Know that God is Right there with You. You Must Keep Going. (4.30.15)

My Child,
You have felt like your work is in vain, and that you are not getting anywhere. You feel like you have been working the same spot over and over; and still you do not see a change. Know that I am right there with you, and know that none of your work has been in vain.

I have been there all along, and as you have put your hand to the task faithfully, I have been working behind the scenes.  I just need you to keep working, and to keep trusting in Me - knowing that the rains are near and that the many seeds you  planted will blossom.

My blessing is upon you and nothing can stop that.  You must never forget that I am the one who makes everything come together for your good. Just keep on pushing forward in My love and keep on trusting in My power.  I have you in My Hand, and I want you to know that nothing has been in vain, so you must keep going.

Not one moment has been wasted.

You must keep going.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:

Psalm 9:10 - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Hebrews 10:35 - Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

I Am With You; For I have Called & Anointed You for Great Things (4.29.15)

My Child,
You have been distressed lately and suffering in silence.

However, through your pain and tears, you are still crying out for more of Me.
My child, I’ve heard you, and I am going to honor your request.
I will fill those empty places in your life with more of Me than ever before.
There is nothing greater you can ask for than to have more of Me in your life.

Dear child, I called you and anointed you for great things.

However, you have allowed thoughts from the past to come in and linger in your mind. The enemy is using those thoughts to torment and hinder you from moving forward.  This is why you’ve been suffering in silence.

My child, fret no more, for I am with you;
and I have given you the power to stop the works of the enemy.
If you use My name to bind and cast out what the enemy is trying to do,
I will raise up a standard against the evil one;
and he will not harm you anymore.

Long ago, I placed My Words in your heart,
and it is time that you speak them forth by faith.

Speak forth My Words continually and they will destroy
the stronghold of the enemy coming against you.

Speak forth all that I have given you.
Speak forth all that I have shown you, and you will cause the enemy to flee.
For he cannot stand the Word of the Lord.

And, My child, stop worrying about
whether you are in the right place - for you are.

I have placed you exactly where you need to be.
And I have you doing what needs to be done during this season.
My precious child, I adore you, I am so proud of you.
And I am with you

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
1 Samuel 12:24 - Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Isaiah 59:19 - So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Haggai 1:13 - Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the LORD'S message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.

Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Cultivating the Soil of Our Hearts, to Produce Good Fruit (4.28.15)

Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruit. - Matthew 7:17-18

Faith Believers,
What type of example do you set when faced with difficulties and turmoil?

Jesus used the example of fruit trees when he said, You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? - Matthew 7:16

What kind of fruit are you bearing? Cherry trees all look similar until the cherries are ripe. Only then can you tell a sweet cherry from a sour cherry. The tree itself doesn’t decide what kind of fruit to bear; the type of species determines what is produced. In the same way, our fruit shows what is inside of us - our inner character, as it were.

Several years ago I accepted the challenge to look for three things each day to be thankful for. Regardless of what the day holds, there are always things that I can thank GOD for. I make a conscious choice to look to my Heavenly Father, the giver of all good gifts, and trust that He will indeed work it all together for my good.

In that way, I cultivate the soil of my heart, which in turn produces the fruit that the world sees when they look at my life.

As we go through our daily lives, are we allowing the Holy Spirit to work His fruit in our lives? Does how we live show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control toward others? Or do we act out in anger, frustration and bitterness when the pressures and stresses of life are applied?
_________

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that Your Holy Spirit is at work in my life
and that He can produce His fruit in me.

Help me to choose daily to give thanks,
to rejoice always and to cultivate
the soil of my heart;

so that I can respond in love and understanding
when things become  unraveled and stressed.

Amen.

Though We May Fail to Pray & Spend Time with God (4.27.15)

When He rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, He found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow. ‘Why are you sleeping?’ He asked them. ‘Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.’ - Luke 22:45-46

Faith Believers,
Do you often say to GOD, “This week will be different; I’ll spend more time reading the Bible, more time in prayer, more time in thankful meditation.  I promise!!”

