and say, “No weapon the enemy has, will ever prosper against me.” I have called you to be victorious, and with Me on your side, nothing is impossible for you.

My child, whenever you are weary and weak, lean on Me.
That is why I am here.

Yes, the enemy loves to attack when he believes you are weak. Remember how he came against Me when he thought I would be weak from fasting? I conquered the enemy to show you that no matter what you are going through, faith in My Word defeats satan every time. My child, do not ever run from the enemy, instead look and trust in Me. Have faith in My Word, and know that I am always with you.

I am your very present help in the time of need.
Having faith in My Word will win the battle.

Now, let’s defeat the enemy standing in your way with prayer and having faith in who you know I am. There is no other GOD, I am GOD all by myself and I have power over all things!!!!!

Though anhost should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Praying in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit (11.21.14)

Faith Believers,
When Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:18 to “pray in the Spirit,” he is urging us to pray as the Spirit enables us to pray, or to pray by the power and direction of the Spirit. In other words “pray in the Spirit” is not a command; it’s an offer of help - help that is available for any praying believer, anytime, anywhere.

The Holy Spirit is the great prayer helper and is eager to guide us in who, and what, to pray for. The Spirit is always on the lookout for believers who will pray for what God wants to do. How practically does the Spirit do this?  Perhaps by giving you a burden - such a deep love and concern for a person or a cause that it weighs on you.  Or by giving you an unexpected thought - a thought that breaks in so abruptly that you ask, “Where did that come from?” Or even by giving you a strong impression - a sense that the Spirit wants you to pray about something so that the Spirit can act in response to your prayer. Perhaps the Holy Spirit may make a scripture verse come alive in your heart, so that you are reminded of a person or situation that needs prayer. The Spirit has control of our hearts, minds and emotions; and can cause a burden, thought, impression or insight at anytime to guide us in prayer.

If you are not certain that a prompting to pray is from the Holy Spirit, then ask GOD for the wisdom that He promises to give “generously to all” who ask in faith (See James 1:5). GOD will give the wisdom that He promised, so that you can be certain.

It is no wonder that Jesus strongly urged believers to pray for the Holy Spirit and promised that the Father in heaven would most certainly “give the Holy Spirit to those who ask” (See Luke 11:13). If you have ever asked yourself, “What is the first step I should take in order to improve my prayer life,” then here is the answer. Ask the Father for the Holy Spirit, trust that God our Father gives you the Spirit, and then lean on the Holy Spirit for the help the Spirit gives you in every aspect of your prayer life.

The Holy Spirit is willing, the Holy Spirit is able, and the Holy Spirit will do it.

     - Marilyn
_______

Thank You Father,
For the gift of Your Holy Spirit!

Help me to be continually aware as the Spirit works
around, in and through me to encourage my heart towards prayer.

May I be looking for the Spirit’s promptings and burdens,
so that I never miss an opportunity to pray as the Spirit directs!

Lord God, I ask in faith, for the wisdom You promised
to give generously, so that my prayer life is filled
with purpose and is always in agreement with You!

May I never choose to lean on my own understanding,
but to continually follow the lead of the Holy Spirit
all the days of my life.

In Your Son Jesus' name,
Amen

If You Don't Walk & Act in Faith, You Cannot Hear God. Listen, Believe & Obey His Word. (11.20.14)

My Child,
Turn around.
You are headed in the wrong direction.

You are being gripped by fear and self-pity is knocking at your door. Do not allow yourself to go there, because that is a place from which is hard to climb out. Do you remember the last time you were in that pit?  Do you remember how long you dwelled there? I don’t want you to go there again. Please stop and turn around right now.

Yes, make a complete turnaround.

Push through the pain and the fear.  Then My instructions and directions will become clear. You can’t hear Me when you don’t walk and act in faith. Do not keep your mind on the “what if's,” because that will only distract you. Stay focused on My power and My goodness. Trust in Me and fear will have to leave in the name of Jesus. There should be no room in your life for fear, when your heart and mind are filled with thoughts of Me and My goodness.

If you listen to Me, we will get through this together,
because I have promised to never leave nor forsake you.
You are My vessel, and that means you are part of Me,
and My vessels should always listen, believe and obey My Word.
_______

Deuteronomy 2:3 - You have been wandering around in this hill country long enough; turn to the north.

Galatians 6:9 - So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up.

Colossians 3:1-2 - Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at GOD's right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.

