Jehovah tells us to, Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words,
and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each
other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as GOD through Christ has
forgiven you.
When someone hurt you or you experience an injustice, GOD knows all about
it. In fact, He knows every wrong that has ever occurred on earth. So often when
others hurt us the first thing we want to do is retaliate. We want to hurt that
person back. GOD said to do no such thing, but to respond to that person with
love. GOD said that vengeance is His and He will repay for all things, good and
bad.
Forgive that person who has hurt you.
If you feel the hurt is too deep and
you can't seem to forgive, then ask the Lord to intervene.
He has promised to
intervene when we become overwhelmed.
Also remember that GOD created no one
perfect. JESUS is the only perfect one. We all have hurt someone in our lives,whether knowingly or unknowingly. If you do not forgive this person then GOD will
not forgive you for the things you have done.