But despite our intentions, after a few days we revert back to our old ways. We let things like sleep, television, and the Internet creep into the time we had intentionally put aside for GOD. This pattern repeats itself endlessly.  Many of us have struggled with praying and reading the Bible, ever since we first decided to follow Jesus. Even though we know better, and even though we know that praying and spending time with GOD is necessary for our spiritual growth - we still neglect them. We fail constantly.
As we read about Jesus’ disciples who fell asleep when they were supposed to be praying, we should find a small bit of comfort. At least we are not alone in our failings. When Jesus found the disciples in their unconscious state, I can just imagine the disappointment in His voice and how He felt. Here He was in anguish, moments before His arrest, His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground - Luke 22:44. And His disciples were sleeping. They failed to follow Jesus words. They failed to pray.

But the story doesn’t end there. Though Jesus expected more from His disciples in that moment, He still chose to use them to spread His message of hope to the world. And though we may disappoint Jesus time and time again, He has limitless compassion and grace for us. And He will still choose to use us as His representatives on earth.

What an amazing GOD we serve!!
__________

Dear Jesus,
Forgive me when I neglect to spend time with You.
I pray that You would give me the discipline
and the desire, to grow in my relationship with You.

Thank You, that despite the times when I fail,
You still choose me to be an agent of Your kingdom,

a messenger of light to this world.

Amen.

Putting on God's Armor Daily, Alert to the Battle (4.26.15)

But thanks be to GOD! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15:57

Faith Believers,
When I put on GOD’s armor daily,
I am reminded that I am in a battle.

I am aware that I will have to face the plots and schemes of satan, and his helpers, this day. But I am confident and assured that I will follow the Commander-in-Chief, who is Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Jesus has provided both victory and protection for me, in the midst of the day’s struggles. Jesus has given me His very own armor.

So with great joy, I pray.  Gratefully accepting and clothing myself with His armor. Alert to the battle, and prepared through prayer, I move through the day’s battles.  Not with fear, but with confidence, in my Lord’s victory.

GOD will give His children victory
over anything satan may try to bring against them.
  - Marilyn
______
Lord,
Today, I thank You for Your armor.

In faith now, I put Your armor on,
that I will be fully clothed with You, Lord Jesus,
as I take my stand against the enemy.

I submit myself fully to You, Lord,
resisting the devil, and
believing Your Word, that he will flee from me.

Thank You for the victory You provide daily
on my behalf.

In Your name, Jesus Christ I pray.

Amen

In Your Darkest Hour (4.25.15)

My Child,
I know the season you’re in, and although you may see little evidence of anything wonderful happening, never forget the good things I’ve done for you. Forget not My tender mercies. Haven’t I always been there in your time of need? How soon you forget My love when your way seems dark. However, in your darkest hour, don’t you know that I am with you? I am shining a light on the blessings you may have overlooked.

I am always there.

Please reflect upon My mercy and goodness, for they will lead you through the valley, into a brighter, new day. Remember that My mercy and My love are unending towards you, so be at peace, and know that this difficulty will pass. Never stop praying, and believing, for the impossible to happen in your life. Keep your hope in Me alive, and constantly remember My loving kindness and mercy towards you.

Jesus Christ Truly is the Only Way! (4.24.15)

Jesus is the Son of GOD.
He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross, to pay the penalty for our sins.

GOD demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. - Romans 5:6-10.  Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with GOD His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life, of living forever with Him in heaven, if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me. - John 14:6.

GOD reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His Child.

As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of GOD, even to those who believe on His name. - John 1:12.  You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins, and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior. There is no other GOD, regardless of what the world may say. Jehovah is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. When we leave this world, we will stand before Him and give an account for our lives.

His word says every knee will bow,
and every mouth will confess,
that Jesus Christ is Lord.