Speak Lord, for Your Servant Hears (11.19.14)

Faith Believers,
So how do you learn to listen so you can hear from GOD?

For me it started with a need to hear from our Father. Good listening starts with the desire to learn. If you feel you can handle life without Him, you will not hear from Him. It is not a matter of setting aside more time, although that would be good, but it is about having silence in your mind. That is the key. The world can be very loud around us, but I can still find quietness in my heart and mind whether in an airport or in the woods.

Remaining silent before GOD does not mean that you will have no thoughts or reflections. It does mean you will stop telling GOD your needs, and say as Samuel did in the Bible, “Speak. Lord, for Your servant hears” (1 Samuel 3:9).

GOD wants us to come before Him with a clean slate,
and a humble heart, so we can hear from Him.

  - Marilyn Chaney
______

Thank You Lord,
For teaching me how to be still before You.
I praise Your Holy name for speaking in the quietness,
as I wait upon You.

As I still my heart before You, there is always a sense
of Your pleasure that I cannot sense
when I barge into Your presence with my requests.

I long to learn what it means to truly “pray without ceasing,”
in every circumstance of life.
I know that I cannot handle life without You.
Speak, Lord, for I am listening!

Amen

It is Your Time, It is Your Season. (11.18.14)

My Child,
I have molded you, and now is the time for you to come forth. The enemy unleashed an attack against you to discourage you and to hinder My work. However, you cannot allow his pitiful stumbling blocks to get in the way of the work I have destined for you to do.  I know at first, you didn’t recognize what the enemy was doing; but when you persevered in prayer and surrendered all to Me, you gave Me the chance to expose his work. Now, you see what he’s doing, and I want you to know this is not the end of you. It is your time, it is your season.

I know this has been hard for you, and at times, you've felt like I turned away from you. My child, I’ve heard every prayer you prayed, and I’ve seen the tears you cried. I never left you. If I had left your side you wouldn’t have been able to cry out, “Hallelujah anyhow; Hallelujah Jesus.” You were able to praise Me, because I was with you. I was ministering to your spirit, whispering words of encouragement to let you know that I heard every word you said.

You are not defeated. It will be as I promised. It will be according to My will.

You shall come forth.
My words shall come forth, and they will bless many.

Worry no more about what it looks like. My Words will do the work. You must be ready to move forth. No, it is not too late for your dreams to come to pass. Time and age mean nothing to Me, for I am in control of everything.

Fret no more My child.
All is well.

Let My Word flow through you and come forth,
for it will be greater than you can imagine.

The time has come for my work to come forth.

God is with Us in Our Storms (11.17.14)

Fear Not, For I Am With You, says the Lord.
GOD is not man that He should lie.
He has promised never to leave us during our storm.
He has given us the scriptures listed below to encourage us.
________

Jeremiah 33:3 - Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

2 Corinthians  4:7-10 - But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of GOD and not of us. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed - always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

Philippians 4:6 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to GOD, and the peace that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your GOD. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Psalms 56:3 - Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

John 14:25-27 - But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.  Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Psalms 107:29 - He calms the storm, So that its waves are still.

Isaiah 30:21 - Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

Listening to the Holy Spirit, Being the Answer to Someone's Prayers (11.16.14)

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, ‘Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead - James 2:15-17

Faith Belivers,
It happens to all of us! We see a homeless person, or come upon the scene of an accident, or we hear of a family in financial need and immediately we may think to pray in each of these situations, “Lord, please help that person. Send someone to meet that need!” But what if GOD wants to use you and your family to be the answer to that prayer? Are you prepared to back up your prayers with action, if the Lord directs? I believe that our Father wants us to learn how to be the hands and feet of His Son, to those hurting or lost people.

Since Jesus lives in us, we should consider, as we pray, what He would do to meet this need or help this person, if He were physically present – because He is! He is physically present in the midst of every situation because He is incarnate – in us! Could this thought and realization change the way you respond to the prayers that you pray? Instead of thinking that you have done the right thing by praying for someone, and then moving along to the next activity of your day, consider this question: Do you need to take your prayer to the next level by listening to what the voice of the Spirit speaks to your heart? How many opportunities have we missed because we have not acted in response to the impulse of the Spirit, urging us to make Jesus known in the midst of the lives or situations of others?

