You are Chosen to Stand in God's Name (9.30.19)

My Child,
Do not worry about those who have come against you, and who have seemingly shut you out.

Open your spiritual eyes and you will see there are more standing with you, than there are against you. I Have both seen and heard what has been done to you. I Am not hindered by their actions, and neither should you be. Do not be envious of what they are doing, for soon they will be cut down. You have been chosen to stand in My Name and do the work I Have called you to do.

So, stand in My Name.

the enemy would like you to think that the door is shut against you, but it is only an illusion. the enemy cannot shut any doors that I Have opened, nor can he open a door that I Have closed.

I AM GOD!
I Have all power!

You are to commit all that you are doing unto Me, so that you will prosper. Let Me be concerned about what the enemy is doing, I just need you to focus on Me.

Rise up, and begin walking forth once more.

Do not allow the enemy to hinder the work we have begun. You have only just begun to walk in My Name. You have only begun to see My Miracles; and I Will do more, as you speak My Word. There is so much I have yet to show you.

You are anointed and chosen before Me.

So, stand strong in the authority I Have imparted in you, to defeat the enemy standing in your way. Speak to the mountains, and go forth because the door is open. I AM with you, and I Am always right on time.

Now rise up, and do what I Have told you to do.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Read the entire book of 'Psalms 37'

Ephesians 6:13-14 - Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of GOD, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.

Blessings & Peace.... Working Things Out for Your Good (9.29.19)

My Child,
I See everything that you are going through. The enemy is trying and trying to destroy your mind and destroy the confidence you have in Me and My Word. You cannot let this happen.... Because when you let your guard down, the enemy will surely move in, destroy you and everything connected to you.

You must stand and believe that I Am GOD, all by Myself. There is nothing and there is no one I Have to compete with. All power was released by My Son, Jesus Christ, when He died on the Cross and rose (to rejoin Me) on the third day.

There is nothing going on in your life that I Am not aware of. I Will fight this battle for you, if will put your trust in Me. When the enemy tries to attack your mind, declare the battle is not yours, but it belongs to Me, the Lord.

I Am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, of everything concerning your life. I Love you and I Do wish to see you in such mental and physical turmoil; because this is the work of the enemy. I Will bless you, and keep you always; but you must declare that the battle belongs to Me, and take your hands off the situation - trusting that I Will work it out, for your good.

All things will work together for the good of those who love Me.

I Am working things out right now, as I Speak blessings and peace over your situation. Remember My Child, the battle is Mine, not yours. When the enemy comes in like a flood, declare - with all the power & authority that I gave you in your mother's womb - that "This battle belongs to you Father GOD," place it at the altar and believe that I Am going to handle everything.  And I Will, because the battle is Mine.

I Promised that I Will never leave you nor forsake you.

And I Will honor My Word.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD:
2 Chronicles 20:15 - And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but GOD's.

2 Chronicles 20:17 - Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

#ScriptureReflection - Amos 7 [NABRE] (9.28.19)

V. Symbolic Visions

First Vision: The Locust Swarm

This is what the Lord God showed me: He was forming a locust swarm when the late growth began to come up (the late growth after the king’s mowing[a]). When they had finished eating the grass in the land, I said:
Forgive, O Lord God!
    Who will raise up Jacob?
    He is so small!

The Lord relented concerning this. “This shall not be,” said the Lord God.

Second Vision: The Rain of Fire

This is what the Lord God showed me: He was summoning a rain of fire. It had devoured the great abyss and was consuming the fields. Then I said:
Cease, O Lord God!
    Who will raise up Jacob?
    He is so small!

The Lord relented concerning this. “This also shall not be,” said the Lord God.

Third Vision: The Plummet

This is what the Lord God showed me: He was standing, plummet in hand, by a wall built with a plummet. The Lord God asked me, “What do you see, Amos?” And I answered, “A plummet.”

Then the Lord said:
See, I am laying the plummet
    in the midst of my people Israel;
I will forgive them no longer.

The high places of Isaac shall be laid waste,
    and the sanctuaries of Israel made desolate;
and I will attack the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

Biographical Interlude: Amos and Amaziah

10 Amaziah, the priest of Bethel, sent word to Jeroboam, king of Israel: “Amos has conspired against you within the house of Israel; the country cannot endure all his words. 11 For this is what Amos says:
‘Jeroboam shall die by the sword,
and Israel shall surely be exiled from its land.’”