He truly is the only way!

How are you doing in "The Battle?" Ephesians 6:12 (4.23.15)

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds - 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Faith Believers,
Occasionally I run into people who will say something like this - “Well, it’s okay for you to teach on spiritual warfare, but I’m just not into that sort of thing.” It doesn’t matter whether you are “into” spiritual warfare or not; the only issue is, “How are you doing in the battle?  Are you winning or losing?”

We don’t get to vote on this. It’s not a game where you can take your ball and go home. GOD’s Word is clear, For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. - Ephesians 6:12.

Spiritual warfare is a reality that must be faced! It won’t go away. It is time to prepare ourselves to wage war, not as the world does, but with the weapons provided by the Spirit of GOD.

Father,

I thank You for the truth and clarity of Your Word
regarding the issues of spiritual warfare.

Help me to walk in Your Truth,
and to not go beyond Your Word.

As I study spiritual warfare, I pray for protection
from any attempt of Satan to swing me
to one extreme or the other.

Fill me with an even greater passion for Your Kingdom.
Thank You for delivering me from the kingdom of darkness,
into Your wonderful Kingdom of Light.

Amen

Wait on the Lord (4.22.15)

My Child,
You have so much going on that you are about to make a big mistake. You are not sure what to do, and when you’re not sure, it is best that you wait on Me. There’s no need for you to rush, for that will only cause more problems.  Step back from everything and get a fresh perspective. There is time for what must be done. I did not put a time limit on you, you did this to yourself, and now you’ve become anxious.

I know that you just want to "get it behind you." However, if you don’t wait for the right timing, you will spend more time backtracking and correcting your mistakes.  Please seek Me for wisdom. I able and willing to provide you with guidance on what needs to be done.  And when it should be done. I know your beginning, and I know your ending. Therefore, wait for Me. Wait for My timing. Oh, I know you don’t like to wait, but there is a special blessing that follows those who wait on the Lord.

Meditate on My Word:
Psalms 27:13-14 - I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Isaiah 30:15 - For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

Isaiah 30:18 - And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a GOD of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

Watch & Pray - Matthew 26:41 (4.21.15)

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak - Matthew 26:41

Faith Believers,
Prayer is the Lord’s way of protecting us from the enemy.

If we are do not keep our mind clear, and exercise self-control; we can, and will, easily fall into the traps that satan sets for us. In the last days, it is important that we pray and be watchful! Teach your children how easily sins such as anger and unforgiveness (Mark 11:25) can hinder our prayers.

Pray for your family, day and night, because the enemy is working non-stop to devour whomever he can. Watch and pray!  Pray for one another, always asking to the Lord to open your eyes to the schemes of the wicked one.  satan knows that he has been defeated, and that his time on this earth is short, so he is willing to do anything to keep as many people as possible out of the kingdom of GOD; but rebuke him and he will flee.
- Marilyn
___________

Father God,

You are very clear,
that we should be on our guard
against the temptations and tricks
of the enemy.

Help us to watch and pray,
so that we are prepared to stand firm
when he attempts to keep us
from focusing on You.

Thank you Lord
for your protection and love.

Amen

Being Concerned with the Words that Flow Out of My Mouth (4.20.15)

The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks. - Luke 6:45

Have you ever turned on the tap, only to find brown water flowing into your bathroom sink? When this happens, we are ready to declare a natural disaster and evacuate. This “family state of emergency” lasts until the water comes out clear again. Why? Brown water is disgusting. We don’t want it in our bodies, never mind in our pipes. If only I would be as concerned with the words that flow out of my mouth!