I believe that many of the prayers we pray, can be answered quickly and with amazing results, if we become better listeners to the voice of the Holy Spirit. If we could learn to change our mindset as we pray, I believe that GOD would use us often and in mighty ways to be His agents of transformation. Can you imagine how fulfilling and exciting your lives would be if your family would continually wait upon the Lord, to see how He may want to use you to be the answer to the prayers that you pray for the sake of others?

______

Holy Spirit,
My spiritual ears are often plugged up,
as You seek to guide my heart towards Your purposes!

How often I miss Your promptings
to be the answer to the prayers I pray!

Please teach me to be a faithful agent for Jesus and
to the people I pray for, so that I might partner with the Father
in meeting the needs of those who are seeking a touch from His hand.

In Jesus' Name,
Amen

Jesus is "Just a Touch" Away (11.14.14)

Beloved,
I am abiding with you in all that you do, but I hear you say that at times you cannot feel My presence. You say you miss My touch, and you wonder where I am. I am right here. I know at times it may seem like I am not there, but I am with you. I am holding back things that you cannot even imagine.

Right now, even though you say you cannot feel My touch, I am doing things to answer the many prayers that you have prayed. However, at this moment, I need to take some time to help you see that I’ve never left you; and to show you what you need to do to receive “just a touch” from Me this day.

Stop, right now, just for a few minutes; close your eyes, shut out everything and focus your mind on Me. Now say, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.”  You don’t even have to say My name out loud; you can just think it, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.” Go ahead and try it, because I know and hear your deepest thoughts. Now, do you feel My presence? Do you feel My touch? I am never more than just a thought away from you. I am right there with you. My child, I have imparted so much in you that you can never leave My presence without feeling that something is missing. Yes, we are just that close. Your desire to be more like Me is rooted in your life and causing you to walk in My ways.

Just one touch. All you need is just one touch from Me to bring restoration back into your life. Just one touch from Me refreshes and revives your weary soul. You told Me, “Lord all I need is 'just a touch' from you this day.” My child, I heard you and gave you so much more.

So remember, when you say you don’t feel My presence, it's a sign that you've surrendered to your problems and not to Me. It's an indication that your mind isn't focused on My goodness and mercy.  And if you aren't focused My blessings, then it's time to stop what you're doing, and call My name, because I am always there for you.

I am "just a touch" away.

Praise God, Talk to Him Often & Trust Him with All Your Needs (11.13.14)

My Child,
Why are you feeling down? Don’t you know I long to hold you close? All you have to do is call out to Me. I will come and take away your pain, your hurt and your sadness. Do not allow your hurt and pain to cause you to lash out at others. When you do that, it only causes more negative feelings and unforgiveness to linger in your heart.

Release what you are feeling to Me, for I want to perfect all that concerns you. Do not continue to shut Me out when you are going through hard times. It hurts Me to see you suffer needlessly.

Watch the words you speak, so those who are hurting will not take things the wrong way. And do not allow the words of others to destroy you. It is My desire that you live peacefully with everyone. Forgive them as I forgave you.

Do not hold onto the pain and hurt, release it. I am here for you. Call out to Me, I will hold you close and wipe away all your tears. Trust Me with your family and all your needs.

If you lift your eyes up, you will see that I am all you need. I can make all that is wrong in your life so much better, but only if you let Me in. I have so much peace and joy that I want to share with you. Try Me and you will find Me to be faithful and true. So much is waiting for you, if only you release what you are feeling, for I long to fill you up to overflowing with an abundant life. I am your healer.

Praise Me, talk to Me often.
I am right here with you.
I know your every desire, your every need.
I love you, My child, and I only want the best for you.
I promise you only good and perfect gifts.

You are precious to Me.
I want you to walk in My joy.
Release your pain and allow Me to perfect that which concerns you.

~ My Prayer Confession ~
Father God,
Thank You,
for wanting me to have only good and perfect gifts.
I confess that there have been times throughout my life when
I have settled for second best, because I did not seek You first,
or because I did not have the right motives.

Thank you for teaching me how to forgive,
so that I may receive forgiveness.

Now Lord, I release all that I am feeling,
so that You can perfect all that concerns me.

Thank You for making me blessed and highly favored!!

In your Son Jesus' Name,
Amen

Our Blessings are in God's Hands (11.12.14)

Father God,
We wouldn’t be honest, if we said that the things we have lost and suffered
didn’t cause sadness in our heart from time to time.

However, as we draw nearer to You, we realize that the things we lost
didn’t really belong to us; they belonged to You.

