From Jerusalem, B.C. to Your House, 2021; from the First Palm Sunday to To-Day - Our God is The God of Second Chances (3.28.21)

He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah
will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,
and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be
preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

- LUKE 24:46-47

A Blessed Palm Sunday to you and yours,
Faith Believers!

“Beginning at Jerusalem.”
These three amazing words tell us so much about the love and grace of our great Savior, Jesus Christ.

You know the story. Jesus came to His own, but they did not receive Him. He was despised and rejected, and they hid our faces from Him and held Him in low esteem (Isaiah 53:3.)

For three years, Jesus performed miracles and healed people. He tirelessly preached on the streets, in the temple, and in the wilderness. Crowds followed Him everywhere. But the religious leaders hated Him, and in the end, the people chose to set free a murderer - instead of Jesus. His friends ran. His mother, and a few women, watched Him die a lonely death.

It is hard to believe that Jerusalem would be the starting place for GOD to show any mercy. They heard and saw the Lord of Glory, God's Son sent to save them (and us), Jesus the Christ - and rejected Him - then put Him to death. Based on their "double-minded actions," one could 'make the case' that this town did not deserve another visit from God Above.

But Jesus is a GOD of second chances. After He rose from the dead, Jesus sent His Disciples back to the temple saying, let all of Israel be assured of this: GOD has made this Jesus, whom you crucified both Lord and Messiah - Acts 2:36.

You remember the story. “They were cut to the heart,” and this time Heaven’s Gates opened to thousands of the undeserving.

What about you, friend?
All of you have heard the story.

But some of you, too many of you, have been rejecting Jesus so long.   Maybe some of you think it’s too late for you.  Know this and know it well - it is never ever too late to fully give your life to Jesus Christ.

Fully give your life to Jesus today.
For He died for you and He Loves you.

Thank Jesus often, and Praise GOD always,
for His Forgiveness, for His Perfect Love
     and His Perfect Peace.

~ Prayer ~
Lord Jesus,
Forgive me for treating You so badly.

Thank you for dying for me.
I do not deserve anything good from You.
And yet, You have become everything for me.

Thank you for Your Great Love to undeserving
     sinners like me!

Forgive me, Lord; as I fully give my life
     to You, this day.

I pray this prayer in Your Mighty Name

Amen