According to Jesus, what we say flows from deep within. Our mouths are like faucets, out of which flows good or evil, depending on the condition of our hearts. Sometimes we think we can clean up the way we talk, without addressing the heart problem. But that’s kind of like trying to purify water, after it comes out of the tap. The real problem is deep within the pipes. Similarly, the problem of sinful speech - like gossip, slander, grumbling, and lying - can only be fixed by repairing the heart. So there’s good news & bad news.  The bad news is, we can’t change our hearts. But the good news is that Jesus can.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. - Ezekiel 36:26

This heart transplant is something only GOD can do.
Turning from sin and trusting in Jesus is what we are called to do.
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart
will flow rivers of living water. -  John 7:38 (ESV)

Having a new heart doesn’t mean it will always produce what’s pure, because we are still sinners. But I’m a sinner who has been saved by grace, to speak in a new way that edifies others, and glorifies GOD.

What’s been flowing out of your mouth lately?

Lord Jesus,
Forgive me for the sinful words
that I have spoken.

Change my heart by Your Holy Spirit,
so that what I say brings good to others
and glory to You.

Amen.

Prayer doesn't Start with Us, Prayer Starts with God (4.19.15)

"The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accord with GOD’s will - Romans 8:26-27

Faith Believers,
I want to share a thought. It has transformed my way of praying and my way of thinking about prayer.

For years, I believed that my prayers started with me. I had to think them up. I had to get GOD’s attention somehow. With this frame of mind, prayer was often a chore.

The Lord told me I was wrong. Prayer doesn’t start with us. Prayer starts with GOD. When GOD revealed this to me, my prayer life changed.

GOD is the initiator. He moves us to pray on things that are His will for our life. He gives us prayer ideas. He will give us the things we ask for in prayer, if we will only believe. When we pray for others, sometimes GOD will use us as an instrument to bring forth the things asked for in prayer.

GOD makes His Will known to us,
so that we will ask for the very things
He longs to give us.

Out of love, He want us to pray for others as well;
so that, in response to our intercession,
He can pour out blessings on them.

 ~  An Intercessory Prayer  ~

Father,

Thank You for pouring into my spirit
the things you want me to pray for,
so you can bless me as I pray for these things.

Lord, show me how to pray to You
and help me to hear Your small still voice,
as you speak to me.

Help me to become strong in prayer
and help me to pray for others as well;
so that you will bless them and give them
the desires of their heart.

Help me to pray through my weakness

with the guidance of Your Spirit.

May I continually remember, that it is
not my will to be done; but thy will Lord.

In the name of Jesus I pray.
Amen

The Believer's "Walk" is to be Filled with Joy (4.18.15)

The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart… - Psalm 19:8

Faith Believers,
Jesus wants your heart to be filled with joy!

He desires you to rejoice and be glad,
as you follow His precepts and obey His Word.

It is not His plan for you to be downcast,
defeated, depressed or anxious about anything.

The believer’s walk is to be pure and blameless,
and regardless of circumstances, it is to be joy-filled.

Has your joy been stolen from you by the enemy?

Ask the Lord of joy to draw your heart back into
a continual season of rejoicing!
_________

Righteous Father,

Your precepts bring joy to my heart.

When I am feeling defeated or anxious,
would You prompt Your Spirit to remind me
that I can live a joy-filled life;
despite anything the devil throws at me?

I want others to see Your life, lived out in me,
because joy is what draws people to You.

I want my life of rejoicing to be a light
to those who have given in
to desperation and hopelessness.

Set me firmly Lord God, on a joyful path.

 Amen

Stand & Walk in God's Word. For He has a Will for Your Life. (4.17.15)

My Child,
Do not look at things, and judge your circumstances,
by the way things appear to be in the present.

I have told you that things are not always what they appear to be. The enemy is trying to rob you of My Truth. He wants you to be discouraged with the way things appear to be.

Do not let him do that to you.
You are better than that.

I want you to stand on My Word, trust Me, and walk it out by faith. I want you to rise up, and tear down, the strongholds built up by the enemy. Do not allow your circumstances to overcome you.

I tell you this day to look to My Word.
Live through My Word.
That is the only way you will make it.