It was You, who blessed us to have jobs.
It was You, who blessed us to be prosperous.
It was You, who made a way when there was no way,
over and over again.
And it is You, who is keeping us right now.
It is You, who will turn things around and cause our latter
to be greater than our former.

Lord, we trust in You. You have not changed.
Although, we cannot see it now;
we know our blessing is in Your hands, for it all belongs to You.

Thank You God for keeping us and our blessings safe.

God has a message for us:
My Child,
All you think you have lost, I have in My hands. I am a loving Father.
When things are taken out of your life, it is for a reason and a season,
just as it was with My servant Job.
There was a reason for the season he went through.
Job didn’t understand it, but He never lost faith in Me.

I want you to be faithful as My servant Job was,
and say, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him,”
then stay before Me as Job did, and plead your case.

If you do, when it is all over,
your latter will be greater than your former.

Philippians 3:7-8 - I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ (NLT)

Job 13:15 - Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Stand on His Promises & Speak God's Words (11.11.14)

My Child,
In My Word, I have called you to be the head and not the tail. I have made you into My image and that image is one of a success and a ruler. So please do not look to your circumstances and bow your knees to it; but rise up and realize that I have given you authority to turn those circumstances around for good.

You are not the tail that follows and submits to circumstances; you are the head that leads and directs the way that the body should go. In the same way, My child, take control by using the power that I have given you. No matter how impossible the mountains may look, realize that there is nothing impossible with Me. So open your mouth and begin to speak forth those things that are not, as if they are.

Stand on My promises and speak My Words into your situation.

Then, where there was death and barrenness; you will see fruition and rich land.
Where there was darkness, you will see light.
Speak My Words, take action on My promises and indeed, you will see change.
I will be right there by your side, says the Lord, I will have my angels go and do what you speak forth. For indeed you are the head and not the tail, and I have given you all that you need to take control. Amen.

Do Not Allow any Obstacle to Keep Us from a Life of Prayer, Love & Intimacy with God (11.10.14)

Faith Believers,
Paul writes in Ephesians 5:16, “[Redeem] the time for the days are evil.” We live in exciting times!! More people are alive today than in any previous generation. The opportunity to impact our world for Christ has never been greater. We have all the resources we need. But there’s one disturbing question, “Where are the workers?”

Jesus said that the solution to enough workers for the harvest, is found in prayer (See Matthew 9:37-38). But that presents another problem, "Where are the men and women of prayer?"
Too many of us have become so busy that we have no time for GOD. It is impossible to have an intimate relationship with anyone, without spending or dedicating sufficient time with that person. How much more true is that with GOD? We long to spend time with those we love. Therefore, if you truly love GOD, you will desire to spend time alone with Him, sharing your heart and allowing Him to share His heart with you.

This may be the greatest hindrance of this generation of pastors. We have become “professional” ministers and learned well how to produce “quality” programs. But we’ve forgotten the secret chamber of prayer. We often entertain but seldom convict. We draw crowds to our buildings but few to our Savior. We’ve learned the art of developing partnerships, but lost the passion to know the One Partner that really matters.

The Father longs to spend time with His children. He calls to us. Steal away and make time to meet with Him. If there is any hindrance to your intimacy with GOD - identify it, confess it and repent of it. Determine in your heart that you long to know Him, to really know Him, more than anything in life. He will come to you. He will meet with you. Don’t allow any obstacle to keep you from such intimacy with GOD.

Thank GOD for what you have. Trust GOD for what you need.

 ~ A Repentant Prayer ~
Lord Jesus,
Forgive my sin of busyness!

I repent of giving in to the temptation
to be caught up in every possible activity
or opportunity that comes my way,
even if they are kingdom-related.

Instead, help my spirit to be yielded to Your heart
and show me the things that keep me
from a deeper intimacy with You.

Out of repentance, please make my desire for You
so strong that I cannot walk away from
any opportunity to seek Your face.

Let a life of prayer flow out of the hearts of Your people
as they are empowered by the Holy Spirit;
so that You will be glorified by wave after wave of workers for the harvest.

Amen.

Seek God First in All Things, He will Show Us Our Right Path (11.9.14)

My Child,
If you feel you have taken a wrong turn, or gotten off track, stop
and ask Me for wisdom and direction.
If you ask, I will lead you in the way that you should go;
and put you back onto the path I ordained for you.
Just because you feel you have made a wrong turn,
does not mean that it is too late to change direction.

