Our God is Just - He Can be Trusted!! (7.31.15)

I'm sure we all have been involved in gossip at one point in our lives
but repentance and asking GOD for forgiveness is important.

Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. -  Ephesians 4:29 (NASB)

After church, two women giggled at their rare chance of conversation in the midst of their busy lives. One of them paused for a moment and then thought, “Now, I can get this off my chest.”  Pushing down guilt, she shared about how one of her friends had treated her badly. The other woman gasped, sipping her coffee in delighted horror at the fascinating details of her friend’s recounting. The ladies bonded over that trial, validating each others concerns, and pretending, for a brief moment, that they themselves were never party to such things.

Deep down however, both women felt a tug of something else during that discussion.
Joy didn’t permeate their hearts they way it did when they were in right relationship with GOD.
The gossip that had tasted so good at the beginning, was hard to swallow.
The Holy Spirit inside of them, was reminding them that gossip,
masquerading itself as righteous recounting, doesn't settle well.
It ultimately leads to relationship death, not life.

Next time you are confronted with the urge to share some unsavory news about a friend or family member who has mistreated you, ask yourself if this information will be life-giving for the friend you are with, or even life-giving for you to repeat. If we feel we need to talk it out, even after GOD tells us to make sure our conversation is edifying; and to consider a more biblical and direct confrontation (see Matthew 18:15-16).

When we disobey Scripture, to vent and gossip,
we are basically telling GOD that we don’t Trust Him
with the outcome of our story.

We’re trying to find comfort in something that will never satisfy.
Remember GOD is just — He can be trusted!
So if you need to vent to someone, He is always available.

It’s never gossip when you’re talking to Him!

Dear GOD, 
Thank You for reminding me that You have something
far better for me than gossip or slander. 

I trust that You know my situation, and that you will help me
not to be overshadowed by someone else’s malicious behaviors,
intended or not.

Father God, I know that You will not let anything 
get in the way of the dreams You have placed inside of my heart,
all of those things that You want for me. 

I receive that now. 

You have called me toward a purity of speech, 
and I want to honor You in that way today and every day. 

So please help me to take every thought and word captive, 
and release them to You.

God has Given Us a Goal, Called Us to Run Our Race. Keep Pressing Your Way. (7.30.15)

My Child,
I have given you a goal,
and I expect you to run your race
and strive towards accomplishing the goal
that I have set for you. 

There are times when the enemy will set bumps and obstacles in your path to oppose you, hoping you will stop doing what I have called you to do. 

Child, you must not let the presence of obstacles deter you from what I have put in your heart to do.
Do not allow difficult circumstances to turn you from the path that I have set you on. 
Instead, seek Me for guidance and trust Me to show you clearly what My Will is for you.

Do not give up on the race that I have called you to run,
and do not turn from the path that I have set you upon. 

Child, I have called you to run your race, so run it and do not be deterred by the bumps that you find in your path.  Use those bumps as stepping stones, and keep running the race; so that you might possess the prize that I have set before you.  When you run your race and you encounter obstacles in the way, never take that as an indication to stop running.  Keep pressing your way.

My Child, do not choose the easier path that you crossed along the way, for it will not lead you in the direction of victory. Yes, there will be obstacles.  For the enemy of your soul does not want you to complete your race. However, if you look to Me for direction, I will lead you to the Right Path.

When you are not sure of the way to go, ask Me. 
Have I not said in My Word, "If any of you lack wisdom, ask GOD?"

Ask Me, for I am capable of making the way clear to you when you sincerely seek My face.
Therefore, look to Me, and allow Me to guide you past the bumps in the road,
and lead you on to the prize that I have prepared for you.

So, seek My Face, and never stop short of reaching your destiny.
Never turn back, and never let the bumps in the road cause you to give up. 


MEDITATE ON HIS WORD
Isaiah 45:2 - I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

Trust is not an Emotion, Trust is Standing on God's Word (7.29.15)

My Child, 

Trust is not an emotion, nor is it thinking that you know what I will do in a certain situation. 
Trust is the assurance that I, the Lord your God, am good, faithful and that I Am omnipotent. 

