Being Alone with God (8.25.13)

The Son of GOD had thousand of people in his presence at any given time. He had a multitude in His presence as He opened the eyes of the blind and healed the sick; but when He was sweating on the cross and about to be crucified, He was alone.

When going through your trials, sometimes it is good to be alone.
Often the greatest trials of your life will take place when you are alone.

When this happens, you will need the power of GOD to sustain you while you are going through.  It is always good to have someone to pray with, but there is nothing that will give you courage and build up your character as being alone with GOD during the great battles of your life.

Sometimes we depend on people and will listen to them when we are vulnerable. Jesus was left by those who had been with Him and knew Him best. They were tired and weary, and they had no conception of what was going on.

It is good to be with friends and to hear their encouraging words; but being alone with GOD and praying to Him during our most challenging trials will help us to get through. Many of us fail this part of the test, because we are not prepared to go through our test alone without having anyone around.

GOD does tell us to pray for one another and prayer groups are very effective; but sometimes you need to be alone with GOD, just you and Him in prayer.

Remember we all have to stand before the Lord one day, alone, one-by-one and give an account for our lives.

My point is, alone is not a negative word when it pertain to the Lord; because the bottom line is, you are never alone.

He promised to never leave you nor forsake you!!!