There is something else I want you to know,
not all stumbling blocks are from the enemy.

Sometimes, stumbling blocks are My way of telling you
that you have strayed from the path that I chose for you.
That is why it is important for you to seek Me for clear directions,
when you are not sure of which way to go.
And if you have made mistakes, do not worry
about trying to go back and correct everything.
You cannot change the past.
Repent and place all in My hands.

Just, remember from whence you fell off the path, and start over.

Do not allow past mistakes to define who you are, nor where you are going.
I am always willing to set you back on the right path that will lead you to Me.
Take the time now to pray, ask Me where you should be,
and I will give you divine directions.
I will give you directions that will put you back on the spiritual path,
that will lead to your destiny.
When you seek Me first in all things,
everything else will fall into place
and then you will know you are on the right path.

God Will Take Care of You (11.7.14)

My Child,
As I lead you in a direction that you may not understand, do not think that I am doing this to hurt you. I am taking you by the best possible route to your desired destination, so that you will avoid things that could cause you harm.

I desire for you to be blessed above what you can imagine. I want you to walk in light and glory; in health and prosperity.

I will always take care of you.

Always remember, I hold the future in My hands and I know the end from the beginning. Have faith in Me and I will always lead you out of your difficulties. I know what is going on in your life.

I have not been too busy to notice the difficulties that you face. I am here to help you overcome your problems and I will lead you to where you can fulfill your desires.

Didn’t I say that I would always take care of you?
Believe it, Beloved.

MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD:

Matthew 6:26-30 - Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if GOD so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Complete Faith (11.6.14)

My Child,
I know that right now, you feel it is hard to think about the possibility of something good happening in your life. You're feeling this way because you are allowing your circumstances to cause you to believe it's better not to have faith in anything or anyone again.

I know about the disappointments you have encountered, and I understand why you don’t want to trust anymore. However, you must remember, I am the One who delivered you through those disappointments, and I am still the One who is providing the strength for you to stand.

My child, if you had complete faith in Me, instead of having faith in only what you can see, your heart wouldn’t be full of disappointment nor discouragement.
The things you see, will change and one day, fade away. However, I am the same yesterday, today and forever; and I’m with you always. I will never disappoint you, for I always want the best for you.

I know it may not seem like it when things are going wrong;
but believe Me when I say, I do cause good things to happen.
Have faith in Me again, and don’t turn away.

Do Not Let the enemy Steal Your Joy!!! (11.5.14)

A reminder, don't let the enemy steal your joy - M Chaney

THIS JOY!!
One of the main things the enemy is after is your joy.
If he can steal your joy, he can get you in a weakened state
in the face of the things that have come against you.
Don't allow current conditions to steal your joy and keep you from praising God.
Your praise is the very thing that will move your mountains
and lift you above the storm clouds.

My Child,
This joy I speak about is different than happiness.
Happiness is often contingent on circumstances.
But this joy; this joy transcends and overcomes every circumstance
that the enemy has used to bring you down to negativity and despair.
This joy is a deep well, it comes from abiding in Me,
and knowing how much I love and care for your every need.

Tell the enemy to get thee behind you,
and keep believing in Me and My joy.
When you do this, it will cause you to walk in deep abiding joy.
This joy will strengthen your faith to move mountains,
and overcome any circumstances standing in your way.
And if the enemy tries to silence your joyful praise,
by reminding you of situations in your life that aren’t worth praising;
shout all over him and let him know that your situation is in the hands
of the One who heals, delivers and set you free.

I've given you this joy, and no one can take it from you.

God's Word is His Promise (11.4.14)

My Child,
My Word and My promise are more than enough to
see you through the new storm that has entered your life.
Therefore, do not allow what you’re facing
to cause you to believe that you cannot make it.
Do not shake your head and give up.
Do not give up on Me, because I have not given up on you.
I am still here.
I have not changed.
I will never allow you to go through anything alone.

Do not let the lies of the enemy make you believe
that it’s not worth the fight.
The enemy wants you to give up,
because you are so close to victory.
he wants you to stop short of your victory,
just as you have in the past.
I say to you, do not let him win.
Do not allow the heat of the battle cause you to run away.
I am calling you to run to the battle;
face it with Me by your side.
Yes, I know it looks impossible, but I Am that I Am,
and nothing is impossible for Me.

Rise up My conqueror.
I love you, and I care about all that you are going through.
I am faithful, and I promise that you will get through this.
You will get through this because I am with you always.
My promise is My Word, and My Word is My promise.