12 To Amos, Amaziah said: “Off with you, seer, flee to the land of Judah and there earn your bread by prophesying! 13 But never again prophesy in Bethel; for it is the king’s sanctuary and a royal temple.” 14 Amos answered Amaziah, “I am not a prophet,[c] nor do I belong to a company of prophets. I am a herdsman and a dresser of sycamores, 15 but the Lord took me from following the flock, and the Lord said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’ 16 Now hear the word of the Lord:
You say: ‘Do not prophesy against Israel,
do not preach against the house of Isaac.’

17 Therefore thus says the Lord:
Your wife shall become a prostitute in the city,
and your sons and daughters shall fall by the sword.
Your land shall be parcelled out by measuring line,
    and you yourself shall die in an unclean land;
and Israel shall be exiled from its land.”

#ScriptureReflection - 1 Timothy 3 [NIV] (9.27.19)

Qualifications for Overseers and Deacons

Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?) He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.

In the same way, deacons are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.
11 In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.

12
A deacon must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his household well.
13 Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.

Reasons for Paul’s Instructions

14 Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, 15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. 16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:

He appeared in the flesh,

    was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels,
    was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
    was taken up in glory.

#ScriptureReflection - Ezekiel 37:1-14 (9.26.19)

The vision of the resurrection of God’s people
The hand of the Lord came upon me, and he led me out in the spirit of the Lord and set me in the center of the plain, which was now filled with bones. He made me walk among them in every direction so that I saw how many they were on the surface of the plain. How dry they were!

He asked me: Son of man, can these bones come to life? “Lord God,” I answered, “you alone know that.” Then he said to me: Prophesy over these bones, and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: See! I will bring spirit into you, that you may come to life. I will put sinews upon you, make flesh grow over you, cover you with skin, and put spirit in you so that you may come to life and know that I am the Lord.

I prophesied as I had been told, and even as I was prophesying I heard a noise; it was a rattling as the bones came together, bone joining bone. I saw the sinews and the flesh come upon them, and the skin cover them, but there was no spirit in them. Then he said to me: Prophesy to the spirit, prophesy, son of man, and say to the spirit: Thus says the Lord God: From the four winds come, O spirit, and breathe into these slain that they may come to life.

I prophesied as he told me, and the spirit came into them; they came alive and stood upright, a vast army.

Then he said to me: Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They have been saying, “Our bones are dried up, our hope is lost, and we are cut off.” Therefore, prophesy and say to them: Thus says the Lord God: O my people, I will open your graves and have you rise from them, and bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and have you rise from them, O my people! I will put my spirit in you that you may live, and I will settle you upon your land; thus you shall know that I am the Lord. I have promised, and I will do it, says the Lord.

#ScriptureReflection - Ezra 9:5-9 [NAB] (9.25.19)

At the time of the evening sacrifice, I, Ezra, rose in my wretchedness,
and with cloak and mantle torn I fell on my knees,
stretching out my hands to the LORD, my God.

I said: "My God, I am too ashamed and confounded to raise my face to you,
O my God, for our wicked deeds are heaped up above our heads
and our guilt reaches up to heaven.
From the time of our fathers even to this day
great has been our guilt,
and for our wicked deeds we have been delivered up,
we and our kings and our priests,
to the will of the kings of foreign lands,
to the sword, to captivity, to pillage, and to disgrace,
as is the case today.

"And now, but a short time ago, mercy came to us from the LORD, our God,
who left us a remnant and gave us a stake in his holy place;
thus our God has brightened our eyes
and given us relief in our servitude.
For slaves we are, but in our servitude our God has not abandoned us;
rather, he has turned the good will
of the kings of Persia toward us.
Thus he has given us new life
to raise again the house of our God and restore its ruins,
and has granted us a fence in Judah and Jerusalem."

#ScriptureReflection - Obadiah 1 [ASV] (9.24.19)

The vision of Obadiah.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning Edom: We have heard tidings from Jehovah, and an ambassador is sent among the nations, saying, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. Behold, I have made thee small among the nations: thou art greatly despised. The pride of thy heart hath deceived thee, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? Though thou mount on high as the eagle, and though thy nest be set among the stars, I will bring thee down from thence, saith Jehovah.