My Child, there is no other way for you. I am giving you a fresh start, so that you may dive into My Word, and see all My promises that I have for you. I want you to rise up and say "NO MORE" to the enemy. he is out to steal, kill, and destroy that which I began in you. You must not allow that to happen. Resist the enemy, stand on My Word, and he will have to flee.

If you want Me to bless you, then stand.

If you see it in My Word,
then it is My will for your life,
and do not accept anything less.
Stand. Stand. Stand on My Word!

Yes, I promised that you would prosper and be in good health; even as your soul prospers in Me. I watch over My Word and it will never return void.

Do not look back at your failures.
Do not even think about them anymore.
Trust in My Word and only look to Me.
No longer focus on what the enemy has done.

Look to Me and trust Me.
Stand behind your shield,
and use your sword to defeat the enemy.
Allow Me to wipe out the enemy from your life.

Do not allow the enemy to rob you anymore.

Walk in My Word.

Meditate on My Word - Isaiah 43:19

_______

My Prayer Confession

Lord Jesus!
I praise Your Holy Name!
I have been given a fresh start.
No longer am I bound by the mistakes of my past.

Thank You Jesus and thank you Father God,
 for setting me free!

Amen!

You are Always on God's Mind (4.15.15)

Psalms 139:17-18 - How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning, you are still with me. (NLT)

My Child,
I know you’re feeling like I don’t care;
that I’ve forgotten about your needs,
and that I have more important things on My mind.

My child, I created you in My image, you are a part of Me.
You are My most important creation.
Oh Precious One, you’re feeling this way, because you don’t think about Me as much as you should. These thoughts and feelings of abandonment will rise up when you allow the problems of life to overrule the promises of the King.

My Child, no matter what you see going on in this world; I want you to know you are always on My mind. You are on My mind when I close your eyes at night. You are on My mind throughout the night, for I am watching over you as you sleep.  And in the morning, I am the One who wakes you up, with brand new mercies waiting for you.

You are on My mind when you leave your house each day. I am the One who guides you safely to and from your daily destinations. You are on My mind as I watch over you on your job, giving you favor with those in authority over you. You are on My mind when you’re at school, for it is I, providing the wisdom needed to help you achieve. Can’t you see that you are constantly on My mind?

Now, can I ask you to think about Me this day? Can I ask you to lay aside the cares of this world, and spend some time thinking about Me? Think about Me and take time to pray before you leave your house. Think about Me and how I am watching over your home while you’re away. Think about Me as you’re driving; think about the traveling mercy that surrounds you to keep you safe.

Think about Me as you go about your daily work, and the unmerited favor that’s raining down upon you, blessing your life. Then, before you lie down; take some time to think about Me once more, and humble yourself in prayer, giving thanks for another blessed day. If you do this each and every day, you will never again doubt whether I’m thinking about you.

For you are always on My mind.

Isaiah 26:3 - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Philippians 4:7-8 - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Let Everything that has Breath, Praise the Lord!! (4.14.15)

A reminder to PRAISE GOD IN ALL TIMES - Marilyn

My Child,
It is time for you let go of all that has been holding you down,
and enter into a season of praise.
Lift up your voice to Me, for I inhabit your praises.
Put on a garment of praise for the spirit heaviness.

Yes, when My people praise Me, I am there in their midst.

Your praise is a sweet-smelling aroma to Me
and when you begin to praise Me,
it will change the atmosphere.

Your sacrifice of praise will cause things to move.

When My people give Me a sacrifice of praise, especially in times of trials and tribulation, I will strengthen them to endure through the storm.  Praise will bring you through every stronghold of the enemy. Praise is one of the keys to victory; for the enemy is scattered when you lift up My name in praise.  The enemy hates to hear the sound of praise and worship being given to Me in the midst of the storm.

Praise Me, My Child, Praise Me.

When you enter into your prayer closet to pray,
and you don't feel My presence,
begin to praise and worship Me anyway.