Trust is demonstrated by obeying My Word, despite the circumstances that surround you. 
Trust is knowing that I am with you, no matter how things look, and that I will bring My glory into your situation. Trust is being obedient to My Will, and trusting Me to work things out for your good.

Trust Me, and I will demonstrate My faithfulness to you, over and over again. 

I want you to trust Me, even when you do not understand what I am doing. 
I count it as trust, when you are uncertain of what I will do on your behalf, and you obey anyhow.
I count it as trust, when you are fearful and trembling, yet you obey every Word I've spoken to you.
My Child, trust is not an emotion.  It is obedience in the face of the storm and standing on My Word. 
I am faithful, and I keep My Word.

Therefore, I ask you to Trust Me.
Trust that I know what I am doing, and that I will take care of you. 
Be obedient and trust Me.
Trust Me because you love Me, for I am Faithful.
 

Meditate on His Word:
Psalm 73:28 - But it is good for me to draw near to GOD: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

Psalm 125:1 - A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Jeremiah 39:18 - For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.

Prayer is a Powerful Change Agent to Achieve God's Purpose, it is not a Way to "Get" Things from God (7.28.15)

..…and since we have a great priest over the house of GOD, let us draw near to GOD with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water - Hebrews 10:21-22


Faith Believers,

One of the main reasons so many Christians believe the wrong things about prayer, is that they have a “hit or miss” theory about praying. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. 

So we develop a bad theology and turn prayer into something it was never meant to be. This problem happens when we look at prayer as a way of getting things from GOD. "If I pray long enough, have enough faith, get enough people to join me in prayer, just maybe I’ll get what I want from GOD..."  

But prayer should not be my way of getting things from GOD. 

Prayer is GOD’s chosen way of accomplishing His Will on this planet! 

My job in prayer is to draw near in intimacy with the Lord. 

As I begin to understand a bit of the Lord’s Heart on a matter,

then I begin to ask Him to accomplish what is already His Will. 

It is at that point that prayer becomes a powerful change agent

 to achieve the Lord’s purposes.

I thank You Lord, 
That You have not left us to our own devices to fight this battle. 
You have provided for us the powerful sword of Your Word, 
and the amazing gift of prayer. 

In Your holy name, Lord Jesus, we take up Your Word 
and ask You to make us, more and more, a people of Your Word. 

Show us how to effectively bring Your Word before You in prayer 
in such a way that the enemy is defeated.

Lord Jesus Christ, it is in Your mighty Name that I pray.

Father God,
Your Word says that a patient man is better than a warrior, and one who controls his temper, than one who takes a city. You have admonished me in Your Word to control my body - my appetites and behavior - in a way that is holy and honorable to You. 

But I confess, Father, that sometimes I fall short of this, in many areas of my life; and I ask that You strengthen me by Your Spirit, so that I might not let sin reign in my body or give in to evil desires (Pause and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal those areas of your life that are not yet submitted to Him.)

May the fruit of self-control continually increase in my life, so that this godly characteristic may be evident in the way that I live, in my words and in my actions. May every aspect of who I am, and how I live, be under the control of the Holy Spirit. 

Father God, I submit to You now in Jesus’ name.

Father God, Empower me to keep a tight rein on my tongue. May I be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry; knowing that anger does not bring about the righteous life that You desire. May I Bless You and Honor You, Father God with my mouth and my life.

May my life be so controlled by Your Holy Spirit that I truly live and move and have my very being in You alone. Help me this day to not indulge my fleshly nature. Strengthen me to stand firm and be self-controlled in thought, word, and action - that I might be a usable, noble vessel for Your purposes and the glory of Your Great Name, Father God. 

Accomplish this through Christ in me.

Enter God's Courts with True Praise (7.24.15)

My Child,
It is easy to stand in faith, when My presence manifests around you.
However, there must be times when you choose to trust in My faithfulness
and to believe in Me, even when you cannot sense My nearness.

