Did You Say a Prayer of Thanksgiving after Jesus Answered Your Last Prayer? Don't Forget what He has Done for You... (11.30.15)

Scripture: He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done... Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?..” -  Luke 17:12-17

One day, Jesus healed 10 lepers of their disease.
As loving and kind as our Savior is,
He noticed that only one leper thanked Him.
Do you ever forget to tell God thank you?

Don’t forget what Jesus has done for you.......

Sometimes we pray for months, or years, to the Father - asking for a job, a home or a child. Year after year Elizabeth, Mary’s cousin, longed to be a mother. Finally, the blessing came and God gave her John the Baptist as her son. Her husband, Zechariah, gave God thanks and praise in this prayer: Praise the Lord, the God of Israel...And you my little son, will be called the prophet of the Most High, because you will prepare the way of the Lord. - Luke 1:68, 76.

Once we receive a blessing, we can be so involved with the gift, that we forget to thank God—just like nine of the lepers did. But “One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” - Luke 17:15.  

Each day, sit down and think about
the great things God has done for you.
Then, go back to Him and give thanks.

How do you begin your day?

I want to start my day and end my day with appreciation and thanksgiving to the Lord Jesus. Ephesians 5:20 tells us to “...give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Do you add praise to your thanksgiving prayer?

When God does amazing things,
it reminds us of how great He is.

When that happens, we can add praise to our thanksgiving. A great prayer of praise and thanksgiving is Mary’s song of praise. Mary, an ordinary woman, was scorned by many as she carried Jesus in her womb. Though her situation was not ordinary, she gave thanksgiving and praise to the Lord by saying: “Oh, how my soul praises the Lord. How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! For He took notice of His lowly servant girl...generations will call me blessed. For the Mighty One is holy, and He has done great things for me.” - Luke 1:46-49

You have Come too Far to Settle for Just Anything (11.29.15)

My Child,
Why do you look to others for what you need?
Didn’t I tell you that I would supply your every need
according to My riches in glory?

Didn’t you believe Me?

Then, why do you continue to ask them to supply your needs?
You are My Righteous One.  You do not have to beg them.
The righteous will never be forsaken or have to beg.
Yet, you go to them, and you continue to allow them to use you.

They do not know what you need, I do.
What you need, they cannot supply.
Oh, they may try to fulfill your needs, but they will only fail you.
They will forsake you.

Wait and allow Me to supply your needs.
You have come too far to settle for just anything.

I only want good and perfect for you.
Let Me give you My best.

Will you wait for Me?
I waited for you.

Jesus Authorizes Us to Use His Name in Prayer - John 16:14 (11.28.15)

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete - John 16:14

Faith Believers,
By offering to let us pray in His Name, Jesus is offering an amazingly great privilege. It’s as if He is giving us blank checks to be drawn on His account, knowing we will use them for His honor and His advantage.

Jesus is demonstrating great trust in us. He is trusting that His honor and His interests are safe in our hands. Consider what it would mean to place your estate in the hands of another person: your credit cards, your home, your investments, your car, your responsibilities, everything. You’d pick that person very carefully, wouldn’t you? You’d really be giving that person control over your life and your future.

That is essentially what Jesus did when He authorized us to use His Name in prayer. He gave us authority over His accounts. He asked us to exercise control over His estate – the Kingdom of GOD.

We exercise our authority by prayer. By prayer, we ask the Father for all we need, in order to do the job. By prayer,
we ask GOD to deal with demonic forces contrary to His will. By prayer, we direct GOD’s grace and power to strategic locations where it is needed.

The Father so loves the Son that when we introduce the Son’s name in prayer, we have Our Father's ear, we have secured His willingness, and we have touched His Heart.

It is such a mystery that You have given us authority
to seek the heart of the Father in Your Name.

It awes me that this divine partnership touches
people and situations all over the earth
and accomplishes Your purposes.

A Thanksgiving Day Prayer (11.26.15)

Heavenly Father,
I want to thank you for all the blessings
You have bestowed upon me and my family.

Right now, in the name of Jesus, I plead the blood of Jesus
over all of my family members as we gather together on this day. 

So many things could have gone wrong today,
which could have prevented us gathering together;
but Your Love brought us together, to give thanks
for all that You have blessed us with, and Lord,
we are grateful for Your mercy.

Father, I pray that as we stand here together,
that You will touch each of our hearts and
draw us together to work out our differences.

Let us celebrate this day together,
as we love and care for one another,
as Your Word says we should.

You have been good to us, and I pray that You will continue
to bless and keep our family during this time of so much evil. 

Continue to bless us Lord, as we celebrate this Thanksgiving day
and let us not forget that everything we own
has been given to us as a blessing by You.