Just because you don’t feel My presence, it doesn’t mean that I am not there. I am there with you, listening to your heartfelt cry, filled with praise. You capture My heart with your praises, and it causes things to happen in the Spirit realm. When praises go up, blessings come down; so, praise Me in every situation.

When you are discouraged and don’t know what to pray, sing a song of praise.

Learning to praise Me is how David made it through the hard times.
David encouraged himself by praising Me.
It worked for David, and it will work for you.

Oh, My Child, you seem to have forgotten the power of praise; so, let Me remind you again. Yes, your praise brings delight to Me, but when you lift up your voice in praise, you also strengthen yourself.  Praise will strengthen you to resist the enemy, and cause him to flee. Praise will remove the spirit of heaviness and cover you with the garment of praise.

Praise will remind you that you serve a mighty GOD,
and praise will draw you closer to Me.

Oh praise the name of the Lord, so I can show you another aspect of My glory.
Come now and lift up My Name in praise.

Let everything that has breath praise Me!

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:

Job 13:15 - Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Psalm 56:4 -  In GOD I will praise his word, in GOD I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Psalm 145:2 - Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Habakkuk 3:17-18 - Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:  Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the GOD of my salvation.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Our Salvation is not Based on Works nor Merits, But on Jesus' Perfect Sacrifice (4.13.15)

My Child,
The enemy is trying to put you under condemnation for the most trivial things.  He’s trying to convince you that I have become angry and disappointed with you; and as a result, you have somehow managed to separate yourself from Me, and the love I have for you.

The distance you are feeling,
during these times of trial and tribulation,
is not coming from Me.
I would never withdraw My love from you.
It is a deception put forth by the enemy.
It is his attempt to erect a barrier between us.

He knows that if you stay close to Me, I will strengthen, encourage, and revive you.  I will draw you even closer to Me and empower you to advance My Kingdom.  That is why the enemy is always trying to beat you up over the smallest failure.

My Child, even when you are guilty of sin, it will never separate you from My love, nor can it nullify My grace and My forgiveness.  Your salvation is not based on your works or merit.  It’s based on the perfect sacrifice that My Son, Jesus Christ, made for you.  There is no force in this world that can nullify the salvation that I purchased for you.  Therefore, you may come boldly to the throne of grace for mercy, and I will receive you.

Have you not read in My Word that there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus?  My Word is true.  My blood cleanses you from your sin.  Believe the words that I have spoken to you.

Now, shut out the voice of the enemy, for it is the voice of condemnation.
I am your loving Heavenly Father, and I am not angry with you.

Do not fear, come to Me and receive My love.

Romans 8:1 - So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

1 John 1:7 - But if we are living in the light, as GOD is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

As You Step Out on Faith, Keep Your Eyes Fixed on God - For a Brighter Day Awaits (4.12.15)

My Child,
Some darkness has crept in upon you.
You feel isolated and alone at times.
This has complicated your heart.
I’m here to tell you a brighter day awaits you,
for I will shine My bright light upon you and your path.

Please listen to My words and believe.

Do you recall the things I shared with you
while you were walking through your valley?

I said to you, 'Always remember that My Light
will drive away any darkness that surrounds you,
if you would only believe in Me.'

Keep your eyes fixed on Me as you step out.
Do not look to the right or to the left,
do not be moved by the distractions of your enemy.

Follow the voice of the One
who will lead you into all truth.

A brighter day awaits you.

I have been preparing you for this time,
and it is time to step out in faith.

Do not let doubt creep in,
but move forward with steadfastness and sureness.

Step forward in great faith,
and suddenly a door will open up before you.

I say unto you, 'Look up,
for that which you have desired
draws near.'

A brighter day awaits you.

I’ve spoken to you.