It is easy to have joy and say you know My Will,
when you are keenly aware of My presence;
however, I want you to demonstrate that same joy and faithfulness
even when you do not sense My nearness and tangible presence.

Some may think that the happiest people are the ones who have the loudest praise.
The loudest praise comes very often from the ones
who are praising Me while passing through their hardships.
This is the kind of praise that pleases Me the most.
I don’t want men to praise Me only when they are on the mountaintop.
It is My desire to see and hear the praises of My people
while they are walking through the valley of the shadow of death.

This is true praise.  And this is the type of praise that will lead you out of the valley.

Can you offer up a sacrifice of praise in the midst of your pain and suffering?
Oh, that My children will continually praise Me through the circumstances.
Oh, that they would realize the joy that it brings Me when I see My children demonstrating their love and faith in Me while in the fiery furnace.
Oh, to hear them say, though He slay me, yet will I trust Him; yet will I praise Him.

Yes, I know there will be times when you don’t feel like praising Me. However, it’s in those moments that you must not allow your circumstance to dictate to you whether you will praise. You should praise Me because I am worthy of praise. You should praise Me just because of who I Am. Although you are in the midst of difficulties, I am still worthy to be praised.

Although you are in distress, you should still praise My name.

My child, if you desire to come out of that spiritual attack that you’re going through, then open your mouth and give Me a sacrifice of praise.  You’ve prayed about the problem.  And prayer is a warfare, but praise is a victory. You say you have the victory,  well praising signifies spiritual victory.

Lift up your voice and praise Me.
Praise Me for who I Am, not for what I will do, but for who I Am.
Praise Me because you want to see My face, not for what’s in My hand.
Praise Me because you love Me.
Come before Me this day with a heart of thanksgiving.
Enter in My courts with praise and bless My Holy Name.

I knew this day wasn’t going to be easy for you,

You may not understand why things happen the way they do; however, I want you to know nothing ever happens that I’m not aware of.  There is nothing that you will go through that will ever catch Me by surprise.  Everything that I allow to happen in your life is planned to draw you closer to Me. So, do not stress over what the enemy is doing.  he can’t come near your dwelling place, and he can’t take your joy.

Continue to walk faithfully before Me and allow Me to be a part of everything that you do.  And then watch Me, keeping the atmosphere around you charged with My anointing and power.  Nothing, I tell you nothing, can defeat an atmosphere that is charged by My Presence.

Heavenly Father, 
I thank You for the peace You are releasing into my spirit right now. 

I make this my declaration of faith to You -
the things the enemy is taunting me with will not move me.

I will keep my faith in the Name of Jesus!

I will walk by faith and not by sight!

Trust God's Promise. For All Things are in His Timing, His Way. (7.21.15)

My Child,

I promised you that I would do it.  And I will.
However, it will be done in My Way and in My Timing.

My way and My timing are often different than what you expect; but, they are perfect and they are right. My timing is always the best timing, and My way is higher than yours.  I have told you that in My Word many times.

You know only what you perceive and see, but I know every dimension of everything that is going on in your situation.  I know the spiritual forces that are at work against you and what strategies they are taking. I know the things that you cannot anticipate and they will not catch Me by surprise.  My Child, I take every one of these factors into consideration when I choose to work on your behalf and to bring My glory into your life.

I want you to know that I am always at work in your circumstances, to turn them into My Glory. Child, when you are in difficult situations, I will make a way for you to escape.

It may not be exactly what you expect,
but it will be perfect and
it will be for your good.
And it will be just as I promised in My Word.

I Am Holy. I Am Loving. I Am the Truth.
And I Am also faithful and trustworthy.

It’s My desire for you to learn how trustworthy I Am, so that you will put the full measure of your trust in Me.  Don’t you know how much it blesses Me when you trust completely?

So, the answer to your question is yes.
I will do it.  I will deliver you.
However, it will be done in My Way and in My Time,
and it will bring My Glory into your life.
Just as I planned.
 