Now, I have given you My Word and My promise,
and they are more than enough to carry you through.
So, let’s face this thing together.
Together, we will not fail.
I have wonderful plans ahead for you.

Keeping Company with God through Prayer (11.3.14)

You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand - Psalm 16:11

Faith Believers,
Human beings are created to live in fellowship with GOD.
We are meant to have and enjoy life, in relationship with GOD.
Without this relationship, we are like branches cut off from a tree,
like toasters not plugged in.
Prayer is the way that we get in touch with GOD,
and the way we keep in touch with him.
I used to think of prayer as a spiritual exercise,
a discipline that had to be worked at.
Through the years, however, GOD has taught me to see it more
and more as the talking part of a friendship.
One of the early church fathers called it “keeping company with GOD.”
I like that!

Sometimes people ask how much time they should spend in prayer each day.
I used to suggest that twenty minutes of formal prayer a day was a minimum.
I reinforced that by reminding them of the many things
that need to be included in prayer, and then I added that twenty minutes a day
is only about 2 percent of our waking hours each day.

Now when people ask about the time they should spend in prayer,
I simply tell them they should spend enough time to build a good relationship.
Considering that the relationship we are talking about is life’s
most important love relationship, that means plenty of time.
What does GOD do for those who relate to him in love?
The psalmist put it well when he said, “You will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”

Thank GOD for what you have, trust GOD for what you need.

My Heavenly Father,
How blessed I am to be Your child
and to know that You desire to keep company with me.
To have relationship with me!

I am overflowing with thankfulness!
Please pour out, in me, a deeper desire to connect with You continually
rather than wedge You into a quick moment in my day.
I desire to be so aware of Your presence, living and working in
and through me, that this knowledge is persistently locked
into my consciousness.

May I commune with you as naturally and easily
as I breathe in and out.
Father, fill me with joy in Your presence!

In Your Son Jesus' name,
Amen

Removing the Limitations (11.2.14)

My Child,
Take your eyes off your own limitations and look at My limitless power.
Take your eyes off the impossibility of your own situation
and see the great possibilities that I have planned for your life.

When you have faith in My power and My ability to perform miracles,
your mind will begins to think on the great things I can do.
Beloved, please do not put limitations on Me.
When you have faith in My Word, the blindfold of the enemy
will fall from your eyes, and you will see Me turn your mountain
into a grain of sand, right before your eyes.

I want you to stand fast in prayer and hold onto your faith in Me.
The more you hold onto My Word, the more I will expand your vision
and allow you to see as I see.
Do not take your eyes off Me, because if you do,
it will affect your faith in Me, to do the impossible.
Without faith, I cannot do the impossible in your life,
and that causes great sadness in My heart.

So, remove the limitations off Me today,
by staying in My Word and having faith in Me.
Then you will see that all is possible,
and that I am more than able to move mountains on your behalf.
___________

LET US PRAY:
Lord,
I surrender all to you.

Please help me to stay out of Your way,
so that my thoughts and actions
do not hinder or limit the miraculous things
You want to do in my life.

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
Amen

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:

Matthew 19:26 - But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with GOD all things are possible.

Mark 9:23 - Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to GOD must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God Shall Set Us Free & Open Our Eyes. His Love is There for Us Always. (11.1.14)

My Child,
Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy laden,
and I shall give you peace and strength.
I shall quench your thirst with My living water,
and feed your Spirit with My Word.
I shall stand before you through the tempest, the storms,
and the darkest nights - always providing for your journey.
Come, just come, and rest in the arms of your Father.
I want My rest and peace to be with you at all times.

In times of weakness, I will be your strength.
I will lift you up, and you shall soar above your problems and turmoil.
You will be set free from all that has chained you,
hurt you and held you bound.
I shall open your eyes, and you shall see
as you have never seen before.

My Word will become clear, certain, and there shall be
no confusion, for My Word shall set you free.
Be free in Me, for My name is the name above all names,
and in it is freedom, peace, love, and tranquility at all times.

My child, listen to Me, feed upon My Word, and I shall give you
wisdom so you will truly understand that I Am with you.

Yes, I Am with you in all times.

Never, never will I leave you.

Never will I forsake you.

So, hold fast to My Word and let nothing separate you
from what I am doing in your life.

Listen, I loved you before you were, and that love surrounds you,
in all times and in all seasons.

My love is there for you always.