Meditate on My Word,
and let Me know you were listening:

Matthew 10:27 - 2 Peter 1:19 - 1 Corinthians 16:8

Trust in God's Grace; and Never Forget that God is Our Strength, Our Help & Our Deliverer (4.10.15)

My Child,
I set before you a challenge, and you gladly accepted it.
Now, listen as I speak to you, do not turn away
because of the stumbling blocks put in your way.
Do not say, "Lord, it is too hard.  I can’t do this."

My child, I never would have placed it in your hands, if it was impossible for you to do. You must trust in My grace; for surely My grace is more than enough to see you through. Never forget who I am. I AM your Strength. I AM your Help and I Am your Deliverer.

Therefore, be encouraged, and be strengthened in Me this day. Lift your head up and know that there is nothing that I have purposed for you; that cannot be fulfilled when you put your complete trust in Me.

What I have planned for you is at the door;
the door is opening, and no man can shut it.

Only fear and doubt can shut this door and prevent you from entering in and receiving your blessings. Therefore, don’t allow fear and doubt to rule over your life. Strengthen yourself in My Word; be of good courage, rise up in the strength of the Lord and boldly press your way through.

Keep going forward, and if you stumble, get back up.

Do not allow any mistakes to stop you from entering in and receiving your blessings. And whenever you feel fearful and unsure of yourself, remember the Words I have spoken over your life and say, “I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me.” Then pray, seek My face, and I will answer you.

I will guide you every step of the way,
and then suddenly, you will receive your breakthrough.

Suddenly, it will turn around, and suddenly it shall happen.
So, be encouraged this day, be strengthened and be ready.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Deuteronomy 3:28 - But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

Daniel 10:19 - And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

Zechariah 10:12 - And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Therefore I Tell You, Do Not Worry (4.9.15)

Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life…. - Matthew 6:25

Faith Believers,
Worry and anxiety can constantly plague us.

We worry about completing our to-do lists, what our bosses or co-workers think of us, or having enough money to make it through the month. It sometimes gets to the point where we don’t feel right if we’re not worried about something.

I know people who find part of their identity in being "worriers" and who actually define themselves by it. But when we Christians do this, it seems like a major contradiction. Worry is another word for fear. And in GOD’s Word, the message is clear: do not worry (Matthew 6:25); and do not fear (Isaiah 41:10).

In 2 Timothy 2:7, Paul writes that GOD did not give us a “spirit of fear.”

So if fear is not from GOD, then it can be defeated through the work of GOD’s Spirit in us; and through the renewing of our minds in Christ. Changing our fearful minds is hard work, but the Apostle Paul challenges us to “work out our salvation” with the fear of GOD, not out of fear of the world around us (Philippians 2:12).

While our world may be full of frightening things at times, we are all works in progress. But when someone becomes a believer in Christ, that person gains the power to overcome fear. We are children of the One who created the world and everything in it. Therefore, we are co-heirs with Christ, the One who overcame the world (Romans 8:15-17; John 16:33)
     - Marilyn

Lord God,
I recognize that worry is
an attempt to control things
over which I have no control.

Fear rules in my mind
when the things and people around me
seem bigger and stronger than You.

Forgive me and help me
to switch my thinking from fear
to trust in You.

Amen.

Having Done All that You Can - Stand & Continue to Pray, with Complete Faith & Trust in God (4.8.15)

Faith Believers,
There comes a time in all our lives, when we have done all that we know to do, and we have fought as hard as we could. And now we stand helpless in the sight of a situation that we cannot change. It is at this point in our "faith walk" that we must not allow the enemy to make us believe that our prayers have fallen on deaf ears. Don’t stop standing on GOD’s Word.  Do not say, “What’s the use of praying?” and just give up.

Giving up won’t accomplish anything, except push you further into despair.

The first thing I want you to remember is this - when the opposition comes on strong, it’s because the enemy is trying and testing your faith. He’s putting thoughts of despair into your mind so you will give up, because he knows you are so close to victory. We must close our minds to his tricks of intimidation and hold fast to our profession of faith.

