Be Quiet, Sit Still, He will Direct Your Path (1.23.13)

Many times we struggle with situations unnecessarily when we should be quiet and listen to GOD.

Why do we think we should always engage ourselves in every situation around us?

When we do this, it becomes very difficult to discern the times and seasons revealed to us through the Holy Spirit.  GOD said if you would just come before me and humble yourselves and be still; then I will reveal many things to you.  Often times the LORD answers our prayers, but we are too busy to spend time with Him in prayer to hear what He is saying.

Yes, we struggle within our own minds, giving place to the enemy. We are continually warring with the enemy of our souls, and with our own thoughts. The Lord wants us to take every thought captive, and bring everything into obedience to the Word of GOD.

When we fail to do this the enemy has the green light to ambush our mind and thought-patterns; causing us to doubt GOD's word by trying to take matters into our own hands. With all of that said, commit to spending some time with the LORD on a daily basis so you can hear from Him.

He will direct your path.