If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night (how art thou cut off!), would they not steal only till they had enough? if grape-gatherers came to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? How are the things of Esau searched! how are his hidden treasures sought out! All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee on thy way, even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread lay a snare under thee: there is no understanding in him. Shall I not in that day, saith Jehovah, destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau? And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one may be cut off from the mount of Esau by slaughter.
10 For the violence done to thy brother Jacob, shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever. 11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that strangers carried away his substance, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them. 12 But look not thou on the day of thy brother in the day of his disaster, and rejoice not over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither speak proudly in the day of distress. 13 Enter not into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, look not thou on their affliction in the day of their calamity, neither lay ye hands on their substance in the day of their calamity. 14 And stand thou not in the crossway, to cut off those of his that escape; and deliver not up those of his that remain in the day of distress.

15 For the day of Jehovah is near upon all the nations: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee; thy dealing shall return upon thine own head. 16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the nations drink continually; yea, they shall drink, and swallow down, and shall be as though they had not been.

17 But in mount Zion there shall be those that escape, and it shall be holy; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. 18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall burn among them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining to the house of Esau; for Jehovah hath spoken it. 19 And they of the South shall possess the mount of Esau, and they of the lowland the Philistines; and they shall possess the field of Ephraim, and the field of Samaria; and Benjamin shall possess Gilead. 20 And the captives of this host of the children of Israel, that are among the Canaanites, shall possess even unto Zarephath; and the captives of Jerusalem, that are in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the South. 21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be Jehovah’s.

#ScriptureReflection - Haggai 1 [AMP] (9.23.19)

Haggai Begins Temple Building

In the second year of Darius the king [of Persia], on the first day of the sixth month (Aug 29, 520 b.c.), the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying, “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘These people say, “The time has not come that the Lord’s house (temple) should be rebuilt.”’” Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, “Is it time for you yourselves to live in your [expensive] paneled houses while this house [of the Lord] lies in ruins?” Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, “Consider your ways and thoughtfully reflect on your conduct! You have planted much, but you harvest little; you eat, but you do not have enough; you drink, but you do not have enough to be intoxicated; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm enough; and he who earns wages earns them just to put them in a bag with holes in it [because God has withheld His blessing].”

Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Consider your ways and thoughtfully reflect on your conduct! Go up to the hill country, bring lumber and rebuild My house (temple), that I may be pleased with it and be glorified,” says the Lord [accepting it as done for My glory]. You look for much [harvest], but it comes to little; and even when you bring that home, I blow it away. Why?” says the Lord of hosts. “Because of My house, which lies in ruins while each of you runs to his own house [eager to enjoy it]. 10 Therefore, because of you [that is, your sin and disobedience] the heavens withhold the dew and the earth withholds its produce. 11 I called for a drought on the land and the hill country, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on what the ground produces, on men, on cattle, and on all the labor of your hands.”

12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people [who had returned from exile], listened carefully and obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, since the Lord their God had sent him. And the people [reverently] feared the Lord. 13 Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, spoke the Lord’s message to the people saying, “‘I am with you,’ declares the Lord.” 14 So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God, 15 on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month (Sept 21, 520 b.c.) in the second year of Darius the king.

Be Open to New Things (9.22.19)

My Child,
Prepare to make some of the most important decisions of your life, as I Present new opportunities to you.

I Will open doors before you, and you will begin to see new prospects for your future.  You will have choices to make in the days ahead.  Ask Me for My Wisdom, seek Me for My Wisdom - with all your heart - and I Will provide.  My Wisdom will be needed, for there will be blessings coming into your life; and I Want you to be wise about what to do with them.

Do not worry about things of the past, or the things you may think that you have missed out on. I Know that past circumstances have caused you to lose confidence; however, it is time - right now - to shake off what you’ve gone through, so that you can move into the realm of blessings that I Have stored up for you. Beloved Child, it is time for you to walk in a new way.

You cannot go back to your past.  Rebuke those desires.  For they are not of Me.  I’ve caused some things to die, so that new roots can grow and manifest 'good fruit' for this time; this time that has been appointed over your life.

The time has come.
The harvest is ripe.

Be open to and yield to the new things
I Will be doing, in your life.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD:
Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?

Isaiah 27:6 - He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

Philippians 3:13 - Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of GOD, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

#ScriptureReflection - Ephesians 6:10-20 [NKJV] (9.21.19)

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

#ScriptureReflection - Job 5 [NIV] (9.20.19)

5
“Call if you will, but who will answer you?

To which of the holy ones will you turn?
Resentment kills a fool,
    and envy slays the simple.
I myself have seen a fool taking root,
but suddenly his house was cursed.
His children are far from safety,
crushed in court without a defender.
The hungry consume his harvest,
taking it even from among thorns,
and the thirsty pant after his wealth.
For hardship does not spring from the soil,
nor does trouble sprout from the ground.
Yet man is born to trouble
as surely as sparks fly upward.

