Seek, Honor & Fear God with All Your Being (3.21.14)

Then Asa called to the Lord his GOD and said, “Lord, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, Lord our GOD, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord, you are our GOD; do not let mere mortals prevail against you
 - 2 Chronicles 14:11

The one fear that delivers humans from all other fears is the fear of GOD.
When this fear is rightly understood and lived by, we need not fear anything else.

Everyday we must choose between fearing humans or the fear of GOD.
When we receive the Holy Spirit, GOD places in us,
the fear of Him (Jeremiah 32:39).
When we fear GOD, it shows in how we live.
To fear GOD means to rejoice at just the mentioning of His great name.

When we truly fear the Lord, it shows in how we relate to others.
The things you feel in your heart, start to show in your actions.
One of the greatest gifts you can leave your children, the next generation,
is a Godly testimony of having faith in God and Christ.

GOD wants His people to seek Him, and honor Him, with all our being.
Many of us serve GOD with our mouths, but our hearts are far from Him.
Actions and words will prove one's faith, or faithlessness,
and whether we truly feared the Lord.

The Bible tell us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
When we have the fear of GOD in our lives,
it means that we have reverence, respect, and honor for GOD at all times.
We will seek GOD always no matter what,
knowing that He is GOD all by Himself
and that there is no other GOD.