MEDITATE ON MY WORD
Isaiah 55:8-9 - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

My Child,

All that we’ve gone through together, you should know by now that I Am more than able to keep you. Reach out to Me and I will lift you up this day.  I will lift you far above the pressures that are trying to pull you away from the vision I gave you. 

Yes, I gave you that Vision, do not take your eyes from it.
Press your way, and continue to look towards the mark that I have set before you.
You must keep the Vision before you so you can bear witness to what I am doing.

I know about your daily trials and the cares of this world. 
Do not allow them to divert your eyes from the Vision.
I have placed you where you are, and I will enable you to move forward
as you continue to look to Me.

Beloved,
To do the things I did for My Father, your life must be a reflection of mine.
I spent much time with My Father and did everything I saw Him do.
I received My strength from spending time in prayer with My Father.
I learned so much by dwelling in His presence.
Spend much time with Me.  Reflect upon when you first
fell in love with Me and let that love keep you close to Me & our Father.
Hold on to that, and you will hold on to your vision.
Just reach out, I am there for you. Our Father is there for you.

Do not doubt what I have imparted in you, for you are My Child.
I Am breaking the way open before you this day,
and you will leap and shout when you see Me
and all that I Am doing.

So, keep the vision before you
and know that I AM!

Let the Lord Search Your Heart (7.19.15)

Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them.  If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. --  So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others.  Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.  But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.  Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. - Matthew 6:1 - 4

Faith Believers,
There is no doubt that Jesus wants us to do good things for others.
He wants us to love our neighbors, and to give to those who have needs.
That’s just a part of what it means to follow Him.

But Jesus never looks just at the outward act of righteousness.
He focuses instead on the intentions of our heart.
Why are we helping others?
Is it to be well-thought of by men, or is it an act of worship before the Lord?

Jesus never want us to just focus on giving, fasting or praying.
Instead He want us to engage in deeds of service and kindness as acts of worship;
desiring His pleasure and not the affirmations or thanks from others.

One of the more challenging aspects of following Christ, is to rightly discern our own reasons for doing what we do or saying what we say. I think we all can recall times in our lives when we have done or said “good things,” not because of the call of Christ, but to be liked or thought well of by others. We have gone the extra mile so that another will do something good for us in return, rather than because it is commanded by Jesus. I think we all might be guilty of this at some point in our lives.

Even when we think that we don’t want acknowledgment or thanks for our actions, so often, deep inside, we wonder why nobody said anything.

It is precisely here where we should pray.

We should ask the Lord to examine our heart. Praying Psalm 139:23-24 is helpful: “Search me, O GOD, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if any offensive way are in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

The Lord is not constrained by the selfishness of our own desires and when we ask Him to search us . . . He will.

As His Spirit reveals to us His ways, sometimes we may continue to do or say things, for wrong reasons. However, the Lord give us the opportunity to repent.  Jesus allows us to return to a life of selfless service that honors the Lord our God.

Thank God for what you have.
Bless God for what you need.

Smile & Let God's Spirit Refresh You. Blessed & Joyous Times Are Ahead. (7.18.15)

My Child,
You have been dealing with the disappointment and rejection of the past.
You’ve been tempted to give up on yourself because of feeling unworthy.
The enemy is taunting you, making you think that I don’t need you anymore.
However, I say to you, do not give up on yourself because I have not given up on you.

There are so many wonderful things waiting to be completed by you.
Bring all that burdens you to Me, leave them at My feet
and allow Me to heal and restore your joy.

Don’t waste any more time allowing the enemy
to whisper lies of defeat and failure in your ear.
I Am the Lord your God, I love you, and I want you
to know how loved and blessed you are.

My child, there are many blessed and joyous times ahead for you.

Take a moment and think about what I’ve said,
because if you do it, if you really take a moment and think -
it will put a smile on your face.

Let My Spirit refresh you.