Continue to bless and keep us as we give You
praise and thanksgiving on this day and everyday.
May our family be covered in the blood of Jesus forever

Your Faith is being Tested. Trust in God. (11.25.15)

My Child,
Your faith is being tested.
Some things you have desired have not materialized.

And yet you have seen Me work miracles in the lives of those around you.  What could possibly happen that I do not have control over?  Have you ever thought how foolish it is to worry about what you cannot control?

I say unto you, put your faith in Me because all of creation is in My Hands.

I Am the beginning and the end of all things.  I have power over  every person, trial and everything in this world - both above and beneath.  I can never fail you, nor will I ever forsake you.

My Love for you is an everlasting commitment
to protect you and provide for you, throughout all eternity.

I invite you to test Me, and see if you find Me to be true to My Word.
I Am GOD, not man that I should lie.
So I say to you again,  "Why are you worrying?

A "Plea to Strengthen Me & Increase My Faith" Prayer (11.24.15)

Heavenly Father,       
Your Word says that without faith it’s impossible to please You,
and Lord my sincerest desire is to please You,
to hear You tell me at the end of my time,
“Well done, My good and faithful servant.”

I know that unless I am living by faith,
it is impossible to please You.

I come before You this day with this request: Oh Lord, increase my faith!

Instill within me confidence to know that You are able, and willing, to intervene in my life every day. Strengthen me, so I can continue, fervently in prayer, while renewing my faith - making it stronger and stronger each day.

Let us Pray:

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of GOD.
Holy Spirit please speak to my heart the faith creating Words of GOD.
Open my eyes to comprehend the depths of Your Word, Father God
and open my ears to recognize Your Voice as you speak to my soul.

A Focused, Prayerful, "Prayer-filled" Prayer (11.23.15)

Father, Jehovah,
You are a GOD of order and purpose.
You desire Your people to seek to do Your will
and fulfill Your kingdom plans, but yet many times
we are focused on our own needs and concerns.

Father help us to be about doing Your business.
While we seek to do Your will, keep and protect us
from the evil one, by the power of Your Son's Name, Jesus Christ.

May we, Your children, be united together with one mind
and one heart, so that You alone receive glory!

Father, I also ask in the matchless name of Jesus that
You make me aware of the plans and schemes of the enemy,

A Recommitment Prayer (11.21.15)

Father GOD,
Thank you for waking me up this morning to see another day.

GOD you are the beginning and end of all things,
the Alpha and the Omega.

Father, I thank You for loving me - regardless of my faults.
Father you have kept me in Your Mind since the beginning of the world,
and will continue to hold me close to You when this world passes away.

I confess the times when I have allowed my needs
to become the beginning and end of my existence.

Starting today Lord, I will commit myself to giving You
the highest place in my life and in my heart.

Father GOD, reveal your glory to me, so that
I cannot help but praise You with my whole heart.

Strengthen me, so that I will always be about Your Agenda and not mine.
Help me, to share the Word of GOD with others; so that those
who choose to follow You, will know that regardless
of what they are going through, You hold All Power in your Hands
to change their situation - if they will only Believe.

Help me Father to love those who are choosing
to do the work of the enemy, thinking that
their wicked deeds are unknown and unseen to You.

You are forever present.  An all seeing and all knowing GOD!
Father, Your Word said that no deed will be overlooked - good or bad.
You said that You will repay all deeds, whether good or bad.

Remind me, through the Holy Spirit, to share
the Word of GOD with someone today.

I thank you Lord for everything that You
have done in my life and in the lives of my loved ones.

Take Every Thought Captive to the Blessings You Have, Dwell Not on Your "Failures" (11.20.15)

My Child,
Why are you focusing on your failures?
Why are you trying to find a reason to give up,
just short of receiving your blessings?

Do not allow your mind to dwell too long on the mistakes made.  Yes, it is okay to recognize failure and learn from it; but it must be done quickly, or you will continue to relive the experience over and over.   Recognize what went wrong, repent, and then cast down any thought that is not of Me.

Take every thought captive to the blessings that you have.

If you don’t, you will become what you focus on the most.
You are not a failure, so why continue to think about the mistakes?
You are more than a conqueror; therefore, think about the blessings.
Think about the victories we have won.

I do not condemn you Child, so stop condemning yourself.
Let your mind be on heavenly things.
Think back on past blessings, and the joy they brought you.

Let your focus be on who you are in Christ Jesus.
Focus on Me and the times that I've brought victory,
in the midst of what you thought was an impossible situation. 

Yes, think about that, and how you testified to My goodness and mercy. 
Think about those things. 

My Child, count your blessings, not your failures.
You are not a failure; therefore, focus on your blessings,
no matter how small..... 

And watch what happens.