We must persevere in prayer and not allow the enemy
to steal the Word that GOD that has been planted in our hearts.

The second thing is this - GOD and GOD alone will bring you out of your difficulties, but only if you continue to trust Him, have faith, and continue to pray.
 - Marilyn

The Lord our God wants you to know:

My Child,
I want you to come boldly to the Throne of Grace to seek mercy; and to find grace, in order to help you in your time of need. Having done all that you can, stand and continue to pray; for the effectual fervent prayer the righteous availeth much.

Do not waver when you pray.
Do not waver in your faith.
Be strong and of good courage, knowing that I, Your Father, always hear you when you pray. Never forget that I can do great things in your life when you have complete trust and faith in Me.

Do not allow the enemy of your soul to tempt you to give up. You must live by faith, for it doesn’t bring pleasure to My soul when you do not have faith. Have faith in Me to bring to pass My Word, in your life.

Trust Me to bring increase into your life.

My Child, you have battled storms before and won; why is this one so different?
Is it because it’s lasting longer than expected?
Well, let Me tell you this - when you see your blessing,
you will understand why it lasted so long.

So continue to pray.

MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:

Luke 18:1 - And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

1 Corinthians 3:6-7 - I have planted, Apollos watered; but GOD gave the increase.  So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but GOD that giveth the increase.

Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Hebrews 10:38 - Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

1 Peter 1:7 - That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Not My Will, but Yours, Lord (4.7.15)

Father God,
I thank You that I don’t have to have
all the answers before I pray to You.

I come to You, trusting that You know all things.

I humble myself before You, Lord;
and ask You to show me how to pray,
according to Your Will.

Help me to understand that
You know and see everything.

You are the ultimate master planner over my life,
let Your Will be done in my life, always.

Not my will, but Yours, Lord.

In the name of Your Son,
Jesus Christ, I pray this prayer.

Amen

An "Easter Monday Morning" Prayer (4.6.15)

Lord God,
Make me an instrument of your peace!

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is doubt, let there be faith;
where there is despair, let there be hope;
where there is darkness, let there be light;
and where there is sadness, let there joy.

O Jehovah Shammah,
Grant that I may not seek to be consoled,
but that I may be a consoler,
to those who are going through tough trials right now.

O GOD, help those who are hurting right now,
to understand that you are the ultimate consoler;
and that there is nothing they are going through,
that you cannot change.

You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
You are the Great "I Am."
Who can stand against you Father?
No one can because you are GOD alone and there is no other.

Comfort me Lord, as I start my day,
and protect me from my enemies.

In the name of Jesus I pray.

Amen

Open Your Heart to Jesus, Love Him with All Your Heart (4.5.15)

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. - Mathew 6:21

Faith Believers,
In Matthew 26, a woman poured extremely expensive perfume all over the feet of Jesus. She was met with indignation, even disgust, by Jesus’ disciples. They provocatively asked,“Why this waste?”

It was a year’s worth of wages wrapped up in a bottle. This lavish act of love stirred criticism amongst the others, as they considered a more noble use for her perfume. They said, This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor. - Matthew 26:9.  What did this woman believe about Jesus to take such a precious commodity, and in a moment, spill it out over his feet?

When we love Jesus with all our hearts, nothing is too good for Him. And when we recognize the goodness that comes from Him — that He came to set us free from the bondage of sin and heal our brokenness, exchanging the ashes in our lives with the beauty and purity of His own — we can’t help but worship Him completely, even amidst scrutiny.

This woman knew that Jesus could offer her what the world could not, a new life with total forgiveness. Her treasure was in Jesus. Her heart was completely set upon Him.

Jesus stands at the door of our hearts and knocks.
When we open this door to Him, nothing we offer to Him is a waste.

A life lived in total surrender to God is the richest life one can ever live.

 Lord,
Give me strength and courage
to share with others
what You have done in my life.

May everything I do, say, and think
bring You glory.

Amen.