Come, it is time you learn to smile again,
and see the beauty that’s all around you.
Take some time to smile or you may
miss the beautiful things are happening in your life.

Meditate on His Word

God's Seal of Approval is Upon Your Life (7.17.15)

My Child, 

Why are you looking to man for validate you? 

I am the One who chose you, and My validation is the only one that matters.
You have My Spirit within you, and there is no greater validation than being one with Me.

Therefore, do not allow anyone to make you feel like you don’t matter.
Greater is He that is within you, than he that is in this world. 
You have greatness abiding in you.
My Seal of Approval is upon your life.

Others can’t define you because you are created in My Image, and My Spirit dwells in you; therefore, never doubt your ability to do great things for My Glory.  Define yourself by what I have said about you, and whom I called you to be. If you believe I am able, and that I have called and chosen you, and have prepared a destiny for you; then why do you doubt that you are of value to Me?  Why do you doubt that I have a plan and a purpose that was specially created for you?

Don’t doubt anymore.
Don’t be dismayed because your blessings
are taking longer to be fulfilled than expected.

Instead, trust in the One who has been with you from the beginning, and will be with you through the end. 

Have more faith in Me, than in man.
I Am the One who will never fail. 
I Am the One who created you
and understands what you need
and when you need it. 
So, have faith in Me

Now, never let anyone convince you that you aren’t capable of accomplishing what I’ve given you to do.  For I am Your helper and with Me, you can do all things.  I am your strength and your sufficiency, and I make all things possible to My Chosen Ones.

You are the work of My Hands and a delight to My Heart,
and I am more than able to make all grace abound towards you.

My Child, do not worry about what man might say.
I validated you, and you need no other validation. 

It does not matter if man does not recognize or acknowledge your value, you are of great value to Me, and I will work My Glory in you, and through you. 

Be encouraged today and know that I will keep My promises to you. 
Always be defined by what I say of you. 
Never forget that you are you of extreme value to Me.
Never forget that you have My Seal of Approval upon your life.

My Child,
You cannot proclaim My Words of life,
and then speak death through gossip and slander. 

You cannot proclaim My Words of faith and authority;
and then speak words of fear, doubt and unbelief. 

You cannot speak My Words of blessing,
and then complain and murmur about what you don’t have.

I am asking you to speak according to My Words, and My Wods only.
I am asking that your communication be holy, blameless and without fault.
Let that which proceeds out of your mouth be holy and acceptable to My ears.

I know there are times that situations arise, and you feel that you need to defend yourself. You don’t have to worry about defending yourself to anyone.  Allow Me to speak for you. I want you to be set apart for My purposes. As I defended Moses when Korah rose up against him; and when Aaron and Mariam complained against him - I will defend you too. 

Will you trust Me to defend you?
I am asking you to give Me control over what you say. 
Take the coal and cleanse your lips, so that the words you speak
will minister healing and glorify the Kingdom.

It’s My desire to see My people prophesy; releasing words of evangelism, encouragement, and wisdom to build up My Kingdom.  However, I cannot pour out My Spirit into unworthy vessels, nor will I put My Words into mouths that choose not to speak the truth in all things.

Therefore, I am asking you to consecrate your mouth unto Me,
and allow Me to transform your thoughts. 
Allow Me to put My Words into your mouth,
so that you can speak, thus said the Lord.
Walk and talk worthy before Me.
Allow Me to have lordship over what you say,
so that your words will be used for My glory.

Faith Believers,

For years my mornings have consisted of personal devotion time, 

a cup of coffee (or two), followed by watching the morning news 

as I prepare for my workday. 

As time has passed, keeping with my morning ritual has become extremely difficult. Watching the morning news has become almost unbearable for me, because it seems like headline after headline is filled with reports of injustices, heinous crimes against women, innocent children, the elderly, and the most vulnerable among us.

With every story of what seems to be more tragic, senseless loss; I admit my faith in justice has wavered. I've often wondered, “Lord, where are You?” At times my heart has become so heavy that I've speculated whether God really hears my prayers for those who are suffering in this world.