“But if I were you, I would appeal to God;
I would lay my cause before him.
He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed,
    miracles that cannot be counted.
10 He provides rain for the earth;
he sends water on the countryside.
11 The lowly he sets on high,
and those who mourn are lifted to safety.
12 He thwarts the plans of the crafty,
so that their hands achieve no success.
13 He catches the wise in their craftiness,
and the schemes of the wily are swept away.
14 Darkness comes upon them in the daytime;
at noon they grope as in the night.
15 He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth;
he saves them from the clutches of the powerful.
16 So the poor have hope,
    and injustice shuts its mouth.

17 “Blessed is the one whom God corrects;
so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
18 For he wounds, but he also binds up;
he injures, but his hands also heal.
19 From six calamities he will rescue you;
in seven no harm will touch you.
20 In famine he will deliver you from death,
and in battle from the stroke of the sword.
21 You will be protected from the lash of the tongue,
and need not fear when destruction comes.
22 You will laugh at destruction and famine,
and need not fear the wild animals.
23 For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field,
and the wild animals will be at peace with you.
24 You will know that your tent is secure;
you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing.
25 You will know that your children will be many,
and your descendants like the grass of the earth.
26 You will come to the grave in full vigor,
    like sheaves gathered in season.

27 “We have examined this, and it is true.
So hear it and apply it to yourself.”

Arise From, Move Beyond Your Crossroad & Walk Into Your Destiny (9.19.19)

My Child,
I See your heart, and I See your pain.  I See some of you sitting at the crossroads forcing yourselves just to exist; feeling nothing but spiritual and emotional burnout.  I Also see those of you who are sitting at the crossroads, weary from the years of waiting to see the fulfillment of My Promises for your life.

Let Me remind you, that you shall see your heart, spirit and body healed.  Then you shall see the restitution and restoration of all things lost.  However, in order for this to happen, you must move beyond your crossroad.

Too many of you are shut down and sitting at a crossroad; because of betrayal, hurt and abandonment.  Some of you have separated yourself from everyone you once trusted - even Me.  You’ve allowed a spirit of self-pity to hold you hostage; and now you’re stuck and feeling sorry for yourself.

It is time for you to get past your Ziklag crossroad and move on.
It is time to cross over.
It is time to stop saying, “I have nothing left to give.”
For each time you say this, that’s what exactly what
you are left with - nothing.

Deep within your heart, you know all I Have promised you shall come to pass.  Do not allow the hurt and pain to continue to speak for you.  You may not know how or when it will come to pass, but you know it shall happen.

I Say, it is time to arise and go forth
It is time for you to leave the crossroad
     that’s held you captive.
Arise, do not become stagnated anymore.
Arise in faith, and loose yourself from
     this crossroad.

My Child, I Am ready to move.
Are you ready to move with Me?

Then linger no more.

I Chose you, and I Knew this day would come.  And I Also know your end.

So, arise, and be eager to see Me Move in your life.  Arise from this crossroad with your faith renewed in Me and ready to receive.

Arise, My Beloved.
Arise with Me.

Move from this crossroad.
And walk into your destiny.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Genesis 13:17 - Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

Deuteronomy 2:2-3 - And the LORD spake unto me, saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

Psalm 32:8 - I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you, My eye shall be on you.

Psalm 116:8 - For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

Jeremiah 6:16 - This is what the LORD says: Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask which paths are the old, reliable paths. Ask which way leads to blessings. Live that way, and find a resting place for yourselves.

Jeremiah 31:25 - For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing."(NLT)

It Is Time to Grow (9.18.19)

My Child,
Do not fret, as our relationship begins to grow, and you can’t find Me as easily as you did in past times.  As you grow, I Will no longer be found in some of the ways that you are used to meeting with Me. When this happens, do not despair; for it is a sign that it is time to move from where you are and into new depths of relationship with Me. It is My Way of telling you that I Want you to press in and seek Me, all the more. I Must cause you to seek more of Me, because you cannot stay where you are AND reach your destiny.

As you press in and seek My Face, you will come to know Me better; and you will receive a greater level of My Power and My Anointing on your life. The transition times, from one level of maturity to another, may seem frustrating at times; because I Will require a higher level of dedication and obedience from you.  I Will require a higher level of holiness from you; and I Will ask you to become more like Me.

