I think you know this familiar story --
Once the children of Israel were released, they came upon a
place where the sea was before them and the enemy was behind them.
Even though they were confused and didn't understand how to proceed, Moses said to them in Exodus 14:13, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD". Moses said to the children of Israel, "the Egyptians who you see today, you shall see no more forever. A time is coming when GOD will do away with the enemies in your life." The Lord told Moses, "Tell the children of Israel to GO FORWARD."
So many times when we feel blocked by the schemes of the enemy, we want to stop and give up, losing all faith in GOD's promise. The Lord then said to Moses, "Lift up your rod". The rod that Moses held in his hand was a symbol of authority. You too, have a measure of authority, that GOD has given to you.
Exercise that authority and your way will begin to open up. The Lord will then overtake your enemy, allowing you to proceed into your next phase of victory and blessings. The Lord has promised He will fight for us (His children).
Do not look back at your enemy, but stay focused on GOD.
Focus on the power He has given you through His Name.
Speak His Name into your situation and your Red Sea will part right before your eyes; but remember it will all be done in His timing and according to His will.