Perhaps you are like me, your faith has begun to waver -  and justice seems elusive.

In Luke 18, Jesus tells the disciples a story of the persistent widow who troubled a corrupt judge for justice from her adversary. Although he cared nothing for her or God's people, he obliged her because of the persistence of her prayers and her unwavering faith in his ability to bring justice.

Then Jesus says to them, “Look at what the unjust judge does. Will not our just God defend and protect His elect, those who cry to Him day and night?” As Faith Believers, we can be certain of God's promises to deliver justice. But will He find us in persistent prayer and unwavering in our faith in His ability to bring justice?

Thank God for what you have.

Trust in God's Peace & Justice during Difficult Times (7.13.15)

Faith Believers,

In his wondrous song, Moses declared, A faithful GOD who does no wrong, upright and just is He - Deuteronomy 32:4. Let's think about that for a while. The fact that GOD is just, can provide you with peace when you are witnessing painful injustice. 

You can have the confidence that GOD’s justice 

will ultimately prevail, and that evil will be dealt with one day.   

When we trust and have faith that our GOD is just, we will be able have peace in times when the enemy attacks. While satan tries to destroy, GOD lifts us up and sets our feet upon a solid Rock - Jesus, our peace maker. 

So be encouraged with these truths: GOD sees and knows everything, and in all things GOD works for the good of those who love Him - Romans 8:28. 

The enemy is not doing anything to you that GOD cannot undo. 

The Lord has all power and control; 

and those who feet are swift to run and commit evils 

will have to answer to the Lord for their actions, 

if they do not repent.

Let Our Difficult Times, Triumphs & Faith be a Testimony to Help & Uplift Others (7.9.15)

Faith Believers,
Let us focus on Joseph’s trial in Genesis. His jealous brothers bound him and left him to die. He was sold into slavery, but lived. GOD eventually raised Joseph up to be second only to the King, and just when his brothers needed him the most, during a time of famine. Because of Joseph’s wise reliance and trust in GOD, Egypt had obediently stored grain away in advance.

People ask why bad things happen to good people, or to be more precisely, believers. Yes, it is because of free will in a fallen, broken world. Tragedy may teach us to depend more on Him. But this part of Psalm 105 gives another reason. Perhaps, it is because someone else will go through something similar. Through our triumph and faith, we can help release their bounds and bind them to GOD's love.

When tragedy hits us, we may feel bound by circumstances and shackled by tragedy. But if we stay in His Word and trust GOD enough to listen to Him; we will make it through and the lessons we learn during that time will be stored up inside us.

GOD knows there will someday be someone experiencing the same tragedy. He may prompt us to be there to help someone through their famine of hurt, anger, doubt and loss. We can be the nourishment they need, because GOD has stored it up in us.

Preparing us for just that time.

Dear Lord,

We are bound to experience  
unfairness in our lives. 

Teach us that You
can turn evil happenings, 
into good results.

Use us, and our experiences, 
to draw close to You;
 so we can then be free 
to draw others as well.

Be Thou Faithful, Keep Your Hand to the Plough & Do What God has Called You to Do (7.8.15)

Do not be surprised at the battle coming against you.
The enemy is attacking your mind, and this is not a natural battle;
therefore, do not try to fight it in your natural strength.

Fight it in the Spirit; for it is a spiritual attack against your thinking patterns.
It is an attack designed to produce fear and anxiety in your life.
This attack is designed to move you to try to take care of yourself,
instead of trusting Me to take care of you.
Be thou faithful and trust Me.

If you try to fight this battle in the natural, you will not overcome,
because this is a battle in the Spirit.
You cannot change your thinking patterns through your own strength.
You cannot eliminate your fear without surrendering your mind to Me.

Allow Me to renew your mind and a right Spirit within you.
Be thou faithful and trust in Me to keep My Word.
Be thou faithful, keep your hand to the plough,
and do what I have called you to do.