Do not worry. For I Will lead you, I Will teach you and I Will show you how to move on to the next level.  You will never walk alone.

So come, My Dear One, and press into Me.

It is time for growth.
It is time for a new adventure.

And it is time to press your way
into a greater level of My Presence.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Jeremiah 29:12-13 - Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Psalm 63:8 - My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Ephesians 4:14-15 - That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

2 Peter 3:18 - But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

#ScriptureReflection - 2 Kings 2 [AMP] (9.17.19)

Elijah Taken to Heaven

When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven by a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal. And Elijah said to Elisha, “Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha replied, “As the Lord lives and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel. Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take your master away from you today?” He said, “Yes, I know it; be quiet [about it].”
Elijah said to him, “Elisha, please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Jericho.” But he said, “As the Lord lives and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho. The sons of the prophets who were at Jericho approached Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take your master away from you today?” And he answered, “Yes, I know it; be quiet [about it].” Elijah said to him, “Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” But he said, “As the Lord lives and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.
Fifty men of the sons of the prophets also went and stood opposite them [to watch] at a distance; and the two of them stood by the Jordan. And Elijah took his mantle (coat) and rolled it up and struck the waters, and they were divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

And when they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you.” And Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
10 He said, “You have asked for a difficult thing. However, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.” 11 As they continued along and talked, behold, a chariot of fire with horses of fire [appeared suddenly and] separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. 12 Elisha saw it and cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” And he no longer saw Elijah. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces [in grief]. 13 He picked up the mantle of Elijah that fell off him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. 14 He took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him and struck the waters and said, “Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” And when he too had struck the waters, they divided this way and that, and Elisha crossed over.

Elisha Succeeds Elijah

15 When the sons of the prophets who were [watching] opposite at Jericho saw him, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” And they came to meet him and bowed down to the ground before him [in respect]. 16 Then they said to Elisha, “Behold now, there are among your servants fifty strong men; please let them go and search for your master. It may be that the Spirit of the Lord has taken him up and cast him on some mountain or into some valley.” And he said, “You shall not send anyone.” 17 But when they urged him until he was embarrassed [to refuse them], he said, “Send them.” So they sent fifty men, and they searched for three days but did not find Elijah. 18 They returned to Elisha while he was staying at Jericho; and he said to them, “Did I not tell you, ‘Do not go’?”
19 Then the men of the city said to Elisha, “Look, this city is in a pleasant place, as my lord [Elisha] sees; but the water is bad and the land [c]is barren.” 20 He said, “Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. 21 Then Elisha went to the spring of water and threw the salt in it and said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘I [not the salt] have purified and healed these waters; there shall no longer be death or barrenness because of it.’” 22 So the waters have been purified to this day, in accordance with the word spoken by Elisha.

23
Then Elisha went up from Jericho to Bethel. On the way, young boys came out of the city and mocked him and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!”
24 When he turned around and looked at them, he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore to pieces forty-two of the boys. 25 Elisha went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.

Will You Trust God's Plans? (9.16.19)

My Child,
Yes, I Closed that door,  It became a place of bondage for you. Trust that I Am moving on your behalf, and soon you will see a new door opening. I Am leading you to a better place, which will bring you closer to Me.

I Will accomplish all that I Began in you.

Now, turn away from the situation you were facing and look up....  There is something I Want to show you.

I Want to show you the right direction.
I Want you to see that it is filled with great
possibilities, and the way is completely
      unhindered.

Do not be surprised at the promotion which is coming. Oh, but it won’t be in the way that you are thinking. Just know that I Will not disappoint you, and you will bring glory to My Name.

So....

Will you trust My Plans?
Will you trust and know that I Have a future
      and a hope for you?
Will you trust that My Plans are to bless you
     and fulfill your hearts’ desires?
Will you trust and believe in My Word and know
that My Promises are 'Yes and Amen?'

Good.

Now rest in what I Have spoken over you, be still, and come close to Me.

There is great work yet to be done.....

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD:
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of GOD in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of GOD by us.

There is No Need to Worry (9.15.19)

My Child,
You have allowed anxiety from the past to creep in again, and it’s acting like an infection that wonʹt heal.

If this goes untreated, your anxiety will fester into a full‐blown depression - that will slowly take over your life.

My Child, I Am glad that you have come to Me.

No need to worry, I Will take it from here on.

