In spite of this, you did not trust in the Lord your GOD…. - Deuteronomy 1:32
You're at a point in your life where you are trying to figure out
whether to trust GOD, or to let doubt dictate your decisions.
Faith Believers,
Are you hesitant to reach out and receive the blessings He has abundantly provided within your grasp? If you are, you may be wandering around aimlessly in circles, just like the people of Israel did for 40 years in the wilderness. Because of their failure to trust in the Lord their GOD, they ultimately settled for so much less than what GOD intended for them. Or maybe you’re gripped by fear like the people of Israel, as they deliberately and defiantly refused to respond to GOD’s clear commands.
In spite of all GOD had done to prove His trustworthiness, they resisted His clear directive to take possession of the Promised Land. Even though GOD had miraculously delivered them from Egyptian bondage, dried the Red Sea (allowing them to cross while escaping the clutches of their enemies), led them through the desert, and defeated the Amalekite armies along the way, they took their eyes off Him and focused on the “giants” before them.
GOD assures us in 2 Peter 1:3 - His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. Let’s choose to trust that as we read His Word, meditate on it, and apply it to our lives, we will experience the blessed life He has promised.
Father,
So often we miss out on Your blessings,
because we fail to trust You.
I pray we utilize Your grace to step out
in faith to stand on Your promises, and
not forfeit the blessed life You have promised me.
In the name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
Replace fear with faith.
Stand on the promises of GOD
that address a specific struggle you’re experiencing.
Trust Him to provide everything you need
to glorify Him in that situation.