Do not stop My Kingdom's Work to store up for yourself.
Just as My Son was about His Father’s business, I want you to be about taking care
of My Kingdom, and I will take care of you.

Be thou faithful and fear not.  For I am with you, always.

My heart is for those whose hearts are for Me.

Speaking Faith Fillled Words. It's Time. (7.7.15)

My Child,
It is time to put on the mind of Christ.  To stop thinking about what "feels" right or good, and to start focusing on My Will. It's time to let go of the past.  Take hold of the future and the plans I have for you. It's time to stop thinking of yourself as a victim, and start focusing on what My Word says, and do it.

Oh My Child, it’s time to let this mind be in you and stop neglecting the faith you should have in Me.

It’s time to stop throwing pity parties. The only purpose they serve is to bring you deeper into despair, and cause your focus to be on the things that have gone wrong in your life.

It's time to start having praise sessions. 
It's time to start celebrating the blessings in your life.
It's time to rejoice over the tests that turned into testimonies. 
It's time to rejoice and celebrate the victories we won.

Oh, I know it might "feel" right to give up because you don’t see anything happening, but is it My Will for you to give up and allow the enemy to win? No it's not!!  Because giving up means that you have absolutely no faith in Me to do what I promised.  When you don’t have faith in Me, it is impossible to please Me; and if you are not pleasing Me, then you are giving glory to the enemy.  Why would you want to glorify someone who steals from you and delights in destroying your life?

My Child, it’s time to stop speaking out of your flesh, and start speaking faith-filled words.

Remember, whatever you confess, whatever is consuming your mind - that is what you shall receive. Therefore, if you choose to continue to dwell upon what you don’t have, and confess the wrong words; you will fill your life with everything you don’t want.  My child, stop allowing the enemy to make you feel like a victim, and let this mind, My Mind, be in you so that your life will be filled with My blessings.

 

Meditate on His Word
Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
 
1 Corinthians 2:16 - For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

God is Proud! Stand on His Word, Stand Your Ground & Push Through (7.6.15)

My Child,
Do not despair when trials and tribulations
seem to overcome you and create chaos.
 
Because out of the chaos, I will establish order in your life.

I see the great effort you have put forth
to break through these attacks
the enemy has launched against you.

Stand on My Word and push through.
I am so proud of you for standing your ground.

I know the enemy is doing all he can to keep you from moving forward....  But do not despair.  Every single word he is whispering into your ear has, and always will be, a lie.

Do not give up and do not despair.
                                                          
The only thing that will stop the blessing I have for you is you. 

If you stop believing and trusting in My promises, you will miss the blessing.
Put the enemy under your feet.
I have given you the authority over the enemy, so use it.

Rebuke him in the name of Jesus!!!!
Lift up your voice and speak faith over the situation.

Do not give up, My Child, and do not despair!

Dear Heavenly Father, 

I will not give up! 

I will press my way through this storm and hold on. 

I know that what I am going through will pass,
just like all other storms.

knowing that you have my back.

Understanding the Importance of Patience (7.5.15)

My Child, 

I have been patient with you in many things,
now I ask you to be patient with Me.

I am more than able to bless you with what you’ve asked for; however, it is My desire for you to grow in wisdom and love, and to understand the importance of patience, before you receive your blessing. When you allow patience to work fully in your life, it will help you to realize that I have a greater blessing waiting for you.

Patience allows you to see things that you cannot see without it. Patience is the key to waiting on Me and receiving a greater blessing.  My child, be patient and wait upon Me with humility of heart and tenderheartedness.  And while you are patiently waiting, demonstrate your love for Me, and let it be seen.

Let the work that I am doing in your life shine through you
and to spill into the lives of others.
Spending time in My presence will empower you to do that.

I know patience tries the heart; therefore, learn to love patience, in the same way that you love good attributes. Let the fruit of patience overflow in your heart and draw you into My presence. And if you need more patience to wait for your blessing, just think about the times I extended mercy and grace to you while I patiently waited for you to surrender all to Me. 