The difficult conditions and the negative reports you’ve received are trying to undermine your faith in what I Am able to do. I Can heal all that concerns you. Just allow Me to put My Balm on it. My Balm is like no other, and can heal all your infirmities. I Know that in past times, it appeared as if I Let you down. However, just because some of your prayers have not been answered yet; it does not mean that I Have left you out in the cold.

I Am working matters out for your benefit,
     as well as My Kingdom.

I Am forever interceding on your behalf.

Therefore, cast aside all negative thoughts and think on good things. Surround yourself with people who are rooted and grounded in My Word -- people who are uplifting, and full of faith.

They will remind you that there is no need to worry,
that you simply should be still and know
     that I Am GOD.

Read and Meditate on God's Word:
Proverbs 3:24 - When you lie down, you shall not be afraid; yea, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Romans 8:27-28 - And He searching the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of GOD. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love GOD, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Luke 12:28-31 - If then GOD so clothes the grass (which today is in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven) how much more will He clothe you, O little-faiths? And do not seek what you shall eat, nor what you shall drink, and stop being in anxiety. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you have need of these things. But rather seek the kingdom of GOD, and all these things shall be added to you.

Faith Believers,
I pray the peace of Jesus will flood your soul and destroy any fears holding you back; so that the vision He has given you, will come to pass.

#ScriptureReflection - Philippians 2:1-18 (9.14.19)

Plea for Unity and Humility.
If there is any encouragement in Christ, any solace in love, any participation in the Spirit, any compassion and mercy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, with the same love, united in heart, thinking one thing. Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, each looking out not for his own interests, but [also] everyone for those of others.

Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus,
Who, though he was in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God something to be grasped.
    Rather, he emptied himself,
taking the form of a slave,
    coming in human likeness;
    and found human in appearance,
    he humbled himself,
        becoming obedient to death,
        even death on a cross.
Because of this, God greatly exalted him
and bestowed on him the name
    that is above every name,
10     that at the name of Jesus
    every knee should bend,
of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11     and every tongue confess that
    Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Obedience and Service in the World.
12 So then, my beloved, obedient as you have always been, not only when I am present but all the more now when I am absent, work out your salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For God is the one who, for his good purpose, works in you both to desire and to work. 14 Do everything without grumbling or questioning, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation,[l] among whom you shine like lights in the world, 16 as you hold on to the word of life, so that my boast for the day of Christ may be that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. 17 But, even if I am poured out as a libation upon the sacrificial service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with all of you. 18 In the same way you also should rejoice and share your joy with me.

The Words You Speak..... (9.13.19)

My Child,
Do you understand how to take the victory over your circumstances?

I Have taught you how to be an overcomer.  So, lift your eyes up and do not look at your circumstances.

Focus on Me.

When you look up, you rise above your circumstances; and these trials will have no power over you.  However, when you focus on your circumstances, instead of the things above, you become defeated.

As you speak My Word, it brings life into lifeless circumstances. This is called walking by faith and not by sight, My Child; and it is what I Expect those who put their trust in Me, to do.

Although your circumstances may look impossible,
all things are possible to those who look to Me.

Have I Not made it clear that the greatest weapon you carry is the weapon of your testimony? The Words you speak will either bring life or death; and that power is in the tongue.

Speak life and you will see life!
Speak blessings into your life and
     you will receive blessings.
Do not listen to the words of the enemy.
Destroy the works of the enemy by
     speaking things into existence.

Nothing is too difficult for Me.  I Say, NOTHING!  Therefore, speak Words of Life. Continue to call into being those things that are not, for in so doing, you bring the spiritual into the natural.  And what you have declared in the Heavens will be made manifest in the Earth.

Now, examine the words you speak.

Do you speak Words of Life that reach into the soul and bring Life, or do they give glory to the works of the enemy?  I Challenge you, this day, to line up the words you speak with My Words. Speak Life into your circumstances, and do not bow down to the enemy's tactics. All power belongs to Me, and I Have given it to you.

So, speak Words of Life and you will see a lifeless situation change.  This is one of the greatest and most powerful weapons I've Given to My Children.

So, use it!

Be Still and Listen (9.12.19)

My Child,
My Ears are not deaf to your cries, nor have I Been unaware of your dilemma. I Am God, and I Hear and Answer prayers. Be still; and come into My Rest and Comfort.  For this is a time when you can easily become overwhelmed by your responsibilities. You would do well to see this attack as temporary.

Yes, what you’re going through won’t last forever.

Even now, I Am speaking into your circumstances; and imparting wisdom into your situation. However, it would help if you would shut out the noise of others so you can hear Me. Yes, quiet your Spirit so that you can hear My ʺStill Small Voice. ʺ

Only when you quiet your mind and emotions will you be able to receive the answers and direction you require.

So, refuse to overreact. Be still, let Me soothe your troubled soul and alleviate the turmoil. I Speak peace unto you. Come to Me, and stay before Me, until you receive your blessing.

READ AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
Psalm 46:10 - Be still, and know that I am GOD! I will be praised among the nations, I will be praised in the earth.

Psalm 37:7 - Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Psalm 119:165 - Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Isaiah 26:3 - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - For this cause we do not faint; but though our outward man perishes, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us a far more excellent eternal weight of glory, while we do not consider the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are not lasting, but the things which are not seen are everlasting.

Do Not Limit God (9.11.19)

My Child,
Do not limit the things that I Want to do in your life.

Do not let your daily situations hinder you from
     reaching your destiny.

Allow Me to refresh you, and breathe new life into your hopes and dreams; which lie buried under heavy burdens and despair. If you let Me, I Will destroy the limitations in your mind that are blocking you from reaching your dreams. I Will wipe away the fears and discouraging thoughts that tell you it cannot be done.

Keep your mind on Me, not on your situations.
Stop worrying about what you see or don’t see.

Pray that your spiritual eyes will be opened, so that you can see this new day filled with opportunities and blessings that I Have for you.

It is My Desire to restore that which was lost.
It is My Desire to see you succeed.
It is My Desire to ignite the love that once believed
in Me, so that you can stop limiting what I Desire
      to do for you.

It is time you take the limits off of Me.

#ScriptureReflection - Mark 13 (9.10.19)

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

13 As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!”

“Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?”

Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.

“You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. 11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

12 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 13 Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

14 “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let no one on the housetop go down or enter the house to take anything out. 16 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 17 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 18 Pray that this will not take place in winter, 19 because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again.

20 “If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them. 21 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. 22 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 23 So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

24 “But in those days, following that distress,
“‘the sun will be darkened,
    and the moon will not give its light;
25 the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

26 “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

28 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 29 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. 30 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

The Day and Hour Unknown

32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on guard! Be alert[e]! You do not know when that time will come. 34 It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.

35 “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36 If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37 What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’”

Trust God in What May Seem Like Difficult Times. Our Father Will Give You the Grace & Strength You Need... (9.9.19)

My Child,
I Have all things under control.

Things may not be going precisely the way you expected them to go, but that doesn’t mean I Am not in control. Divine Plans are taking place behind the scene, which you can’t understand right now. You don't have to understand what I Am doing or why I Am doing it, but you do have to trust Me. I Want you to know that I Have a plan and a purpose, to bring My Glory into your situation.

I Am in control and I Am working everything out for your good.

You must have faith and trust, that whatever comes your way; it will not catch Me by surprise.  Yes, there are times when I Will require a lot from you. However, in those times I Will give you the grace and strength you need to succeed.

When My Son stood in the Garden of Gethsemane and prayed, He did not want to go through with what I Was asking Him to endure. From a human standpoint, it looked horrible beyond measure. What I Had asked Him to do was not easy to do, at that moment.  He prayed and prayed and said, "Nevertheless," and went through it; so that I Would be glorified through Him.

Likewise, there may be times when you will stand in your own Garden of Gethsemane.  Times when you will look at what lies ahead and shutter.  I Want you to know that as you trust Me, and move forward in obedience through the difficulty; I Will both strengthen you in the task, and pour My Glory into your situation. And when the task is complete, I Will raise you up, and you will stand in My Strength and you will walk in My Glory.

Child of Mine, I Want you to trust Me in your difficult times; because I Am in charge and I Know what I Am doing. I Will indeed work My Glory in your situation, just place your trust in Me.

Read and Meditate on God's Word
Job 23:10 - But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

Psalm 121:1-2 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Matthew 26:39 - And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

2 Colossians 12:9 - And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me.

Hebrews 4:16 - Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

It is Time, Now...... Now RUN! (9.8.18)

Beloved,
It is time.
I Am calling out to you.

You have been hidden away for a long time, wandering around in circles in the desert for a season. You were never quite sure when I Would lead you out. You wondered if you would find your way out again.

At times, you thought your drought would not end. You cried out to Me for a change. Your time in the desert is over now. It is time to suit up in your armor once more, and go into the new land that is waiting for you.

It is time now.