When you reflect upon the many times this happened,
you will realize that your wait has not been that long.

Good things are coming.
Be patient and wait for Me.

Hebrews 10:36 - For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of GOD, ye might receive the promise.
 
Hebrews 12:1 - Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
 
James1:4 - But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 

Showing Everyone Unconditional Love (7.4.15)

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. - Luke 5:44-45

Faith Believers,

Jesus want us to not only love, but to love unconditionally.

To care for, and show kindness, to people we like and dislike.  

Those who love us back, and those who treat us unfairly or cruelly.  

The same passage in Luke goes on to say “If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?  And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others?  Do not even pagans do that?”  By contrast, GOD lets everyone enjoy the warmth of His sun, that life-giving, life-enabling source of energy and joy. 

It may not seem fair, but that’s how GOD works.

Do you ever find yourself withholding love or rewards from people
because you don’t like them? 

Have you ever wondered what it might be like to show kindness
to people who are your enemies?

GOD said to love your enemies and do good to those
that hate you and despise you. 

He will repay evil, said the Lord.

When everything around you is chaotic,
and you can’t make sense of why it’s happening,
take your hands off the situation, give it to Me and rest.

Stop stressing over the situation and rest.
Rest in faith and allow Me to bring what you can’t, to completion.

I will lead you into the peace that is needed to calm the storm.
Let Me relieve you of your burdens.
And I will do what you cannot do.

I am your place of safety, your refuge in times of trouble,
but you must rest in faith.

Allow the peace that I provide to assure you that all is well.
So, remember this the next time things are beyond your ability to perform.

knowing that it all is in My hands.

Psalm 91:2 - I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Thanking God for the Closed Doors (7.2.15)

Faith Believers,
We need to learn to thank the Lord for closed doors, as we do an open door.

The reason GOD closes doors is because He has not prepared anything over there for us. If He didn't close the wrong door, we would never find our way to the right door. Even when we don't realize it, GOD directs our paths through the closing and opening of doors.

When one door closes, it forces us to change our course. Then another door closes, and it forces us to change our course yet again. Then finally, we find the open door, and we walk right into our blessing. But instead of praising GOD for the closed door (which kept us out of trouble), we get upset because we judged by the appearances of the door that was not good for us. Sometimes in our own arrogance or ignorance, we insist that we know what is right.

We have a very Present Help in the time of need, who is always standing guard. Because He walks ahead of us, He can see trouble down the road and He sets up roadblocks and detours accordingly.

But through our lack of wisdom, we try to tear down the roadblocks or push aside the detour signs. Then the minute we get into trouble, we start crying "Lord how could this happen to me?"

We have to realize that the closed door was a blessing.
Didn't He say "No good thing will He withhold, from them that love Him?"

Trust in the Lord's decision
when He closes a door
that you thought should be open.

 

God Loves You (7.1.15)

My Child,

Do you know how much I love you?
And how precious you are to Me?

I love you so much that I know the very number of hairs that are on your head.  And each time that you brush or comb your hair, I know when the count changes. I keep track of every hair, because that’s how precious you are to Me. Therefore, do not allow the lies of the enemy to deceive you and cause you to think that I don’t care about you.

I know what you are going through.
It is My Love that is sustaining you.
And I do care.

My Child - I know it’s hard.  And although you may not always feel like praising Me while you are going through hard times, your actions will not affect My Love for you. I love you and care about you on the days when you don't do a single thing for My Kingdom. I love you on the days when you get so busy, that you forget to pray or read My Word. I even love you on the days when you don’t whisper My Name.

I love you, and the reason that I love you,
is because you are more precious to Me
than you can imagine.

So, come now My precious one, and allow the warmth of My love to settle over you and draw you away from the lies of the enemy. 

Come and draw near to Me and allow Me
to shower you in My goodness
and remind you just how precious you are to Me.

Allow Me to impart more of My love, peace and joy
so deep within you that you will never listen
to another lie of the enemy again.

I love you.
You are so precious to Me.
And I do care.