I Know you have gotten comfortable in the desert and somehow came close to giving up. However, this season was for a purpose, and it was good.

It was in the desert that I Prepared you, did a work in your heart, and in your life. However, I Need you to get ready to run now. I Need you to move forward, so that I Can bring the pieces together in your new land. I Want you to move into the land that I Promised you, the land I Have promised My Church.

There is work to be done.
Work in which you have been prepared to do.

Your desert time is over.
It is time for you to come out of hiding.

Now.

READ AND MEDITATE ON HIS WORD:
Deuteronomy 2:2-3 - And the LORD spake unto me, saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

Psalm 32:8 - I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Matthew 9:36-38 - But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.

James 1:22-23 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

#ScriptureReflection - Colossians 1:21-23 (9.7.19)

Brothers and sisters:
You once were alienated and hostile in mind because of evil deeds;
God has now reconciled you
in the fleshly Body of Christ through his death,
to present you holy, without blemish,
and irreproachable before him,
provided that you persevere in the faith,
firmly grounded, stable,
and not shifting from the hope of the Gospel that you heard,
which has been preached to every creature under heaven,
of which I, Paul, am a minister.

Wait On God (9.6.19)

My Child,
You are experiencing hardships and trials that you have never encountered, and they have caused you to feel like you have reached the end of your rope. The storms have worn you down, and your prayers appear to be falling on deaf ears.

However, I Say to you, trust in My Word, trust in My Grace, and wait for Me.

I Love you and I Have seen every tear you have shed. I Have heard every cry, even when spoken in anger. I Understand what you are going through, and My Mercy and My Compassion are with you. You want to walk away and give up, because you do not feel blessed like your friends; and you think I Have forgotten about you. You know that is a lie from the enemy.

Right now, this very moment, you must rise up and rebuke those lies in the Name of My Son, Jesus!

Hold on and have faith in My Word.
I AM Jehovah Jireh, your Provider.
Call out to Me.
Talk to Me.
Tell Me exactly how you feel.
Tell Me this battle is too much for you.
Tell Me you have come to the end of yourself,
and surrender it all to Me.

Release everything that you are going through to Me, your Father; then recognize that this is not the end of the road. No, this is the beginning of a new day. Now, that you have released it to Me, I Can do what I Have been trying to do in your life. Now, I Can bring complete healing and deliverance to you. I Know it is hard, but you are going to come out of this. If you wait for Me, I Promise you, you will receive your healing and deliverance.

You will be set free from all that was trying to overcome you and destroy you.

Wait for Me.
I Will be there for you.
Nothing is impossible for Me!

Please believe in Me again.
Do not turn away from Me.
Believe in My Love, My Goodness, My Healing and Delivering Power just once more.

I Promise I Will never fail you.

#ScriptureReflection - Colossians 1:9-14 (9.5.19)

Brothers and sisters:
From the day we heard about you, we do not cease praying for you
and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God's will
through all spiritual wisdom and understanding
to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord,
so as to be fully pleasing, in every good work bearing fruit
and growing in the knowledge of God,
strengthened with every power, in accord with his glorious might,
for all endurance and patience,
with joy giving thanks to the Father, who has made you fit to share
in the inheritance of the holy ones in light.

He delivered us from the power of darkness
and transferred us to the Kingdom of his beloved Son,
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

First Things First (9.4.19)

Exhale, and work through the temptation to be overwhelmed.

My Child,
You have not been given more than you can handle, but the way you deal with these trials will be the key to your success.  During your spiritual progression, you must do 'first things first,' and follow My Lead.  When you do not follow the path I Am showing you, your progress will be hindered (or even stopped) until you've accomplish what I Have set before you.

Keep your hands to the plow, do the things I’ve given you to do, and do not stop until the tasks are complete.  Your steps have been ordered, now look at what is before you and do that first. Do not try to look at the whole picture right now; for if you do, you are likely to become bogged down.  Therefore, take steps as I direct you.

Let Me lead you.

Beloved Child of Mine, I Have many things to show you, which will require your heart and mind to be focused and receptive.  So, let go of everything that hinders your flow in the Spirit, and focus on where I Am leading you.

You are Mine.
You are not your own.
I Have a purpose for your life that you
     have not yet realized.
Let Me lead you into your destiny.

~ Let Us Pray ~
Lord God,
Guide us and let us not become distracted with worldly things.
Help us to keep our minds on You, as You direct our steps.
We desire to keep You first in all that we do, so that our work
     will glorify Your Name.
Amen
